The staff is complete TRASH! I was on the phone for a hour trying to reach my step-father who had a stroke and his speech was affected. First, the staff told me he wasnt there. I debunked that lie. Secondly, the staff was unable to transfer me to his room. Finally, I asked to speak with a manager. I dont expect anyone to call me back because these folks cant manage to answer the phone or transfer a call properly. Im so happy I reside in the great state of Texas and will NEVER have to utilize their services. I never was provided the direct line to my step fathers room and none of their staff could manage to transfer me to his room. Trash!

Incompetent ER Doctor. I later discovered that I was having an allergic reaction to a blood pressure medication which almost killed me. Doctor Rudemouth told me to get the F___ out if his ER that it was just my anxiety, and to stop wasting ER space. This was once one of the best hospitals in Fort Wayne. But that was a long time ago. Dont waste your time at randallia, this place is run down and its day is long past. The next day I went to Lutheran and I received proper decent treatment.

If I had to pick less than one star, I would have done it. I left two messages last week regarding about my sleep machine , which can cause DEATH. but I can get a call back from Parkview sleep centers. The dont care about people lives. Very very sad but true. Nadeem Baig

We arrived in the emergency room for our daughter. I’m not sharing personal information she needed to be seen by somebody. It is now 7 1/2 hours later and were still waiting. (Note: we ended up waiting over 10 hours) The family before us was waiting over 11 hours. The situation my daughter is in is very serious. I don’t understand why they don’t have enough staff to handle the issues my daughter is going through. 7 1/2 hours and we still don’t know when this is going to end. My wife has told an hour and a half ago with it with you very soon. Now it looks like we’re going to be here for another two hours.This is been highly frustrating. Especially for my daughter. This is also very disappointing.

Ive had issues with Parkview offices not answering the telephone. When you show up at the office, frustrated they wont answer, they get prissy cause you walked in. This last time at their Warren, In office they refused to help me. Get rid of the Auto answer service during business hours. The office in Warren is small and no way they are too busy to answer the phone.

So, doctor sent me to get tests two days ago, sends me home telling me to take the nitro for chest pain. The chest pain only increases with the nitro, so I call today and they send me over to the ER. They run the SAME tests with the SAME results! This is getting to feel like a racket, and Im livid!

This hospital is awesome! The nurses are wonderful caring to our mother. The staff is so kind to us. No complaints here. Wonderful service! Thank you!!!!!!

Came in because I have been having severe pain in my uterus and they didnt help. They told me I had a UTI before they ran tests. They didnt really take me seriously at all and they tried to admit me into pbh over some problems in the past. It felt like I was being rushed out of the er. Now Im at a different hospital because after I left parkview I was throwing up, dry heaving and have very watery stools and the place Im at is actually trying to help. I get that yyou have people come in who want to abuse the system to get narcotics or whatever but the fact that I was possibly judged upon that isnt ok.

My daughter is an RN and has cared for her serverly disabled daughter for twenty years. Recently my granddaughter was admitted to Parkview where she had previously been treated numerous time over the years and where my daughters experience was ignored along with my granddaughters medical record. When my RN daughter didnt agree with Parkviews proposed treatment she strongly voiced her opinions. The doctors didnt like her opposition and without discussion had her chastised, insulted and threaten with expulsion if she failed to cooperate with the inappropriate treatment.

Nurse Nate was so amazing and funny as heck. I have never had someone so kind and loving like him before. He was a breath of fresh air....for a hospital staff member lol. It would be so awesome if he got like a reward for being so amazing.

I received amazing care while in the ER and after being admitted. The nurses, doctors, and PCTs were very caring and knowledgeable. Im very thankful for and impressed by the staff at this hospital.

I went to the ER for back spams. Get there pulled no came out no where to park drove around the corner came back an a you lady came out an was very very rude!

Inpatient therapy needs a lot of work they basically starved my mom most of the time she was in there they ordered her a bunch of food she doesn’t even like or can eat she complained to my sister about how hungry she was it’s one thing of your patient can order their own food but when they are not able to it should be someone’s job to make sure it’s done. Also do not bring your own walker into this place I called three times to retrieve my moms because they sent her home without hers I had to order a new one because the head of physical therapy is incompetent and cannot return a phone call so thanks next time we will go somewhere else.

