From the start he was very understanding and has great bedside manner. Thankfully I did not need surgery, just a Cortisone shot. He administered the shot there in the office. I barely felt anything. He definitely knows what he is doing. His experience shows. His assistant was spectacular as well. Unfortunately I do not remember her name. I would definitely recommend him. He truly cares about his patients health, your not treated like a number. That was very important to me.

What an awesome doctor and staff. They are on top of their game. I was having issues dealing with workmans comp and they made my life so much easier. I never had any questions because they already answered any thing I was thinking to ask. I am extremely happy with my results.

By far the best docotor, nurse and front desk help I have had. I would recommend to anyone. I had seen another local orthopedic docotor for a few years and they could never treat my problem and were a little to rude for my liking and so I decided to just try someone else and so super glad I did. My issue was resolved going on 2 years now and I can still call for other body issues and they still care just as much as they did from the first visit.

Dr. Biddulph combines his experience, knowledge, and training with a personality that reflects high intelligence and compassion. As demonstrated in his treatment of my injured knee, Dr. Biddulph’s ability to patiently dig deep into the possible causes and implications gave me options to consider. I was amazed by his ability to thoroughly digest so many details and then explain and answer questions on a level that made me feel as if I had his full and sole attention. Applying a comprehensive, systematic approach, Dr. Biddulph was able to generate a plan that will get me back to the kind of quality of life I had before my injury.I strongly believe that Dr. Biddulph reflects a model of an ideal medical practitioner. He genuinely cares and makes a personal investment in the health and well-being of his patients.I need to add that his staff assistant (Joanne) and nurse (Tammy) also reflect the extraordinary high standards of care demonstrated by Dr. Biddulph. Joanne and Tammy both took the time to extend themselves in a way that made a difficult situation as pleasant as possible.

Dr. Biddulph and his nurse Tammy, are the best of the best! Dr. Biddulph does not rush you through like being on an assembly line as a patient. He treats his patients with genuine care and concern. He takes whatever amount of time you need with him to answer questions you may have; I never felt rushed through my visits. My surgery went well, everything from start to finish was excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Biddulph for any orthopedic related issues. On another note, my insurance company was very difficult to deal with and Dr. Biddulph and Tammy spent many hours on the phone, most times on lengthy holds, to get my surgery approved. They went above and beyond even after a long day of work, time spent after hours, to get my approval expedited.I would give 500 stars if the line above had an add button!Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Dr. Biddulph and his team.

Dr. Biddulph and his team are the best you will find. 10 years ago I fracture both of my ankles at the same time and one was compound. Dr. B was assigned to my case in the ER and I am so grateful that he was. Given my injury I should not be able to walk without a limp or run/jump/etc. I can do all those things and more. His patient care and bedside manner are incomparable. In the last 10 years I have had minimal pain and been able to do anything I want. Recently I was experiencing ankle pain after a minor injury and went to see him and his staff. After 10 years he has the same receptionist and nurse working in his office - this really says something about the kind of practice they run together. He has always been very knowledgeable, patient with questions and willing to work with me with various treatment options (cane or crutch, brace or boot - we decide together, Im never told what to do) Expect to wait a bit after your scheduled time in his office - this is due to him never rushing a patient and thoughtfully answering every question they have. You will be treated no differently, it is worth the wait. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Dr. Biddulph seems to genuinely care about his patients from my experience. He was upfront and straight forward about the plan for diagnosis and treatment of both my shoulder and my knee. Its a small office and during our initial visit we had a pretty long wait. With that said, Im glad that we gave Dr. Biddulph a go and I couldnt be happier. Very friendly and caring folks.

Several months ago I suddenly developed a case of trigger thumb, and Dr. B. offered a couple of different options, including surgery. I wanted to make surgery my very last resort, so I got a cortisone shot to see if it helped. It helped for several weeks, then the triggering returned, so I went back and we tried one more cortisone shot. So far, it seems to be working. I just want to say, Dr. Biddulph and his staff are the best!! He is very conscientious about making sure that you are experiencing a minimal amount of pain during his procedures, and I am very happy about that. Although Ive always had a fairly high threshold for pain, it seems to have lessened as Ive gotten older, so Im thrilled that he makes you as comfortable as possible, and periodically asks if youre doing o.k. pain-wise. If the triggering comes back painfully in my thumb, which he said it is always possible, I wouldnt let any other doctor operate on it but him. Yes, hes that good!! (His staff is, too...sadly, their names have flown out of my head at the moment, but they are all very nice, friendly, and personable.)

