First time going to Summit. I had a chip tooth, it was a great experience. Teresa was super friendly.

This place is so nice! The staff is so friendly and professional and they answer any questions you have. The dental hygienist are very nice to talk to and they make you feel very comfortable while they clean your teeth or take x-rays or whatever else. The dentists are very good at explaining things and just overall I always have had a good experience here.

We love Summit Dental. Service is usually great, appointment was at 8:00 and when we walked in we were told appt. was at 8:30. They changed the time and didn’t notify us. After showing the receptionist the text with 8:00 confirmed time, she said they had to change it. Overall great dentist but could improve communication.

Wonderful place and everyone from the reception, hygienist and doctor were pleasant to deal with. Very nice facility as well, makes you feel like your at home. I highly recommend.One suggestion - would recommend making masks mandatory at least until you’re in the dentist chair, there are just too many wildcards right now with Delta to take chances.

I was highly impressed with the quality of service provided by everyone I had contact with during this visit - front desk, hygienist, dentist, check-out. My cleaning with Demi was outstanding. I will be requesting her by name for my future dental cleanings. My only negative feedback is that masks were not mandated in the waiting room. As long as the pandemic is still active, masks should be required.

Probably one of the best practices I have ever been to. Everyone was over the top nice and pleasant got in and out fast. Major props to the Dental assistant as she was as nice as they come and also was very calming and helpful.

Ever since my family put a step in this place, sadly to say I am glad we got second opinions elsewhere. Crowns, fillings you name it was supposedly all needed. I didnt feel this seemed right. I ended up sending my kids across town to different places for a second opinion and I was shocked to learn neither one needed any of those treatments whatsoever. I even pointed out the teeth that were mentioned and new x-rays were taking and still there was no need for any drilling and ruining their teeth.

The dental hygienist we had was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly kind and thoughtful while providing helpful feedback and education during our appointment. My daughter was intimidated and nervous about the visit, but the staff made all the difference and we’re grateful to have had such a wonderful experience.

My first visit and they were awesome. They took the time to explain everything they were going to do. They made sure that I was not in a lot of pain. I would recommend this place to anybody who needs to get dental work done

Overall was good, the only thing I didnt care for was that I only got offered water to rinse 1 time, after everything was done. The water didnt work right away so by the time I did get some it was pretty much too late. In the past I was offered a chance to rinse several times.

Every time I go there the bill always seems more than what we talked about. Very poor communication on billing up front. Dont plan on ever going back. To many bad experiences. I will say they are quick and do a good job but I cant get past the billing issues. Doing repair service for 20 years, the customer should know up front the cost.

Highly recommend Summit Dental Group. I had to find a new dentist for my daughter because her pediatric dentist retired. She suffers with anxiety and they made her first visit very welcoming and relaxing for her! The staff was very friendly from the moment we walked in to the moment we left!

If you want your dentist to let your teeth rot to the point they do need a filling, this is the place to goI went in about 2 months ago for a checkup, its the first time Ive been in a couple years but I knew I had a cavity that needed attention. I had also noticed another smaller black spot on a different tooth on the other side of my mouth but I really didnt think much of it. After my appointment cleaning was done I was not told about the cavity I had and had to bring it up for them to even recognize it. They agreed it was a cavity and scheduled a filling for me. The filling went fine but at the end of it they pushed multiple times for me to reschedule a checkup 6 months out. Its been a few weeks now and that smaller black spot I had has grown larger and definitely needs attention itself. I genuinely do not believe they would have acknowledge the first cavity had I not said a word because this cavity was definitely noticable at the time and I did not hear a word from the dentist about it either time I went in. I dont understand why my dentist did not just fill the other one when I came in for my filling, I would have paid for it but now I get to schedule for oral surgery again and my mouth just stopped hurting from the bruising from the first time.

Best dental office I have been to. They always are very informative and take their time with each patient. My kids and I have been going for years. I highly recommend (because of their great care my kids like to go to the dentist).

