Dr. Hull is our Pediatrician and she continues to be absolutely wonderful with our son, extremely skilled, and very communicative. For new parents her ability to clearly and reassuringly answer newbie questions is incredibly beneficial. We feel very safe and well cared for by Dr. Hull and Preferred Pediatrics.

By far the WORST experience my mother had . Normally she takes my son to the office in Lee’s Hill when I cannot due to work , to see Dr. O’Brien who is absolutely AMAZING along with the nurses, receptionists etc. But today I needed him to be seen immediately. Rude staff and NO communication whatsoever. They took his vitals told her they sent the prescription to the pharmacy and sent her on her way. Didn’t even tell her what medicine or what he had . My mother was so upset when she called me . I hope to NEVER have to be scheduled in this location . Very disappointed .

We used to love going to this practice. The staff used to be friendly and go above and beyond for their patients. The last year and a half the staff have become rude and rushed. When you call the office your put on hold for an unusual amount of time to be taken off hold and put back onto hold. Appointments are hard to get, and are weeks out.

I have taking my children there for over 15 years. The staff is caring, attentive and highly accommodating. Several of my children have special needs and I have never had a problem getting an appointment, having charts shared for service coordination not felt like concern regarding my children’s care was not addressed. Dr. Hull is loving, knowledgeable and really listens to any concerns noted.

Their doctors are really nice. We have been with Dr. Kost-Phillips for about a year and half, but its been a struggle due to their office and phone staff. They are the most unprofessional and rudest people I have ever had the misfortune to have to speak to. They will hang up on you for no reason, and they have no desire to help beyond the basic making an appointment. If you have the patience to deal with those kinds of employees, then the doctors are OK. But the stress of having to speak to anybody on the phone is not worth the struggle.

So, it was my sons 18 month old check up, this Lady, “Dr.J Hull” came up with her laptop, asked questions, and then without even washing her Hands, and no gloves on she started examining my boy all over his body... Second, she left without telling me when he would need a following Appointment, as I was on my way out, I stop by the desk where she was standing, and She waved her hand at me the way you tell someone to leave. So that was more than enough for not making another appointment to come back ever again. Now, my son is 2 years old and I just find out she didn’t even ordered the lab tests Childrens are supposed to get done at 12 months old. If there is some pediatrician WORST THAN HER Please let Everyone know!

I only took my kids here a couple times the doctors were not at all pleasant so we switched providers! Here we are 11 years later and they are garnishing my children’s fathers wages in the middle of a pandemic! Not only that we all know you cannot see them with out providing insurance information! So now a bill that was $366 is well over $1000! A family of six while trying to homeschool and living off one income this is rough! This place is a headache and are money hungry! Take your kids else where!!!

If I could I would give this office a 0. I took my son there After I got his psychology report and the doctor put him on medicine for it. I’m not gonna say anything bad about the doctor because Doctor Hull isn’t the problem.But that office is going to lose business If the staff keep talking to people the way they do. I put my pants on the same way they do and they need to realize that when I talk to people. They are really unprofessional and I switch doctors because of the staff. This place would be a nice place of the staff was a little bit friendlier and showed a little bit of respect for people when talking to them. I don’t wanna say all the stuff there but I won’t Name any names because I don’t wanna put her out there. If you read this I’m sure you know who you are and you really shouldn’t talk to people that way. Also the one on the hill and snowden obviously Don’t communicate with each other because I took the change name for my son a long time ago to the one on lee hill And I Started to go to the one in Snowden and they never changed his name I had to take all his information into Snowden all over again. Smh

My son was seen today for the first time with Dr. Hull. She was very thorough which was fantastic. However, she lacked complete sensitivity towards my teenaged son with his depression and anxiety. She made him very uncomfortable in regards to his self harm scars and kept commenting and touching them. They are old scars not newShe also said it was good that he didnt cut from elbow to wrist (motioned elbow to wrist) as that would been much worse. I was completely shocked that she would say this IN FRONT OF MY SON who has struggled severely with self harm and suicidal ideation. She essentially told him how to do it the right way should be even attempt again.While Dr. Hull is very nice, I feel that there should be sensitivity training in regards to children who struggle with mental health issues. My son is 17 and has struggled for 3 years with his mental health. He sees a psychiatrist. I just feel that Dr. Hull gave him another idea if he should spiral in the future. It was absolutely inappropriate and insensitive. He felt ashamed when she continued to comment on his scars and hes worked so very hard to overcome mental illness.I feel as if we were to go back again, this may continue unless the providers can learn how to talk to patients with mental illness.

I wish I could give them zero star. Please do not take your kids to this location.

I love Dr. Hull and so does my son. Shes very patient and takes the time to answer all of my questions. She has worked with me on finding the right medication for his ADHD. Shes very caring and compassionate. Ive never had a problem getting an appointment, we never wait very long once we are there and I leave feeling like something has been accomplished.

