Mary Washingtons hospice team was wonderful to my father. The nurses were friendly, understanding, and patient. They made it seem like my dad was their only patient, thats how focused and knowledgeable they were about my fathers condition. In his last days, he was tremendously comforted by knowing each member of the team. The team also arranged to have my father, a U.S. Navy veteran, presented with a pin and certificate of appreciation for his service, which he enjoyed. Additionally, each member of the team reached out to us personally after his funeral services to say goodbye or well wishes in some way. The social worker Moira has called to check in on us since his passing, and bereavement services are offered for over a year after. Carol and Bernie were wonderful nurses, and Randy was a wonderful spiritual support. The team seemed to always be in communication with one another. The one caveat was that it took a few days longer than expected for the equipment to get picked up. However, when the equipment was needed, they were at the house to provide the equipment almost immediately (same day service). Given the speediness of delivery, I think should offset any minor issue with pickup.

Was hired for hospice care of a friends mother. They have been very cold, matter of fact and rude at times. Very poor communication regarding care, not very responsive and dismissive at times. Took 4 phone calls and 12 hours to show up for an emergency after threatening to report them. Created more stress for the family in these hard times. Would not hire. Two stars only because one person wasn’t so bad.

Our sister was placed in hospice care and they were so caring. Her nurse Carol went the extra mile for our family.

So far Iv only experience very pleasant people dealing with my mothers Hospice care. It has been two weeks. But they have taken a big weight off my shoulders. The nurses are ok, but almost everytime I have to call the agency they never call back. Ive had a wound vac on for 5 days without them changing it. I called them and they never called back........hope for their sake the wound dont get infected.

They were So nice....

My mother passed away in July and the oxygen tank has yet to be picked up. I have called several times and im still waiting for it to be picked up.VERY BAD SERVICES

If you have a legitimate complaint they will drop you and leave you searching around for a new agency instead of working with you to solve the problem. That is no way to treat patients in need. BEWARE!