I propose to stop performing ultrasounds before the eighth week of fetal age. Without careful discernment of the mother and the ultrasound technique, there will be a sign of severe prematurity. I have my daughter’s ultrasound pictures. She was born a month early, and she is thriving.The comparison occurred at 1:26:03PM and 1:26:09PM. At 1:26:03PM, the neural connection shows a densely fibrous area of the dura mater and neurons. At 1:26:09 PM, I observed the elasticity of these connections, and my daughter’s eyes were visible. This suggest the occurrence of vision at either stage being dense or elastic with the neurons showing a string of connectivity to the dura mater.In conclusion, the use of optics should be performed only by professionals in a hospital setting and at the discretion of a licensed medical doctor. For application of obstetrics, it should wait until the neurons have a closer connection to the dura mater, which may negate the use of ultrasounds and open the door to biological observation only at the birth of the child.

I cannot give a full report yet, but my sister is admitted with COVID-19. Her bedside phone rang for almost 30 minutes before she answered, so I assume she was sleeping. She was in good spirits, and said she would call back since they are taking her blood. I was shocked that she would not have a nurse pick up for her in that time period. I hope they are doing checks regularly, but Im hoping her monitors would go off to alert them if she had stopped breathing. I cannot give or take any stars yet, because I am not sure. It seems they are quick to send you to the patients room when you call, and my sister seems in high spirits, though a little winded. I asked her if my calling made her winded, and she said yes, but dont stop calling .LOL Then she said she would call me after the phlebotomist arrived. I will let her rest unless she calls. I hope everyone will pray for my sister and the people who are caring for her so that she will get the best care, the staff will remain safe and well, and her space will not be needed because the surge will cease. I will start out by saying we had no issues with Parkview ER or the hospital itself. This review is in regards to the inpatient rehab facility on Randalia. My mom was placed there after a stroke. For the two weeks she was there prior to her transfer to Grey Stone, it was somewhat of a nightmare... Lost and broken hearing aids, very minimal physical therapy, very little personal hygiene care, her meals were often placed out of reach, very long wait times for assistance etc. some of the ‘explanations’ we received were ‘ I forgot’, ‘she didn’t ask’ ( she had just suffered a stroke!) ‘we’re busy’. We contacted the patient advocate office but were offered no assistance except for a hearing aid replacement after we called MULTIPLE times and did all of the leg work ourselves. We are so glad we had her transferred to Grey Stone. She has made wonderful progress there and the staff is great. I hope Parkview will read these reviews and make some improvements.

Worst service I’ve received yet. Went in with a sharp pain and left with the same sharp pain. The Emergency room is supposed to help with serious issues. They didn’t take the time to see what was wrong, instead they rushed me out the room and said I can go home.

Absolute worst hospital around. Purposely let my brother die beacuse they needed to free up a ventilator for someone else. Discusting and should be shut down completely. The “doctors” in there dont even deserve the title of being called a doctor.

The nurses are rude they literally lock the patient bed to make the patient stay in bed by putting an alarm on the bed. They care more about their job then the patients comfort and the are invasive toward patients privacy.

My mom was there recently and didnt have a great experience, but the one positive aspect of her stay there was her nurse Kingsley. He really showed that he cared, and took the time to sit me down and explain her situation and address all my concerns. We need more people in the world like Kingsley! He sets the standard for what a nurse should be like.

We had to visit Parkview Hospital this weekend with my autistic son because he sprained his ankle at the trampoline park. This is the first time when dealing with emergency medical personnel that every single person was understanding and helpful with my sons autism and his communication limitations. The entire staff we saw was just above and beyond kind and helpful.

I went to the ER and Dr wanted to do an MRI. I never had it done because nobody was scheduled. They were called in to to this. This is no way to run a hospital.

Completed my internship here, absolutely loved the facility and the staff was so nice and welcoming. Especially Marge, Regina, and Ann from the laboratory department. They went out of their way to help me and make me feel comfortable!Thanks Parkview!

Easy access. Valet parking forthose times you cant get around. plus volunteers to help get you where you are going. They happily guide you to your destination.

Brought my son to the ER, they were super nice through the entire process. Sometimes Ive had grumpy people when Ive been to other hospitals so it was pretty refreshing and nice to see kind people and smiling faces.

