I met with a physician’s assistant today for a follow-up after surgery. She was kind, professional, and did a good job answering my questions. My appointment was on time and I didn’t have to wait around to be seen.

Loved Dr. Sassmannhausen as he treated me like an educated adult who knew my body. Very factual, game me my options and let me choose. Surgery was great as was the aftercare. Phone number to call before surgery for any questions. And, check ins with app after. Great experience!

Todd DeTurk has made me feel comfortable and cared for every visit I’ve had with him. He and Dr. Sass are an exceptional team to have on your side (or better said knee and shoulder) when body parts get a little funky. Highly recommended!

The place was so busy people were being hearded in and out. They need a different strategy to deal with a large number of clients at once. The lady at the door was loud and rude to patients. She had to yell across the room to call people, so she kept the same loud volume with everything. She was rude to this poor older man and everyone heard it. Her tone with him was condescending. When he decided to stay she loudly told him that he would have a long wait because lots of people were in front of him. He never said he was in a hurry. Her choice of wording came out strange. She was also loud and rude to and elderly lady with a walker. The lady sat in the wrong area because she couldnt find a seat in the waiting area. The employee didnt help her. Instead, she yelled across the room as if the lady committed a crime and told her she couldnt just go in that she had to check in first. The confused lady said she checked in and the employee, again, loudly, argued that she did not and had to sit in the other room. The women were upset by the way they were treated.

Dr. Eddys energy always brightens up the exam room. Although hes very busy and efficient, his exams (of the specific injury) are thorough; and he takes the time to explain various treatment options.Side note: I had a two-inch incision as a result elbow surgery (18-months ago). He is a gifted surgeon, as I barely notice the scar.

Dr Hall was kind, compassionate, and caring.He thoroughly explained everything to me.I would tell anyone to use him for their hand issues.

I love coming to FT. Wayne even though it is a drive but highly worth it. I dont believe in all my life and Ive been around for a long time that I have had a wonderful experience with the doctors and the nurses. You all are a fantastic team. Very friendly and efficient staff. Dr Brandon Huggins took his time answering my questions, explaining the results of my MRI, and going over treatment options with me. I didnt feel rushed or pressured.

My appointment was at 1:30pm. The check-in counter has six bays, at least three bays were not manned by any employees; therefore, when I entered the building, I was the third person waiting in line. It took 5 - 10 minutes for the rest of windows to become occupied and patients to be processed in.After checking in, I waited a little bit and then was called in to have a x-ray taken. After that I waited awhile in the waiting room.Except for all the waiting, I am very pleased with Dr. Eddy. I know I made an excellent choice in selecting him to do my surgery.His staff is friendly and although I know they are very busy, no one makes me feel like I’m rushed through.

Staff was very personable & upbeat … easy to correspond with. Dr. Caudell took his time with my appointment & didn’t seem rushed even though he was running behind due to a lengthy case ahead of me. I would recommend this facility to others.

They were very busy but didnt have to wait very long. Wished a more detailed orders were sent back for the nursing home.16 week follow up. They werent as busy today but still didnt have to wait for X Rays or to see the doctor.

Emergency access to a full range of diagnostic, non-surgical and surgical treatments. And the best part is, there’s never an appointment or referral needed. So you can get in, get out and get going again., so not true. Been here in waiting room for over 3 hours so far.

Had a very good experience, with Fort Waune Orthopedics. Their staff was pleasent and helpful. Check in and registrion were quick and easy. The nurses were very easy and made the patient at ease while waiting for the drs visit.The dr was easy during the exam. Checked everything out. Made recommendations for treatment and next visit.Was very happy with the experience. Plan on using them for other Orthopedic procedures or treatments.

From check in with Whitney to registered nurse Cathy and of course appointment with Dr.Rahn I felt very confident with all of them. I was treated with respect and kindness. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend family and friends to this team.

Dr. Schultz, his PA, David, and my nurse, whose name I now cant remember (sorry), are all top notch! Very professional, personable, knowledgeable and also very caring! Dr. Hall is amazing. Waking up while they were still finishing my arm, not so much. And for the nurse, (or whatever her job title is),that was discussing my scars with such cattiness, that scar isn’t from a suicide attempt, it was a broken glass in a sink full of soapy water. Ask next time instead of discussing me like a piece of roadkill.

