It was my pleasure to work for Trina and Ed Toston at the Lee and Collier County branches of Granny Nannies. They are wonderful business owners and very caring and loving people. I could not have asked for better mentors or friends. It saddened me to move after over a decade with this company. They never cut corners or turn a blind eye whether it be to a caregiver, a client, a regulation or law. They always do what is best no matter who is watching or if nobody is watching. They are compassionate to clients, caregivers and their employees in the office. I was sad not to be able to finish out my career here (I moved out of state) but I know that their ethics and morals will always make them the number one choice for any family who needs to know that their loved one is well cared for and in good hands, even behind the scenes. After having seen other agencies in action, this company has impeccable follow up and communication with families and clients, their pricing is low to clients, they pay their contractors well and above average, and they pay attention to detail. There will never be another company quite like this one.

This is by far the best place to work and I would highly recommend them for a loved one because they care for your loved ones as if it was there own family. I can also inform people to do the research that they passed there state audit without any problems. So I would do my research first.

I was formally the business manager for the Fort Myers Granny Nannies and would like to WARN anyone who would consider entrusting their loved ones to their care. The organization is run in the most unprofessional and liable conditions that I have ever experienced. The environment and the owners, abuse the staff and even allow a staff member to use marijuana. She often claimed that was the only way she could get through the day considering the abusive and explosive treatment by the owner, Edward Tostin. Trina Tostin was an enabler and turned a blind eye to this abuse and toxic behavior. The caregivers are professional enough but working with an organization fraught with such chaos brings it own set of problems and in my opinion is a recipe for disaster. Beware and contract at your own risk.
