One of the worst experiences at a medical office I have ever had, the apt. with the O.D.s was awesome! However the optician that we were assigned to greeted us by telling us she was new and to please be patient. I am 1000% okay with being new and slower, we were all new at one point, however this optician was incipient and not ready to be on her own, not new. We finished our extremely slow and awkward ordering processes with her and returned two weeks later to hoping that we would not see her again, unfortunately it was her and during our fitting she was unable to get my glasses to fit correctly and then informed me again Im a bit new and you will need to go to our rt. 3 location where a more experienced optician can assist you I will call them and let them know you are coming. While I was shocked and frustrated that this was happening, I must give her credit for knowing her limits and asking for help when it was needed. After 30 min battling the wonderful traffic on 95 and route 3 to get to the rt. 3 location I arrived and told them I was sent by the Spotsy. location to only be greeted with blank looks of disbelief and told it would be about an hour before a optician was available. After waiting about 90 min I was assisted be an amazing optician who fixed my glasses in less then 3 min. while chatting with us.In summery I could have bought the same glasses online for 1/3 the price I knew this but wanted to buy local to have that extra level of service. What did I get for this? A 1/2 day tour of your waiting rooms, and exhibits of gross incompetence of your opticians abilities to communicate and fit glasses.

I had a wonderful experience with the staff and doctor. Everyone was polite and answered all my questions. Dr. Angela Santinga was very thorough and provided me with a solution to a problem I was having with my eyes. Great experience at the Access Eye Center in Spotsylvania. Dr. Thompson was wonderful, took her time and didnt try to get me to get more than I needed. They were very helpful in helping me choose the right glasses. I will go back and would highly recommend them.

I thought I had an eyelid problem, but thanks to Dr. Thompson, it is something else and I have medicine to take care of it. Great visit. Office staff, medical staff, all wonderful. I loved how friendly everyone was and Dr. Thompson explained everything about my son’s eyes. Even my son enjoyed his visit. Definitely sticking with them!

They scheduled me for 3 different appointments than told me they no longer take my insurance. Never walk through their doors again.

We have been going to Dr. Santinga close to 15 years and we LOVE it there. Liz at the front desk has always been so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this office.

The staff is VERY friendly and VERY knowledgeable. The doctor answered all questions I had and was super sweet. Also everything was nice and clean. The computer was down and they still carried on about their work and maintained an excellent level of professionalism. This is definitely one of the better eye doctor locations I’ve been too. I will certainly refer people to this location.

I’ve been going to Access Eyes over 20 years for glasses and surgery and I can sum up every visit as Excellent.

The Facility was very clean and tidy.The Staff from front desk, Eye wear(Ms. Tanisha) to Med Asst to the Eye Dr were all great. Well mannered professional and non judgemental or condescending. It actually was a pleasant experience I am glad I chose this location ☺

Dr. was great but since they were delayed the glasses tech left for lunch so I was unable to even order glasses after my appointment. If the office is delayed someone should stay there to help the customers with their full appointment. Went back to order glasses and they were unable to get the Ray-Ban frames I would like but said they do carry one in a blue color but was unable to show me what color blue it was and directed me to go to the access EYe in Stafford Virginia which is 40 minutes away for more options. Overall very poor customer service after they see you for an exam.Highly recommend going across the parkway to mary Washington eye care. They were so personable and really wanted to help me find the best pair of glasses.

Our experience with Access Eye was excellent! Weve been patients with this practice for several years and have never been unhappy with our treatment. They have done an excellent job of making us feel safe and well-cared for. Dr. Santinga is professional, thorough, friendly and caring as are all the staff at this location.

My experience has been great over the years at Access Eye. They are honest and reliable. I went in and was able to order everything I needed for eye care in one appointment. My optometrist is very caring and discusses the health of my eyes with me. The young lady that orders the glasses is very professional, she makes sure that I know when my glasses are expected back and finishes with me individually without leaving me stranded to talk to other customers. The receptionist is always patient and does everything to make sure your billing is processed correctly. The office is in the vicinity of my home too, this makes it easy for me opposed to going up to busy Rt.3 offices. The office has a lot of parking and nice waiting area. Awesome staff! My daughter is scared of storms and when the wind started blowing really hard at our last appointment , without us even having to ask, Marissa led us to a room to wait instead of the waiting room so that she would be more comfortable. Marissa and Bailey and the Dr (unfortunately I don’t remember her name) were all awesome!! We will travel the extra distance to this office in the future.

Outside the current Covid-19 situation, I believe that I could have given a rating closer to 5 stars. I for one did not like that you had to (Due the current policy) wait in your vehicle until you are called back. Otherwise I feel that things went well. I have been a patient with Access for many years. I will continue; and would recommend them to others.

What a GREAT location and what a GREAT staff!!! Its been a few years since my last eye exam and I had some concerns with my eyes, other then I knowing my vision is getting worse. I asked my questions to the doctor, who was GREAT as well, and she had no problem answering them and making me feel at ease. Just an amazing experience!

Ive previously taken just my oldest here twice prior to this time. I was able to schedule 3 appointments back to back for my three children quite quickly. I was very happy they had an opening so soon. I had made calls to other eye doctors, but all of them were booked further out for multiple appointments. The doctor was excellent with all my kids. As were the rest of the staff we came into contact. The gentleman that helps with the prescription ordering was very informative and helpful. Overall great experience.

