All three of my children are seen at this office. The care has always been amazing for the last three years. My son needed braces and today he was able to get them off. From start to finish the process was wonderful. Dr. Lamm and his team are very professional and so kind. They take their time explaining all procedures and what comes next. My entire family comes here. I have four of my six kids with Dr. Lamm in ortho and the kids love him (and they have beautiful smiles!). My dentist Dr. Gillette and her team do amazing work. I saw Dr. Jordan for an emergency and she did a great job. The pediatric dentist Dr. Owens sees my kids and he makes them comfortable and makes them laugh! Front office is friendly and helpful with insurance—and always work with me if my insurance company tries to screw me over. Best office!

I’ve been coming to this dental clinic for the last several years, and they’ve given me the best experience I could hope for! I’ve lived all over the US, and of all the dentists I’ve seen, this is the only place where I’ve looked forward to the visit rather than showed up with trepidation. Hate the dentist because they stab your gums and make the whole experience traumatic? Then you need to try this place because they know what they’re doing and everyone is professional and friendly!

The only thing I remember was chatting with the dental assistant ( so funny and nice) then choking on my words when the FINEST dental surgeon walked into my room. All of the sudden Im waking up and being wheeled to my car. 10 out of 10 would come back again 👀

This place has been a toss up. They can get you In pretty well and the staff is nice. However the work done is lacking. My wife has gotten cavities under her filling/crown put on a year before. My crown in the back of my mouth popped off a little under a year after it was put on while eating a burger and I would have had to pay 2k just to have them fix their error.

I never thought Id be writing a glowing review of a dental office but here I am. Ive always had some moderate anxiety about the dentist and everyone I have seen at this office has been great and thats helped a lot. My most recent experience however was above and beyond. Specifically Doctor Gillette and Rikki (Dental Tech, sorry I dont know her specific title) are wonderful. I recently had some relatively extensive dental work done and not only were they great at their jobs, they were compassionate with some personal issues I was having. Again, Ive always had some dental anxiety but I fell asleep, actually took a nice nap during a dental procedure with them even though I hadnt taken any medication for it. I highly recommend them specifically and this office in general.

Terrible dental clinic! Beware of their predatory business practices. They will up sell you on expensive treatments, then send you to collections with no notice when the insurance company denies the claim. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

I have been going here for years. In the past year I have made appointments later in the afternoon only to have them cancel them because the dentist wouldnt be in that late, then maybe dont make appointments for those times ? 🙃 I also got braces and was rather disappointed afterwards. It took twice as long they looked ok at best. If you work a 9-5 job dont go here they will not accommodate you especially the specialist.

I really wanted to like this place after reading a lot of positive reviews, and, to their credit, the actual visit, hygienist, and dentist were lovely. However, my husband and I have been dealing with a billing nightmare since taking our daughter for her first dental cleaning.On their website it clearly states that cleanings with x-rays and fluoride are $99. I verified this with the receptionist when I made the appointment for my daughter, and she said that that was correct and that it might even be less because my daughter is too young for x-rays and fluoride. Awesome. Made the appointment and went in. All was well.A week or so later we received a bill for $253. I called the office and they verified that something was wrong with my account and said they would correct it and send us a new bill.A week or so more goes by and we received another bill for the same amount. I mistakenly thought it must be a mistake and decided to continue waiting for the corrected bill. Instead, I got a collections notice for $253.We called the collections agency to say we were disputing the charge and called the office again. AGAIN they verified that our account was billed incorrectly, and said we could pay the $99 and it would cover our account and that would be the end of it. Awesome. We did that and I have the bank statement to prove it.A week or so go by and I receive ANOTHER collections notice for $253, not even acknowledging the $99 they took. At this point I was extremely frustrated, so I sent an email to the office through their website and my husband and I called after we got off work. Same story. They remembered us and said they would let the collections agency know. We requested that they copy us to the communication or send us some sort of receipt to show that that communication took place. Never got that.Today we received a letter from a lawyer and behalf of the collections agency for the same $253. I am beyond frustrated now, which is why I am writing this review. We plan to go in tomorrow and demand they fix the issue while we are in the office. This has been going on far too long and they are going to destroy our credit over something ridiculous.I should also add that we have not been allowed to speak to anyone in billing directly, only the front desk people.Long story short, the office visit was great, but the billing department needs to get it together. Be wary of this place, they may bill you incorrectly, take your money, send you to collections, and ignore your attempts to fix the issue.

