The team at Dr. Buzzs is absolutely incredible. I had a lot of anxiety about this visit as Audrey (almost 3) definitely struggles to brush well on her own and stresses about doc visits. Mariah was so incredible with her, and Audrey did great! I would truly recommend them to anyone, especially if your little one is nervous at doctors.

I took my daughter here for her first ever dentist appointment. From the second we walked in, we were greeted by super friendly and warm people. From the front desk, to the hygienists and Dr. Buzz- all were so kind and welcoming. The office was kid friendly with a train that goes around the office, cartoons on the TV, and the hygienist even took the time to show and demonstrate the cleaning tools for my daughter to help her be more comfortable. Afterwards, she got the cutest build-a-bear to take home. She was just so proud of it. I really can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. Thank you for making her first dentist appointment so easy- she already can’t wait to go back.

The staff at Pediatric Dental Care truly cares for our kids! They call to let us know if they have openings before our appointments to get us in earlier and treat the kids and parents professionally while having fun! My kids LOVE this dentist and so do I!

I was so impressed by the professionalism and patience of Dr. Buzz and his incredible staff during our recent visit for my 8 year olds baby-tooth extraction. My daughter was inconsolably anxious about the procedure, but it was not optional, especially after we delayed it for several months. I did everything in my parenting power to calm/comfort her, but was unsuccessful and ready to leave the office with a less ideal Plan B (for sedation at a later appointment). BUT the staff did not give up! They were encouraging, extremely patient, and empowered her to finally make her own decision to proceed with the extraction that day. It was AMAZING. I recommend Dr. Buzz and his crew to anyone with children who have anxiety about dental visits. Ive been taking all of my children to this office for a few years, and Im very happy with our experiences and our overall oral health.

Moved to this practice from another Franklin Practice. I have enjoyed Dr Buzz and his staff. My kids love the trains going through the office and the coin they get to spend at the end of the appointment in the coin machine full of toys. The previous practice I used felt like the dental hygienists were fairly young and maybe did not have as much child experience as you would hope in a pediatric office. That does not seem to be the case at Dr Buzzs office. The front desk staff is always very kind and accommodating as well. At the end of their first appointment, each of my children received a BuildABear teddy bear with a Dr Buzz tshirt on. This seemed over the top, but I think it helped them associate going to the dentist with a positive experience.

Took my son in for his very first dental appointment (14 months old) and from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left, everyone was so nice. The hygienists, front desk, and doctors made his first experience great. Will definitely be coming back!

I brought my three grandchildren into the office this morning with the wrong insurance card and information. After extensive calling and searching, Missy, at the front desk, helped us with such diligence and patience and love and kindness. We could not have asked for better customer service than what we received this morning. What a blessing this office has with having her as the angel face for greeting people in this office!!! Our kids had their first dental appointment today and after a lot of research we chose Dr. Buzz. From the moment we walked through the doors, it was a bright and happy environment. We were greeted by the kindest lady at the front desk, the staff was so amazing with our kids, they were so calming and thorough for their first teeth cleaning, and sent our kids home with so many sweet goodies (even a build a bear). Recently moved to the area and this practice was recommended by a friend. We had the best experience, from the extremely friendly and helpful staff at the front desk to the hygienist Mandy and Dr. Buzz. They made our kiddos feel very welcome and comfortable and they both said “it was the best”!

I brought my son here for his first dental appointment and it exceeded my expectations. The staff was great- Mandy was wonderful with him, Dr Barnes was so calming, and the staff in the wait room were extremely friendly! We will definitely be staying here!

Dr. Buzz and his staff made going to the dentist a fun and memorable experience! The first thing that strikes you is how nice everyone is! They clearly love working there. Second, the office is clean, fun, and conducive to kids exploring. Also, I was amazed at how quickly they cleaned my kids teeth and talked to them throughout the process, making them laugh throughout. All 3 of my kids were very comfortable, even my 2 year old! Cant say enough good things about this office and we will definitely be clients for a long time.