Visited the Cosner Corner location on Saturday— without an appointment— seeking help for an eye injury. Front desk staff was caring and after checking quickly assured me that I could wait to be seen by the doctor. After a short wait I was examined by Dr. Angela Santinga who was very kind, knowledgeable and patient. Medication was prescribed, my eye is improving and I’m so grateful for their help. The close proximity to my home is so convenient. I highly recommend this office.

All of the staff were helpful ,professional, and welcoming, despite the restrictions of COVID. Dr. Santinga was wonderful and discovered a minor but troublesome issue with my eye.

Great place. Clean and friendly. They were running an hour behind the day of my appointment but it was no issue to wait and they got me back and taken care of rather quickly. I had to bring my two toddlers along and they were so welcoming to them and didn’t mind that they were there. It was a great experience and I will return!

Absolutely a great staff. Dr. Santinga, Taneisha, Tina and Liz Harley went above and beyond and were wonderful. They all provided excellent customer service and provided very helpful information. I would recommend Access Eye to others.

This area practiced social distancing as much as they could especially in the front area. The receptionist put me in a room by myself so I wouldn’t have to sit less than 6 feet apart from others in the waiting room. While during the exams, the doctors and patients used masks. They were also able to reschedule my first appointment within a week. I would like this area to have a bigger selection of eyeglasses though.

Ive been using this provider at this location for a few years now and each visit is exceptional. The optometrist is awesome. Quick, thorough and friendly and able to answer all my questions. The staff is professional, playful and really enjoyable to be around. You will not be disappointed with this location.

I had a concern with my left eye,that was red and had a yellow discharge. I called at 11 am asked if I could be seen,they said sure at 1145. I was seen and had a foreign object removed most likely a long hair. I immediately felt better and relieved. I have been a patient at Access eye for many years. I have always been treated graciously by all the staff and providers. I would Highly recommend this practice from a routine eye exams to Any vision concerns you may have. They really care about you and your eyes. Yes they really do. I know first hand.

We went there for eye exams. Very thorough. My situation was more complicated than expected and the Dr. went so far as to contact the out of state office where I had my last exam and the out of state retail provider of my last pair of glasses. Very professional front desk and medical assistant as well.

Everyone of the people that are in that office were very respectful, nice and seemed to care about how comfortable we were. I always feel good going into that office for my eye checks. A big thank you to all of them.

I Dont know what the heck was wrong with everybody yesterday. I Was expecting to see bad reviews because no one but the Doctor was not happy at all. All three ladys seemed as if maybe they just had a big fight and I walked in the middle of them fighting but had to stop because I came in. I have PTSD so this atmosphere was really BAD for me. I almost walked out but my therapy I had with me made me stick to it. I will not return there. People in customer service really should look up the meaning. Thank goodness the Doctor was perfect so I did get to relax with her so thank you!!!!!

Amazing service and patience at front desk, Dr Halepaska is the absolute best! We came here to this location just for her, even though our insurance didn’t cover the visit.Our son was examined 2 months ago by a different eye doctor (and facility) , who rushed us, was rude and wrote out wrong Prescription for glasses. When I brought him back to the same eye doc, she was rude, and was yelling at my child because she didn’t believe there was a mistake in her part.We had gone to Doctor Halepaska the prior year, but she was no longer at that office. When we found out that she was with Access Eye... we went there specifically for her. She found the problem with the last exam and glasses prescription.Was pleasantly surprised at how accommodating the office personnel was, as well as the person, Colten, who set up my son, for the Eye Doctor. The facility was clean and there was no waiting time before we were called in.Thank God it’s open enrollment season because we are switching our eye insurance so it will be covered at this facility next year.Dr Kendra Halepaska and the entire Access Eye team We’re incredible!

A good experience. Only complaint is that even after paying for an exam and buying a years supply of contacts from them -- which was supposed to be overnighted but still hasnt arrived five days later -- they couldnt give me a single pair to hold me over. IveI never left an eye exam without contacts in the 25 years Ive been wearing them. I cant imagine they dont get free ones from the contact companies. I probably wont go back for this reason.

I have been a patient of Access Eyes for about 20 years. The staff have always been pleasant and professional. This past year, Dr. Santinga told me I should schedule an appointment to be evaluated for cataracts. Dr. Monsouri and his staff were all very dedicated to providing me with quality care and patiently went over all of my options. Some of them were more expensive than others, and I finally made the decision to get the crystal lens in each eye. The procedures would be done one eye at a time with several months in between. While this type of lens meant that I would have a fairly high out-of-pocket expense, I am so glad I went with this option. This treatment allowed for one enhancement or touch up to be done on each eye. I went back today for my final check-up. My vision was 20-20 in one eye and 20-25 in the other with absolutely no correction. My eyes were not healthy and with the exception of one short time period (from lasik eye surgery someplace else where I paid for lifetime touch-ups only to be told my eyes werent healthy enough to do a touch-up) I have worn glasses since third grade. To know that I am able to see with this much clarity is truly a blessing. The out-of-pocket I paid now vs the cost of glasses each year - it was well worth it. Thank you, Dr. Monsouri, for your patience and excellent knowledge and care.