Dr. Janica Gillette is awesome. She thoroughly explains every procedure and brings you into the decision-making process related to your dental health. She really cares about your health and explains all options so you feel fully informed. Further, Rikki is an amazing dental assistant. She also thoroughly helps you through the process with a lot of compassion. I have never said this before, however I now really enjoy going to the dentist. Best ever.....

Had my first visit to the office yesterday and was beyond impressed!Everything was clean and all the staff were professional.Was helped right away upon arrival, and each step of the process was prompt.After visiting another dental office a few years back with the same exact insurance. I was told that my cleaning was extensive and did not fall under the free yearly cleaning provided by my insurance and that I would have to come back for several visit to have the cleanings done, with about a $170 price tag on each visit. So scheduling my appointment at Fountain Modern Dentistry I just kind of expected to hear the same thing. However this was not the case, the dental hygienist came in explained what she was going to be doing, let me know if I was uncomfortable to just raise my hand and then went to business on the cleaning. The whole thing maybe took 30 minutes. So now being taken such great care of at this facility I feel like I was being taken for a fast one from the other practice.All in all I had such a wonderful experience here that I will be recommending it to anyone and everyone! Everyone in the office does their part to make sure your experience is pleasant rather than clinical - yes thats probably the first time in my life that the word pleasant has come up when describing a dental appointment involving more than a cleaning. I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Gillette and the team at Fountain Modern Dentistry. I especially love their broad use of technology to provide exceptional dental services - a 90 minute appointment for prep, fitting, fabrication and installation of a permanent crown is impressive!

I had my four wisdom teeth removed in December 2019. I paid everything they told me to pay and that was the end of it. Until June 29th when I received a letter from a debt collector in the mail stating that I owed Fountain Modern Dentistry 237 more dollars. I was obviously very confused by this as my surgery was over 6 months prior and I hadnt heard a single thing from Fountain Modern Dentistry since the day of my surgery. I called them first thing the next morning very upset and confused. I was informed that they miscalculated the amount my insurance was going to pay and now I was responsible for the 237 dollar difference. I understand that mistakes happen, but there is no excuse for Fountain Modern Dentistry never contacting me once in the 6 months to make me aware of my balance. My family and I will no longer be patients at Fountain Modern Dentistry due to this awful experience.

Dr. Reynolds is friendly and does an excellent job making me feel at ease. I had to get two crowns, and although I was there for 4 hours, Dr. Reynolds was attentive and did an amazing job; couldnt feel any pain the next day and my crowns were beautiful. Dare I say, I almost dont dread going to the dentist if Dr. Reynolds is doing the work.

The pediatric dentist is great with my autistic kids and so are the hygienists. Weve been going here for several years now and theyve made my kids comfortable with the process, which makes me one happy momma.

Im very happy with the work they have done. My only thing is that even with insurance the out of pocket money that I have spent seems to be a lot. I guess getting work done on your teeth is important but in my opinion prices are outrageous.

My family has gone here for years. I have recommended them to family and co-workers and they all like them. This weekend my nephew was in pain and they fit him in with no appointment. I cant express enough how much I appreciate their professionalism and understanding throughout the appointment. Their main concern was to make sure he was no longer in pain and made sure we were aware of what needed to be done in the future to help him with his dental care and check ups. DR FERGUSON IS AMAZING! He is the periodontist. He worked seamlessly with the dentist to do an implant on my front top tooth that had been knocked out. Dr. Ferguson was able to place the implant in a way that allowed the dentist to create a temporary crown and place it that very same day (I didnt have to leave without a tooth there, or even one of those temporary flipper teeth). I didnt feel anything during the procedure and the recovery has been surprisingly painless considering the gum and bone grafts that needed to be done.One of the best parts is that Dr Ferguson was very generous to me as I do not have dental insurance.

Dr. Hubble, Dr. Ferguson, Dr. Nielsen and all their support staff were all great with helping me fix a tooth that had been taken care of improperly from another dentist. I would highly recommend going to this clinic. They made every visit easy as possible and have been very caring and supportive through the entire process.

