LOVE THIS PLACE! Been using them since 2019 and you won’t find a more helpful or friendly staff. The state website is difficult to navigate and they will help you all the way through the process.

In 2006, I was injured at work. I blew three discs in my back one was actually bone on bone, another herniated and another slipped. I had been under Doctor’s care in Pennsylvania, for several years and all they EVER recommended and did was try to feed me opiates and pacify me and the pain from my injuries. After years of debilitating pain, (2006-2016) as well as surgery after surgery after surgery after surgery which was 4 on my back alone, (I also have had neurological issues my entire life) I decided I had enough and to move to Colorado, to be able to utilize medicinal medical cannabis for my pain.I was in need of an alternative pain management system, and had been told by the only people I knew here in Colorado, to go to C.A.R.E.S and see Dr Charles Manter. And I am very THANKFUL that I did. Aside from the Spinal cord injuries and the necessity for pain management, I also suffer with panic and anxiety attacks, to which his office is very warm and comforting, the atmosphere is very casual and it made me feel welcome. From the moment I walked in the door, to the time that I left, from beginning to end, even after receiving my medical license I had issues in which they helped me navigate a very complicated system, (it was for me) but Angela, even yet again today explained everything in a clear and concise manner. Still having difficulties she went out of her way to make sure that I got a copy of my Colorado state MMJ license I couldn’t access. I did not feel judged look down upon or otherwise for needing an alternative pain management treatment. I finally felt as if I was 🏠… So Thank you Dr Manter and Angela from the bottom of my ❤️ I’ll be your patient for Life…. Jamison Watters

I set up an appointment by phone and needed a Drivers License/ID, as well as medical records that reflect my need for a card. I completed two forms, which were simple and quick. Even though the doctor asked for the same information on the form when speaking with him, it was fast and to the point. I was in and out of there in about half an hour. The two women that were there were helpful. Do not try to go early, they will tell you to come back and shut the door. At first, this seemed a bit rude but then she apologized to me afterward, which I appreciated. I got my card in about 2 days after completing the online form. All of this took about four days, it was quick and painless, which is more than I can say for a lot of places.

I have seen Dr.Mantor for years, fast and easy. Staff is always super kind. The person that had a issue with the Doctor must have major issues to got like this place. Finding the building for the first time is a little challenge but fantastic people!

They were very helpful in helping me gather my resources for the doctor. Both women at the fromt were kind and patient. Thank yall for being here for the community

I’ve gone to C.A.R.E.S for my medical card for 2 years now and the team has always been fantastic to work with. Service is quick and staff is super personable. They were so nice I ended up staying to chat after my appointment and wound up writing this reveiw! Don’t believe the negative reviews, everyone here is great.

Don’t go here, doctor didn’t even let me finish talking. Honestly so rude, how can he tell me that I’m not in pain. Crooked doctor doesn’t actually care. My friend literally got his med card for “migraines“. Office was very nice and quick but that doctor is a fraud. I had all my medical records we didn’t even get to the point where I had to show him that stuff. he saw that the paper said broken wrist pain and immediately disregarded me. Didn’t even listen to the rest of what I had to say I just kept cutting me off. It’s fine I’ll take my money somewhere else

Ive been going to CARES for about 5 years - Ive ALWAYS been treated with respect and kindness. I also have all the documents needed for my appointment - maybe thats why Ive not been turned down/away. the new doc is very thorough and I like that. I have Being going to Cares for several years now. And I have always likes the people there. The new Doctor is a great person. Easy to get along with. And will laugh with you.The ladies out in the front. I dont know where people get saying there not nice people. I know I love them. They are most helpful. Even when you call them with a question. Rude, snotty, lady at the front trying to discuss my personal medical info in front of a bunch of people telling me I have to qualify. Worse customer service Ive seen in along time. Never going back, taking my money elsewhere where theres a little bit of respect towards new patients. ***example A, below this posting. Its not the fact that you need proper medical documentation, its the way you handle your customers. Youre a snotty, robotic lady who shouldnt be in any customer service position, PERIOD. Last time I checked Doctor/patient confidentiality was still a law. You could actually be sued for trying to discuss my medical info in the front office in front of other people. Know your job.

Cannot complain for the services offered, if I lived in any non MJ state, guess Id be SOL. I have renewed with them for the 3rd time. Old town is a nice location however if you havent been before it is easy to pass. Cannot give 5 stars as nothing in our world is perfect.

Would give 0 stars if I could, complete waste of time, the doctor if you can call him that was rude snoty and waved his hand in my face...completely unprofessional and at the end he admitted he wastes peoples time constantly. Obviously this new guy that bought this practice from the old nice doctor is a complete jerk and does not know anything about customer service.

Well first, the hours listed here are absolutely incorrect. They make thier own schedule and lie .Open from 10 to noon on friday? NOPE.they dont even follow thier own hours.The medical assistant couldnt even enter my info in the state website correctly! It took several calls and a bit of berating just to get him to do his job.They told me to my face it would take 3 hours for the state, here I am 36 hours later, no card.Thier business practices are as disgusting as the manner they dress themselves.There is no wonder why they are not listed by the BBB.Do not go here, its worth the hour drive to denver.DR. COHEN HERE I COME!

Worst experience of my life. The doctor was extremely rude and disrespectful. He wouldnt answer any of my questions as to why he wouldnt renew my card even though I was a renewing patient. If I could give them zero stars I would. They had the worst customer service.

The office hours may be short but questions are answered by phone 6 days a week and the office visit was quick, professional and efficient.Will renew with them next year.
