My experience here was terrible. Hishani Perera NP was very dismissive!! When you come to a doctors office the patient is ultimately vulnerable and wants to feel heard/understood. I felt the the complete opposite it was so bad that I literally had to walk out!! She didn’t have a answer for anything I said but “you’re fine, you are completely healthy” That’s easy to say when you DON’T know what you are doing. I will make sure this gets escalated because no one should feel how I did in this doctors office!!

It is not pleasant to deal with the office staff nor the doctors. Stay away from their office and pick a different primary care personnel

The staff is super nice every time I go even when I know very well I’m being kinda difficult. Last night I made a super late minute appointment and Katherine (don’t know her last name) was super helpful and quick to get what I need. I will be coming her again when I have another minor medical issue.

This review is for the Mary Washington primary care in Fredericksburg Virginia (12006 Killarney dr). My mother was a patient of one of the doctors for many years and since the switch has been changed to another doctor as her doctor retired. The issue she experienced was with the patient coordinator, Deena or Dina. The woman was incredibly rude to both of my parents and spoke in a condescending tone. When my parents were raising the issues about the new practice and asked if they were losing a lot of patience she responded “it doesn’t matter. We have plenty more to take their spot” wow… really? She also would not provide her last name. This woman does not belong in healthcare, especially not as a patient coordinator. I am working to elevate this further through my connections in healthcare, because the complete story was unreal. A patient in the waiting room was shaking her head shocked at the way this coordinator was treating my elderly parents. The woman needs some serious training and should not be a “patient coordinator”.

So I had a bit of a mixed-bag experience, the nurse practitioner I saw was very dismissive of my mental health issues and came off a bit judgmental about other health issues of mine. On the other hand, she spent nearly two hours with me, longer than Ive ever spent with any health professional, she was extremely thorough and clearly meant well. I definitely have faith in her ability to diagnose physical health ailments, I just hope she doesnt push ayurvedic hoodoo when I come in with a staph infection. Overall though pretty nice and definitely not rushed, if youre the kind of person who doesnt like taking medicine youll probably love this lady, and she really did take her time so that was nice.

As always, I receive a thorough examination and accurate diagnosis combined with compassionate and knowledgeable treatment. Will never leave this practice as it is professional and personal each and every time. I trust the doctor, nurses and office staff to afford me the best care possible.

My experience has been pretty scary with this organization. One doctor yelled at me then told me to stop taking all the medication prescribed by one of their own associates. I was berated for not seeing a primary care doctor who had moved too far away for me to drive. Another doctor was too shocked when he entered the room noting we were an interracial couple; it was all over his face. Then throughout the interview he would ask me a question, cut me off, and ask my husband the same question about me. He did nothing to secure my confidence in him as well as his associate I’d seen before. After a year with the one primary care and two visits with two other associates this is not a place for me. I’ll find a good and caring primary doctor out there some where.

I was with this office for 17 years; then the new PA was ‘too scared’ to write Rx for blood pressure or BC. Being forced to find a new provider after decades with one office was extremely annoying. Especially with no way to maintain Rx while waiting to get in to a new provider. This office has gone downhill and I am very disappointed in their new PA and the choices they are making. Office ladies and support staff 5 stars.