Expensive and are either negligent or make a habit of charging for things that are not there? My daughter has TMJ (locking of the jaw) our ex-Dentist did X-rays about 1 - 2 mths ago and recommended that she have her 3 wisdom teeth (she only has 3) removed so we can try that first and hopefully avoid jaw surgery, he referred us to a Specialist in the Springs called Amos Colorado Oral Surgery, we went to them about 2 weeks ago and they also did their own full panel X-rays, also agreed with the diagnosis and also sat us down to show us the X-rays. (same set of teeth, same 3 wisdom teeth being referenced.) and the front desk lady was really nice, she told us that our new Cigna insurance wasnt paying their portion cause OUR Dentist was out of the Cigna Network! We never knew! So with ONLY using Delta Dental, out of pocket, they quoted us Three hundred-something. I asked if I got a new Primary dentist that accepted both insurances & referred us to them, is it possible for that amount to go down? She said absolutely, we just need to get a referral from an in-network Dentist. So fast-forward to this week. Went to Fountain Modern cause they ARE in Cignas network and they also accept Delta Dental. Long story short, Daughters appt was 4 days ago & they started cleaning her teeth even though she wasnt due for cleaning and I didnt schedule a cleaning? I explained the whole TMJ story to the girl who did the scheduling over the phone who mustve ignored everything I said and just heard, cleaning. But whatever, that was fine, no problem.. the dentist was really nice too, but he told her and my husband right off the bat that he didnt think she needed them removed? My husband had to explain yet again the whole TMJ story so the dentist agreed to do the referral after all, but the referral has to stay in-their-network, same office. (which was fine with us) we figured this will be cheaper anyways since Amos had to charge without a Cigna payment, this office that DOES have the Cigna paid, should be even cheaper right? We scheduled the appt and the girl said she would call us by end of the day to provide the price to extract her teeth. They arrived back home with paperwork that showed the numbered 4 teeth that need to get extracted! But yet both prior dentist offices (And her ex-braces dentist from Aurora Co also) only saw 3, not 4. And they showed us the X-rays so Im sure there is only 3. So we gave them the benefit of the doubt, likely an error, and waited for her phone call. It never came, so today I called to check on the price. She quoted me $719 for all 4 teeth. I asked her, You mean 3 teeth? Whered the 4th come from? She said, It shows here she has 4. I told her about all the other X-rays we have had and only 3-wisdom teeth appear, why do THEIR X-rays magically show 4? She said, Well its cause Pediatrics arent here today so I cant ask them, I will let them know and have them reach out when they return. I cancelled the appointment online and will not be returning.

I really dispised going to the dentist. Dr Gillett was very patient and treated me very well. Her knowledge professionalism and honesty made this a very easy experience for me. I think I found my lifelong dentist. I would definitely recommend her to everyone.

It is my daughters first set of braces and I have no clue how braces work. Dr. Lamm and Annette were very informative and answered all my questions and explained the process very well. I would recommend them to everyone if you want a hassle free relaxed experience!!

The hygienists and staff are very friendly and I’ve always had a good experience here. Reason for the review is that they’ve cancelled on us twice without calling us or leaving us any notification (such as voicemail). It’a a huge inconvenience driving all the way up to the office only to find out that our appointment has been cancelled and having to turn back around and head home.

I absolutely love this place! First off, my daughter was first to be seen. She is a toddler and they were very gentle and she felt so comfortable that she laid there perfectly still while they checked, and brushed her teeth. They were amazing with her and that already spoke volumes to my husband and I. Next was my appointment. First off, their technology there is so advance! They dont mind educating you on any questions you may have either. A very friendly and helpful staff indeed! I had great pleasure in getting my first exam because they made sure to be through and explain all that they were doing while doing it. Today I had a deep cleaning for pockets they noticed and everything went great. I again had wonderful conversation, was very impressed by how fast, yet through they were... just an all around great experience. I think what made me really write this review was that after my cleaning, she wanted to make sure that she saw me again ASAP to be sure things were going well for me. Taking that kind of initiative is what stuck in my mind most about the care they have shown. I will recommend them to everyone who asks and is prepared for many wonderful things to be said!

Great dentist office! From the time I walked into the place I was greeted by a friendly staff. My wait was not long at all the X-Rays took a little while but that is normal due to all the angles they have to take. The procedure itself was painless and quick I was able to return to work afterwards. I definitely would recommend this place to a friend.

