Awesome day with my grandson there
This has become one of my favorite BSA camps.
Like this camp so much better than Comer! Close to civilization if you need to buy something you forgot. Small and intimate, so everything is close and the kids cant get too far.
What a gorgeous, peaceful place. I love visiting Camp Westmoreland. Many improvements have been made over the years including a new bath/shower house, renovations to the kitchen and a new rifle range. They have put water to the campsites making this a must visit camp, along Shoals Creek, for scouts.
Great BSA camp. Smaller than some of the other regional camps but provides some great resources for the Shoals region. Both of my sons participated in the annual twilight camps for the cub scouts and had wonderful experiences.
Lots of space and adequate facilities. Its a nice change front Camp Jackson and Camp Comer.
Camp Westmoreland is a fantastic Scout Camp. Troop 78 is here for a weekend of Merit Badge training and fun.The new bunk houses spread throughout the camp come in handy for rain, and our boys have already earned two Merit Badges this weekend.Blake StephensonCORTroop 78MHBSFlorence, AL