Received a letter from Alice Perry of patient advocates office addressing our complaint about our mothers substandard care a couple months ago. The letter only defended their poor care and did not express acknowledgment that they could have done a better job. The letter also had incorrect information saying that their social worker called me and I did not respond. My phone logs prove that to be untrue.

Hospital billing is an embarrassment and deceptive. I filled 13 last year and they are trying to collect a debt that was included. I did everything right and am in a 100 percent payback however it isnt my problem if you did not file proof of claim the amount while small is still money they are already getting paid thru the courts. I have made multiple call to get this resolved and been met with I dont know or telling me to call there collection agency. No! You were served and you broke relief of stay by taking funds this needs resolved but only goes to to crooked practice of the way they manipulate the system to get double paid. Parkview make this right I did my part. Put back the money you swept for aBill i dont have rights to. Plus the money is going to pay for money coming in will have this year. Billing should see this was a flagged bk 13 and know they cant take the funds !

I am at home right now and my boyfriend has been there for almost 3 days now and I cant call him his phone in his room isnt taking any calls in so I have to call the nurses desk and ask them to go to his room and ask him to call home. They are taking good care of him but I am very mad the hospital havent fixed his phone can the owner please answer how long it takes to fix a phone

This review concerns Dr. James Craig Stevens, a physician at Parkview Hospital. The way in which this man spoke to my father was appalling. Any referral to James Craig Stevens should be disregarded; find a different doctor.

BEST EXPERIENCE. My friend walked into the ER with an eye injury and we got two nurses in the room Corey and Richard! Super helpful and empathetic. Worked with us and had a smile on the whole time. Made us feel very welcome and I would definitely feel safe bringing family here!

So my rate is based on the “attendant” in the ER today 4-13-2019 @2:52pm the ONlY reason I rate a one is because she is on her phone talking with someone on a video chat not even walking all the way out to ask the people that do pull up if they need a wheel chair! Plus I feel like the video chat should definitely go against patient privacy! She’s sitting in a chair worried about being on the phone then doing her job CORRECTLY!

Ive rarely had good experiences at Parkview. I like my two doctors (That are in the Parkview system), but I can do without the hospitals. Ive rarely had good service, and if you are a patient, especially when you are sick or in pain, not being treated well is the last thing you want. Ive had nurses who refused to give me my ordered medications until I contacted the doctor on my own. Ive had staff whove forgotten me when my wife was heading to the OR for an emergency C-Section. This last experience was horrible. I had someone who flat out lied to me after they changed the entire schedule - and no one from Parkview could be bothered to tell me. That instructions for the testing werent even close to correct. It was a multi-day test, and EVERY time I was there they told me something different and it all ended up being INCORRECT. What I actually needed to do, they wouldnt tell me until I was leaving that I needed to do something that wasnt at all what they had told me the previous day, or when I got there to start the test. I only went here to make it more convenient for my doctor, but the next time, Ill go back to Lutheran Health Network. They are for profit, and I always end up paying LESS than I do at Parkview, and Ive never been treated as poorly at Lutheran or Dupont than I am routinely treated at Parkview facilities.

The treatment was nice, but the bill was ridiculously high. You will be paying 5 to 10 times more then what you are expected to pay even with insurance. You’re better off going to Dekalb Health.

They charge only 50.00 for the ct heart scan and 79.00 for the vascular scan ..I had a kidney stone ..they had me do a ct scan to verify the stone..got a bill they charged over 2000.00 for the ct scan...what a rip off when the ct heart scan and vascular scan cost a total of 130.00

After having a simple neck ultrasound at Parkview Warsaw I received a bill for $1000 after insurance. I looked up the fair market price for the neck ultrasound and it is only $390. After trying to negotiate the price down to fair, Parkview claims they do not negotiate on price. Stay away from this place! They are way overpriced for the service I received!

They didnt do much for my mum in the picture when she was hours from passing away from cancer.....no medicine or anything!!!! My name is Emma. I went there one time when I was very under the weather and vomiting and sat in the waiting room waiting to be seen & told good luck to you and was asked to leave!!! Although when I had my anxiety attack in the cafeteria they did take me to the er & gave medication that made me break out into hives

Went in for surgery and I couldnt be happier with my experience. The absolute nicest staff, doctors, and nurses I have ever had to deal with. My nurses were the absolute best, from pre op to recovery. Excellent experience all the way around.

