Great visit to the Pinnacle Dermatology Center in Fredericksburg, VA. Checked in immediately and taken to the exam room. I had my yearly total skin check and was very glad to meet Dr. Patterson. I have always seen a Physicians Assistant but since Pinnacle took over the practice, I got an exam from the Dr. Very thorough and friendly. One quick freeze of a suspicious spot and I was in and out in 30 minutes. Thanks!

This has been my fourth visit with each one being very detail oriented with a friendly staff. Appts have been on time and everyone has taken the time to answer all of my questions. Would recommend to anyone looking for a dermatologist.

Happy with my experience with this dermatologist. There was a bit of a wait, but I was kept informed and it wasn’t more than 20 or 30 minutes. Dr. Patterson was very personable, efficient, and professional. He is very thorough and really does a complete exam of the skin. Very confident that I am in good hands at this practice.

First I must say the doctors and staff are friendly. My problem deals with the billing and appointments. This practice has become a corporate money machine. Once you leave the office its out of their hands and into a company in Chicago that does their billing. Ive keep getting bills every month since my last visit in April that have continually gone up. I was called in July to set up a payment plan that I already had done and made 2 payments and she informs me the bill was now $200.00 more .After going through everything with her she tells me it was a mistake. The following week I get a bill including the 200 she said was a mistake. It is Sept and the last invoice once again is more than the previous one . My last visit was in April! I spoke once again to someone from billing this month after making $200 in payments the bill only reflect 144.54 applied. He could not understand that and kept putting me on hold and then giving me an answer that was wrong we would discuss his logic and back on hold we go. This progressed a few more times until he couldnt answer where my money was applied. He had record of all the payments but couldnt tell me how it was applied to my bill! Also when calling a billing agent why is there a number to hit if you are a attorney?? Buyer beware!!! I believe Ill have my attorney press 4 when calling next time!!!

They are very efficient as they get you checked in and assigned to a room. The Doctor is prompt and business-like but personable. He completes his exam and send you on your way. I was in for my 6 month check, and walked out 30 minutes later. Very efficient!

I arrived for my appointment 30 minutes early. Yet I had absolutely no wait time. The staff, both medical and admin, was helpful, professional and pleasant. They exuded a positive and cheerful attitude. It was by far the best medical experience I ever had.

This is by far the best dermatologist I have been to... The staff are VERY nice and know what they are doing. I called last week to schedule for a suspicious mole I would and there were able to get me an appointment in the office in less than a week to get it removed! Even though they were very busy when I arrived for my appointment, the still we able to see me quickly and efficiently. The two nurses that completed my exam and mole removal were phenomenal and made me feel as comfortable as possible. I would 10/10 recommend them to anyone that lived in the Spotsylvainia/Fredericksburg area.

Absolutely amazing!! Everyone was so so so nice and professional. This was my first visit. I was coming to have two areas evaluated and was feeling kind of nervous. The minute I walked in I was greeted by a friendly and welcoming office staff member. I was sent new patient paperwork days before my visit and was able to print and complete at my leisure which was great. My wait was a little over 30 minutes but when I met my provider, Jalal H. Alghabra, he was so very apologetic. He immediately made me feel at ease. The visit went well and all my issues were evaluated and addressed to my satisfaction. Would highly recommend this clinic and my provider.

The ladies at the front desk answered all of my questions and did not make me feel rushed even though they had a lot to do. They were friendly and courteous the entire visit.The doctor was professional and I felt better having a female nurse present during the examination of my rash. They were very easy to speak with and I did not feel uncomfortable at all even though I had to show and talk about the rashes all over my body. This was a great experience for me and I would recommend this doctor’s office to anyone who needs to be seen in the future.

My husband and I have been patients of this practice for the past few years. We are very pleased with the care and attention we have received, including the office staff, nurses, physicians assistant, and the physicians. Exam, whether total body skin check or problem focused, was done thoroughly. Treatment was administered. If needed, biopsy results were given in a day or two. On three occasions my husband needed Mohs surgery, which was performed in the office. The surgery and follow up visits were very well organized, with the health and comfort of the patient of first importance.

