I had lost hope of finding a psychiatrist. It took 4 years and I was at the end of my rope. LifeStance paired me with an excellent doctor who is very kind and knowledgeable and for the first time in 4 years Ive seen some light. I have hope for getting better. They send regular text reminders of your upcoming appointments which is incredibly helpful for someone with ADHD.

My therapist, Marcella, was amazing. Very professional, organized and knowledgeable. I would recommend her to anyone.The office staff and the organization is an entirely different story; Poorly run, unorganized and very unprofessional. I Could talk to three different people and get three different answers. Their billing System was so bad, that I ended up calling the Better Business Bureau, i’m not even sure their billing process was legal. Never have I had to deal with such incompetence.

Love Lauri Lohse for my medical management. She listened to my concerns and got me on the right meds to help me. I couldn’t ask for a better person to help me through this journey.

My wife and I had counseling with Laura M for the past several months. My wife and my case was very difficult, I acknowledge that, but we both agree that she was definitely not the right person for us. Each session, my wife and I left more upset with each other than before we began our session. She would try to tell us how we were feeling during each session, which at times, she was right. But my wife and I both felt that she could not see the big picture of our issues. My guess is that shes been doing this so long that she automatically assumes the male is always in the wrong. When we discontinued our services with her, we thanked her for her time and was very polite. She never responded with anything. I was shocked that she did not have the decency to even wish us the best of luck in our marriage. Almost every other person that works for this company has less than 2 years experience.Owner replied, I thought I was going to be able to talk with him, but all he wanted to do was set me up with his admin to schedule therapy with another person. What BS. If he really cared, he would have talked to me. I do not recommend this place.

I did not have a great experience trying to get therapy or med management set up initially as they are so backed up. I had to go with another provider for therapy though was able to set up med management here. Once I was able to be seen it was great. The nurse practitioner was very informative and listened to my needs and concerns. I am not big on taking meds and she was able to tailor to that by suggesting an as needed medication. I am pleased with the care I have received so far. Only complaint is the time you have to wait to be seen. It seems covid did a number on peoples psyche, lol.

Not impressed with the customer service. Therapist is okay, LifeStance not so much. Front office staff doesnt seem to be very knowledgeable. I was told one thing by one person, but something completely different by another (of coures after I already had my session). Its always the same line too, Well, I dont know why they would say that, thats not true. Its hard enough reaching out for help, but then to be lied to about billing and getting stuck with a large bill really just makes you not want to reach out at all. Unless you have really great insurance or can afford $300 sessions you might want to look elsewhere.

Best and caring people in our area. Dont like name change as Heart Centered was the reason I choose this place. Had lots of troubl finding a place that really cared. Brittany is better than any psychiatrist i have seen in 50 years. There are not words to thank her for the care she has giving me. Probably saved my life. Also the first place that didnt need hundreds if dollars up front. I could afford it but how many people could. That is a big thing for most people. Wisconsin has very good mental health care. Just cant say enough about this place.

So far things have been good. Scheduling was fairly easy, maintenance of a regularly scheduled visit (via video) has also been fine.

It was great to talk to someone trained on how the physical connects to the emotional. And how to treat the physical to help the emotional. I think it will be very beneficial.

I have had a very good experience with Janelle Aguilon as my Medication Manager. I am more than twice her age but that did not turn out to be an issue in any way at all. I am very glad and very lucky that I ended up with her. She is very professional & has more experience than I expected. After a few other bad experiences I am now doing very well thanks to Janelle.

I can honestly say that accessing the telehealth services offered by Heart-Centered Counseling is the simplest and most user-friendly process that I have ever come across. Accessing a virtual meeting is as simple as providing your email to receive a link to the video call and then clicking on that link. It is completely hassle free and, if you come across any issues, someone will offer to walk you through the entire process. Amazing experience!

Heart-Centered Counseling Tele-Therapy is a great option for anyone who may not be able to physically go into the office. It is also really nice to talk with the therapist from the comfort of my own home. The process is really simple to get set up, you are sent a link, and within a few simple clicks you are connected! The front desk service and management is super inept. This has been going on for months. I try to set up an appointment and that took a while. I tried to get help for a diagnosis and they dropped the ball for me for two months. This has resulted in many problems in my daughters school. And then they lost the insurance information and it took me 1.5 hours calling every 10 minutes to get a hold of them. And when I did, they told me that they DID have that information. And that I needed to call billing directly to ask them to resubmit a claim because they did have the insurance information on file. You will need counseling after you deal with this place.Update: I responded to an e-mail from LifeStance (which they sent to me after I posted this review) with my contact number and I have yet to hear from them. I also e-mailed them to ask them to correct the situation, I have not heard back from them.Update to update: They corrected the billing within a week and everything is going smoothly for now.