Great people!! Lousy website. Terrible phone tree.I needed to refill a prescription for eye drops from the outpatient pharmacy. I needed to know if the Randallia pharmacy had it in stock or if I had to go to another location. I called 6 times over a period of 1 1/2 hours, the hospital general number, the pharmacy number, etc. Got either no answer at all, message telling me to leave a voicemail to be returned within 24 hours, etc. On 6th call, got to a person who asked me my name and my doctors name; then, without any further comment, transferred me to my doctors office.I tried to work through the Parkview website. Found lots of info about how great Parkview is, the awards it won, the great careers available, and how to volunteer or make a financial donation. Nothing about how to get contact with the pharmacy or get my eye drops refilled. Lots of good stuff about pharmacy careers though, and some awards it won.From a non-Parkview source I finally got a direct number into the pharmacy. The ladies there were immediately helpful. They called upstairs to make sure the medicine was available and told me my wife could pick it up for me. They even made sure I knew how long it would be before I could get it. They should get a pat on the back. They are the only reason this is not a zero-star review.You guys need to look at your phone tree and website from a user perspective. Maybe a little less about you and a bit more about serving the people who need you.

Love Everything about Parkview, my insurance sucks (as most do now!!) but Ive had a few emergency visits and surgeries, with bills 2500-7500 they have always sent me to 1st Source Bank to finance my bills, very nice setup - they have helped me rebuild my credit.

The hospital is a state of the art facility. They really did great the 23 days I spent there. But their billing department is awful! They refuse to work out a manageable payment with you. I was always told if you make a monthly payment that they cant send you to collections but guess what. They can if you dont meet their unrealistic monthly expectations. Even when you explain they are not your only debtor

Takes our food?? Dumps our drinks?? I dont think so. This hospital has been worse than any of the parkviews. Ive been staying here with my mom, and they came in the room WHILE WE WERE SLEEPING to search our stuff, also without warning, then they took our drinks and dumped them. And took our food. Im a guest up here, and they are taking my food when thats all I have and dipping my drinks when thats all I have, and the nurses wont let me have ice or a drink from their stations. We also have to worst care and service here. Very few nurses have even been remotely nice to us during our stay. Better care for you I dont think so. You guys need to fix your slogan to be something more realistic, such as, Making sure your stay is horrible and costs you a fortune. Thanks for nothing Parkview Randellia.

I went there last night and I was pregnant and was in a lot of pain.. they told me that the baby and I were fine and a couple hours after I left I miscarried.

Great E.R. Staff explain things well.

My son and i had to go to the er last night for a bad fall. Everyone there was so nice and caring. They had to do xrays and it was my 4 y.o first time so i was pretty nervous but the guy was great with him and helped him feel at ease. Same with the dr and nurse i had. It was our first time dealing with a fracture..stint and sling and they were all so helpful and kind. Best experience ive ever had at an er. Even the receptionists were super nice when we arrived. 5 star treatment for sure! Thank you guys ♡

THE WORST CUSTOMERS SERVICE SKILLS EVER! I live two hours away, my 31 year old daughter was admitted to the ER because of a dental procedure that went bad at Lakewood Family Dental because they didnt know what they were doing causing cuts in her throat to the point she couldnt swallow because it started swelling. I call the hospital to see what they are doing about her condition and how serious it is. I talk to 3 people in a matter of two minutes then I get put on hold for over 20 minutes. What the hell is that? I am on the phone worried getting ready to get in the car to drive 2 hours to make sure my daughter is okay. And not one person can pick uo the damn phone for over 20 minutes on hold. So very unprofessional its disrespectful and disgusting. This hospital has the worst people skills. No responsibility, no respect for others.

I love Parkview. I have been to the ER so many times and they are always very helpful. Sometimes It can be slow getting seen. They made sure I understood what was going on and explained things very well. The doctors have always been very friendly. I was having pains on my side so i went to the walk in clinic and the NP sent some tests and it ended up being a problem with my gallbladder. Saw a Surgeon not even 2 hours after finding out, He was very friendly and nice. Whenever I have had surgeries the nurses are so friendly and make sure that I am comfortable and helped me with pain. They are amazing!!

Parkview is great the staff are awesome. My only problem is there billing department! I love how Parkview thinks its ok to call you about a bill thats not due to remind you that you have a bill. Please dont waste my time. Who came up with this bright idea? Call the people that are past due and leave the rest of us alone. I spent 15 min on the phone calling you back to find out something I knew.

