Dr, Francis’s staffs are horrible. We left so many messages for Dr. Francis or her staffs to return our telephone calls for the past two weeks. Dr. Francis was going to request authorization from the insurance for surgery. We have not heard back from her office. We tried emailing through my chart with no avail. We are so helpless. We will be asking the primary doctor to see if they can refer us to another surgeon who may be willing to do their work to get an approval for cancer surgery. They are just horrible. It is extremely stressful trying to get hold of anyone at the office.

When I was given a list of general surgeons at Memorial Care so that I have to get my gallbladder removed I asked one of my friends who was a nurse at the facility who she would see. She said Kelly Frances. I then asked a friend who is the head of one of the Departments at Memorial Care and he also said Kelly Francis. Dr. Francis exceeded All my expectations. She was one of those rare Physicians who is excellent at her field while maintaining amazing bedside manner. Shes kind friendly and very good at what she does. My recovery time with minimal and she walked me through everything that I should expect. having worked in the medical field for decades general surgeons are known for in and out procedures where they staple your incisions for expediency. Dr. Frances obviously took her time. My incision marks are almost completely gone. Obviously as a patient you want procedure to go well and be successful but you dont necessarily want a reminder of the surgery every time you undress. That is will not be the case if you have Dr Francis as your surgeon. Cant say enough good things about this Doctor, feel lucky to Hub found her.

I went to my Dr. Kelly Francis (Fountain Valley) yesterday and she never waivers. She has been giving me strength since my surgery January, 2018. She not only does incredible work; but her bedside manor is top notch. If anyone is on the the fence may I suggest her as your Dr.. She truly cares and will continue to explain things well after the surgery date. She works on you, not just your surgery site. 🌈😘Love her.

Dr. Francis is absolutely the best surgeon in the area! Shes amazing! I have referred 5 people to her and they have all done really well with the surgery.

I have gallbladder stones and its about to rupture. My dr. sent the referral to this dr as a urgent case. I left a voice message and had to call back letting them know my gallbladder is inflamed that I was in pain it may rupture which I did some rand esearch and my dr. telling me its dangerous that this was urgent and sent them the referral urgent. But they ask first what kind of insurance do you have, they look me up and then told me the best appointment time they can do was September 1 2020. I explained my urgency and she was cold and like it didnt even matter if I set up the appointment with them or not,, basically could care less what happens to you.I cant say how this Dr. Francis is as a surgeon but I can tell you 100% their office operation does not care what happens to you so that tells me a lot about if this is a good pick for someone to operate on you.

No question Dr. Francis is an excellent surgeon as anyone who we put our lives in their hands should be. Visiting her office though … completely different story. The staff has no concept of time or is just completely disrespectful of other peoples’ time.The first time I visit, after few inquiries and approaching two hours waiting time, they decided to inform me there was an emergency. That was understandable, it happens.After the surgery no one call to check up in my condition, neither from the office or the hospital. No one bothered to return my daughters call who was scared that I threw up.I called to schedule my two weeks post-op. They did not mark it on the calendar and were very surprised to see me there.My today visit was no different. Hour and a half after the appointment time, no one bothered to inform why the wait is necessary. All patients before me were processed before my arrival. My name was the last one on the signing page and only one patient signed after me. Some people have to make accommodation to attend their appointments, have babysitters, missing work, etc. Having no respect of their time is bluntly rude and insulting.

This was the single worst experience of my life.During my procedure, they mis-inserted my catheter causing severe damage to my urethra. TWO HOURS after the catheter was inserted, Dr. Francis checked on the catheter and found that it had been improperly inserted. After she attempted to re-insert the catheter with negative results. I was then transferred to the ER where a urologist had to scope and insert the catheter correctly WHILE I WAS AWAKE. This led to me living with a catheter for three weeks, taking multiple ambulance rides to the ER to manage bleeding and pain, multiple trips to the urologist, culminating in a three day stay in the hospital, and a surgery to fix the damage to my urethra that occurred on the first day. To add insult to injury, I wan never once contacted by Dr. Francis’s office to see how I was doing, even after my wife called them and let them know of the horrors I had been going through.

I really appreciate the care Dr. Francis gave my mother before and after her lumpectomy. She genuinely cares for her patients. My family appreciates her so much!!

Dr. Kelly Francis saved my life on April 3rd 2005. I want her to know that Im doing well. I would love for this to get to her somehow as Id give anything to see her again and to thank her personally. Im positive that Im one of her most pain in the neck patients... but Im alive! Thank you, Kelly Francis. I wish there was some possible way to show my appreciation to you. You are God sent, and my personal Earth Angel. Thank you.

Had a surgery consult with Dr. Francis, to whom I was referred by my PCP. She really listened and answered all my questions and concerns clearly and straightforwardly. While the actual procedure will not take place for some time, the consult provided peace of mind and positive expectations, both of which contribute to ones total health.

I have never in my life met a doctor with a better bedside manner. She and her office manager Fabi are so amazing. I wish all doctors were like her who truly listen and want the best for your recovery!!She’s definitely an unsung hero in my book! 💕

Dr. Francis makes you feel like you are a valued patient. She doesnt just do the surgery and pass you along. She remains your doctor and guides you through the process.

So disappointed took a month to get appointment with doctor called this morning to confirm appointment due to what’s going on right now appointment was confirmed 20 minutes before my appointment time as I’m driving there I get a call went to voicemail canceling my appointment receptionist was nice but informed me I would not be able to see doctor because they are two hours behind schedule I took off work I’m loosing 5 hours guess I could find another doctor