I love this place. They have rebranded recently, but I have had nothing but good experiences with everyone Ive met from the receptionist I first talked to 4 years ago to the psychiatric nurses and therapists. I met with Angela for support with Borderline Personality and she is hands down one of the most helpful therapists I have ever had (and Ive had a lot!) I meet with the psych nurse Kathleen V. for support with medications and she has been a miracle worker in helping me overcome addiction. She relates using her own experiences, stays on top of refills and is always fast to reply minus, of course, holidays or days where SHE probably needs a mental health break. My son met with Joel for some time both for emotional support and potentially ADHD. My son always had good things to say about him, and Joel provided a lot of very helpful feedback on improving both my and my sons behavior. 10/10 would recommend everyone I have ever met here.

The NP, Brittani, who I’ve been working with for a couple years now, since the good ol’ days of Heart Centered Counseling, has been wonderful and has greatly helped to improve my quality of life. The support staff, however, are difficult to get ahold of (I’ve always had to leave a voicemail, nobody ever actually answers), seem quite disorganized, and it isn’t clear to me, as a patient, who to contact for for what. If they don’t want to have a receptionist, the patient needs to be given some sort of handout or brochure as to who to contact for what. Going to “urgent care or the ER” is an unacceptable recommendation for patients who aren’t in a crisis but simply need questions answered within a reasonable timeframe.

Having the ability to meet from any location for counseling was fantastic. The virtual tools Heart-Centered Counseling Tele-Therapy utilizes are smooth and easy to navigate. You connect with secure communication through a simple link and before you know it you are speaking directly. The quality and care Heart-Centered Counseling offers is unique in technology integration, opening the doors to reach mental health near and far.

These folks need counseling as they are better at harming patients than helping. My daughters first appointment, the counselor never showed up and there was nobody we could call or ask questions to find out what happened at that time. Called later and got rescheduled, and her second appointment was cancelled after a few minutes because the counselor didnt accept our insurance. Then it took several weeks to get another appointment. Finally, about 4 weeks later, she got another appointment and it was cancelled before it happened. My daughter tried calling in and each time she would start to tell them what was happening, they would hang up on her. AVOID THIS CENTER! So 7 weeks into this joke, she has yet to have an appointment, and why would that matter, its not like she needs counseling - OH WAIT, yes she does but cant seem to get any!!! Only get 1 star because leaving zero stars is not an option!

Able to do telehealth visit with kind understanding therapist who work together.

Therapy can be very stressful. The idea of having a therapy session in your own personal space could make it more rewarding. Being in the comfort of my home to speak to someone about my issues at hand, made it all lot easier to express myself. Very helpful staff and the technology is easy to use.

Accessed services through Google. Super easy to connect to a live video by clicking through the link in my email. Audio was clear and overall, really easy to use. Instructions were straightforward, allowing me to login really fast. Would recommend this tele-therapy to anyone as its convenient and simple to navigate.

LifeStance Health Is a great therapy practice. They make me feel comfortable and easy to have a conversation.

This center is not interested in resolving issues and turned out to be a very unprofessional organization. I recently was moving to a new state and needed support with handling my medications. Our situation changed several times and I had a couple of requests. I did not know which insurance I would be on. I called to talk to someone about my complaint and she never called back with the resolution after I talked to her. Someone needs to review there policies on medication management. I saw the provider in person 2 times in 3 years and the rest on the phone. There title does not fit them. They are not heart centered when the rubber meets the road! They are interested in churning clients to make money. I am very disappointed on how my situation was handled.

I highly recommend the telehealth services with Heart-Centered Counseling. The platform is so easy to use and they are so kind. Mental health is vitally important and counseling services are needed now more than ever. I was referred to this business by my primary care dr. At Centura Health! It took an act of God to get an appt. I finally did (a month out). Then the “Nurse Practioner” Amanda Moret, who is supposedly an expert on prescribing meds for depression and anxiety tells me you should never have never been on duloxotene it is adding to your problem and prescribes a large dose of Sertraline. And three to five day taper then full dose. If you have any problems she said, just call or shoot me an email. Well I have been miserable for a week. I have called six times and emailed three times and have yet to receive a response!! I would not recommend this group to my worst enemy!! Thanks for nothing!!

