We only stayed overnight and thats a good thing. The entry to the park is beautiful. We were in back part of the park with mostly permanent tenants. Did not see any gravel sites, very few have any grass at all. No picnic table, no fire pit, dirt site. It was level though. Expect more for $56It

We stopped here overnight after a very long drive day. The staff here are wonderful and set us up for a late check in.. Gravel flat level sites, most are pull thru with full hookups. There is even a pond with a porch swing. Nice respite after driving all day. We wished we could have stayed another day before hitting the road again. Good network coverage as well!

This campground leaves little to be desired. The staff is friendly, the grounds are well kept and the sites are roomie. We travel all over the country and Florence RV park is on the top of the list. I definitely recommend a stay here and enjoy some fishing or swimming or horseshoe s or basketball. The kids can play at the playground and adults can enjoy a fire and friends.

Spent two nights here as a stopover. Easy access in and out. It is obvious the new owners are making updates and changes to the park Lots of new and improved stuff. Sites was gravel and level. Roads are gravel and well maintained. Some of the buildings are dated but they are maintaining them well. Lots of long term folks here but we had no issues. We went through the entire park and saw no old run down rigs. Pool was clean and playground for children was nice. We will definitely stop in and stay again as we travel I-95.

My husband and I decided to move from West Virginia to South Carolina for better job opportunities in June and found the Florence RV park to stay at. When me and my husband first arrived at the rv park they had a nice staff, clean bath house, spacious lots, and very friendly neighbors! We arrived in June and since then the park has went through several different managers who have all made changes to the park. The new management the rv park currently has is VERY strict about everything!! We have gotten one complaint about our dogs barking when we first got there because they weren’t used to being around lots of people but after a while they calmed down and hadn’t barked as often. Since the new management has come in they shared our personal info about all of the “complaints” we’ve gotten with our neighbors who me and my husband personally know but it was very unprofessional of her to do so! They left ONE note on our door saying we’ve been told multiple times to clean up our campsite and we were never told once! The note had said we’d been warned about dogs barking, a mess outside our camper, and dogs leaving a mess we never clean up.Outside our campsite is a grill, chair, mini fridge, and filing cabinet none of that stuff was out in the way it was all beside the camper nice and neat and they called it a mess!! One the note it also said that we have to now leave the park because we’ve been told multiple times to clean up and they have only told us once and like I mentioned earlier we were never told to clean up. In my honest opinion anyone who plans on staying here for longer then a month I would recommend you go somewhere else!! They are trying to get rid of more permanent campers so they can make more money off of new people coming in! I can’t express enough how heartbroken this has made me not only do we now have to move back to West Virginia but we have also lost so much money hoping this would work out for us. I wish anyone who stays here to have a better experience then we did!!

I made reservations in May for two sites that were side by side. When we arrived there labor day weekend for the race. We didnt have the sites they originally gave us and it wasnt even close to each other. Bathhouses closed at 9pm which is an inconvenience when you get back late. Everything else was good to go. Pool was very clean and nice.

Do not stay here. They will charge you a deposit for the picnic table and never give it back. They have given me the run around for almost a year. They say that it is not the same company; but they should have some obligation since the name of the park never changed.

I will start out by saying that it is easily accessible off of 95, and when I called to book the lady I spoke with was extremely nice. My daughter really loved how the ducks would just follow her and hang out on our doorstep. With that being said, we will definitely not be stopping here again. Most of the campers are permanent, many are run down and very trashy looking outside. The one close by has a dog locked outside in a small crate, in the 95 degree (today) weather with a tarp over it. We felt so bad for the poor thing. Then we noticed that the tree we’re parked basically on top off is CRAWLING with cockroaches. Our first bad RV park experience. Would not recommend.

Sites were small, uneven, and had large potholes you had to maneuver around trying to get into your site. No cable, but could get some local channels using antenna. The only positive, was the young lady working the office. She actually came out and apologized for the site when we discussed it with her. Never saw any outside workers.

The very first day our camper became infested with ants. When we called, they did do something to get rid of them but by evening the ants were all through our camper. Then around 3:00am someone got into the outside side compartment and unplugged our refrigerator. Thankfully it set an alarm off that woke us and after investigating, we saw the three pronged plug unplugged with the compartment door unlatched. It is also right next to 95 so the interstate noise was very loud.

The size of the sites and use of site for over night traveling customers does not justify the cost of $45-$50. This is 20% higher than any campground I have stayed in the past Two years. The rate even includes capital project fee. Capital project is funds spend by owners decision as an investment of the owner not something the customer camping is suppose to pay. All of this expenditure should be include in the rate. Someone traveling is spending about 12 hours in the campsite but charged in excess for daily rate. Campers Beware

Stayed here for a month. Nice RV Park. Everyone who works there are very nice. There are limited sites WITH sewer hookup. Not like the previous person said. It is quiet. A nice pond with a few ducks, which people feed, they are friendly. We didnt use the pool, too cold. The laundry room has 3 washers and 3 dryers. They work well. They have a rec room. Has a TV, ping pong table, checkers, movies books and more. They have a fenced area for the dogs to play in, which was great. They even supply bags to pick up after your dog. For Thanksgiving they had a getogether and supplied the meat and others had to bring a dish, which was real nice. The park has new owners and are working on improving the park. We plan on returning. The only problem we had were ants because of the trees, which they are going to cut some down. They did give us some spray to use. Thanks Eunice, Travis, Bob, Sergio and the rest. We will see you again.