I had a crown that came off and I was so happy to get in right away. I was a little disappointed when the dentist was busy and did not have time to see me. However I was rescheduled for Monday and the dentist was able to reattach it. I had the pleasure of being cared for by Ashley who was my dental assistant both days. She was very friendly and professional both times. She is a valuable asset to your team at Summit Dental. I highly recommend her and would be happy to have her the next time I have an an appointment.

Friendly, efficient office. I had an excellent cleaning. I felt really comfortable with Dr. Gabrek and Dr. Regan. The office staff coordinated my referral to an oral surgeon quickly, and answered all of my insurance questions about it too. Great first impression and experience.

I am very glad I switched to this dentist office a couple years ago. All of the staff are caring and nice. Dr. Light is excellent and explains everything very well. Ashley was great! I’ve had cleanings and dental work done at this office and will continue to do so.

Very impressed with the crown prep that my husband received as well as all of our dental cleanings..Dr Chenoweth is very professional knowledgeable and kind and explains the reasons behind his decision thoroughly. As a former dental assistant many years ago, I look for certain things in a dental practice and staff. This place fits the bill perfectly. Oh and the office is a beautiful modern office.

The entire team here is nothing short of exceptional. From the moment you walk in, throughout the entire visit to the moment you walk out the door, youre made to feel like family. My husband (who is not the best patient due to some previous negative dental experiences) even left feeling like all his apprehensions were acknowledged and all concerns were addressed. He has since been back to have some major work done and even had a pleasant experience at that appointment! 5 STARS!!! Highly recommend!

I have been a patient at Summit Dental for years and wouldnt go any place else. I have moved to FL and I still come up once a year to get my teeth cleaned and checked out. I enjoyed the work the dr Regan and the hygienist who first helped me with my filling. But then my hygienist who had cleaned my teeth I felt like she was trying to rush to get My teeth done. Instead of using a normal scraper tool to clean my teeth she had used this water cleaner and I kept getting sprayed with it so it felt like I was getting a bath. But over all the two times I’ve been going here were pretty good.

I’m so happy I found the Summit Dental Group, Southwest on Illinois Road. I’ve yet to have a bad experience there. Their new office is absolutely beautiful and the entire staff is wonderful. Beyond the semi-yearly dental cleanings, I’ve had a couple minor procedures done and both were completely pain free. That alone makes Summit a five-star dental group in my book!! Bottom line: I highly recommend!

All the doctors and team here are wonderful. I would highly recommend them for your general dental needs. Additionally, the doctors have extensive training in TMJ & Sleep issues so that’s a huge added benefit these days.

On my first visit I remarked that this was the most pleasant visit I had ever experienced in a dentists office. My second visit was equally pleasant. The office staff were cordial and sincere and competent. The professional staff performed my dental treatment extremely competently and informed me about my dental health and how best to keep it healthy.my third visit was just as pleasant. my regular dental assistant was not available for the scheduled date. i was informed in advance and given an opportunity to reschedule. i declined and was treated by another assistant and received equally competent treatment and care.My April 19th, 2019 visit was x-rays, cleaning, polishing and dentist check-up. Once again the treatment was competently performed. My dental assistant is not only very skilled in her profession she also picks up where we left off in our conversation from the previous visit and is genuinely interested in how things are going with me. I thoroughly enjoy my dental visits here.

I cant begin to tell this team how much I adored them! Today was our first time in their office. My youngest child was nervous, so much so she hadnt really slept much the night before. Once the ladies got her back there and in her chair, they had her laughing and comfortable. They ask for a name you prefer to be called and they definitely used the nick names we gave them. I cant thank this team enough. Dr. Presser was so helpful in suggesting treatment and recommending an orthodontist for my oldest child.Thank you so much, Summit Dental!!!

I made a first-time appointment to have one of my son’s tooth examined for a second opinion. Based on my previous dentist experiences, I was not expecting a charge for this first visit. I was expecting to be scheduled for future work if needed. Maybe things have changed across the board and I should have asked if there was a charge for this visit, so it was partly my fault. Very nice building, staff and dentist. However, I was shocked when after a 5-minute appointment I was charged $78. I was told that I was paying for a limited oral evaluation. When I asked how much a total oral evaluation was they told me $55, which didn’t make any sense to me (but it is probably due to the fact that it is done after a cleaning, so you are already paying for that). After expressing my sticker shock, I was offered a 5% discount for paying cash. If I had been offered to take that amount or even just $50 off my next visit to do the work they suggested, I would have scheduled it in a heartbeat. Now, I don’t think I will go back.