I wish I could give zero stars. My appointment was at 11, however at 12:15 I had to approach the counter and ask for a refund of my copay. I was told that they were running behind however not one person had the courtesy of relaying this to me. I can assure you that myself and my family will NEVER return here again. I should have checked their reviews before going in. Just sad.

Today was my first visit to a dentist in 4 years and my first visit to this one ever. Im so happy and confident after just one visit that this will be my go to dentist. Dr. Cairns at Fountain Modern Dentistry is a great Dentist. He did a crown for me more than a year ago and it was a pretty painless experience. Because his skill level is very high, the amount of time spent working on me prepping for the crown, build-up, etc. was kept to a minimum. The crown and bite was perfect from the get go. More recently, Dr. Cairns helped me with a pretty severe TMJ problem (jaw was stuck closed every morning). After several months of treatment, I am very much improved (no more sticking or pain) with a very workable solution going forward. While at first I thought the cost of the TMJ treatment was expensive, after seeing how much professional time was included in all the follow ups (plus the appliance), it turns out that the cost was very reasonable. Thank you Dr. Cairns!

Dr. Barta and his assistant Sam really helped me out. I had an emergency - I broke my crown in half (initial crown was done outside of Colorado). Their office was able to get me in right away, and I left with a wonderful new tooth. It feels and looks much better than my first crown too. Painless!

Dr Gillette Backstrom was simply amazing to me. I had an emergency extraction done and she was patient and gentle and very thorough in explaining things to me. I have some other dental work I need done and rather than trying to just take money she suggested I wait since we are moving soon so insurance will cover more when we get moved and I dont have to repeat exams and xrays. Im sad I wont be able to continue care with her.

We have 4 sons and all of them go to the Fountain Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics. I have bringing them there for about a year and half now and I have never had a bad experience. We are always greeted by the staff up front as soon as we walk in the door, the hygienist are pretty prompt and the Kids Dental side really handle my Autistic son very well.

Dr. Lamm is AMAZING! I had to re-do my Ortho treatment after having braces in my teens and he introduced me to Invisalign as a great option. The staff is accommodating and friendly and always quick to address any concerns and see me when needed. I love my new smile and refer all of my friends and family to see Dr. Lamm. Thank you!!

Dr. Brown and Rita were absolutely amazing! We took our 13 month old for his first appointment and they were wonderful with him. He enjoyed the entire visit and loved Rita and Dr. Brown!

I have went here, my kids, my friends and their families, and my husband. My husband gets his cleaning and the hygienist calls after the weekend with a VERY disturbing and unprofessional message. NEVER has someone who cleaned someones teeth, not surgical procedure, called with sentences such as: Was thinking of you all weekend, wanted to know how your weekend went, Hope you had a good weekend, You can call me back if you want to but you dont have to, see you soon, adios amigo, and I been thinking of you. Thats crossing the line to unprofessionalism. The Office Manager stated she is very friendly. Well, you have lost our business after MANY years and I will share my experience with others. May want to re-think your friendliness.

I had a wonderful dentist here, but they left. The new one wanted to ignore my history and my unique medical situation. Didnt care about the previous treatment plans that worked, and is the reason we are gone.Unacceptable to not even consider what was useful in the past.Shameful

Went in for a crown on my chipped tooth. I had been putting it off and Im glad I waited to find this place. They took great care of me and made me feel comfortable through the whole procedure. They also noticed a few other things about my dental health that other dentists hadnt seen. I was happy to work with them and will be back for a cleaning in a few months!

My Kids Dentistry and Orthodontics: From start to finish the process was fast and remarkably easy. The facility is super clean and the staff is kind, patient, happy and very polite. I Visited the dentist on the 15th. You have an assistant. Linda Kelly. Who I would say goes far and above her duties at the clinic. Linda took care of me on the 15th of April and I have never been so impressed with the warmth and care she gave while assisting with a molar much needing repair. If I could Id give her an bunch of gold stars. I am 82 and nervous with dentists but she certainly kept me calm and relaxed with her gentleness!!