Always fast but personal care. Dr. Swartz removed a cyst from my finger a couple years ago and he’ll be doing my carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists. He’s the best. 👍🏻

Check in was cumbersome, overcrowdedAnd unfair. After standing in line for several minutes, my wife was told she could not wait with me. She went out to the car while I waited and observed at least six other couples where the spouse was allowed to stay. So slow and crowded some had to stand while waiting. After waiting 30 minutes to be checked in, I was called and everything went great with doctor and nurses. They apologized for the bottleneck at the reception, but seemed helpless to change it..

First of all, I would like to say thank you to the staff at fort Wayne orthopedics. The nurse was very friendly and helpful. Mr Todd, physicians assistant came in and talked to me to see what no problem was. Then, he proceeded to tell me the different options that I had. He was friendly, knowledgeable.

So very pleased with everything about my visit.Very nice people that make it easy to navigate through the process.Very organized with little waiting time was great.

I saw Dr. Joshua Winters this morning and he was great! Looked at my MRI of my lumbar and said I didnt need surgery,! He prescribed 8 weeks of physical therapy! He didnt lie or exaggerate my issue and recommend surgery! The staff, from registration to physicians is wonderful! Thank you to all!!🙂😊

I arrived a bit ahead and was immediately taken care of by a front desk person! I then was sent to X-ray and taken care of immediately! Then seated in one of the operatories. This was the best experience I could have ever asked for. I had surgery 2 days before Christmas and was treated phenomenally well by my doctor, my nurses, and all of the staff! I would recommend anyone go to Fort Wayne Orthopedics as the love and professionalism shown are unmatched.

My appointment went well. I had to tell the nurse why I was there to see doctor. Doctors PA came in and told her same thing I told the nurse and gave me choices what I could have done. I decided and she left and doctor came and discussed my decision and was done

The doctor was very nice and thorough, but he did not see us for 1.5 hours after our scheduled visit time and nobody took the time to explain why he was so far behind! Also, nobody, including the doctor, apologized for the delay! Our time is valuable also!

Went about as smoothly as an appointment can go, but there’s a point at which an authority needs to step in when children without masks are being allowed by their guardian to literally run around the waiting room full of injured people, bashing into dividers and almost hitting people in wheelchairs. The terrible behavior and supervision is entirely the guardian’s fault, but seriously, enforce your mask policy more strictly and acknowledge that already injured and immobile patients are being put at risk of being bumped or tripped.

I had a double knee replacement on May 20, 2021. Dr Snyder performed the surgery. Prior to surgery I was extremely happy with Dr Snyder and his staff. He explained what needed to be done and what my options were. I am a self pay patient was was concerned with payment and financing. The staff at FWO was more than helpful and kind. I have had 2 follow up appointments with Dr Snyder and he has been kind, informative and extremely patient with me and any concerns I have had.

Wonderful people to work with. Very sympathetic to your injury. Always give you plenty of information. For you and your wife to make the best decision. For your recovery.

I recently had surgery there and the facility is top notch. What impressed me the most is that everyone I met was extremely nice and did care about me as a person. It started at the reception desk, then the nurses, and all of doctors. Just everyone was caring, helpful and sincere.

I wasnt greeted when I went to check in. The girl was too busy talking to the girl at the next desk. In fact they had a conversation in between her taking my information. Very unprofessional and rude. Also my Dr sent me for an x-ray but his office didnt notify them so I sat and waited for quite a while until a tech asked if I was there for an x-ray. This was all between 8:30 and 9:30 am. Not very good service.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Made me feel at ease. And the whole process was relatively quick I would definitely recommend FWO to anyone.

Would of gave 5 stars because it was my 1st time meeting Dr. Daughtery, Schwartz NP and absolutely LOVED him. BUT front desk was rude and non-welcoming, so that’s why I had to give 4 stars. I can get past that to see great dr.s though. Took excellent care of my son! Thanks again

FWO experiences have always been prompt and helpful for my children and myself. We have had great experiences with Dr Cooper and Dr. Hicks for shoulder surgeries and knee replacement. We have used FWO for sports injuries and follow up. I am also attending physical therapy with in the same building. I can’t thank everyone enough for their professionalism.

Love Dr Koleetis, he helped me when another local doctor messed up my knee replacement. Awesome job by FWO team, friendly and caring. Completes a thorough exam of your knee including manipulating the knee and leg see the pain and if it moves correctly doesnt just rely the xrays. Everything was above and beyond, first was paper work which was fast, then right to X-ray which was very fast and polite, then right to the exam room. Both Doctors were excellent in explaining everything along with their nurse.Everything was on time if not a head of the scheduled times.