Today was my first visit to this office. I have friends that recommended me and spoke very highly of the practice. I was very happy with all of the staff and I really liked Dr. Patterson‘s professionalism and down to earth demeanor.

I came to the office for a skin cancer screening and to have some skin tags looked at. The staff seem nice and competent. My biggest complaint is the wait. It was about 45 minutes after my appointment time that I was called back. I missed an appointment I had somewhere else because of the time I spent here (1.5 hours), which I wasn’t happy about.The staff did apologize and Dr. Patterson got me to the front of the checkout line so I could get out quickly.

My teenage daughter and I had a horrible experience here. What started out great and promising turned into a heartbreaking and confusing time. My daughter was given medication that turned her overall mild acne into a full breakout unlike ever before. (Understandably, medicines can do this and the right medicines need to be found with time...so sometimes it is trial and error...as everyones skin is different.) But when things went wrong and she broke out in a bad way, we were left high and dry and felt alone. There was no real compassion and we were treated as if we were a headache to deal with when we showed up for (hard to get) appointments. These were some difficult months while my daughter was a patient here (beginning to mid 2021) and there was a lot of stress because of this. *All of the above is, of course, our opinion and from our viewpoint. I feel it is important that our opinion/viewpoint be shared. I did not list the name of the dermatologist and the associating assistant; Pinnacle can research this and go from there based on our last name. (I will add that my daughter is no longer a patient here. We found a new dermatologist, at a different office, who is actually invested in her wellbeing and skin success. Thankfully, things are much better now!)

I was referred to Pinnacle Dermatology for MOHS surgery on my face. I was greeted quickly as I entered the reception area, and was assisted by friendly and knowledgeable receptionists. My procedure started on time. Dr. Eid performed the surgery with skilled hands, explaining things as we went along. The assistants during the procedure were professional and reassuring, as my treatment was rather lengthy due to the area on my face being cared for. Overall I had a good experience and would highly recommend this center.

When we moved to Fredericksburg a few years ago I googled to find a dermatology group. This is the first one I found and have not been disappointed. The front office staff has been welcoming and efficient. Dr. Jalal is wonderful, knowledgeable and personable. He explains every step of the exam and is very open to questions. We feel very satisfied with this practice and Dr. Jalal in particular.

The doctor’s themselves were great, however I have never felt so offended by making an appointment with a receptionist in my life! I don’t know if she was having a bad day and I wish that I would have asked for her name, but she sounded irritated and annoyed with me throughout the entire call.I remained kind and positive and gave her the information that was requested. This was my second appointment, so I asked if she had my medical ID number on file and she replied with a sharp, “NO! That is why i am asking for it” I stayed calm and didn’t respond to her anger. She gave me short quick one word answers and they when we finished booking the appointment, she just said “Bye “ and immediately hung! Can the office please do something about this? I am quite upset at how I was handled. I would never treat a person, let alone a customer this way, especially when I was being nice to her on top of it!

Dr. Michelle Roe is a great Doctor. She is gentle, nice to talk to, and does a great job. If your looking for a dermatologist i highly recommend.

My 87 year old grandmother had an appointment today 09/09/21. Her appointment was at 11:30, she arrived early and checked in. At noon she went to the desk to see when she might be seen, she was told there was an issue this morning and it would be a little bit longer. My grandmother went back up to the desk at 12:30 at which time she was told she would not be seen for another 30 minutes at minimum. Today’s appointment was her year check up for melanoma she had removed. She had to leave and will be seeing another dermatologist. I would have preferred transparency and an option to reschedule versus covering up an error on the office personnel’s part. Appalled by the service their patients receive.

Dr.Jalal is the best PA and has been treating my acne and HS for two years now. I refuse to see anyone else. My condition can be embarrassing and he makes me feel comfortable and important. He always does what’s right for the patient!

Easy to make an appointment, (be patient, chances are they cant get you in right away, very common with dermatologists), great communication, super efficient. Ive been a patient for 3 years, Ive visited the Fredbg & Stafford locations and have been pleased with every visit. I received prompt communication as VA Derm became Pinnacle - emails, texts, phone calls, timely reminders about my visit and easy ways to change or cancel my appointment if necessary. I arrived at 330p for my appointment, I was checked in and given paperwork to update my file and was whisked away to the exam room. The nurses are friendly and professional. By 4p I had seen my doctor - no rush, she asked questions, super friendly and seemed genuinely interested in my concerns, had a quick mole removal (not scheduled as this was my yearly skin check) and was out of the office and in my car heading home by 410p. This location runs like a well oiled machine.