I met with Dr. Kramer and Linda. They are both very good at what they do! I personally enjoy the laid back environment and they treated me like a REAL PERSON! Not just some number! Linda noticed some work that I had done from a different dental company and ran it past Dr. Kramer - Linda was able to fix it and after 6 years of constant headaches and the inabilty to close my mouth all the way on one side, I was finally out of pain and could close my teeth together! They have been, by far, the best team I have had work on my dental needs and I appreciate them so much! Thank you to them and the staff for being so kind and fun to be around, making my experience and all around joy! Thank you Dr. Kramer and Linda - You guys are awesome! :)

Ive had nothing but excellent service here. My children enjoy going to the dentist, and I enjoy the level of care that our family receives. Ive had cleanings, exams, a root canal + crown, and every time I have been thoroughly satisfied with the job they have done. It was my first experience but I was very impressed.

Ive had two different dental hygienists and they both have been so gentle with my cleanings. Growing up, I HATED going to the dentist because the dental hygienist they had at our small town place was not gentle and so I just assumed thats how they all are. WRONG! My dentist, Ryan Pfeifer, also was amazing and offered to file down a tooth for free for me that I had chipped a couple years ago. They are just amazing and dont try to nickel and dime you. They dont pressure you into things if you arent ready to financially afford something, but they do advise you on things you should start considering getting done. Example, I need to get my wisdom teeth removed sometime soon as they have started causing me pain, but we dont have the money yet and I dont want to use credit for it. Each cleaning, they simply ask if I have thought more about scheduling the removal, I say yes but not ready yet, and then that is it as far as talking about it more. So glad I found this place and highly recommend them!Edit: After having read some of the other reviews, I saw somebody mention they had to pay before getting work done. I had the opposite experience. When I got some pockets filled, I paid after I had my teeth worked on and the amount I paid was significantly lower than what I had been previously been quoted 2 visits (a year.)

Pain, Pain, Pain.😱😱😱 STAY AWAYI’m a 38 male and went in to clean an infected bone graft. The doctor never offered me any kind of anesthetic, even when he saw me shaking on the chair. I left the clinic and cried in my car. I was in shock.If you like pain, this is the perfect place for you. If you don’t, find another doctor.After this procedure was done, I asked for a refund so I could do the bone graft again at another clinic and after trying for months I got my refund denied.I assure you there are better clinics in Colorado Springs. Dr. Lamm is super nice and helpful. Kim put on my daughters braces and she was very nice and quick. The whole staff is great and quick and fun.

My family had 3 appointments today , in which each family member arrived 10 minutes prior to there appointment. After waiting onward of 30 minutes after assigned Scheledule appointment my wife had to reschelddule as she had to get back to work and only coordinated the time of the original appointment.The second/third appoint I had to remove my kids from school and awaited onward of 30 minutes again. It wasnt until I addressed the issue to the front counter did they call use back.

I chose this business after moving into the area. I have never had any problems with my teeth and I had just seen my previous dentist shortly before coming here. Besides the staff being rude, it seems that every visit that I have I have been told that I needed an expensive procedure. First, the first thing they commented was that I have regular, metal fillings and have offered to replace them with some porcelain product. Obviously, they dont bother me so I declined. Next, they told me that I needed a crown on one of my teeth. So, I got the procedure and $700 later (after insurance) it was still in pain. They then tried to tell me I needed a root canal, which I declined. Turned out that they put it in incorrectly. Still have problems with it from time to time. Next, I asked them for a new retainer. What I got was a very expensive piece of plastic that does not fit my bite. On my last few visits they decided to tell me that I needed several more crowns on several more teeth because my metal fillings were bad. I have no pain and no problems. I doubt I even have a cavity where my fillings are. The lady at the front desk kept pushing me to get the procedure and pay for it then. I kept telling her no and I could not even afford it anyhow. Her response, Well, use the credit card you used last time. People, this place is a scam organization. They advertise the amount of crowns they do and display it in their front lobby. I am going to get a second opinion, but I dont see how I went from having no problems for years to suddenly needing crowns on all my teeth.

I was rudely condescended because I chose not to allow x-rays to be taken before a simple cleaning, despite having had x-rays taken at this very office 12 months prior and being in excellent dental health. I was told xrays were required before my cleaning. Sorry, but that is simply not true. They do whatever they can to exploit your health insurance. I find that unacceptable, especially when my body is concerned. I am not the Goose that lays the golden eggs.

I hadnt been to the dentist in over 20+ years. Dr. Barta was amazing and catered to my fears and concerns!! Serena was amazing with my children during their cleanings! They took great care of my children and watched them for me while Dr. Barta worked his magic. Theres also an AMAZING lady with a pixie cut and glasses who works the front desk!! My children fell in love with her! After 3 visits..... this place felt like family!!!!

