I dropped in on NYE for a last minute blowout and I was SO glad I did! Jen did my hair and she was AMAZING! Very professional, proficient and engaging. I had such a great experience I scheduled another appointment last week and this time Bailey did my hair and she did a wonderful job also! Both times the blowout lasted several days with little maintenance. I live down the street from here, I won’t go anywhere else to have my hair done. I’ve been able to drop in super last minute and get whatever service I need. Highly recommend!!

Kaitlyn is wonderful! I love my hair! Ive had trouble with brittle, thinning hair. She knew what coloring products to use that would not worsen my hair. She discussed the services I was scheduled for and helped me choose what would be best for my hair, which saved me money! She is very knowledgeable about all the products and took the time to help me select the best ones I needed. Shes the only one Ill go to from now on!

Zahrin is incredibly talented and works quickly but I never feel rushed or like they have overbooked the schedule (which has happened to me at other salons from time to time). I had a hair emergency to correct a haircut and color from elsewhere. I made a phone call first thing Monday morning and got Jenny. She asked a few questions and asked how soon I could come in. I got there within 20 mins and met with Bailey who looked at my hair talked to me and suggested a few things and then checked to see if they could get me in to start the repair process. Amazingly she came back and said they could do it. She did my color which was a highlight and lowlight to repair the orangey brassy color I had.....ITS LITERALLY ONE OF THE BEST COLORS IVE HAD!! She did a gloss and a treatment to my hair that is now so soft and well on its way to be healthy again. Amelia stepped in to handle the cut and I cannot begin to tell you how much I love the way she cut my hair and her attention to detail and how excited she was to see the transformation of my hair during the styling process. I would 100% recommend Bailey and Amelia for whatever service you need as they are both wonderful stylist!!! I cant wait to come back for my next appointment!!! Thank you so very much for taking such great care of my hair and what I thought was a hopeless situation!!!!

Goldwaves has always been about excellent quality, clean and organized, but since COVID-19 they have been on over-drive. They have developed such a great, well-thought out process that I have no hesitation about going or referring others. Kudos to management and the team.

I love this salon and the people who work here. I’ve visited twice already. The people up front warmly greet you and provide any beverage you want. The salon team works hard to make sure you get the results you’re looking for. I left both times with the softest hair ever!

I saw Natalie for our first visit yesterday and she was amazing! She was immediately familiar with the texture of my hair without me having to explain my challenges and did a great job. I tend to be anxious about getting my hair cut and she was super respectful of that. It’s a little on the pricy side for the top level stylists, but to me it felt worth it. The salon itself was very nice and well kept, all staff I interacted with were so kind, Natalie did a great job and explained the products she was using throughout (plus gave me some tips to prioritize at home for a lower maintenance recreation), and weird thing to compliment but I loved the sinks - they were adjustable and allowed for the most comfortable hair wash I’ve ever had at a salon. Great experience!

When I moved to Fort Worth a few years ago I started looking for a stylist. A friend recommended Gin at Goldwaves. She is the best! Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Every visit she checks to see if my hair is dry, if I need some weight taken out or if she recommends modifications on the cut. I always feel confident that she is treating each visit uniquely. You can see that she takes pride in her work. I have long, thick hair and have really struggled in the past to find someone who could cut my hair without destroying the shape. Thankfully my search is over, Gin is by far the best Ive ever been to.

I have been going to Gold Waves for about 3 years now. My husband bought me a gift certificate for a day of pampering and I have never gone anywhere else since! Angie has magic hands (her shampoos are mini-massages!) and my hair cut is always flawless! And that is saying A LOT since she is the first to be able to cut my hair correctly. Delilah takes care of my brows for me with her cool hands and gentle touch. They were mutilated by a cheap salon but Delilah has them back to normal now and maintained beautifully! My 28 yr old daughter was recently a model for one of their classes and her haircut was also flawless! Thank you Joanna. Everyone there is friendly & helpful. Clean salon with a great atmosphere! Its like visiting friends. :)

I recently moved to the Fort Worth area and was looking for a good quality salon. Goldwaves Salon was just that! They have such a warm and friendly atmosphere and an aesthetically pleasing salon layout. The receptionists were kind and very helpful. I went with Kristina for a full set of highlights and a haircut. She saved my hair! Being a far west Texas girl we are certainly not used to humidity. She worked with me to understand what cut I wanted as well as the new color Im going for. I have extremely dark brown hair (as close to black as you can get without actually being black) and wanted to go to a lighter brown. She gave me exactly that and I have had numerous compliments on my color. But what I really appreciated is that I felt like I was included in the entire experience. From getting my hair done to having actual conversations with Kristina and other stylists in her work area I felt more than just someone paying to get my hair done. Its safe to say, by this fairly lengthy review, that I was not only pleased with the work done on my hair but with the salon and its staff as a whole. So happy to have found my new salon!

