Therapists are great, but if you go to the Riverside, directions are impossible. They dont tell you which of the 3 buildings your appointment is in, and the sheet of paper with the lists of therapists needs to be updated. Not only is it in only one building that we could see, but it didnt even list the therapist we were going to. It took us 15 minutes of wandering and finally finding someone to help to be able to find the correct office. We tried the phone number posted to get directions, and were on hold for the whole 15 minutes. Please find a better way to help your clients navigate your confusing campus. Our appointment was great, but the navigation was frustrating and nearly impossible without help.

My review is long over due. I am sure Life Stance has very qualified therapist that can make a difference in the lives of those seeking help. However, in my case, I encountered a very difficult situation with the therapist I was seeing. My situation was handled very poorly, not only by that therapist, but also by those in positions of leadership at Life Stance. Long story short, I was hospitalized for 4 days due to the incompetent manner in which they handled my situation, and I am still recovering from the whole situation I went through with them... Along the way, afterwards, I have met some very caring and supportive therapist and counselors who heard my story and agree that my situation was indeed handled very poorly... In addition, dont expect your messages to be returned promptly. Pardon my french, but their front line support really sucks.

I had a great experience with this platform! A link was sent to my Gmail account with one Join Meeting button. I was connected with the therapist with one click. This technology was very intuitive, and the audio and video were clear and easy to use.Knowing I can talk to a therapist from my home is extremely comforting. I would definitely recommend this platform for therapy services!

Going through this experience was easy breezy! I just waited for the email, clicked “join” to join the call and my phone did the rest! I didn’t have to download any type of app or connect my audio or video manually; there was absolutely no hassle. I parked and took my call in the car and was able to hear and see clearly during the entire thing. It was awesome that I didn’t have to physically go anywhere. Seriously can’t wait for more people to try this out!

My psychiatrist is 10/10. I adore them, but Life stance as a company is AWFUL. Make plans to call them because you will be on hold for a while...if the automated system doesnt hang up on you. The staff did a great job at connecting me to the right doctor, but getting ahold of them is nightmarish. 72 hours before my meds could get refilled? This company is why health care is so flawed. They have AMAZING doctors, but all of the hoops you have to go through just to get a hold of someone is terrible. AND if you say that you can book appointments online then let us...and not say that we actually have to call. I dont have 20 minutes to stay on hold when Im at work.

It probably has more to do with the therapist you see, but Ive had a wonderful experience. I see Lesley Caldwell and she helped me tremendously with my depression. She also has really awesome exercises for working through trauma, so if thats a key issue for you Id recommend her highly. When I first approached this practice I had never done therapy before, but the receptionists who helped me schedule were extremely helpful and patient and respond to voicemails very quickly. I have never been to the actual place due to starting therapy in the midst of the pandemic, but I am overall very satisfied with my experience and would recommend checking out their list of therapists and their bios on their website, as thats how I found someone who worked for me.

This has been helpful through this pandemic. I somewhat agree with an earlier post the you can tell the therapists are nw, however I think they also really want to help, more than someone who makes so much money they can drop you from their practice for any reason they feel.Overall it has been a positive experience. Doing it over the computer is easy, but not my preference.

I highly recommend the tele-therapy services that Heart-Centered Counseling offers. The platform they use is very user-friendly. The start-up process consisted of logging into your email, clicking on a link, and then your session begins. My experience could not have been better. The process of telehealth with the therapist was super easy to navigate. Received an email and just had to click a link to connect. We had some hiccups with the initial connection but the tech support was easy to understand and resolved in less than 5 minutes! She was patient and kind. I highly recommend the tele-therapy service available :) it is a great way for anyone in a remote location or for any reason not able to leave their home to still receive mental health services. I think asking for help is one of the toughest things you can do, and this center makes it 100x easier. You can schedule with a 1st-time appointment right there over the phone, they check your insurance for you, and send appointment reminders right to your email or phone! They made my first appointment with a nurse instead of a therapist. I did not need to see a nurse I needed a therapist so I had to pay for a useless appointment that I didnt need. Then my second appointment that was finally going to be with a therapist was cancelled because they double booked the appointment. And now in the last week Ive tried calling a couple times to try and make an appointment and no one has been answering the phone!

One star is for their call-back/return call rate which is abysmal-- it took an unbelievable amount of messages to get in for myself-- business runs without support staff front-desk so the first appointments is a challenge?? That said the counselor I saw was outstanding. There are pretty offices, and exceptional counselors. Now heres my beef, I had to make herculean effort to have my teenager call (father is bi-polar, and blocked efforts to have her seen), she finally called--three months ago, but never was her call for an appointment acknowledged/returned. Im sorry to say that she felt like she didnt matter. Ive worked in places where there is support staff that comes from high school program where the cost is reduced. Why cant this business due this?

Telehealth access was extremely simple, easy, and comfortable- its no wonder that people have been rating telehealth appointments to be just as good as in-person therapy. Additionally, I like that the organization uses HIPPA-compliant encryption for their telehealth video chats; its a great extra level of privacy.
