The new clinic is clean and very nice; however, the customer service leaves much to be desired. I had called and asked to have my pcm put in a refill for a prescription. I received a phone call three weeks later basically demanding to set an appointment on a certain day and time within a few days without even asking if that would work. I told the person I was on a business meeting and would have to call her back and she just kept talking over me. I finally told her I had to go and would call her back to schedule. I called back right after my meeting (within 20 minutes) and spoke to someone else who told me that an appointment had been made for me without my knowledge or permission and then when I told her that would not work she told me that the appointment options given by the previous person (in person, telephonic, video) were not available. I was finally able to get her to set me an appointment that actually worked for my schedule (as they wanted it within a week of them calling me which is ridiculous if you have to give notice to an employer). I was then told I would have to get lab work done prior to my appointment. I asked what time the lab opened and was told 0630. I specifically confirmed this twice and told her that I had to be at work at my new job by 0730. I went to the new location this morning and was told the lab does not open until 0700. How frustrating!!! Those making appointments and providing customer service really need to know the hours for the location they are making appointments for. There was an elderly man that came in after me and the person at the desk was rude in how she spoke to him as well. The only part of the visit that did not disappoint was the phlebotomist who was absolutely fantastic!!

Horrible customer service! I spent 3 weeks attempting to reach the Spotsylvania office only to be constantly rerouted to Richmond because Spotsylvania doesnt answer their phone. Upon finally receiving a call back, the woman that called was extremely rude and dismissive from the beginning of the conversation. After she scheduled me an appointment for 4 months from now when I was originally supposed to have one last week but it was canceled on me last minute, she didnt even confirm the appointment worked for me. Then without even giving me a second to ask a question, she hung up on me. Now Im back to being rerouted to the Richmond line. Great way to treat your veterans Spotsylvania VA! Simply sickening!

I love this location. My son finally received the help he needed. Washington DC location, awful ☹️. My son will never go there again. We found a new location that finally cares about their Veterans. They deserved to be treated with respect and dignity. They sacrifice so much for us. Kudos to this location. Excellent service 10+

The doctors and nurses that work for the VA have always provided the best care possible, but the VA system as a whole is hot steaming trash. You will wait several weeks for specialty care. Scheduling anything is a nightmare. There is absolutely no accountability.

Have never had an issue with any va service that I have had.

Ive been here over an hour waiting to get labs done. I asked the front desk about the wait. I was told there were several people in front of me. However I got there when it opened and there was only three people in front of me. Then the front desk comes out a few minutes later and said the printer was down and they didnt know what order everyone came in. Who was next? Is this is the competence we can expect from this clinic? Maybe there is a reason you cant get into the other clinic.

I have always been highly satisfied with my interactions with this VA clinic. The staff is always friendly and helpful .

They were ready for me before I could finish getting checked in, and I was almost 40 minutes early! The staff (medical and administrative) were helpful and friendly.

....So pleased. Reception desk very professional, efficient. Patient nurse, Maria, simply great. Im in process of transferring from Fburg South Clinic to Fburg North Clinic (closer to my home).I hope the staff there, Fbg-N, is as great as Fbg-S. .....hope they have Marias there. ☺. I’m in the process of moving from Spokane Washington to Culpeper Virginia. I called because I need to refill a single prescription. I was told the only locations I can refill a prescription or either Washington DC, Charlottesville Virginia. In the middle of nowhere is Ville Pennsylvania and northern Idaho there are at least two locations in both states within 30 minutes with a population of 10,000. I find it hard to believe that in Virginia with the millions of people here and military personnel and veterans, that the only two locations I can refill prescriptions are 5 Hour Drive each way?? The person who answered the phone was very rude and then kept repeating the same information instead of answering my question as far as how can I obtain my prescription and what’s the closest location. And then placed me on hold for another 10 minutes and since I still held on they finally came back and told me the same thing again. Shaking my head.

Terrible place and terrible care. Same with the Richmond hospital. They seems to only care about certain veterans. They make me want to give up and end it all
