Amazing experience!Training: After Daniel trained our dog, we spend our time enjoying his company and not trying to educate him.Boarding: Our biggest concern was our puppys well being. Daniel has been extremely professional since day one. I sent my Corgi Stella for the one-month service dog boarding program at 3 months old, and I am extremely impressed with her outstanding progress at such a young age. She is very sharp on basic commands thanks to Daniel. I was worried about her excessive leash pulling, and Daniel completely fixed that. She’s now a confident walker that stays right by my side instead of trying to pull away. Nowadays, it’s really difficult to find individuals with integrity. Daniel has every bit of integrity and puts his heart into what he does. I did a lot of research before choosing a trainer for my service dog, and I’m glad I went with Daniel. The two lovely individuals who take care of your fur-baby while they’re being boarded are also amazing. I still have a while to go before Stella is certified since she isn’t one years old yet (a standard most trainers unfortunately don’t uphold), and I am beyond excited to continue working with Daniel.

When I got Howard, my aussiedoodle, I knew I wanted to start training early! Daniel agreed to start working with Howard right away & he was an absolute miracle worker! Daniels calm demeanor not only helped get Howard in shape, but kept me calm when I was overwhelmed with Howards behavior.Daniel helped with nearly every aspect of Howards puppy behavior, but the hardest was definitely walking Howard. I feel Daniels response to Howards walking troubles is indicative of Daniels approach to all behavioral challenges.Howard was IMPOSSIBLE to walk - he would jump and bite my arm, my pony-tail, my clothes. He was stubborn too - sometimes he wouldnt want to walk and would refuse to move and other times he would pull so much my arm would get tired! Daniel knew the perfect solution and now Howard is nearly perfect on walks! In fact, I can even take him on runs and he gets praised around my neighborhood for his good behavior.I truly do not know what Howard and I would do without Daniel! Not only does Howard behave beautifully, Howard absolutely LOVES Daniel and is so excited every time he gets to see him!

A friend of ours gave us a 2 year old Australian Shepherd -Lola and we soon found out she was a lot of work. Lola was strong willed and disobedient, in the beginning. Daniel came highly recommended and at first he was hesitant because Lola had aggressive behavior.Daniel agreed to take Lola on and without him we would have had to give her back. From day 1, she responded to commands and he was able to gently get her into her crate which before was a full on wrestling match to get her into it. We are so thankful for Daniel and he is the reason now we have a loving pet in our family and Lola has calmed down drastically. We have also used his boarding service for when we have to go out of town, and its also 5 star. Thank you Daniel!

Daniel is training my Golden Retriever Mookie to be my service dog. Mookie stayed with Daniel for 30:days and now we are having weekly lessons. I am amazed at how much Mookie has learned! The best proof of how Mookie feels about his training time with Daniel is when we arrive for lessons. Mookie runs with absolute joy to greet Daniel and then does happy dog circles in the yard! Daniel is a gentle giant with a heart of gold. We had him train our standard poodle puppy, he started when she was probably about 10 weeks and we did the 6 week in home training classes. He came once a week for an hour each week and taught her (and us) how to do the commands. We spent most of the session inside and then did some walking on the leash outside towards the end of each session. Before choosing Daniel we were looking at some other options but saw a lot of reviews on OTHER sites that said their puppies were coming back fearful after training sessions. Working with Daniel was amazing because we really got to see how he interacted with our Sasha and he was so sweet, kind and patient with her. He only used positive reinforcement and she absolutely loved him. He’s basically a dog whisperer, every trick he taught her she pretty much got it right away and the rest was up to us to practice with her. We are so thankful that he taught us how to train her because now we have a 5 month old well behaved puppy. Daniel was also always available and on time and if we ever had any questions we could just text him. We’re planning on leaving her with him when we go out of state to a wedding to do the staycation training so she can really refine her skills and learn more. We definitely trust Daniel and would recommend him.

Daniel took my 1 1/2 yr old Mini Benedoodle and without sacrificing Peanuts extremely energetic, playful, affectionate nature. He doesntstop to scrutinize every twig, frog, bug, leaf etc but walk easily now on a leash, knows all his basic commands like some, sit,stay.Hes the samejoyful little dog but instilled with good manners and the ability to concentrate and not get distracted by every little thing, .He no longer puts everything inappropriate in his mouth. and calmly goes into his crate when its time for bed. Ramona BrongerHired to help with Gigis fear of people. My end goal was to have overall better “control” of my dog. Meaning, I wanted her to look to me for direction when it came to interactions with other dogs and people. Gigi spends most days with me in my office and we have a lot of visitors… and sometimes Gigi likes to let those people know she is present (AKA Barks LOUD!!!!). I wanted to correct those reactions. I also wanted to improve her leash skills, she pulled so bad it made walking very difficult for her and I.After only SIX sessions she has made some incredible progress. She has an almost perfect understanding of both verbal and non-verbal commands. She also no longer pulls on the leash but instead walks by my side and sits when I stop, follows my turns etc. She stays when told, and at anyone coming in the office which makes the customer and Gigi much more comfortable.Most importantly, recently when I left her alone in the black jeep (bad dog mom) she jumped out and came looking for me…. but she was spooked by the heavy traffic on Biscayne. She was running right for the road, but when I commanded Gigi Come, she immediately turned around and came to me. The training I received from Daniel literally saved her life. Two months ago she would of ignored me.... I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for one on one training for your dog or puppy.