I have for a long time firmly resolved never to see a PA when I an MD is available. Dr. Patterson was heads and shoulders above the very adequate PA Id been seeing. His equipment was in better condition (didnt spray nitrogen laterally). His technique in administering the nitro was more more focused and controlled. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Personable, professional, knowledgeable...I get light headed when I have procedures done. Dr Patterson kept me at ease and he kept our conversation going, effortlessly, and kept my mind off the removal of cancerous spot. I never got light headed at all, which is a first. My physician’s assistant even stopped in to check on me when it was over. I highly recommend!!

I see Jalal and he has done a couple of excisions. He has a tremendous personality and his expertise is fabulous. He provides a ‘no stress’ experience and I would recommend him to anyone.

Went for a simple mole removal and had it done during the first appointment! PA Alghabra was very kind and did a great job. I actually started to pass out during the procedure, and he and his assistant were very helpful and accommodating. They brought me water and allowed me to wait until I felt ready to get up before leaving. Would recommend :)

Basal carcinoma Mohs surgery Oct 3 2020. Located just beneath my eye. I wasn’t given the option of sedation or anesthesia. Neither a plastic consult. I metabolized the local anesthetic very quickly. Left lying in a room alone in excruciating pain. I had to get up and find help for more local anesthetic several times. Ending the procedure, I was left to walk out of the facility again alone. By all means someone could’ve helped me to the car. Discharged with zero pain medication. The practice then switched to Pinnacle. They did not call or send a reminder for a follow up visit. I have a balance of 39.16. I’ve called repeatedly to make this payment. Pinnacle cannot accept this payment. I was given a number to call. There is no answer and no return phone calls with repeated messages left. Overall, I would not recommend this practice

I will just never understand why a doctor thinks his time is more valuable than my time and how being almost an hour late for an appointment doesn’t even warrant a passing comment much less an apology? I could understand it if you were delivering babies or something. But why bother making appointments when you are just going to see me whenever you are good and ready and I’ll just have to sit and wait like all your other patients? It’s just rude. Condescending. And infuriating.

I made appointment for my husband and receptionist was very nice on the phone. My husband was very happy after his first appointment with PA Alghabra. He did perfect job and removed all cyst during this appointment. All our family relieved. Thank you!

Reception team was polite and efficient, the screening with Amanda (fellow Justice League geek) warm and fun, and PA Michelle Rhoe was caring, polite, and thorough. Had to get a couple of biopsies and the procedure was a breeze. First rate operation in my view!

INCREDIBLE! I accidentally scraped my toe with their door walking in and the ladies at the front were so kind and even got me a bandaid. Best doctors experience I think I have ever had...truly! I barely waited 5 mins. before I was called back and Dr. came in just a few mins. after I spoke to nurse about why I was there - normally I wait forever for doctors to come in!! Dr. Jalal was AMAZING - professional, kind, understanding, knowledgable, and helpful! He even gave me his personal cell phone number if I needed to reach him quickly!! I would not give this facility or its parent company, Pinnacle Dermatology, one star but Google requires it. My first appointment was a disaster. The staff at the front desk and the assistants with my doctor were rude and very unprofessional. I had to go back for a different issue. On the first call, the scheduler eventually told me the system was down and she would call me back when it was up again. I waited and that did not happen. I call later that day, during the call the scheduler puts me on hold and hangs up on me. I called again, the scheduler puts me on hold and then hangs up on me. I called a third time and the scheduler informs me that I need an new referral from my doctor because the doctor who is listed on the referral no longer works in Virginia. Thus requiring me to get a new referral,. I am recommending that TRICARE drop this provider.

I saw a wonderful young lady today that unfortunately is leaving the practice ! She was very thorough sweet and personable and did a wonderful job at checking on me. The check in was easy and I didn’t have to wait in a room. Very professional!
