This is my fourth time to seeCarol, she is great!I took my daughter last time for a hair cut. We were both very pleased with hair cuts and color. We already have our follow up appointment and recommend Carol to our family and friends.

I have been going to Carol for the past year, and I have to say I have never been more pleased with my hair. I get compliments almost every week because of her professional styling abilities. She is also always accommodating on scheduling and any special requests. I have never met a harder worker and I really wish she would slow down for her own health and well being. Please know that I could never fully explain how she cares about her customers and their needs as she treats each and every one as an important client. Ive been going to Carol for over six years, and she is one of the best colorists in Fredericksburg. Ive tried others only to come back to Carol. If you can show her a picture or tell her what you want clearly, she can deliver! She seems especially good at cutting mens hair and can cut so many different styles successfully. She has many repeat customers and is on a first name basis with many of the folks who come in. Getting enough staff seems to be a problem for the salon, the same as so many places these days. But if you can be a little patient, you will be rewarded with a great haircut, or color at a very reasonable price.

Carol Smith has been cutting and coloring my hair for about 5 years and she is very good at it, especially color! She has loyal clients who, like me, have followed her. She manages the salon as well which is quite challenging in this time of shortages, but she handles it well. I highly recommend her!

My first time coloring my hair and I loved it, was nervous at first but aren’t we all when we do something new? I will definitely come back to re do my hair, Carol was amazing!!! So friendly, sweet and a very hard worker. Thank you!!

I’m not understanding all these ugly reviews that have been left. I went to smart styles today and was seen by Shelby. SHE IS AMAZING. ! Very friendly and told me everything she was doing to my hair. What products she put in my hair. Made sure I was satisfied with the length and cut before I left there. I would absolutely recommend Shelby from smart styles. !

The lady working was extremely rude and my husbands hair looks like a 3 year old did it very terrible job how hard is it to do a simple mans hair cut ?? I would not recommend to anyone !!! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

Be ready to wait 30mins to 1hr. Sign in and walk Wal-Mart until they are ready for you and There are a couple of chairs behind the center wall you must ask if you can wait there. Sometimes yes you can wait and sometimes the answer is no.

Horrible attitude can not do the simplest mens haircut never again will I step foot in this place have never been chopped up so bad looks like I let a 2 year old cut my hair my suggestion is wait would have rather looked like a homless person than this hack Job will be shaving entire head soon as I get home

A tall, thin, older women cut my hair. I asked to get my ends trimmed as I am growing out my hair. I get home only to realize the hair on the right side is three inches longer than the left. I go back to get my hair fixed. Why I let her cut my hair after she messed up the first time, I don’t know. When I returned the second time, she claims it looks fine. But when my hair is down, people ask if “I tried to cut my own hair in the dark” At this point I have had about 8 inches cut off and it looks like I will need another 3-4 inches removed to even out my hair. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Good hair cuts.

The hours posted on website are wrong and clearly they make their own hours. I called at 5:30 and 5:45 no answer and no recording. Arrived at location 5 minutes until 6pm (after loading up an infant, toddler and pre-teen) and they were locked up and closed! A common courtesy would have been to stay open until hours posted at the store which now says 6pm and have a recording with the correct hours of business.

I went in late and Carol still did my hair and was really sweet and helpful. I was undercharged if anything. I will be going back ( :

We had an absolutely terrible experience here with very rude employee. I guess I should have read the reviews before we went in. We will never go back to this business again.

So I went to get my hair cut I came in a older Spanish lady was very snippy and she had me sit in her chair not only did I show her a picture but I told her where to cut carol another stylest could tell I was unhappy the poor woman’s hands were shaky while cutting my hair completely wasn’t satisfied I went shopping almost in tears as I finished shopping carol say me and motioned me to come back she recut my hair perfect I wanted to hug her this was no charge to me moral of my story only see carol she has good taste and is spot on