My wife and I had a great 6 lesson training with Daniel with our 2 month old toy poodle puppy. We originally hired him to help us train our puppon the Wee Wee pads. He was so helpful in that area but over the 6 lessons we learned so much other things he taught us. It was unbelievable that he could teach her to her sit or to stay or even climb 5 stairs and each week it would only take about 10 minutes of the session to do it. I would strongly and highly recommend Daniel for any and all your training needs.

We love and highly recommend Daniel De La Rosa. We’ve been using him to train our puppy since January of 2019 and see him once a week. Our little Frankie is a well mannered one year old now who knows several commands, has been a great traveler and will be a therapy dog soon. We loved Daniel’s positive reinforcement training methods and we learned about the special work Daniel does training dogs to be service animals. Daniel De La Rosa trained our neighbor’s dog, a service dog for a young woman who was terribly disabled during her time in the military. Daniel has been an excellent trainer for our puppy Hannah and for us too. He has a very special way with dogs, and ours responded very well to his teaching. We did the In home training, and then the Board and Train, as well as a Traincation. She was a “Mad Puller”, and walking her on a small sidewalk next to a busy street we were in danger of her pulling us into traffic. It was so bad that we almost had to give her up...After 3 weeks with Daniel she returned home and was loose leash walking. She follows commands and is still learning- she’s 14 months now.We are so grateful for Daniel! He is knowledgeable, sensitive, kind,and patient. He communicates well with the dogs, and the owners. Daniel is the best!! I got a German Shepard from rescue after my doctors recommended I get a service dog to assist my medical issues. Daniel has taken my dog and turned her into the best service dog a person could have. After learning her commands, we have been going out weekly to various places, mall, food court, etc..so he cN help me know what to do in these situations. I could not do this without his leadership and support!!

Daniel was wonderful with our goldendoodle, Max. I highly recommend his 3 week boarding/ training option, which comes with 4 hour-long training sessions once the dog comes home. Max now walks like a gentleman on his leash and knows the basic commands. Daniel is well worth the price!!!

Daniel is the most patient man on the planet, when we first met I had a laundry list of what I thought a Service Dog should do. He weeded out what was most important for a highly successful pairing between my dog Gunner and myself. His training method took a track greyhound and turned him into a Service Dog I can trust! My 90 lb. 4 year old lab is a fantastic dog. Its not that he doesnt know to walk with a loose leash. Its a totally different story when he sees someone who he just has to meet . We used Daniels board & train program and now I can walk him without being yanked into traffic. Daniel smoothed out some of his rough edges.

I had the best experience with Daniel trainning my little Lola for a service dog. Lola stayed with him for a month and was so happy and O was happy to see her happy!! I got a new dog back!! We had no idea what having or training a service dog would entail.  From getting the dog,  to what type/breed of dog to get, to what the rules and laws were for people who need and own a service dog. Daniel walked us through the process from the beginning,  even going with us to a dog rescue to give us his input on the dog we thought wed adopt/rescue to be our daughters service dog. We dont even live in the same county and thats never been an issue. Daniels passion for teaching and training dogs is what makes him so amazing. I believe my daughter was the first child hes worked with and he has been patient and gentle, yet firm, with her and its really made a world of difference. We were actually kind of disappointed when our sessions ended though we know hes always just a phone call away. Daniel is a great communicator. We always felt like his number one priority. Our dog was skiddish around other people but immediately loved Daniel. He worked with our schedule. We did puppy training and service dog training and I have recommended him highly to others.

I have followed Daniel over the years through his organization, Service Dogs 4 Servicemen, I have attended fund raisers where I have met the Veterans that Daniel has helped. They told me that their lives were improved dramatically by having a trained service dog to help them with PTSD.....I recently lost my 5th GSD and decided to rescue this time. I rescued a male teenager that had a mind of his own....I hired Daniel and the first meeting with Kiko started horribly and I actually thought that Daniel would say that Kiko was too aggressive to train. Within literally minutes Daniel had Kiko eating out of his hand. We accomplished so much in an hour I was flabbergasted. In case you think training is expensive, look at it this way.......you will have an extremely well behaved dog for 10, 12 hopefully 15 years or more. Divide the price of training by those years and Daniel is actually quite a bargain. .

My experience with Daniel was wonderful. He was so patient with me and my dog throughout the process. Not to mention his calm demeanor and humor.

My husband researched and found Daniel on the web, as we needed someone to reinforce his (my husbands) ESA dogs already good behavior. We are preparing to travel a long distance with him this summer, and wanted to ensure that he would not be traumatized by the air travel experience - crowds, noise, limited food/water, long stretches in a closed environment, etc.So after approximately 3 months (12 sessions spread out) and one amazing airport experience on the ground (thanks to United Airlines), we booked a trip to New York City together. Daniel flew to EWR with us, and monitored and evaluated my husbands handling of the pooch the whole way. We had a silent and relaxed dog during takeoff, flight, and landing. Super experience. Flight attendants all said he was better than most children!Once we collected our bags and jumped in our car service, we headed into NYC and went our separate ways.
