Being generous with my review of 2 stars. I had a medication that has not been properly filed with the insurance company, and the medical assistant is refusing to properly file it even after being contacted by the insurance company directly. I have contacted the office multiple times as well, and I just keep getting redirected to the medical assistant who very rudely speaks to me whenever she gets on the phone and puts the blame on everyone else. When suffering from autoimmune diseases you would think that an office like this would take this more seriously, but unfortunately since Amanda Mixon has left, this is an office you have truly be willing to be your own advocate for and fight through the incompetence and neglect.

Love the office and all of the staff! I have been seeing Amanda Mixon for over eight years. Before that, I was traveling to Denver Arthritis Clinic because they were supposed to be one of the better clinics. I prefer The Arthritis and Rheumatology Clinic of Northern Colorado - hands down! I have been treated with compassion, understanding and they actually listen. I never feel rushed or hurried in my appointment. I have also received infusions in the office and that process has been something that I enjoyed (as much as you can considering). I cant sing Amandas praises loud enough. She has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life, health-wise, with grace, expertise and genuine concern. Having an autoimmune condition has been a challenge but finding them has been the sunny side of the struggle.

Dr. Kruger is an amazing doctor and I am so grateful for his help! The first time I went to see him, I knew I found a good doctor. He doesnt rush, he listens, and he takes his time to get to really know who hes treating. I have always been seen right away when I come into the office, they answer my calls, and they return them quickly as well. The office staff are very nice and professional!

Amanda Mixon is fantastic!The first rheumatologist I can really trust and feel in good hands with. I feel listened to and heard, she takes all of my concerns seriously and handles my anxiety about meds/treatments with care unlike anything Ive ever seen. Having a rare condition, it is hard to find someone to work with who knows their stuff, but Amanda stays on top of all the research and has navigated everything with me so well. This is also the first doctor Ive met who has opened my eyes to how much my anxiety fuels my inflammatory disease, and has advocated for me to find ways to reduce my anxiety-and yet she takes my symptoms seriously despite my anxiety (many, many doctors completely blow off patients with any psychiatric concerns-ie its all in your head etc). An absolute breath of fresh air!

I was pleased with my clinic visit. But It took 3 weeks before i could speak with a technician about my results. I chose the clinic because i thought they specialized in all forms of joint disease - but they only do rheumatology.

Excellent care by Dr Thakor for almost 3 years until I had a insurance mix up. And in less than 90 days I received a letter that I was no longer a patient of Dr Thakor. No amount of pleading or explanation would allow me back. I truly miss Dr.Thakor .

If you have fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue DO NOT SEE DR. GRIFFITH. Do not spend the time or the money. She was willing to help me find something awile back to help with the symptoms. That med didn’t work. I went back in... they gladly billed my insurance and collected a copay just for me to sit down with Griffith for 5 min. I explained that I’d like to try something else and she literally listened to my heartbeat and said “ okay I’ll let your primary know she can call in Lyrica or Gabapentin.” I asked if she could call it in.... “we don’t prescribe those meds here.” The point is.... they really know nothing about fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue but are willing to have you come in and spend your money. Not only that... what dr can’t prescribe Lyrica??? Are you kidding me??? I went in in pain and feeling terrible only to leave knowing they took my money and could care less about their patient. And without any type of relief.

I have been seeing Dr. Thakor and his PA Amanda Mixon for over 13 years and they are the reason I am still able to be active and deal with my medical issues head on. I would recommend them to anyone that is needing specialty.

Great only if you have great insurance