Not a place for you or your family during time of trauma of divorce. Heart Centered will only communicate and work with one parent. If your divorce is contested at all, I would highly recommend seeking a more professional place. We tried to work with 3 counselors and the office manager and each one has said that only 1 parent can be involved and receive information. Just not suitable for divorce. But I see many issues with their stance beyond divorce.

I 100% would recommend Health-Centered to all of my family and friends! As someone who has struggled most of their life with severe depression & anxiety, I found their tele-health session so refreshing. I was able to speak with someone from the comfort & safety of my home, & the process was sooo easy from start to finish. I will definitely continue using their services!

During times of uncertainty this year, they’ve made it a little more comforting to have a visit from your own home. The process to log into the tele-health visit was so easy! I have had a tremendous experience w/ Maggie. Years of looking for a therapist culminated in finding Maggie, who has been a fantastic partner in my personal development.

The therapist I had was pretty cool, very kind and listened. Although I don’t think she took many notes because I had to recount several subjects with her on almost every visit.However, the reason for the low review is because I was working with a psychiatrist through them, Adam O., for almost 4 months now and all he has done is prescribe me medications I have already taken, even after I have told him they don’t work. He then rattles off several medications every session and then asks me what I want to take, I’m not a Dr, I don’t know these meds or side effects off the top of my head?? During our previous session he prescribed me a sleeping medication at a low dose, even after I told him I’ve taken it at that dose before with no relief or effects. Couldn’t sleep a whole night for almost a week, was up two nights straight as well. After this last session, he prescribed me a medication that isn’t even covered by my insurance and is $1,000 out-of-pocket if I still wanted to fill it. I’ve tried emailing him and calling the office several times, no answer. So if you’re going for therapy, I recommend but beyond that, I’d find someone else for meds!

My counselor is amazing, and the benefit of being able to talk to her via the web is a added bonus. Definitely give this company a try.

He has also makes me laugh on many occasions and it honestly improves my day! I’ve seen a few counselors before but he is by far my favorite. Highly recommend!

Awful assistance with my mental health. My opinions and thoughts about the medication I am on are not listened. I get told, we will just refill your meds and lets just increase the dosage of the medication you are currently on. I have asked multiple people to help me get in touch with my counselor to get me off the medication and onto one that actually works, nothing comes of it.

Joe Grossman provided excellent guidance and support when I needed help but didnt know how to take the steps towards healing. He helped me develop my non existent self esteem and overcome my heavy self criticism. I learned how to listen and communicate better and take control of my life for the first time. I can balance my emotions and logic to make better decisions with the resources he provided me. I have a lot of hard work ahead of me but with his help I am finally able to allow myself to love and accept myself and overcome my own inner demons. I will always appreciate his time and efforts in helping me heal and become whole. I will recommend him to anyone who needs help and feels lost. Thank you Joe.

The Tele-therapy option they have is great. I cannot always make it to my counseling appointment because I am not able to physically make it in to the office. This option helps me keep my appointments. I was intimidated before my first time using it. It took less than 10 min to get started my first time. I realized its better if you are already using the google chrome browser and logged into your google account. Then when you receive the meeting link in your email you can open the link right into google chrome. Once I was in the meeting the call quality was great with my sound system on my computer. It is comforting to see the person your talking to in front of you. Not in person but it was the next best thing for me.

I live almost an hour from the nearest counselor in a very rural area. It is a three hour trip for me to go to town and talk to someone. I met with Christi from Heart-Centered Counseling through telehealth and it was great! I felt very comfortable being at home in my own space. The platform was easy to use - I just had to click a link! Even with my very rural internet, the video and voice quality was excellent! I will definitely use telehealth for appointments in the future!

The “tele-therapy” service here is so easy to use. All I did was download the free “Hangouts Meet” app by Google then I used my google email account to log in and I was connected. Very simple to set up and it only took 5 minutes. So much easier than driving all the way to an office!

The tech used for tele-therapy is super simple! Its comfortable to be in my own home with a licensed therapist at my fingertips. Ive done other tele-therapy in small clinic rooms with paper thin walls that dont allow you to really express how everything is without the fear of being heard! 2 buttons and youre there!