My husband and I had the same experience as the person below. The dental hygienist refused to do a cleaning because she said we had deep pockets and gum disease, and said we needed an expensive $1,000 cleaning. She tried to scare us saying we could lose our teeth. I told my husband to not believe her and that it is a money making tactic. He went and got a second opinion at a dentists office next door and the dentist there said he did not have gum disease and did not need the deep cleaning. The dental hygienist named Stephanie I believe is very rude and condescending. Her attitude makes me not want to go to the dentist. Ive also noticed they will try to charge your insurance company for everything possible, including procedure codes that you didnt even get done while you are there. They also circulate their dentists so you never see the same dentist.

My 5year old is TERRIFIED of dentists and doctors. She went in for an appointment today and let me just say we have found our new family dentist! The staff were amazing! The dr was amazing! Jesse really went above and beyond to make my daughter comfortable, even had her LAUGHING. She is actually looking forward to her next visit. Thank you for taking the fear of dentists away from my daughter!!!

This place is by far the worst I have ever seen!! They wanna charge people for things that is completely uncalled for. They dont even deserve a one star. They cant even do a damn root canal, that shows you how incompetent and stupid they are. My dentist did a root canal on a tooth that had nothing left and these so called dentist cant even do one. My wife went there to have an extraction and they almost ruined her mouth. The retarded dentist left bone fragments in her jaw, almost dislocated her jaw because they used the wrong mouth piece. They took out her filling from another tooth and instead of them fixing their mess up, they told her that she needed a damn crown (not surprised). They also tried to turn around and charge her $2,400 to fix their damn mistake and told her that they will only charge her half, un friggin believable! If I can cause these people to lose business, I sure as hell would because they dont deserve any business at all. And were pulling our daughter away from them.

Took my 2 boys here for their appointments. It was my 4 year olds first time and he was extremely nervous! The lady did a fantastic job with him and made him feel completely comfortable!

Unbelievably poor customer service. I have been trying to get help with my veneers for 3 months now but I have had no help when I have called and been into Fountain Modern Dentistry.This is my situation. I cracked a veneer and went in on to the office in November 2018. My 2 front teeth veneers were removed, an impression was made, and I was told my new ones would be in within 3 weeks. I paid the amount of $2,160.00 in full. At this time, I had 2 temporary covers put on my teeth.On January 4, I called in to see where my veneers were because no one had contacted me. Dr. Barta personally called me back on January 7 to tell me that the veneers were lost and I would need to have another set of impressions made. I had another impression done on January 14 and another set of temporary covers put on.On January 29, I received a message on my phone that my veneers were in and ready to be put in. I called back and was told the veneers were not actually in and that Dr. Barta no longer worked at the facility. I was told I would have to wait until February 19 or 20 for Dr. Barta to come in to have them done and that I would be contacted for an appointment. It is now February 13. I have not received a call to schedule an appointment for next week. I still have temporary teeth and am unable to bite or chew correctly. I have had to grind up most food to eat it.At this time, I am tired of waiting for my veneers. I have paid in full, I have called, I have been in, Ive had 2 sets of impressions done, I have been lied to. I want this resolved and am not having any luck when I talk to anyone. This is terrible service and I will not return once my veneers are resolved.

My fiancé was there on 9/12/16 he arrived at 3pm and left till 7:45pm. They got all of hes fillings and cleaning done in 5 hrs. The reason why is because the didnt want him to reschedule I truly apretiate all of their hard work. I am grateful they took good care of him and they were nice enough to stay after their shift to help out a patient. I work in the medical field and I know how much of a sacrifice that is thank you ladies. Great job keep it up!

Poor practices. Im a first time patient. Set an appointment in regards to preventative dental care as well as ortho consult. Was told over the phone both could be done. When I arrived they dodnt get me in to see the assistant until almost one hour after I arrived! No one at the desk had the courtesy to explain why, I just waited. Then, once I met the dentist I was told in regards the ortho part of it, I would need to set up a separate time to see the orthodontist, which I was under the impression on the phone that it was a dental AND ortho appointment. As it turns out, there was not even an orthodontist there that day at all!! Very disappointed with this practice and will not be returning.