Goldwaves is the most professional salon Ive ever been to (and Im 62)! All the women there are courteous, knowledgeable about the products they sale and quick to offer help. I love my Stylist and the advice she gives me with my hair goals. My only complaint is I wish they had a more affordable line of products. Everything they sell is pretty pricey. But I just wait until they have a discount day!

My hair has never been healthier or looked better than it does with the care and service from Goldwaves. The customer service is unlike anyplace in town; the staff spends time finding out my wants and needs. Youre treated like a valued person, not just another customer. Theres also a great vibe at Goldwaves -- theres a very upbeat energy. Everyone is really happy to be there, happy to come to work...and its contagious. You feel happy to be there, too. I see Zarhan every 4 weeks for color, cut and a very good blowout. There are other stylists at Goldenwaves, but she gets me and my hair. She is excellent in determining what you want, what style would look good on you and how to make that happen. She is extremely professional and a very sweet young woman. I will go no where else! She takes her time and never makes you feel rushed. She also has an excellent knowledge of all products sold at the front and which ones would be good for you. Zarhan is very busy and in demand, so I would suggest that you book your next appointment when you leave.

I love them! They do excellent highlights! Each level of stylist depends on the cost. I pay $102 plus tip for a partial highlight. I think my girl is a level 3.

Nope nope nope. I came here because I was given a gift card and I did my research prior to going. I thought, “well if it’s $68 a haircut or more then it must be good.” Saw all the reviews and set an appointment. Appointment for disappointment. The girl that cut my hair, simple cut and dry, took two hours! She clearly didn’t know what she was doing and took so long to cut it that MY HAIR WAS ALREADY DRY! She kept asking me like this? Like that? Lord she had no idea! My hair is finally dry and cut and she starts blow drying it....why????? It dry and ugly now! I had money left over on the gift card so I’d thought I’d get a product. Cheapest thing was a $20 lipstick that I will give away since the price is equivalent to MAC lipstick and MAC is better.Just because you fancy up an older home, claim to send higher end products, and have Mac computers at the front doesn’t mean you are a top notch place. I know better places with higher professionalism, experience, and sincerity.BOP to this place!

I have been going to Goldwaves for over three years! I always go to Molly but, have occasionally seen other stylists when I do not plan properly and need to get in quick! I have always been 100% thrilled with my cut and color! They all do a fabulous job and make you feel comfortable and relaxed! I have always loved everything about Molly and everyone at Goldwaves but, I really learned the type of people and business it was when we decided to try something new with my hair and I was not as thrilled with it as I would have liked. Molly and everyone at Goldwaves were AMAZING, they did everything they could to make my hair exactly what I wanted it to be and I could not have left happier!! They were incredible and so understanding!! So I can honestly say that the crew at Goldwaves is the absolute best!!!!

Ive been going to Goldwaves now for about 8-9 years now & I couldnt imagine going any other place! Ive only used Elizabeth for cut/color (& ALWAYS loved it!), but have used several other stylists for blow-drys, waxing or other amenities & have always been pleased. The atmosphere is wonderful, staff always friendly & products always top-notch. If you live anywhere near the Fort Worth area, I highly recommend this wonderful salon!!

This place did my bridal portraits with a two month advance notice. I called to make a bridal appointment and a wedding day appointment. I asked them if I needed to do a run through. I was told for my bridal pics since I was only going to do my hair half way up I wouldnt need to but for my wedding day I would need to do a trial run. I asked for the best person they had to do my hair and I was assured this person was good. My appointment was at 3 I was told it would take about 45 min to an hour, and I was on time. I made my makeup appointment at 5 just in case we ran into any trouble. Before we even started I showed the girl a picture of what I wanted. I have long hair and she said it was perfect for what I wanted. I said are you sure you can do this she again said yes. Before we started she got another girl to come and look at the picture. I again questioned her are you sure you can do this? Yes. The entire time I had the picture pulled up on my phone. She started to pin it after she curled it and it wasnt looking at all like the picture. She took it down started again. Nothing. She then went and got the other lady who had seen the picture to help her. Again nothing. It is now 5:15!!!!!!! I have missed my makeup appointment I said just stopped. I got up walked out and I was in tears. Do you think she or even the manager bothered to call me? No. Not one person from this salon has bothered to care. My hair looked like a mullet it was pinned back so tight with a rooster on the top. It was so hideous when I showed the people I work with my pic vs. my hair they were laughing at me saying I look like Billy Ray Cyrus!!! I came home and took my hair down. I ended up just fixing my hair my self. I was late to my pics which made me not get the full shoot done. I truly hope someone is spared by my experience!!!! After 30 min of my hair looking dumb I shouldve just got up. Lesson learned bigtime!! I will never get another opportunity to take my pictures the way I wanted to.....Still heartbroken!!!!

These people use chemicals in their dye that made me deathly ill for hours and turned my hair from blond to brassy ugly red and I would think twice before spending a fortune here for them to make you sick and do exactly what you told them not to. There are more employees here than customers and none of them are really busy. They hang around up front for another sucker to walk in. I will never go back to these amateurs!!