From my very first visit I felt very comfortable in this office. Everyone was professional, warm and welcoming. As a former dental assistant I had multiple questions about the work and techniques that Dr Chenoweth uses. Dr. Chenoweth went out of his way to answer my questions patiently and thoroughly. His dental skills and knowledge are excellent and up to date. He treats his staff well, has an easy going personality and is just an all around super nice guy. I felt very comfortable chatting with him and trust him for future appointments.

I have always received good care at Summit. Once I had to have a cap replaced and was given an estimate for the work. When the job went more quickly than expected, my bill was significantly reduced. When I questioned this, I was told that since the entire process went so easily in less than the allotted time, I should not pay the full bill. That made my day!

This is the friendliest dentist staff there is. They make you feel like a part of their family and the warm atmosphere helps keep the tension of possible dental work to a minimum. I would recommend them to anyone and feel good that they will never be disappointed.

The hygienist did a great job. The issues there are not the professionals, it’s the office staff. Whatever you do, don’t give these people your credit card. They took it upon themselves to charge my credit without my approval. I set up my CC alerts so people like this don’t take advantage. They will charge it without your authorization. No statement or communication of what insurance paid for my cleaning just boom the purchase shows up on my phone. Time to find a new dentist.

Newcomer in Fort Wayne. I searched extensively for a new Dentist, researching online reviews, etc. I originally found one other Dentist and they had me wait for months and then was disorganized. Their reviews were not as good as Summit, Southwest. I am very happy that this happened because Summit fit me right in, visiting their office on 9121 Illinois was very relaxing and comfortable, and my Dental Hygienist, Amanda, was super professional! I really appreciate high quality care and she really took the time to get the hard to find tartar. In my experience, I have had some not so meticulous Hygienists and left disappointed. Not here! I highly recommend Summit, Southwest.

Every single person I have encountered here, has been nothing but friendly and helpful. I have high anxiety dealing with dentists and they are very understanding. They take the time to make sure I am ok, and take breaks as needed. They never push things just to make money, as I needed a crown and was told that I would be wasting my money due to missing the tooth above it. They could have easily fixed the useless tooth just to make a few bucks, but were genuinely open about it being unnecessary! I have never been happy with a dentist until finding Summit Dental. I will never go anywhere else! They do amazing with my kids as well.

I started going to Summit Dental several years ago. The staff is friendly and helpful. They were especially helpful when I lost my group dental insurance coverage and was directed to look into a specific dental discount plan which has saved me quite a bit of money!

Moved here from out of state and needed a new dentist. Summit was a great choice for my family. EVERYone on staff has wonderful personalities and are very caring and gentle. Plus, I have extremely sensitive teeth and the doctors have always made sure i dont feel a thing! A new facility is being built for their southwest office and I cant wait to see the finished product. Kudos to Summit Dental Group for their top notch care!

Friendly and skillful hygienists. They are good about working with a schedule to set up appointments with their excellent dentists. I had an artificial tooth implanted in partnership with Summit and they made adjustments promptly and effectively to properly seat the implant.

I visited Dr. Batesole at the Huntington office and he was great! Very friendly and kept me informed every step of the way. Made my visit quick and easy, highly recommended.

Great place to have your teeth cleaned or worked on. They are very friendly and let you know what they are doing before they do it. Nice view of nature looking out the window, also that have TVs on the ceilings so you can watch TV while having your teeth cleaned.

Having a Crown put on is SOOO much better than I thought. I couldnt believe it! Whatever they use to start the procedure (i.e. the numbing part) was practically painless. Dr. Light is amazing! So kind and gentle! I am not frightened about the next step (the actual placement of the crown) in 2 weeks.