A close friend was in a serious car accident. I met him at the ER. While hes laying in the ER the nurse acted absolutely horrible toward him. Yanking his clothing off, talking to him with a horrible tone of voice, and it didnt stop there. Once he was in a room I stepped out to use a public restroom, the conversations I overheard, words dont describe. Then once he was out of the hospital, their administration sent letters talking about loans on peoples property within a week!! WTH!! These people are more interested in making billions than they are giving proper treatment!!!

Im surprised at the ratings that Im reading. Ive been there twice in 2 years and everyone was very helpful and accommodating. Out of the 2 times I was just hospitalized once and everyone on my care team was awesome. I prefer Randallia over PRMC.

My mother had horrible care there.. They would not bathe her or help her to the bathroom.. They had her pee on a potty pad like some animal. She will NEVER go to Parkview again!!

I currently work there onsite as subcontractor jobsite supervision. Great staff, both clinical and non clinical. Still has a family, community hospital feel. Very welcoming and comforting.

The worst hospital experience I have ever experienced in my life. They put my child with special emotional needs into their FILTHY and absolutely DISGUSTING behavioral health room with nothing in it.... for running out of the other room and allowed my son to hurt himself during a meltdown from being EXTREMELY afraid because they asked me to walk out of the room. Do not bring your family here.

Visited a week back had no problems. However I called because there is some issues with getting my medication and the women on the phone was so disrespectful and rude that I got of the phone and almost cried. I would avoid this place. I would even go to st. Joe over here and.

Well I give them a very very poor rating because of the fact that they release my grandma didnt call Hospice to let them know that they were going to release and the medication she was supposed to be on she was supposed to be on it for 12 hours started it around 1 p.m. and released her around approximately 6pm thats not 12 hours and nothing at the nursing home is ready for her if anything happens you know what will happen...

I would love to know why a hospital would not clean a head wound when the person comes to the ER. Got a shot and ct and they had me leave. Never once did they clean the wound or disinfect it. yall couldnt make shur my eye didnt get infected or that is was properly cleaned. Thats some bull.

I was in Parkview in May. Upper lobe of right lung removed. Was on a lot of pain killers. I had the best time with them all, was not in pain, so when I came to I made up my mind, I would make it fun. The Nurses are the best an the 2nd floor. Dr. Grey, I teased him right along with them. So If you do not feel half bad, please make it fun for yourself and them.May God bless them all.

2 hour wait in the emergency room, while people who came in after get to go right back. Watched multiple people walk out while waiting to be treated and the gentleman at the reception desk just says good luck. Horrible service.

My Wife needed a head scan and her physician recommended she get it done here. We was charged $2287 for the scan. We have not met our deductible so it will come out of our pocket. I have found out we could have had the exact same scan done at Dupont hospital or Community Memorial for $700-$800. This place is part of our health care problem!! You better shop around before going here. I found this out too late but hopefully I can stop someone else from making this mistake. We have been going here for years but not any longer!!

Great service and friendly staff. I was there for the sleep study. Thank you for diagnosing me with mild Sleep Apnea. Now I have a CPAP Machine and Im sure this has saved my life. I have more energy during the day. Thanks Parkview Hospital.

I went today to see a cardiologist at entrance 4.I went to the front desk and some snobby lady named Jamie told me I did not have an appt and was no where in there system.i tried to show her my appt card and she told me it must be a drsmistake and told I needed to contact them and it wasnt her issue.i ask her to plz call them and she refused.I stepped outside and called registration and they told me to go back in and let them talk to the lady at the desk.As the lady from registration was trying to explain to her the issue she just rolled her eyes .After not getting no where with her the lady from registration ask me if there was another desk to go to and not 20 feet away was a lady who did find out I had an appt and was able to process me through to make my appt.Then the heavy set lady Jamie came over and straight up lied to the desk recreation and told her that she had told me to go there in first place.Parkview has no care or concern in correcting these complaints or there would not be as many as there are.

The only reason I’m giving one star is because I don’t have to option to give no stars! To the doctor and nurse who treated my son for a pitbull attack and didn’t give him an X-ray and we drove 900miles back home to find out that he had a transverse fracture 7 days later shame on you!!!! I will NEVER EVER come here again nor recommend anyone to come here as well!!!!!

