This was the best experience Ive had at an optometrist in years! They were so quick, but thorough with the screeners and eye exam. Dr. McAbee was easy to talk to and make the whole exam a breeze! I went over to Target to buy glasses right after and only spent an hour from walking into Metroplex Eye Care until I left from Target.

The optometrist was wonderful. Office was safe and professional. I would definitely recommend!

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Hentz for about 8 years. Dr. Hentz is always great along with her staff. She answers all my questions (silly or not) and makes the exam so easy. I highly recommend this location! She also just opened up an office in Arlington TX. Yay!

Everything there was clean and sanitized, and I really appreciated the system where I was able to check-in from my car instead of having to walk inside. They are doing their absolute best to socially distance in such a small space and I really liked their caution. Not only that, everyone working was so personable and did such a great job of making me feel comfortable! Always a plus!

The staff and doctor were great! The entire visit was entertaining and I learned so much from the doctors fun facts. I was also able to get my glasses repaired in the optical center. I will definitely return and recommend the office.

I’ve been visiting this location for a few years now and was extremely disappointed in my wife and I’s experience today. This office doesn’t have a clear COVID protocol to address the extremely small waiting room whatsoever. It became quite clear that the admin staff is prioritizing the clearing out the waiting area over following the order of scheduled appointments. My wife and I had back to appointments and because the waiting room was full, we were asked to wait outside and let them call me when it was time for mine. No call was made and when I came back in from my car to double check, the staff had proceeded to send back two other patients with appointments scheduled after mine. I literally watched the staff do this same thing to other patients for the rest of my time there. This is completely unacceptable and we will likely be seeking eye care elsewhere if not addressed.

I love Target Optical so having just moved to Texas I gladly drove the hour & I was not disappointed. The staff are attentive, kind & understanding. The doctor is fantastic! She was actually the first smiling face & hello I received upon entering the office.

My daughter, (age 12) got contact lenses for the first time. Dr. Hentz took the time to personally show her how to put them in and take them out. She was professional and incredibly kind and patient with my daughter. I highly recommend her office as her staff is very kind and professional as well.

I had to wait for an hour after my appointment to be seen. There was no communication fromThe staff letting me know they were running behind schedule or to see if I’d be interested in rescheduling.

Optometrist was extremely courteous and helpful and patient.

I was charged DOUBLE the previous year rate because I was a new patient which I kept saying that I wasnt but they just kept brushing it off and charged for imaging I did not need and wasnt asked to get done. Seemed sketchy. The following day I woke up with a swollen lower eyelid from what I assumed was infected equipment. I had a few questions for her and with her generic answers it was clear she just wanted me done and gone. Do not recommend. You are paying for a service and medical guidance and you are definitely not getting that. Still left without being able to see.

Dr. Hentz is the best eye doctor Ive been to! I get really nervous about eye appointments but she was so good about explaining every step and going over the results of my exam. Would definitely recommend her to anyone

The doctor helped me with a problem I’d been having for YEARS. She trusted what I said and had a prescription perfect for me.

I’ve been going to Dr. Hentz for about 3 years! She is knowledgable and professional! I mostly loved her warm and caring disposition so I’ve continued to return. Now, my kids are her patients too! Her staff is cordial and have worked me in at the last minute! The only downside is that the office is tiny, but they make the best of it! Lol

The price seems reasonable, the staff is very friendly and Dr. Hentzs eye exam was VERY thorough. I didnt have high expectations for a retail eye place connected to target but her exam was more thorough than the exams I got from a private practice for years. The woman who works the front desk is so warm and friendly so that is another huge plus. I am very pleased with my experience.

Amazing doctor and staff! The last exam my 7 year old had, the Dr was very impatient with her and overall the exam didnt go well. Brought her to Dr Hentz and she was so wonderful. Im so glad we found her!

The office staff and Dr. Hentz was awesome. I didnt wait more than 2 minutes to be seen. Dr. Hentz was thorough but didnt take long for the exam. She went over the exam details and made sure I understood everything.