Stopped overnight 10/30/20 office closes @ 6pm so we were instructed to use the late registration box, and pay in morning @ 9am when office opens. We saw the manager when we pulled in. He told us to park anywhere but theres no sewer hookups, theyre in the process of putting sewer in all sites. He also said we could get propane in morning. We get up, and wait till 9. Go to the office, and the rate $67 w no sewer, no activities, nothing other than pool, pond, tired playground? Oh, and was told No Propane after all bc theyve been told they have to enclose it 1st. Didnt he tell us we could get it in the AM ?Sorry price is steep for what you get. These are New Owners since Sept., so Im willing to give them another shot, but they need to reduce their price until they fix the place up, or i wont be back. Theyre a young couple so I wish them luck, and hope they do well, but campers expect certain things for a steep price.

NEW OWNERS AND NEW MANAGEMENT! WOO HOO!!This is a clean and pleasant park right off of I95 and is convenient to McLeod hospital for medical travelers working in the area. The park has transitioned to new ownership with new managers on the property and I have to say it is a MAJOR improvement over the old owner/manager.This park has a small catch and release pond, very pretty sunsets, a playground, a half basketball court, horseshoes, a pool, a fenced dog area, bath facilities, and a clubhouse with laundry facilities. Theres also propane on site. Many of the sites are pull-through and they can accommodate big rigs. There are full hook up sites as well as water/electric only sites so theres budget friendly options depending on your needs. There are also small cabins near the pond for rent. There are sites with trees and sites with sun; some sites are sand and others have grass. The new owners are slowly but surely fixing up the park and have abolished old ridiculous rules requiring deposits for picnic tables and fire rings.Gone for good are the bullying tactics of the former owner and his intimidation methods of running the park! He lost my reservation (even though I had text evidence of it), and then spent 10 minutes berating me and yelling at me for not wanting to move from the temporary site Id been put in because I liked the site and it fit my 42ft rig and truck well. According to him it had to be reserved for Class As hauling trailers. Luckily, the new owners came in, saw the way he was bullying me and treating me, and they made everything right! They honored my lost reservation and let me keep the site I was already parked in. Great customer service from the new managers and David is now gone for good from the park premises!Pleasant park for monthly stays for medical travelers, and its priced appropriately for the area. Quick drive to McLeod hospital! This park will continue to improve under the new management!

I would not recommend this campground to anyone. The majority of the campers are long term working on local jobs. These are hardworking guys and gals working typically 6 days per week. They pay $500-$600 per month to stay there and you would think the owner would appreciate them and their business. He definitely should not be in a business dealing with the public. He spends most of the day riding around in his golf cart trying to find something, anything to complain about. He installed mountain like speed bumps which was definitely way more than what was needed. believe he has cameras in various locations because of certain things he said. That in itself is creepy. The sites are sand, which is very hard on the camper floor. He likes to email with complaints when he is unable to contact you in person. The location was good but highway noise is a problem. Not my idea of a family fun campground, not relaxing and definitely not welcoming. Keep looking if you want a nice campground..this one is NOT it.