Ive went here twice in 48hours to simply have my finger drained because i got an infection from studio nails..i get there and the doctor stabs my finger repeatedly in the wrong place after i already communicated to him where it was my finger needed to be poked. So needless to say i left in way more pain than i came in and my finger is still infected right now. Im a dental student, i cant be walking around here with this digusting abscess on my finger. I pay out of pocket for my insurance so i should receive the treatment i pay for.

Alert!!! New patient cost is $341.00. With my very good insurance that amounts to $162,17 out of pocket for a short 20 min appointment to refill 3 prescriptions - no exam! This place is a complete ripoff. Good doctors - outrageous prices. Avoid!!!!

Sadly, I was admitted to the hospital almost immediately checking in the ER. However, the staff was nothing but exceptional! They did everything in their abilities to make sure that my stay and treatment was spot on! Thank you all so much!

My son was admitted to this Hospital yesterday. I find that the nurses are rude and no bedside manner! When I called to see when his colonoscopy was scheduled they told me they dont schedule they just come and take them whenever they can! Hes a grown man but will not tell them that hes in so much pain. So I told him to tell them and they give him Tylenol? I would never go to that Hospital and neither will he again!!! And,Dr dont cummicate with you!

It is my belief that both Parkview Randalia and PRMC records and radiology imaging systems are compromised. Either due to malware, or pure ignorance. It has been confirmed, at least personally, that records have been shuffled and are not of the correct patients. This includes imaging and pathology reports. Trying to work with staff to correct this issue gets you nowhere. They simply trust their own corruption.

My grandma Middaugh used to reside here. I remember eating in your cafe and getting Pop Tarts from a vending machine.

2 Networks and Parkview is the lesser of the 2evils. If you want your test results discarded on the ER floor, wait 48mins for a call light to be answered, and have items come up missing from the ER; dont look any further - just stop in at Parkview and they will make sure your service is less than what can be desired.👏🏼👌🏼👍🏼

From receptionist to doctor, some of the best service Ive ever experienced.This facility, while being updated, still has that solid community foundation that is very reassuring when a loved one needs the best care.

Im a cancer patient on vacation to Fort Wayne,Indiana.. I started having serious chest pain and was feeling all around sick.. I went into parkview randallia to be seen, I was in there two minutes at the most and was being wheeled into the back to be seen.. it was most likely the best care I have ever received!.. (I had a P.A Samantha Norman..very good)..compassionate, caring doctors and nurses is all I encountered while I was there.. thank you parkview!

Earlier today I had surgery scheduled at PRMC, but at the last minute, literally, I received a call from Parkview Randallia asking where I was. Initially I was annoyed, but then she explained that Parkview Regional was running quite a few hours behind (like 4-5)due to some emergency surgeries and if I wanted to drive across town, they could get me in as soon as I arrived, because they had an open schedule. Needless to say it was a no brainer, we drove across Ft Wayne to Parkview Randallia and I was in and out before my original surgery time at PRMC. Everyone there was so nice and friendly. I was very impressed that they took the initiative to contact me and figure out a way to get my surgery done still, since it was technically a short chemo port removal, instead of making me wait for hours. I only remember two of my nurses names, Linda & Kat, but ALL of them were awesome, and so wonderful because I was incredibly nervous. I know a lot of people seem to hate Parkview, but I’ve never had a bad experience with them ever! They have saved my life, literally and I have met some of the sweetest, most caring nurses and staff while a patient. Even at PRMC there are wonderful doctors and nurses.Now Lutheran on the other hand, that’s a place you go to if you want a doctor to kill you. Almost two years ago, when I first found out about my cancer, I initially saw an oncologist there and that crack pot thought he could kill cancer with narcotics, not chemo and radiation and that doctor threatened me when I pointed out narcotics don’t treat Cancer. He also was very inappropriate by asking to examine my breasts 10 minuets into my first ever meeting with him about the cancer in my pelvis. He was reported to the state. Unfortunately he still is a doctor there, and also that awful doctor is only one of many that Lutheran employs, so I steer clear.Ultimately to each their own, but Parkview is pretty good 👍🏼. There is some room for improvement, especially the way their financial services department does things. If I’ve lost my job because of the cancer that tried to kill me, and I can’t work because of a broken screwed up back, I can’t afford the payments that are more than my rent. Also their financial department shouldn’t base your payments off income you don’t get when you apply for assistance, like when they demand my tax returns from last year when I had a job, but now since I’m unable to work, they still seem to think they can base my payments off income I don’t get. And for some reason they think my husband makes 20,000$ more than he actually does. Even when I called to ask them to explain how they came up with that they couldn’t make sense and it all sounded like BS and I was told “ if you or your husband works any overtime, even if it’s just a few hours once a week, we factor that in as an everyday occurrence every week for the whole year”. The woman I spoke with didn’t see the glaring problem with that at all. If it weren’t for their extremely screwed up financial department I would have given them 5 stars.