Great experience with my challenging 5 year old! They were so patient and understanding; I really appreciate them! I would highly recommend them!!!

I was expecting a great experience. Instead, I was very disappointed. The staff was great and the cleaning went well- my son tolerated it and it was relatively textbook- no surprises. My son needed further treatment and we were asked to come back in 45-minutes for the first treatment. My son was extremely well behaved but had difficulty handling some of the instruments because of medical conditions/oral aversion (that were revealed prior to treatment). When my son shared that he was in discomfort the doctor was flippant and gave up on the treatment- my son has a near abscess and so forgoing treatment isn’t optional. So I called his doctor for clearance to take next steps to pursue light sedation- the dentist left and didn’t come back to listen or discuss next steps, referrals, etc. When I finally connected with him - he wasn’t focused on my sons needs. He wrote my son off as needing general surgery and was done with us. He said the abscess could materialize and become severe in days. When I asked for a recommendation to a oral surgeon he gave one (which I did appreciate) but the delivery was accompanied by an attitude of annoyance and apathy. He wasn’t sure the person that he suggested was capable of hospital intervention and didn’t call to make the recommendation or offer to send records- he just moved on. I felt so frustrated and helpless - I had to remove myself to the bathroom to cry. My son has experienced so much medical trauma that a little compassion for our past and his needs would have been much appreciated. Instead I left the office with concerns of an abscessed tooth and no real plan. I understand that dental practices are very busy- I understand the demands- however- time needs to built in for patients that require additional care- like referrals for emergent intervention and a compassionate/professional pass off. Teddy bears and toys don’t make-up for this doctor’s impersonal demeanor. A border line abscess is very serious and we’ve lived through the worst case scenario (sepsis) many times before and understand the timeliness necessarily to address infection. Feeling unsupported brought on PTSD from my previous traumas- I expected more from a pediatric practice that prides itself on valuing each patients needs. There is no worse feeling as a parent than feeling unsupported during times of medical need. The support staff was great and deserves to be complimented.

My 2 year old daughter had her first dental visit today with PDC and we had the best experience!! Everyone was very friendly and the dental team did a great job answering our questions and explaining everything to us. They did an excellent ob keeping my daughter calm and distracted while examining and cleaning her teeth. Would highly recommend!

Today was the fourth time I’ve come to Dr. Buzz‘s office, and as always, we had such a seamless and easy time. My one-year-old and three-year-old have been coming to Dr. Buzz since they got their first teeth, and we have had nothing but positive experiences. It’s not just the child friendly atmosphere, or the cute gifts at the end of the appointment. The professionalism and patience of everyone that works there are outstanding. Everyone has a smile on his or her face, completely understands the uniqueness of each child, and knows how to speak in a calm voice. My son, who is the quintessential “I do it” child is given all the patience he needs, even when taking x-rays of his back molars today. In moments where I would be annoyed, the technician Chelsea was calm and supportive to my son. I recommend Dr. Buzz to all of my friends with children.

I brought my son here to have them assess a problem my son was having. They were able to quickly get us in, which was nice. Everyone in the office was super sweet and warm. The biggest reason I’m leaving this though is to relay how above and beyond Dr. Buzz’s assistant went for us. We had to be referred out to an oral surgeon and she took upon herself to call a referral for us in the office to see if they could see us ASAP. I was so thankful for her because at that point, I was almost in tears out of frustration of trying to get my son out of pain. Amazing office staff and truly cares about their patient and families’ well being.

My experience with my two year old’s first dentist appointment was so amazing!! The staff was super friendly and welcoming! Our hygienist was so good with my son. He was calm and happy and they even gave him a bear at the end! I’ve already told all of my mom friends they have to go here. You can tell the entire staff loves kids and made this mama feel at ease.