Excellent care - from the moment I first called, Joann was very helpful and professional. They could get me in with an appt the very next day which was very important - I had call two other offices and they were a week out seeing me. I had a fractured ankle. Dr. Biddulph and his staff very always prompt and courteous. Top notch care was given to me and my ankle and I am very pleased with his medical care.

Dr. Biddulph is great as is his staff. He takes extraordinary measures to ensure you understand your options, treatments, and expected results. I required some injections and the care he took to ensure as little discomfort as possible was far beyond anything Ive ever seen. I will continue visiting for my future orthopedic needs.

I hurt my knee running on a Sunday morning and was unable to put weight on it or straighten it. I was very scared. Dr. Biddulph and his team were able to get me in for x-rays and evaluation on Monday, MRI on Tuesday, and into surgery (diagnosis was torn meniscus) the following week. Its been a little over two weeks since surgery and Im walking normally again without any pain. I was able to completely straighten my leg shortly after surgery. Dr. Biddulph helped me so much and Im so grateful to his team. I trust him and would recommend him to anyone.

Very professional and friendly office. I have very little scarring from my bicep and rotator cuff repair. In less than the expected timing, I am back to my normal daily routine and work life. I particularly appreciated having the necessary paperwork to take with me at the end of the appointments. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Biddulph and his staff to my family and friends.

Website says that they accept Innovation Health (all plans) so I requested an appointment online. They called to tell me they do not accept the the Hospitals Innovation Health plan and I am a Hospital employee. Either the website is wrong or the Staff is misinformed. A little frustrating that they are located ON the medical campus but wont accept the insurance.

Great Doctor! I suffered a bad knee injury at work, Dr. Biddulph and his staff were great. They wanted to do everything they could to help me with as little pain as possible. When I told him I had not had X-rays at the general practice doc, he immediately moved me into the next room, X-ray room and took a quick look to make certain no bones were the problem. Took all of 2 minutes! I ended up needing arthroscopic surgery, Dr. Biddulph sat down with me and explained everything very clearly before the surgery. Every question I had, he answered, trivial or silly or not. Im not a fan of needles or discussing the actual details of surgery. Dr. Biddulph avoided the gory details and prescribed an anxiety pill on the morning of the surgery to relax me. He did a wonderful job, its been 6 months since the surgery, can barely see the 2 small scars on my knee and I feel like Im getting better everyday. He is very sincere and tells you the facts. I would definitely go see him again if I ever need to. His staff do a great job dealing with workers comp. He also writes very detailed diagnosis to the Workers Comp people, surprisingly mine was so detailed that the Admin had no choice but to approve surgery without getting a second opinion.

I have had both of my knees worked on by the Orthopedic Clinic of Central Virginia and my knees are feeling great. When you first get there Joann makes you feel at home and knows how insurance companies work to get the treatment paid for by your insurance. Next, Tammy brings you back for your appointment and is able to understand your pains and issues and will make you feel comfortable. Dir Biddulph understands what your issues are and shows you visually the problem and will diagnose and fix them. If you have to have surgery, Dr. Biddulph is relaxed and confident which makes you know he will fix your problem. Thanks OCCV.

My surgery with Dr. Biddulph was on September 20, 2016. I was very nervous leading up to the surgery in that I was not sure anyone would believe me about the pain as it was intermittent. I felt most people would just assume because I am very overweight that this was the cause. Dr. Biddulph and his team took me very seriously, scheduled and MRI and carefully explained the results and the options that I had. Based upon the pain level, we decided that surgery was the best option. Once again Dr. Biddulph and his staff were great leading up to the surgery.I am so impressed with the work that Dr. Biddulph did during the surgery. My knee felt immediate relief afterwards and once again his staff was right there to make sure that all my concerns were addressed. My other knee as the same issue, albeit to a lesser extent and I am already planning the next surgery and the only one that I want doing that surgery is Dr. Biddulph.
