I have been through some awful experiences with dentists in the past few years and was very skeptical. I decided to go ahead with the treatment plan that Dr. Stone explained to me, and had my first visit for a full mouth restoration today. I am so happy with my decision to trust Dr. Stone and his staff. He is so knowledgeable and patient and truly wants to make you happy. I was really satisfied with my visit to Doctor Stones office. I related my concerns and he provided me with viable options. What I liked most was the fact that he ACTUALLY listened and then asked me what MY hopes were for my treatment. Other dentists typically dictate what THEY want to do. Plus, Dr. Stones staff were friendly, caring and knowledgeable. Typically, I dread going to the dentist; surpisingly, this was a pleasant experience.

Vacationing in Lauderdale area and unfortunately fractured a porcelain veneer yeaterday...Sunday. Dr. Stones office accommodated me Monday morning, repaired the veneer quickly and professionally and sent me on my way. Wonderful experience...nice staff...follows Covid protocols to the tee.

Dr. Stone has been my specialty dentist for the last decade and he has NEVER failed to do not only what is required but more than that, on every visit. In addition, Angie, his receptionist/office manager has been there equally long and always goes out of her way to manage things effortlessly; especially - as earlier this week - when I had what for me was an emergency problem with my implants and they scheduled me in on same day, solved the problem(s) - there were multiples that had developed unexpectedly - and got me on my way again within an hour and a half (which, for what he had to fix was record timing). Briefly: Top-notch, helpful, skillful dentist who listens to his patients. Dr. Stone began by adjusting a partial bridge (made by another dentist several years ago and since unusable) and making it fit perfectly. I found Dr. Stone about 7 years ago when old fillings failed and needed 2 crowns. He and his staff were awesome and the crowns were perfect. From years of grinding my teeth, I recently decided to have 5 front crowns put in for cosmetic reasons. I was a little apprensive at first. He did a mock-up so I could view length etc for a couple of weeks with temporary crowns so any adjustments could be made. Yesterday, I had the final crowns put in and couldnt be happier. I would highly recommend Dr. Stone to anyone looking for a new dentist. His staff is awesome.

I was highly recommended to this office. However, when I called the women Angie would not answer my questions. She was rude and inconsiderate of me. I broke a tooth on my implant dentures and found Dr. Stone on the internet. I went to him because of his good reviews. I easily got an appointment without having to wait and the staff were wonderful. He told me if the tooth chipped more to come back and he would put in a composite in the tooth. I went to the desk to pay and they said there would be no charge. I was shocked that a dentist I never saw before would not charge me. They also have a beautiful and clean office. I recommend Dr. Stone highly. I will go back there for my dental needs. He wanted to replace all 5 of my old fillings explaining they are full of decay, that my old silver fillings contained toxic mercury. I went for a second opinion and another Dr. explained to me there is no proof of this occurring. I do not trust Dr. Stones judgement, and think this is totally inappropriate to try to find problems which could cause further harm to a patient. I also noticed most ALL the positive reviews on this Dr. appear Fake because they are all ONE REVIEW POSTERS.

Very insulting Dr. with bizarre behavior. I just went for a routine cleaning and he starts rambling incoherently about dental hygiene and would not let me speak. He says: Shut up and I never said a word. He suddenly starts laughing for no reason at all and walks away with his assistant. I came to Dr Stone very nervous from bad experience i had at another dentist, the moment i spoke with one of the staff members i felt comfortable, then i meet Dr Stone and it felt like i knew him for years , Im very greatful from my friend who sent me here who is a patient for many years, this is a great experience , thank you for everything.

