They did great job. Dr. Zaffos was amazing. I was wearing glasses and now I dont I am extremely happy with the result. Thats after different doctor at different clinic told me I cant get the advance lens and will have to wear glasses after surgery.

Hearing you need cataract surgery may be unsettling.But Dr. Bowman and his staff guide you through everything from the diagnosis, setting up your surgical date, explaining what they are doing, filing your insurance claim, and most of all delivering an exceptional patient care experience to improve your vision.

I have been going to Cornea Associates of Texas for many years and I could not recommend this office and staff enough. There are no words to describe how thankful I am for the tremendous care they have given me over the years. Specifically, I am truly thankful that the staff greets me by name and has taken the time to really get to know me. Dr. Zaffos, Christina, and the other technicians are always patient in answering my many questions and explaining the complicated details of my condition to me in a way that I understand. In addition, the front desk ladies are always quick, efficient, and patient in working with my complicated schedule. The entire office staff has gone above and beyond in countless ways to ensure that I am well taken care of and I could not be more grateful for all they have done for me.

I should have read the reviews! I did not have insurance and was told the cash price was $144 to see the dr - which of course had to be paid in full before I could see her. I was assured that was the total amount. Imagine my surprise to receive a bill for $158 for the remainder - which insurance didnt cover! They knew I had no insurance, quoted me a cash price and then sent me a bill. I had to pay otherwise it would go to collections. I will NEVER return! Even if I had insurance...

Last summer I had gone to two other optometrists, including one at a nationally known eye clinic, regarding a growth on the white of my eye. Both doctors dismissed it and prescribed antibiotics. The growth quickly returned each time. By now I was getting frightened because a friend of mine had delayed getting treatment for what he was told was a benign growth only to lose his eye due to cancer.In August I went to see ophthalmologist Dr. Josh Zaffos at Cornea Associates of Texas. Within minutes of examining the growth, he saw that it was something more suspicious and gently told me so. After he presented me with all my options, I chose to have surgery to remove the growth. Despite the possible gravity of my situation, I was so confident and reassured by Dr. Zaffos that I was peaceful throughout my surgery and recovery. He got it all with good margins. He then transplanted material from under my eyelid to fill the hole made by the removal and it grafted seamlessly.I would encourage anyone who is in need of a skilled diagnostician and surgeon to place your trust in Dr. Zaffos. I am so glad that I did.

I couldnt be happier with the LASIK procedure I received here. Dr. Nettune and his staff have been very professional and thorough and I had no qualms about trusting them with my eyesight.

Dr Zaffos and all of his assistants (ie the techs) are wonderful. Ive had both cataract removal and a cornea transplant. I couldnt be happier. This office and Dr Zaffos are so informative and I feel so relaxed around everyone.I would recommend Dr Zaffos and his staff to everyone. Love this place

I recently had LASIK performed via Dr. Zaffos and the experience could not have been better! {Note: surgery is performed at their Dallas office building location, all pre- and post- visits were in Ft. Worth} I required multiple visits prior to my procedure due to my own medical needs, and his office was very patient and understanding. I met with Dr. Zaffos every single visit, which was very important to me to know that my surgeon was familiar with me and my case. They were extremely responsive in scheduling appointments, always open to answering my myriad questions, and very informative regarding different options for my procedure. I never once felt pressured, and was actually quite reassured they wouldnt perform the procedure if I wasnt a good candidate (this is a good thing!!). Scheduling was very quick, and the timing worked out to where I didnt need to take any PTO from work AT ALL (4pm surgery and able to go to work the next day). Pricing was competitive and there are incredible financing options if needed! Are they the cheapest? No. Are they cornea experts who do more than just crank out as many LASIK procedures as possible? YES. Everyone was more than kind and very professional.

I am so disappointed in the staff. No clue about customer service. I had a procedure done Friday, 11-3 and someone forgot to send my prescription for the ointment needed to help with discomfort and healing. I called the after hours # 5 times... Someone finally calls back in the middle of the night and leaves a message saying she called my prescription in... Guess what, no prescription...I call in again, crying at this point, and I leave the name and location of the pharmacy I need the prescription to go to...and they leave another message saying they called it in to the wrong pharmacy again in Irving... I live in Ft Worth and never, ever mentioned Irving... Ive never had any issues like this with any of the 6 other procedures / surgeries I had with other facilities.... This is ridiculous.... Im going to look for another cornea specialist immediately....

I paid a lot of money to have cataract surgery. My vision is now WORSE than before the surgery. At this point, for ANOTHER, $1850, they can now do lasik surgery! Oh, that was my discounted rate! Really? I do not suggest this place to anyone...and they are expensive!!!!! I also think the Lasik, should have been offered for free!