Today was my family’s 3rd time to see Dr. Buzz and his staff. 1st time was pre-COVID and so wonderful. Everyone is extremely kind, everything is explained in detail, not just to the parents, but also broken down for the kids in ways that truly make a difference getting them to understand what’s going on and to relax! My oldest has seen Ms. Chelsey 3 times and loves her, my 2 yr old was seen for his first time ever and we had serious anxiety about him being a screamer, but alas, the magic of this place and it’s staff is real! He was calm, cool and collected for his hygienist and Dr. Buzz and the coin for a prize at the end was the cherry on top. Highly recommend!

We took our 13 month old daughter to Pediatric Dental Care for her first dental cleaning ever. All I can say is WOW!!! My husband and I were beyond impressed from the second we stepped in the door until the moment we left!! We were greeted immediately by Melissa with a smiling face and friendly voice. They had fun toys, a movie playing and games in their cute waiting room, which my daughter absolutely loved! When it was time, Dr Buzz’s hygienist, Autumn, took us back with excitement and contagious energy. Dr Buzz was so gently, patient, and kind. He truly cared and listened to our questions and needs. He gave our daughter a precious Build-A-Bear at the end of her visit that she hasn’t been able to put down since! Went for my sons first visit and they were amazing! The hygienist showed my son the tools before using them, let him pick his toothpaste flavor, and were very patient and gentle. I 100% expected my son to freak out but they made him so comfortable that he didn’t whine/cry/whimper once!We also asked to wait outside since the lobby was a bit crowded, they said no problem and gave us a call to come in when it was our turn.Thank you for a great visit and we’ll see them again soon!

He is funny, kind, smart, takes his time to answer all my questions, no matter how many I have. Plus, he doesnt up sale you for additional work NOR does he make out source recommendations if you dont need it. First time mom here with a VERY VOCAL little guy. When I say vocal I mean will scream until he throws up if he doesn’t like something. This is exactly what happened at our first visit 😅. The staff were so understanding and gentle with my bub and didn’t make me feel awful for the scene we created. They were on hand with loads of paper towel, wet wipes and a bag for his soiled clothing. I can not tell you how that made me feel as a mom who has many a stare over the last 2 years. We took our two kids to Dr. Buzz and from the moment we walked in, we were comfortable, welcomed and the kids were not scared! Our oldest is Autistic and having a dental office that is accepting and takes the time to care about that is so important! They were very gentle with our kids, explaining everything as they went. Its hard to get everything written that I want say, but the experience was so positive that I have nothing but praise for this office!

Dont go there unless you are ready to pay full price for the services in case needed. We were referred by my daughters primary care . We got my daughters fillings and as per the estimates paid all the money we supposed to be paying. After couple of months they came back and said Insurance didnt pay because they are not in the approved list of providers as per my plan and its my responsibility to pay full price. I asked them how come they didnt tell us, they are not ready to accept that its their mistake and not ready to even adjust the bill. Stay away from these money minting people...If they did their job properly and check whether the procedures are covered or not, i would have saved lot money.

My 2 1/2 year old saw Dr. Buzz and his staff today for his first ever dental appointment. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From making the appointment all the way to seeing Dr. Buzz himself the entire experience was flawless and enjoyable. I could name so many great things are this office but I will highlight a few that REALLY made a difference. They got my son is quickly and were very flexible and understanding when we had to reschedule and then ran late due to traffic. The office is bright and happy along with every single person we encountered there. The dental hygienist talked my son through every single step of what she was doing so that he wasn’t afraid or weary. Dr. Buzz was so nice and like the hygienist talked through everything he did. I TRULY believe that this first appointment for him set his view on the dentist from here on out and I am SO THANKFUL! He was sad when we left because he didn’t want to leave and I call that a success! Looking forward to our next appointment.

I took my soon to be two year old and he loves it right away! The waiting area has fun toys and cartoons for the little ones and video games for the older kids. The hygienist was amazing! She was great with my boy and he let her clean his teeth and scrape plaque off!!!! Dr. Buzz was awesome! Love the office!