Avoid this location at all costs- they literally torture their patients

My niece is there being treated very poorly, no one knock on doors the just walk in, holding her meds, no bed baths my family has been giving them to her!, if you complain the nursing staff treats you even worse!, I cant believe after a leg amputation there is no compassion form anyone on stafff! Very disappointed!!!

Im here now and ive been waiting for hours and nothing has happened worst staff ever! They dont care about the patient theyre getting paid regardless were sitting here watching them play on their phones and everything. Will never be coming back here.

Great staff who know their science and art.

This hospital is huge, and like most services, it depends who you get.My first trip to the ER was a nightmare. In so much pain I could barely see, think, or talk, all they would do for the first 45 minutes was bombard me with questions, and then berate me because they could not understand the answers. Now, I realize they need to know your conditions and medications before they give you anything. But, seriously, cant your address and insurance wait a few minutes until youre not crying and shaking?! Eventually I get a painkiller and CT scan, which turned out to be less than useful. Even though I told that doctor (several times) that the majority of my pain was on the left, he insisted it was only a small infection on the right, and a UTI. I was discharged with a couple of scripts for antibiotics. Luckily, I already had labs in at my GPs office. That nurse called me the next day to say there was no sign of intestinal infection, saving me an unnessicary round of strong antibiotics.Needless to say, I was back in the ER a couple weeks later with the same pain, but this time it went much better. I received some pain meds within about fifteen minutes. That doctor, thankfully, did not miss the eight mm (!) kidney stone on the left, and I was scheduled for surgery. The staff at laser surgery couldnt have been have nicer. They were very friendly and reassuring.The staff on my ward was a mix. Two of the nurses were absolutely wonderful. While one might as well have been a robot. She never looked at or spoke to me. Just did her thing and left. Though she did comply with my one request of her, even when I thanked her, she made no acknowledgement of my existence.However, the worst part of that visit was the ward doctor, who unilaterally decided I should no longer get the pain meds Id been prescribed. Luckily, the night nurse advocated fiercely on my behalf. Though I did spend about three hours in a lot of pain, it couldve been worse.Overall, Parkview can be fantastic, or it can be hell. The staff can be amazing, but a few can leave much to be desired.

My grandmother has been admitted to this facility multiple times. This current visit she has been cared for it has been difficult to get questions answered when she was still in the ED. When asked for answers to specific questions pertaining to her condition, lab values, medications, etc, it was very difficult to get a straight answer. Most of the tome is was, “it’s a little low” or “her blood is not acidotic”. I don’t like to tell people I work in healthcare because I hate when people do it to me. However when I ask a specific question give me that specific answer. The medsurg floor is a little suspect. When a patient is admitted for pneumonia and her O2 sat in the ED was in the 80’s and they had her on oxygen why would you not continue it? Maybe it was the doc that didn’t order to continue it, but when I walk in to visit her and I personally check her sat and it is 84% I’m a little upset with the care. I will give kudos to Meghan, she is a very kind nurse taking care of my grandmother though. The rest of the hospital, probably would not be my first recommendation to people.

Every time I call they put me on hold for anywhere 25 min to 1 1/2 hours just to be put on hold for another 20 min to 55 min then I get to talk to someone and that is any given day or time as much money you guys suck out of your patients and the insurance you greedy people need to quit being so cheap and hire more receptionists or take a class from your competition Lutheran you call them you are talking to someone within 10 min.

This place is not family supportive. My sister almost lost her son from a auto accident and even after a wk thry wouldnt give her a bed to sleep in even for a couple hrs. No meals and no support services at all. The told me well she can go home. Would you leave your baby with brain damage? I think not...