This dental office is the most dishonest and corrupt practice I have ever encountered. I was new in the area and decided to go there for an exam. They told me I needed $900 of dental care that my insurance would not cover (scaling and root planing and 5 fillings). I was very surprised as I had just been to the dentist 6 months prior in another state and had been told everything was fine. Luckily, I decided to get a second opinion. I went to Mesa Ridge Dental right across the parking lot (they were great!). The dentist there told me that there was no way that I needed any type of scaling and root planing procedure, and that I only needed 1 filling. He measured the pockets in my gum line and said there were no areas greater than 3mm (the dentist at Fountain modern dentistry had measured pockets that were 5-6 mm) He told me this type of practice is sometimes typical for huge corporate dental offices that are based out of state. I could not believe that a health professional would be so dishonest and attempt to do unnecessary treatments (which is health care fraud) just to make a little more money off me. My second issue came up with this offices billing practices. My insurance and I were billed for procedures that were not completed- this is also considered health care fraud. I had a letter from my insurance stating I owed $300. I was very surprised as I went in for the basic exam and didnt even get a cleaning. When I called to question it, I was told they made a mistake with their coding. The woman I spoke to in billing said she would remove the false codes and correct this mistake with my insurance (who had unfortunately already sent them a check). She said I would not owe them anything. However, just yesterday I received a bill from Fountain Modern Dentistry for over $100 so I am going to have to call again. Fountain modern dentistry has given me a lot of stress and wasted several hours of my time. This practice is shady and fraudulent. If you are new to town and looking for a dentist, dont make the same mistake I did!

This office is great for cleanings and regular X-ray. However, when it came time to get my wisdom teeth out, they really dropped the ball. They were so busy figuring out how I would be paying for it that they forgot to give me my pre-operating instructions! I had not had sedation since I was a kid, so I ate lunch, not knowing it would mean I couldnt have my much needed surgery. I have had pain for 2 weeks now and their next available appointment is 2 months away. So - since they were more interested about my bill and my money, they have now lost both as a result of poor customer service. I will be getting my wisdom teeth done elsewhere. I will still get my regular cleanings with them, but they have lost my trust on the bigger things.

Didnt like the fact that every time I went in I had a different dentist as I am not comfortable having changing to too many dentist. Over priced and the hygienist always wanted to have me do the lazer on gums which costs alot. They were always late for appointments and so crowded in there. Then the surprised billed after they give you a total you pay full then a surprise bill shows up to your house... prefer fountain dental which is close by.

Decided to make this my families dentist as well as myself but on the second visit I overheard three of the girls up front (2 looked like techs in scrubs but idk) talking about a patient and how disgusting his teeth cleaning was. I finished booking my next appointment and immediately found a new dentist in fountain. So happy I did. The teeth cleaning I had done at Fountain Modern Dentistry was like a 30 minute appointment At most, the new dentist I transfer to in Fountain took like 2 hours to clean my teeth, talk to me and x-ray. If you have insurance dont waste your time with this place because whatever they did was not annual cleaning it was more like an annual brush your teeth for you. Inmy experience.Also Im slightly embarrassed about my teeth as they are very very slightly crooked. But that was so unprofessional and extremely rude. I felt bad for that person who they are talking about because its expensive to take care of your teeth with or without insurance and then to have someone just talk s*** about you while youre trying to better yourself/Be healthy is disgusting.

I took my son in and he had to have 4 root canals done Dr Barta took care of cody and made him feel at ease my son and i both love Dr Barta and would recommend him to any one ..if you need things done on your teeth Dr Barta is the one you want..... Do not use this dentist. I had a filling done back in august 2016 and been having issues with it ever since. The dentist first screwed up the filling when they did it and i was in pain for 3 months. Within 3 months of being in pain and having 6 different people including a specialist they tell me that they dont know why im having issues and they kept redoing the filling. I finally said screw it and went to the dentist across the street. They took xrays and found out that they left air pockets and spaces that were not filled properly. I went back and asked for a refund. At first they tried not to but i took the xrays over with me to show them the crappy work they did. They finally gave me a refund. Still 1 year later i am still having issues with my tooth and anxiety with going to any dentist. I highly would not recommend.

I have been going there for three years but today the service was awfull, unprofessional. First time I get my theeth polish before my cleaning. They put me on the pediatric room and have to wait more than 20 minutes for a Dentist. Im not going back again, neither my family.

