Dr Mazzorana is a wonderful and caring psychiatrist. I trust him implicitly with mine and my families mental health.Dr Mazzorana has never failed to assist my family and make them well again. Dr Mazzorana is a doctor in high demand. He is highly knowledgeable and experienced in psychiatric pharmacology and thorough in his diagnosis. He explains your condition well and discusses the best way forward. As most know, Psychiatry is not a quick fix, it takes time and Dr. Mazzorana is great at honing in on the nuances with your medication that help you live your best life!Honestly, you could not find a better Doctor!

Was a referral and simply making an appointment which was going to be 24 days out was the worst experience I have encountered. Its hard enough when a family member is in need of a mental therapist but when money up-front is more important before you can even get to the appointment date, the Health Care system is broken!!! I pray to God you actually help people!!

Dr. Mazzorana is the best Psychiatrist I’ve ever had. He is very knowledgeable. His approach is very kind and compassionate. He provides deep insight into your situation or situations you may not have been aware of and awakens you. He’s obviously seen and heard it all over the years and brings these many years of in-sight and educated knowledge into your sessions and conversations with him to help you. He has helped me more than any other psychiatrist I’ve ever had over many years. He is top notch. Best of the best. Bar none!

BEWARE OF DR IVAN MAZZORANA HE IS A MINOR CHILD PILL PUSHER!!!!!The father of my son took him to this doctor in which doesnt even nor is licensed to deal with minors. His offices specializes in adults 25 and over! The first visit he prescribed him with Lexpro and also Ativan a very dangerous medication to be put into the hands of a minor and gave him 90 pills with refills. Within the first week of him being on these medications he got suicidal. Then when my son turned 18 a couple months later he prescribed his medical marijuana card and continued to prescribe him with medications that included seroquel and depakote along with the ativan and medical marijuana. To say the least he isnt doing better he seems worse. This doctor should have his license pulled immediately before he kills someones kid or loved one!!!

I just want to say that my experience with Dr. Mazzorano has been great. He’s easy to talk to, listens and knew exactly what I was dealing with when it came to treating my mom. I cannot say enough nice things about him and his staff. The prompt call backs when you have a question are something you rarely get anymore. Within 2mins he called me back. Very much appreciated thank you!

I’m not a patient, but my mother is. I would go with her and my dad to see Dr. Mazzorana. He always opened the door to us and helped with seating. He had so much patience with my mother. My mom was in a very bad way, never had I seen her like this. He made his suggestions after seeing her. We thought there was no help. Thank you Dr. Mazzorana for giving me my mother back. She is her self again.

Dr Mazzorana is a great doctor, he is actually interested in why you think you need to continue the medications you are currently taking. His questions are open-ended so he can understand you. He apologized for not being able to access my chart at the time of our appointment due to a technical issue- which is completely understandable Hes straight forward, which can be intimidating for some people. Give him a chance, he wants to help you. Also his office is very friendly and they do have patience. Just come prepared, and bring your information with you

Pleasant office staff that are very accommodating. They go out of their way with explaining and filing insurance claims. You will be greeted in a warm and friendly manner.Dr Mazzorana listens well and asks pertinent questions. His immediate office is very comfortable and relaxing. He returns his own voice mail messages himself! Very assuring that should you be having any challenges or questions to contact him immediately and he will get back to you asap.Make an appointment with Dr Mazzorana, you will not be disappointed .

I was referred to this practice and told they could help me. I sought mental evaluation in my time of need, they said no because I’m not 25. I’m 23 and capable of working with ages from 25-40. This is a failed practice if their concern is 2 years of age.

Very predictable. Does not try to find out the underlined issue to solved or willing to discuss anything with you. Very short and manipulated kind of person and all you need is 3 words....Fine, Yes, and Okay! Makes you feel inferior when you do try asking a question about anything, he’s methods are righteousness. Too busy to spend quality time with patients it’s like a revolving door type of doctor, which a lot of doctors are becoming the older they get. Their methods are the only ones that work and do no harm to you. Even though you tell him, the answer is always no my medicine don’t do that! This generation of doctors are so reluctant to new information. It’s all about the money and who cares about the patient. Some of us, don’t have the choice but to deal with him, Dr. Ivan Mazzorana, Jr.

If you or your loved ones go to this facility, I suggest you might want to read this.I have been going to this facility for I am guessing, close to 2 years. They diagnosed me with PTSD. I am still a patient here as I not only have a Therapist but a Nurse also. The nurse has me on medication and in March when I went to see them, they rearranged my appointments because my therapist was not going to be in and I was making my plans to go see my brother out of state that was in hospice care and only had 2 months to live. Due to the appointment schedules changing and being out of town, I miss my appointment with my nurse. They charged me $100 no show fee. Yet, they never bothered to send me their normal text to remind me that I was to come in.My insurance company covers 22 visits a year and pays 100% of my visits. So??? I am not racking up new charges as I go to them.On May 31st. We buried my husbands son.(out of state). June 1st my brother dies in my arms. (same state). On June 3rd my husband passes.I called to try to see my nurse and they said no. Not until I pay the $100 no show fee. The advocate that the Cape Coral Police Department sent me, had it fixed for me to pay $25 a month and can come see them. They call me the day after my husband’s passing and told me again, I had to pay the $25 before coming in to see the therapist. They still refused to fill my medication.I know how difficult it is for me to open up my life’s story to someone and I know there are many people out there that is in worse shape than me. With that being said, I pray you or your loved ones has someone who truly cares about you and your health. This facility is nothing but about the almighty dollar. I wouldnt give them one star but I cant post here if I dont.Mary West, Cape Coral, Fl.