My boys have always loved how they take an interest in them and ask them about how their school, soccer, summer, etc.. are going. We have been using Dr. Buzz for their dental needs now for 10 years. Our hygienist was amazing with my almost 3 year old! Dr. Buzz did a great job of informing me of treatment options available for my daughters cavities. I was allowed to stay with my daughter for the entire visit, which was important to me. While my daughter wasnt 100% cooperative, everything was done in a way that she wasnt the least bit anxious or scared. This staff really does a great job with young children. She absolutely loves the build a bear that they gave her at the end of her visit.

I was very pleased with Dr. Buzzs practice. We got an appointment as a second opinion after visiting another pediatric dentist in Franklin. Theyre quite a bit smaller than some of their local competitors but Dr. Buzz was honest and presented us with several options with regard to treatment. We will continue to patronize this practice from here on.

I am not typically a review writer, but since I got an email requesting one, I decided to go ahead. My daughter had her first visit with Dr. Buzz at the end of January, when we found out that she had a small cavity between her two back molars. We returned this week to have the cavity filled. I have to say that all of the staff I encountered on both visits were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. However, I was a little surprised that there is a basket full of sweets at the front door (as you walk in) and my daughter was offered a SUCKER as a reward on the day we were having her cavity filled! I also had a major problem with the fact that my daughter was given two medications for sedation (including morphine) and we were then taken to the waiting room to wait for it to kick in while everyone in the office attended a staff meeting. If any adverse effects or allergic reactions had occurred (especially since she had never taken either medication before and both were controlled substances), no one was monitoring us. A sign was put up at the front desk that all staff were going into a meeting and would be unavailable, but I was not given instruction on where to find a staff member if anything concerning happened. I found this unprofessional and unsafe. We were also told that someone would be calling to check on my daughter later in the day (after the procedure) to make sure she wasnt having any adverse effects from the medication such as nausea/vomiting, allergic reactions such as hives, etc. This call never occurred. The staff at this office definitely create a warm, welcoming environment for children and I will say that the appointment went smoothly with no medical issues to report. However, there were several aspects of the visit that bothered me as a parent. Because of these issues, I was disappointed with my overall experience at Pediatric Dental Care.

Dr. Buzz and all of his staff were so awesome to work with. My 8yo had to have a root canal and crown and she was referred here by her regular dentist because of their specialty in pediatrics. Everyone took their time to make sure she was comfortable and not scared. She didnt even realize that she had shots and never once complained about being sore the next day. We had a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend them to others.

I absolutely love that Dr Buzz is very conservative and always helps me, as a parent, to be proactive in trying to keep those sugar bugs away from my sweet boys! I can honestly say we get excited when it’s time to go to the dentist!

We cannot say enough good stuff about our first visit to see Dr. Buzz and Cassie! The entire staff was amazing! The kids loved it and did absolutely amazing! They love their special prize too!!💜

My son fell and chipped a tooth. They got us in the same day I called. The staff was very friendly and greeted my son by name like he’d been there 100 times before. He enjoyed playing with toys in the waiting room while I did paperwork. Dr. Buzz was great and I felt like he gave us good advice and wasn’t trying to get money out of us. Actually, they didn’t charge us at all since he was so young. We will definitely be back!!

We had been to another highly rated pediatric dentist and just didn’t feel great about it. A friend recommended Dr. Buzz. Our visit was amazing—all the staff blew it out of the water. Very patient, kind. Lots of staff. Worth the drive for us to know she’s in the right place.

My husband, daughter and I moved to Franklin from another state and the warm welcome I received from the moment we walked into Dr. Buzzs door was just like being home. From the front desk hello to the very last see you next time my mind was at ease about being in a new place! The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful and even though they seemed busy, we still felt as if we were the only ones there! We had a slight wait but Dr.Buzz and staff were definitely worth the wait!! I cant say enough about this office. So thankful that this amount of hospitality is available right here in our new home town!

