I’ve worked here since November and it is the most fabulous company to work for. The building is beautiful and the staff truly care for the residents. I have met many wonderful people working here and staying here. I can honestly say it’s the first facility I’ve worked for that I would want my family to come to for rehab or long term care!

The videos and activities we see on Facebook are so much fun and very engaging for staff and residents. The Preserve is always abuzz with themed holidays and just-because celebrations. I know it’s a wonderful place to live and a delightful place to work. I get joy just from the videos I have seen and the grand opening ceremony I attended when they opened. The staff is pleasant and genuinely enjoy their positions. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this fine establishment.

The Grand Opening Celebration was fantastic, you could just feel the energy everywhere. Though COVID has been tough especially for the people living in communities like The Preserve, the staff has gone above and beyond to make the residents feel loved and safe. It seems like almost everyday there is something fun going on there. Check out their Facebook page to see what you are missing! The Preserve has so much to offer. If you are looking for a facility for yourself or others. Just call for a tour!

Please save your time, your frustration, and your money for a different living facility. The Preserve is very difficult to communicate with, get clear answers from, and they do not take care of all of their residents. My grandmothers skin, clothing, and therapy needs were not taken care of here. If you’d enjoy losing $1,000+ worth of clothing, and seeing your family members progress decline, then the Preserve is the right fit for you. I would recommend Manor Care over the Preserve, and Manor Care is below average. Please look elsewhere when choosing somewhere for your loved one to live. I would rate this facility with zero stars if I were able to.

The Preserve at Hope Center.I cannot say enough good things about The Preserve rehabilitation and therapy facility. My wife took a terrible fall and needed intense therapy after release from the Trauma and ICU units at Lee Memorial. First, the rooms and overall physical plant are first class. But, anyone can build a nice building. What makes this place special is the people who work there. From the moment I contacted Lisa Gysin in Admissions, I knew I was talking to a welcoming professional. The therapists who work with my wife are top notch: Lisa Esterly, the speech therapist, Jennifer Cheng the physical therapist and Cenia Quevedo the Occupational therapist were all super, caring and real pros. Amanda Vermeesch, the RN unit manager was so very helpful in figuring out her ongoing medical needs for her injuries. Sarah Richard in social services was so good in navigating the rules and next steps. But I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how caring and professional the duty nurses and caretakers are when taking care of my wife’s daily needs. Natisha the floor RN, Marie the CNA, Sheila and numerous others whose names I do not know, were always there with caring professional and cheerful demeanors. The Preserve is 5-Star all the way, run by caring people with whom you can trust your love one… Neil Gerald

Our 95 year old Mother spent Christmas 2020 in rehab here due to a fractured pelvis. She had been in assisted living at another facility and was doing well there except for the covid lockdown which, of course, depressed and confused her with her slight dementia. We thought she would be even more depressed and confused going to another facility but instead she seemed surprisingly happy and content. We could only see her once a week for an hour due to the covid and found her to be in good spirits.Everyone at the Preserve, nurses, therapists, CNAs , etc. were especially kind and caring which we found out with the frequent phone calls and phone conferences. However, the speech therapist, Lisa must be commended in particular for her special interest, love and caring for our Mother. She would call us while Mom was in her office singing, drinking hot chocolate and eating cookies (moms favorite food). She even sent us numerous photos of our Mother and even a video of her walking in therapy...I cannot say enough about the kind and caring treatment Mom received. The Preserve is truly a 5 star facility and deserves every bit of that rating. Kudos to all the exceptional staff and especially Lisa.