So Ive been going to this office a few years now initially had the best dentist I have ever had he sang Taylor Swift songs great guy anyway he moved :( its been a bit and I needed some filling I take a medication that makes my mouth dry and commonly causes cavities per my regular dr. I drink water all day long stay away from soda etc.. anyway without fail I get cavities. So I go in for my checkup and ofcourse I need some fillings. Most of them are fairly small and on the front teeth. They said hey we can get one or two in today sure I say. He comes in and says I can do all 6 yes 6 I didnt realize I needed 6 but lets get ahead of this and get it done. This started the worst most miserable dentist appointment I have ever had. I had to be numbed 3 times never happened to me before. I feel like he didnt have the time and rushed through it because tonight was the second trip back to the office after the first one fell out this one fell out while I was brushing my teeth, I expect the rest will follow I hope its still under warranty. My understanding is it was not done correctly the first time. I would like to just have the remainder redone but Im not paying twice. So my filling falls out during late lunch for my friends bday so I have rush before they close but Dr. Hubbell got me taken care of she was thorough and kind. Her assistant Andrea C. made sure everything matched and that I was happy with what it looked and felt like. They really made it a good experience in fact it solidified my decision for my son to get braces there. This second time was the same experience I hope the right Dentist gets the credit for all this work even though the treatment plan was with the other Dentist. ( Ive worked in a dentist office before) I will continue to go here as long as I get to see Dr. Hubbell.

The endo-dentist, Dr. McKissock, was terrific! What a funny man, and very smart. The office staff is cute and friendly, but do not seem to know what they are doing in terms of billing and insurance. I was ready for my root canal and bridge, when I came in. The front office and billing was not ready for me. The billing lady said she had been unable to get a person on that line. Well really? It took me all of 1 min. to get my insurance people, and hand my cell phone to her. That little rant and plus she wanted me to pay them $300 before I stepped into the dental chair. What?! Yep, the front office is hard core about getting money. The procedures, and my temporary bridge, which fell out yesterday, cost aroun $2400 for me, after my insurance paid them an additional $1750. The dentists are wonderful, and so are the assistants. So that is why I give them 3 stars.

My son had a great experience here, as did I! He had been to a couple dentists in the past, each seeming to want to overhaul his entire mouth- in the process, one of those places messed up his crowns and a nerve. At the other one, the staff wasnt very friendly and they were slightly on the rude side. The staff here are extremely friendly! Filling out new patient paperwork at home instead of in the office saved a lot of time! The dental assistant had an answer for all of my sons millions of questions. The dentist seemed to really care about my son and what had been done before, and what needed to be done now. He broke it down into a couple treatment plans to not only help my wallet, but to help my son, so he didnt have to sit through too much in one sitting. Everyone was really professional and caring about my sin and his teeth. I will be taking my other children there shortly for their check ups. Best dental experience Ive ever had- and my son ever had. He was really happy that they had smaller pieces to go in his mouth for the xrays, and he liked their 360 degree xray machine. He cant wait to go back! He wanted to go back the next day! He is 7. I will be bringing my 8 year old in a few weeks. He has never been to the dentist because he has Aspergers, and I hadnt found one that he would be okay with...until now! I know he will love his experience as much as his brother! Stay tuned for THAT review!

I have very healthy theeth and Ive never had problem with my theeth. I went to this place jyat ro have my annual theeth cleaning , I was new to the area and this place wasnt far from home so I decided to give it a try. As soon as a good inside I had a bad vibe from the people that work here. Very rude hygienist . They kept telling I had many problems with me theert and were pushing me for a very expensive procedures. I told the ladies at the desk that I was going to think about this and that I wasnt sure weather I wanted this procedures to get done on my teeth . After 2 months Ive got a bill of 140$ for something that I dont even know what this is for. Never again.

Really unprofessional.For example husband took the day off to have his tooth extracted and when he arrived they took an x ray, told him the oral surgeon wasnt there, and rescheduled him.Another example is a day before my cleaning which I had scheduled far in advance they called a few days and said they actually didnt have any hygenists.I came to them for over two years but now Ive had it. My family and I will go elsewhere.

Kramer pulled my wifes wrong tooth and charged us for just for her to go in a week later in major pain from the tooth right next to it then told her it will cost more money he shouldnt be in practice better dentist right up the road and honest