I had the unfortunate experience of contracting Dr. Stone, for dental implants, in February of 2016.I had issues with billing, contractual agreements and ethical problems from the dental office. I sent Dr. Stone a letter requesting fair recompense for his overcharges and failed procedures. BOTH of the upper implants he placed fell out within two weeks. The third implant he placed, had to be removed because of poor placement.Since he has refused to reimburse me the total I requested, I have decided to post this and inform the public of my experience.He boasted of teaching the staff at Clear Choice.But his estimate was 140% of what Clear Choice wanted. I agreed only because he promised personal care.When I looked at my billing statement, it included over $3,200 in charges that were neither discussed, nor agreed to.The following is an excerpt from my letter.“I called your office Friday morning, 22 July 2016, and spoke with the receptionist, Angie. I informed her that these charges have been presented on my account, yet these charges were two procedures that had not been agreed-upon prior.She insisted that the insurance would pay the difference and that I would never pay more than $18,000 for the implants of my upper teeth.She said that she would get $4000 from insurance through all the claimed procedures. That, however is not ethical practice.The insurance money is to benefit me, the insured, and not the doctor, the provider.The insurance money is to pay for my procedures, and necessary appliances and components.The insurance monies are to be subtracted from my agreed charges, and not to be administered to my account as a benefit to the doctor.To say to me, as she did, the insurance will keep my price down and it will not be more than $18,000 indicates a clear lack of ethics.If the doctor is not capable of clearly setting out a complete treatment protocol, enumerating all necessary components, but leaving important features out, which features happen to be costly, it indicates a level of incompetence which does not rise to the level of a doctor. Forgetfulness is only one manifestation of incompetence, especially if attributable to an important aspect of the work to be performed. At this point, a reasonable man would know to withdraw and seek another, more professional, competent dentist. Otherwise, the presentation of an agreement, which the doctor knows not to be complete in accounting of procedures, components or costs, as to appear to lessen the real total final cost as a lure to agree, constitutes fraud because the accounting was erroneous for monetary gain. Since I was convinced you were honest, I was a willing participant. Thus, you have all three prongs of what constitutes fraud. Now, I dont know which to ascribe to the instant situation. The latter, i.e. fraud, is also true even with the idea that I should have expected it, as if I were to know all of the components and procedures necessary to make the final implants realized. I asked, not once, not twice, but, thrice about the two (2) contracts that I signed and accepted in your office. I have learned how to keep records and ask questions concerning specific jobs here in Fort Lauderdale. I was assured at least three times there would be no further charges and no other requirements, both by you and your staff. Further, if, somehow, you believe I possibly “should have known” what a dental implant entailed, from start to finish, and, being informed, EXPECTED the charges billed, you should check your ethics.”

I have been seeing Dr. John C. Stone since 2009 and my question to him every time I have an appointment has always been, Where have you been all my life? Dr. Stone has proven to be the most knowledgeable, caring, gentle, and kind dentist Ive come across, with the highest degree of professionalism...believe me, I have been to a lot of dentists.We found out in February that I had an abscessed tooth and had to see an Endodontist for a root canal. Because I had issues with my insurance, I ended up calling Dr. Stone every step of the way to get his advice and guidance. He returned every one of my calls, prescribed me antibiotics and pain killers until my appointment with the Endodontist. I consulted with the Endodontist then went in for root canal treatment. I had a second appointment with the Endodontist but didnt make it due to the fact that I still was experiencing difficulties with the tooth. Of course I called Dr. Stone again, this time to tell him I want the tooth extracted.Dr. Stones calendar was fully booked, however, he accommodated my appointment the very next day by extending his office hours just to see me. He and his gentle assistant made sure I was comfortable and relaxed for the procedure. My tooth must have been one of the most challenging extractions ever done by a dentist, that sucker just would not move! Despite the fact that it took more time than we imagined it would, I was never nervous because I was very confident in Dr. Stones ability and trusted that everything would be fine. I left the office knowing that I had done the right thing.Now what made me feel extra special, what put the icing on the cake for me was that today, even though it is the weekend Dr. Stone took the time to call to ensure that I was still doing ok. I expected that I was going to be in excruciating pain after the struggle to get the tooth out and that my face would maybe swell up like a balloon. Nope, didnt happen! No pain! No abnormal bleeding! No swelling!Thank you Dr. Stone!Oh, and Angie! How can I forget to say thanks a million for your patience and consideration. You are a gem!