In December of 2014 I was about 7 weeks pregnant when my Ohio OBGYN suspected that I had a tubal pregnancy. We were in Indiana visiting relatives so she sent us to the ER to take care of it. The only good thing I have to say about Parkview is that they were INITIALLY very nice and polite. They nicely took several tests, a few of which were unnecessary (there was no need for two different ultrasounds; Im 7 weeks pregnant...they tell you right away that is too early to see anything through any ultrasound, especially the external one on your tummy). They nicely said they didnt know what was wrong. Then they nicely sent us home without treating or diagnosing a thing. Two days later we ended up in an Ohio hospital. They treated us and then monitored us to make sure I was okay.The bill for Parkview? $2,222.00 after insurance (it was $3,000 something before). Zero services rendered.The bill for the Ohio hospital? $500 after insurance ($750 before insurance). Complete care given.Parkview charged excessively for each test they took. That extra, useless external ultra sound cost $900. The internal one cost $700. Same machine. The technician took maybe 30 seconds to decide the external one was useless). After looking through each part of the bill and comparing it to the fair price (healthcare bluebook), I found that the fair price would have been $900 for us out of pocket (after insurance).When I called to dispute the bill, they were no longer polite and kind as they had been in the ER. They would not allow any negotiation or change to the bill. The law is on their side. They will allow you to make payments, but that does not help if the charges themselves are outrageous.So, overall... if you dont mind paying ridiculous prices for questionable or no care.. Parkview is your place. However, if youd actually like to receive care and then be fairly charged for that care, you might want to look elsewhere.

This has been the worst hospital experience Ive ever had. My daughter went through an amputation at ParkView Regional medical center 11109 parkview plaza drive In Fort Wayne five days ago and theyre already Shipping her off to rehab. They dont care about people, theyve withheld medication even though the doctor recommends the medication. Nurses are doing whatever they want. Protocols are not followed, and nurses act like theyre the doctors. Where is the compassion, the oath you took to serve these patients and to save lives. Her blood pressure 168/128 in pain almost stroking out and the nurse said that she would play it hour by hour. Not to give her medicine to bring the blood pressure down but to play it hour by hour. Can you tell me who gave this girl her license, cause it need to be revoked.

This place is garbage no information as to what’s happening with the patient and very poor service. more effort put into the food then the actual medical services. lots of “i don’t knows” from employees and very poor comminucation

Horrible experience at Parkview Hospital on Randallia in Fort Wayne, IN a couple of weeks ago. I had endoscopy/colonoscopy with biopsies done.. I had told the staff three times I was concerned about the medication because it had not worked for me during a surgery Id had several years ago. I also told the doctor. The nurse assured me I would be in a twilight state and would not care what was happening. Well, I was awake during colonoscopy yelling and crying. After moving my head back and forth enough I finally managed to get the bite block out of my mouth and was begging for the doctor to stop. Nurse and techs in room held me down while this happened, and kept telling me I was doing fine when I obviously was not. After the procedures were complete, one very caring staff person apologized to me and said that it never should have happened. My husband and I spoke with nurse supervisor in the recovery area who acknowledged that the staff should have advocated for me. Another doctor in the GI group called our house the next day and agreed that the doctor should have stopped and made arrangements to do the procedures under general anesthesia. To make matters worse, when I got copies of my medical records, the doctor had written that I tolerated the procedure well! Unbelievable!!!

There is no rate for any of the Parkviews they are all BAD. A year ago my mother got Mersa because there so called nurses at randallia thought there paperwork was more inportant than cleaning my mother up. Then today at North my mother has her left side cut open and can barely move without pain and asked for help lifting her legs and feet in the bed and the stupid so called CNA told her she could do it herself. I am a CNA and that is not how you treat patients although I guess Parkview thinks its ok cuz all they care about is the money not the people. I wont even tell you how they treated me when I was there what they have done to my mother tells it all. This Hospital system sucks its awful and they dont care how their staff treat you so watch out.i had to give it at least a star or it wouldnt let me post, but trust me i give them no stars.

Takes forever. EVERYTIME. Severe stomach pains and I’ve been waiting almost 2 hours. Calling people who came in after me. When I finally started shaking my head and had to ask how much longer. Oh they are waiting on a room for you. After you let 3 other people get rooms before me? Poor service, terrible customer service and VERY SLOW. EVERYTIME I come here, I’m always disappointed