This park is located very conveniently, right off I-95. The gas stations, restaurants, and stores we needed are within a 10 mile radius of the park. There are a great deal of spots to visit if youre a history buff, all within a relatively fair distance from the park. AND a really awesome Harley Davidson store nearby!!!They have a beautiful pond stocked with plenty of fish 🐟 and you can fish at your leisure without being bothered by anyone which is fantastic! It is a catch and release pond and you cannot swim in it, however, they do have a pool area for swimming. There are also all different sorts of birds and beautiful wildlife. Being so close to the interstate, you wouldnt think so, but there are!You can rent a cute little log cabin that provides you with a refrigerator, fan and/or heater, comfy mattresses with fluffy, soft comforters, and the cabins are right on the pond which makes for a great night relaxation spot, and gorgeous morning view 🙂! I saw a beautiful crane staring at me while I was drinking my morning cup of joe at my cute little picnic table, coffee which the office also provides!!! They are opening a store in the office too, which will be great! You wont have to leave for an ice run!!!Laundry facilities are clean and located in the clubhouse where you can sit and relax watching a movie, or reading a book while your laundry is washing/drying. The cost of laundry is fair. The bath houses are clean and tidy. They are a little out of date, but they are also remodeling those as well. They are in perfect proximity of all the lots and there are plenty of showers to go around if you need them!I heard the past owner was a bully and a straight up A-hole. I met him and didnt have any problems. He was nice, but they were on their way out. Im glad I didnt have to endure that if it were true. It is under new ownership as of 3 or so weeks ago, I believe. The new management team there, especially a woman named Anne, were very friendly and accommodating. And we didnt have any problems with any staff there. They keep it beautiful and well landscaped. They provide drive-through lots for any size camper or RV, have great short term and long term lots available, awesome new picnic tables, and provide a night registration booth if youre late arriving after the office closes! The maintenance guy, Sergio, was truly a God-Send when we needed something fixed at our site. We called and he came within 5 minutes and had our problem solved in 10! Amazing worker, very dedicated as we could tell. They have been overhauling the entire park under the new ownership, so the problem that arose was understandable as the past owners didnt keep up with maintenance. But all that is changing and it is a wonderful place to be in.They have a dog yard where you can let your dogs loose and play, also providing doggie doo-doo bags for convenience! Awesome! The dumpsters get full quick but also emptied 3 times a week, so we didnt smell nasty garbage in the course of our stay! Another Awesome!! Some parks weve been to were horrendous when it came to smelling trash! So glad it wasnt like that here!I really dont have anything bad to say about this place. It was a pleasant stay. We felt safe, they have working cameras and security so if you leave something valuable outside by mistake and forgetfulness, its ok!Its coming along nicely 🙂! Kudos for Anne taking on such a disasterous feat in transforming the RV Park, as I heard about all the chaos you had to endure taking over such an unmanaged, and messy place. Youre doing an excellent job, baby steps! Thanks so much for the wonderful experience and it was a pleasure to have met you! Hopefully we will see each other again in the future! We definitely connected and I will truly miss you!Youre part of MY family now and we will keep in touch 💖!Thanks Florence RV Park and Campground! Perfect, unforgettable experience 😉!Oh yes.., almost forgot to mention, their Free Wi-Fi is exceptional!(Ill update my review with more pictures as soon as I go through them all!)

They claim to be on call. We have requested a fire ring and they say we have to wait until the following day. Supposedly the owners and other staff are on site and on call but no one can get it. I would have thought there would be one once we paid for the site for a month at a time. The restrooms/ showers/ laundry rooms are all on timers. Thats a great idea unless you are trying to bathe yourself and your two kids. 30 minutes just isnt enough time until the lights cut off. The entire camp ground is so difficult to navigate through. You cant tell what is the main drives and what are sites. They have security lights that are kept off to save electricity but in the mean time it is extremely difficult to see to drive/ walk at night. Since being here we have had 2 propane tanks stolen, someones chained down generator was stolen, and another persons propane tanks were stolen. Even with the theft there has been no added security, no increased lighting, no security cameras as of yet. We have been told a few times, Its being worked on. There is zero parking on the borders of the office/ laundry building and they get on to you for parking on the perimeter of the office. I have 2 very young kids and am doing laundry for 4 . You have to lug the laundry and kids back and forth across the drive where campers and vehicles are entering and exiting the camp grounds. I see great space outside the laundry room that could be converted into parking but isnt. I would never recommend this camp ground to a single person. Its really a shame because it takes a lot for me to leave a negative review. Laundry costs $2 to wash a lightly soiled load and increases if you need to change the settings. It costs $2 to dry a load. EVERY time I have to re-dry at least one of my loads because they are still damp when its done. I have heard several peoples complaints several are similar thi mine and there seems to be no compromises/ solutions/ or results.

Right off of I-95, very convenient. GREAT little place.

Beautiful park with a nice pool, a lake and some cute little cabins. There are a lot of ducks and geese hanging around as well. The bathrooms here are the cleanest bathrooms Ive seen yet.

Every time My Husband and I are close to Florence in Our RV ( We have Family Here in Florence)this is where We Stay. We have been staying at Florence RV Park for Several Years now.It is clean , Peaceful, and everyone that We have met that works there ARE KIND, COURTEOUS , And TREAT YOU LIKE YOU ARE PART OF THEIR FAMILY!!As long as The People remain so nice and everything remains clean We will BE BACK!!!( The only thing I would add to it is a closed in Heated Pool so I could spend The Cold months right at Florence RV Park . But I understand 😀)

I liked the convenience of the access from the Interstate, but is noisy. Park is small and they have a quiet hours from 10PM to 8AM. Play ground and small pool are nice if you have children. For pet owners they have a fenced in area and small pond. Our frenchie loved to waddle in it. I didnt like the fact that they have a limited full hookups. Only electicity and water available. Facilities are clean.

Nice stop with an RV. Close to I-95 and gas stations. Food is quite the distance away so bring something to the park with you.

I recommend.Good people and quiet enough to sleep during the day. Has resident ducks that are friendly.Park has dirt spots fairly level. We needed to drive on wood but thats because we dont like lifting tires in the air. Had tree roots in spot.

Crazily overpriced, run down and not how their website makes it look (the pictures on the website are stock photos, not of Florence RV Park). Campers there are long term construction workers and one nighters that should have driven a little bit further down the road for 1/2 the price. By the way, if you want a picnic table, theyll charge you a $150 deposit!

A little distance from the interstate access rd to travel but close to the edge of the interstate. Reasonably priced. I would go there when im in the area.