We LOVE Dr. Buzz! All the hygienist are amazing but we especially love Mariah! She cleaned all three of my girls teeth today and dealing with my difficult 5 year old is not always pleasant! She put them at ease, explained everything, promoted dental hygiene and made it so much fun they could not believe they were done! This office is kind, caring and very parent friendly! We drive over an hour to come here and if a cavity needs filled or sealants applied then they try to fit you in that day! We love this office and all the beautiful people that work there! I have two kiddos, a ten-year old and a six-year old. Dr. Buzz has been my kiddos dentist since each child was two-years old. They both love Dr. Buzz and his wonderful staff so much! They are all so thorough and really care about the overall oral health of both children. They have taken such good care to ensure healthy, beautiful smiles in my children and have done so in a very loving way. I appreciate especially that Dr. Buzz is open and honest and readily shares his expertise to help with preventative care, as well. I confidently put my trust in the care that Dr. Buzz and his staff provide my children and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing pediatric dentist.

We absolutely love Dr. Buzz and his entire staff! My little girl had a couple of fillings done yesterday and asked when we left when she was going back. She never felt any pain and was so proud to tell everyone she went to the dentist. They really go above and beyond to make kids feel at ease while being at the dentist. He and his staff have taken care of all three of my kids. I have nothing bad to say about any of the staff there. Always friendly,courteous and a pleasant atmosphere. Dr Buzz has a great personality and a heart for kids. We are glad we chose him all those years ago.

We moved recently to Franklin from California and were in search of a new pediatric dentist. I was referred to Dr. Buzz by another parent and couldnt be more pleased. Dr. Buzz and his whole staff were very caring with my kids, ages 11 and 8. They took the time to talk to them about their new school, etc. and even had a sign welcoming them to their first visit. Our prior dentist didnt allow parents in the back during treatments. Dr. Buzz invites parents to join their kids if they choose, which was really comforting. They hygienists explained everything as they were cleaning, setting a nice relaxed and open environment. Definitely a 5 star experience!

My children have had their teeth cleaned at Dr. Buzzs office for 11 years. Dr. Buzz and his staff are so friendly and efficient. My son has autism, and he loves to go to the dentist. Everyone is so patient and kind. I was so blessed to find this dentist office. I highly recommend anyone to come here. Youll never go anywhere else!

Dr.Buzz is hands down the BEST pediatric dentist in the area. He uses a conservative approach when deciding on what treatment is necessary. You can always count on Dr.Buzz being upfront and honest about what the best route is to go. His number one priority is to deliver the best care possible for all his patients. I can tell by how sweet,kind and understanding he was when I came to him from another dentist for a second opinion. His staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They took their time when explaining how the sedation worked and answered all the questions I had. I would recommend Dr.Buzz for sure!!!!

Dr. Buzz and the ladies there are the best!!! My daughter has a couple of procedures done there and they were fantastic with her. She likes everything explained to her and they are very patient with her. My rambunctious 2 year old son loves the trains and the staff is very accommodating to young children. We love this office, so glad we have them for our kiddos!!

The staff was very friendly and awesome with my 1 year old. We had a little problem checking in but the receptionist helped us out tremendously. I cant think them enough. Awesome staff

This is the Happiest dental office to take your children. They make it such fun for my children when they visit Dr Buzz. His entire staff always has a bright smile on their face. When my daughter was afraid they played silly games and got her laughing so then they could perform her dental cleaning. I drive 40 min just to attend this happy place. Who knew a dental office could bring so much joy?!!

My daughter (2) had her first visit and everything went so well. The waiting room and staff were warm and inviting. The treatment rooms are very welcoming and happy. The staff was WONDERFUL at making my daughter feel comfortable and not scared. They really go above and beyond to make kids feel comfortable and excited about going to the dentist.