I have had MS for over 30 years and I have had neurologists put me on medication that is inappropriate for my symptoms. A knowledgable psychiatrist like Dr. Mazzorana will coordinate current medication use and even prescribe off-label medications to minimize side effects. I believe that everyone that has a chronic illness should see a psychiatrist in addition to their specialist. Dr. Mazzorana is the psychiatrist of choice in this area and he is highly recommended not only by patients but other physicians.

Dr. Mazzorana was an awesome doctor and i felt like he genuinely cares about his patients. He made me feel that he truly wanted to help and for that Im grateful. Most psychiatrists will ask u 2 or 3 questions and then send you on your way. Not him. He wanted to get to know me and my background so he could truly help me and that he is. Thanks Dr. Mazzorana.

Why would someone want to read your story? I never went back!

Dr mazzurana is one of the worse doctors my husband has seen and so is his staff; does not return phone calls either. He has severe tremor problems and he isn’t professional enough to even call him back and discuss it or refill his prescription. He is in this profession just for the money. I needed a refill on two prescriptions that I am currently taking and he will not refill until I make an appt and pay my co-pay. People think first before u make an appt with him

Dr. Mazz has been THEE ONLY PSYCHIATRIST that has EVER helped me with my life-long struggle with this monster called severe depression. This man has ABSOLUTE TRUE CONCERN FOR YOUR MENTAL WELL BEING so you can achieve your own goal oriented life to your FULL POTENTIAL.If it wasn’t for Dr. Mazz and his entire E.C.T staff, I would not be sitting here today...Dr. Mazz IS a very kind man, with treatment tailored SPECIFICALLY for each individual and emphasizes in talk-therapy as a mainstay in addition to medication and not the other way around. Most Psychiatrists just want to medicate you to zombie state. This is NOT his idea of “recovery”. Dr. MazzMay come off unfriendly at first, only because he is very focused on your issues and especially your recovery, but in time you (as did I) will come to see his extremely kind, and full understanding of your feelings and concerns are absolutely amazing with his bedside manners. His concern for you as an individual far surpass any psychiatrists Ihave ever experienced in my past. This Dr. does not have any interest in selling pharmaceuticals, and has your very best interest in his full focus.Dr. Mazz saves lives. He saved mine...That’s all I know...

Ive been seeing Dr Mazzorana for about 12 years now. Ive seen about 5 others since my official diagnosis in 1992, and he is one doctor who actually listens. In my experience, He IS NOT good about replying to voicemails unless you call with a medication refill request. If its time, he WILL call it in. Initially, he appeared a bit condescending, and all we discussed was medication. After some time he relaxed and actually TALKED to me. He does have my best interest at heart, and I DO trust him. Like most high-priced specialty MDs, I personally think the money is why hes there. Hes not particularly caring, more business-like and ultra-professional.

Went to Park Royal for ECT therapy.Dr Mazz did ZERO follow up after administering shock therapy - I dont know... seems like that might be something an ethical doctor does.I requested to talk to him about the therapy and my progress, but was refused. I was told he would not talk to me and does not consult with patients regarding their progress or concerns. He administers ECT, but no follow up.During one session, I was strapped in, had foam rubber in my mouth, and was about to receive anesthesia, he informed me that several people (complete strangers and no one I had authorized) would be observing my shock treatment.I had no ability to object, as I went under. How is THAT ethical? He also commented to one, Shes obviously bipolar, look at her hair.He is the only Dr in the area doing ECT, so one feels they have no choice. Id suggest going elsewhere.I stopped treatment abruptly before completion of 12 sessions when he refused to talk to me about my progress. No one ever contacted me to find out why I didnt show up, to see if I was alive or dead, NOTHING. But he sure took my $.Treatments are $1000 ea, 12 treatments recommended. You can draw your own conclusions about what Dr Ms priorities/motivations are.I was glad to see he was physically escorted out of the hospital and Park Royal has opted to stop ECT until they find a replacement, rather than continue with this doctor.

I have seen so many psychiatrist and he is by far the worst. So unprofessional he doesnt even take time with his patients just writes prescriptions and never calls back even for major emergencies. The entire staff is rude and not helpful they will just hang up on you. He made an appointment with me while prescribing alot of medication to me and told him I needed one month to have time to find doctor and he wouldnt do anything. Never talked to me about why and he owns the practice and gives benzos out like candy. He should not have a right to be a dr. I went through seizures he still did nothing not even call. He is the absolute WORST there is. Anyone would be better than him. I am going to report him for his actions towards me totally illegally. I am so angry he has the right to be a dr and let me go and isnt professional enough to even call me and talk to me about it. Do not see him!!!

HATE, HATE, HATTTTTTTE! The Dr. (Mazzoranna) had me in hysterics. I have suffered...and been diagnosed with PTSD for over 10 years. He had me balling my eyes out while telling me I was lying, when he was one of my psychs that originally diagnosed me years ago! Attempted to smash me to granules, forced words in my mouth, and I left the office feeling suicidal. This is all while he knows I have PTSD (amongst other diagnoses), going through a divorce, a relocation from NY, AND Bankruptcy! Angela is quite the lying snake in the grass too.... I highly recommend to stay FAR away!
