Procedure: gallbladder removalBest bedside manner Ive had in a very long time.1st New patient visit: office was short staffed but very pleasant. There was a patient before me rambling on about his symptoms, and I knew he would take up the doctors time. And as predicted that happened. It was 20 or so minutes passed my appointment time and Dr. Miter came in and apppoligzed for being late. Having worked for a doctor who would never apologize and expected to be waited on. It was refreshing to hear him appoligize & acknowledge my time. Afterwards he was very informative answered all my questions before I even asked them. He was very patient & calm, he did not seem rushed. His assistant, nurse & staff was very polite as well.May 4th, surgery day. Went just as day1. Very polite staff at the sanctuary. And Dr. Miter came in ready and procedure was done by the time my husband knew it i was in recovery.Overall very pleased.

Doctor took the time to explain the surgery. How long It should take. Answered all my questions.

Dr.Miter removed my gallbladder this august and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him. At my first appointment he went over everything I should expect and made to answer all my questions and concerns. Surgery was just has he explained. He even called my mother to go over what he found. I will always recommend and use in the future if needed.

Went in to have a cyst removed from the underside of my arm. He numbed the area and removed the cyst. When he started to stitch me up, he started in an area that was not numb. Not a good move. When I screamed he stopped and then continued until I asked him to stop and numb the area. Not impressed. I cannot recommend this surgeon.

This DR is incredible. Great bedside manner, extremely knowledgeable and helped me feel comfortable. Greatly recommend

Dr. Miter performed outstanding laparoscopic surgery to repair my inguinal hernia on 7/2/18. Three small surgical holes required no stitches. I was at Healthpark Medical Center at 9:30 a.m. and was home by 3:30 p.m.. My recovery was good and I never took anything but Tylenol for pain. I have already recommended Dr. Miter to friends who need hernia surgery.

Run Do not have surgery by this doctor. Absolutely no after care. I almost died at HealthPark ended up in ICU then Tampa General.

Did a Gastric Pacemaker surgery on me a yr ago, told me he was going to a Laprosopic Surgery and ended up opening my whole abdomen from breast bone all the way to belly button. When my husband and I asked him WHY he stated wiggling his fingers, I had to get these in there???? He wasnt going to follow me after my surgery, he was going to have his MA take out my staples and be done with me. I was left with no one to follow my Pacemaker or do adjustments! I also told him I had a big lump next to my surgery site and he told me it was a pocket of fluid and a yr later I find out its a HUGE hernia that I again have to have surgery to repair and its a big hard surgery!!!!! If you have thoughts of him doing surgery, run 🏃 as fast as you can the other way!!!!

1. Pain-free now 3 days later.2. No need for RX medication post op.3. Staff was just superb at the Lee Health Sanctuary.Entire event from my arrival to arrival at my house was under 4 hours.‘Nuff said.

I had just a small cyst removal surgery and i was treated excellent by the entire staff and Dr. Miter.

Jackie the RN is terrible. I complained to her about pain and swelling on my left side. She told me to ask my infectious disease doctor. Turns out, after I asked for pain meds and was denied... I went to the ER with extreme abdominal pain. After surgeon told me I had a seroma on my left side which was hitting my nerve and causing the extreme pain and drained it. Had she not dismissed me and listened to me it would have saved a trip to the ER where I waited for 5 hrs to be seen. Not everyone is is a pill junky and some people are truly in pain and dont deserve to be treated like a drug seaker. I tried to tell her I was in pain but she didnt seem to care. Sad, after 3 times in the hospital from one intial hernia surgery, still have been unable to work for 2 months and have home health seeing me every day to change my wound dressing.

Not very happy. Nicked my husbands bladder while fixing hernia. Hopefully will not have caused unnecessary problem. Have to be cathed for a week.

Had emergency surgery performed by Dr. Miter. I would highly recommend this skilled surgeon!
