Total disregard for human well being, managers dont help out with daily needs staff left short handed to do all task. And sometimes multitasking which means people left uncared for. But there are a few heroes that still work here. God bless them too good luck

My mother was a resident at Oakridge. I have to give the staff an A+++! They were amazing! Mom could not have gotten better care anywhere! These staff members, including the director Claudia, went out of their way to provide a positive stay for my mother. If there wasnt a driver to take mom to an appointment, then someone on the staff would take her! Claudia, even took mom to appointments when the driver was not available. I would not hesitate to recommend Oakridge to a person needing Assisted Living care.

Ive been at Oakridge since July 2014. I had a major stroke before I moved there! So, Ive grown up there, the residents and staff are my family!! Its my home!! It has its good days and bad days! The core staff is always there for you Through thick and thin!! The core staff truly cares for the residents and go above and beyond the call of duty!! Many of the core employees have been there longer than I have!! So, there dedication is beyond reproach!!

Ive been associated with The Residence at Oakridge for the past five years. My adopted Mother and brother were residents. After my adopted mother passed, and my brother moved on to a more intensive care center, I have been pouring coffee four mornings a week and assisting residents with various tasks, from helping move furniture to installing shelves, and helping move boxes for various activities. Through my time interacting with most all of the residents, I have had the opportunity to observe both the staff and residents. Over the years Ive heard complaints from some residents, but can honestly say that most are very minor, but always addressed none the less, and the majority are usually made by the same residents that are never satisfied by any amount of staff help. I have the utmost respect for the caring staff. Everyone from the administrator to the Medical staff to the maintenance people are top notch. The entire team has always showed respect for the residents and from what Ive seen, are always doing their best to assist the residents with all of their needs. The Kitchen Lead has made a great effort to address any/all concerns that the residents have brought up while he has requested comments about the menu. As with any facility, not everything is perfect, but in my visits to many other facilities, Id rank The Residence at Oakridge near the top of my list.Dean Gebhardt

After 17 years of working in this facility, I become tired of tired reviews that are maliciously inaccurate, coming from mean people. I guess the internet has room for such intent. The truth about The Residence at Oakridge is that we are a family, and truly care about the people we serve, both Residents and Staff alike. We have the greatest, most loyal group of volunteers that cannot be matched anywhere. Half of the staff on payroll have worked here for ten years or more, and are the best staff you will find in this business. True, we are not perfect, but one thing is for certain, we are extremely dedicated and juggle a lot of responsibility with our jobs, to include going above and beyond what other Assisted Livings offer. We have Superb Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Podiatrist, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists, who visit our facility on a regular basis. Just ask one of them about the care we give our Residents and they will give you true and accurate testimony. Please keep us in mind if you know of anyone needing an Assisted Living. We accept Medicaid, and are below everyone elses Private Pay amount. Thanks for reading.

As a parent finding places that hire at 16 is a challenge. As a mother I reached out to places to ask if they had any positions available for a 16 year old. Carrie who I spoke with called me back after my original contact with her. She is wonderful and has excellent people skills. My daughter interviewed with Patrick in the kitchen. He asked her to work from 6:30am to 7pm on Sundays. Before allowing this man to be involved in the hiring process you may want to ensure he is competent and he knows the labor laws for Colorado and minors who are fulltime students. He also began texting my daughter more than a professional number of times for an employer and older adult male. Texted her during school hours. She was hired. Her first day (Sunday) she was suppose to begin training with Patrick. Patrick left and left her with so much work one of the caregivers went in and helped her. To this woman I say thank you. Monday another person in the kitchen again left early and no one left to train or help. I understand turning staff over as I have an extensive background in HR and management. No paperwork done. No management staff other than Patrick even met her. A horrible experience for a first job. I am so disappointed in everyone within the management staff. Continue on this path and you will continue to turn staff. Called to make the Director know of my daughters first 2 days of employment challenges and of course she was not in the office. Spoke with Carrie on the challenges and was not impressed when she went silent during our conversation. As her parent I removed my daughter from this environment. SAD!

The worst place to work for. Its not a joke that you have to fight for your last paycheck. The most rude, unprofessional establishment ever.

All but one of the med techs were nice but extremely overworked. Not a place to put your loved one in if you arent able to visit regularly. Also, they dont have reliable transportation to doctors offices. The van drivers would have too heavy of a schedule and would be late to doctors appointments.