My daughter had her first visit with Dr.Hull today for her 6 month check up and Iam completely in love with this office! The front staff was very nice and welcoming. Dr.Hull was so amazing with my daughter she played with her, took her time and answered all of my questions. I can tell she really loves her job and i’m so happy to finally find an amazing doctor for my daughter! I’m a first time mom and the first office we went to it was like the doctor was angry when I would ask questions, but Dr. Hull was AMAZING I highly recommend her if you are looking for a great doctor for your child!!!

We have had nothing but good visits with this practice. We typically see Dr. Kost, who used to work over at the hospital, and shes been right on the money with both our daughters. Our infant has been going in for the usual baby visits and shes been very helpful answering any questions we might have, and even offering additional information. I appreciate that because often you dont know, what you dont know. They are usually very busy, but the staff are super friendly and will try to work with you if they can. Their triage line is also a lifesaver - and they dont charge you to use it!

These people are horrible. Dont go here. They judge you. My son weight was not all that bad. So, they cost more problems that could of been fixed and made me as a good mother look bad without being real with me. Please! Save yourself. Stay away from there.

The nurses and doctors are great. Never issues with them. However, the front desk and the answering service (when they are at lunch) are absolutely rude!

Top Notch! We have been seeing Dr. Purcell for over 18 years!! Practice is very clean, pleasant, and very accommodating to our busy schedules. Highly recommend Preferred Pediatrics.

Dr Jane Hull is amazing! I love her and so do my kids! She is very compassionate, patient, friendly and loving.

We have loved the staff and Dr.s weve worked with at Preferred Pediatrics-Snowden office. They have seen our children for the past 4 years; our youngest since birth. The nursing staff is more than accommodating for fussy, or fearful children. They go out of their way to be friendly and encouraging to the little ones while being helpful and supportive of the parents. Weve come in for everything from ear infections to unidentifiable rashes and have always received excellent attention and care. Weve never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes to be seen. They are always helpful finding us an appointment, even at the last minute. Weve visited the other Preferred Pediatrics offices and found them to hold to the same standard of care. We highly recommend them.

Well my son was getting his 6 month shot and had to do blood work and the lady came in and said his vein was small. and so she pricked him in his arm and it did not work so she pricked the other arm did not work so she went to his foot and it work. onto of that he was getting his vaccine. I was not happy about it all. I would not go to this place if you have to get get blood work. Dr Jane Hull is amazing.

Would be zero. the receptionist needs to learn her job and not advise people on what a doctor or nurse can do. she gave me 4 different answers. then doctor comes out and tells me the exact opposite. she was rude, and got angry bc I asked her for her job title. I tried to explain that my family member needed a script if only for 3 days to get meds back in his system and she informed me that could NOT be done. but i know better and the doctor on duty confirmed it. She treated the patient like a number and not a person. Get another job if you cannot deal with the public. worst ever!!!!!

The front desk persons were really rude. The doctor did her job and was correct in her diagnosis but the overall experience was bad enough that I would never return. That is why I gave two stars.

Love all the staff, and very easy to get a doctor appointment with a sick child. My kids have been going there for the last 10 years. Never had a problem with the doctor or staff.

I love this place nurses and drs are amazing

I seriously cannot say enough amazing things about this place! From the front desk staff- to my girl - Jenn Eaton and her nurses!!! I just love them all! I used to go to the one in Fredericksburg because I live like a mile away, but one day, they couldn’t accommodate an appointment for me, so they asked if it’s ok if I go to Lees hill and I said yes- BEST DECISION EVER!! I was thinking of changing pediatricians after going to the one in Fredericksburg, but after meeting Eaton and her nurses, I was blown away and will keep my daughter there until she’s 18! Lol. Seriously, they are fantastic! They always go above and beyond and I am so blessed that they always give me samples of our very pricey formula! They are dolls! I love them!! Oh and let me not forget that Jenn Eaton and her nurses are on top of everything! She fills me in on everything and all of her concerns. I can tell that the health of her patients is her passion.

Never needed their medical records to make an appt. Will not be coming here!!

Took my son twice to preferred pediatrics in one week, first time Dr.Kost prescribed him zofran for his vomiting and then went in again and Dr.Hall prescribed my son antibiotics well long story short after an entire week goes by I took my son to the E.R. and he had pneumonia! I cannot believe either of the doctors didnt see that he had pneumonia, unbelievable!! Im changing pediatricians!!

Overall they are good, never experienced any problems with them. Everyone make mistakes every once in a while, no one is a perfect soul.

Our experience with our office was a string of careless errors. Dr Kost wrote our twins vitamin D Rx for one drop when the true dosage was one dropper. I overlooked this as no big deal. The much bigger issue occurred when she prescribed my newborn 8 mL of Zantac twice a day. She had intended to type 0.8mL. This yielded a screaming infant who would not eat, smelled like a medicine cabinet, and a 4am call to poison control. Dr Kost then blamed CVS for not catching her mistake. Additionally, when we called their office at 4am and got their answering service, they told us to call CVS. Nice.

Love the staff and doctors very nice
