The customer service was nice but the prices they make up are ridiculous. $60 dollars for contact fitting never heard of that in my life every eye care professional recommends which contact they feel is more suitable for you. I have great insurance and that isn’t covered!!! Seems to me that they are just out to make money not help their community. Sorry you lost my business!!

I and my wife have been going to this VisionWorks for several years for contacts. The place is nice and clean with plenty of parking. The staff is courteous enough and kind of friendly. I just wish I could say that they are professional. In all of these years, there has not been a single year when there has not been one or the other problem with our orders. Either it is incomplete, or late or it could be just sitting in their desk and no one bothered to call the customer. This year my wife spent almost 2 hours getting an eye exam out of which she was waiting for more than an hour. When her contacts were delivered they were only 6 months supply and not the 12 month supply that we paid for. When we called the store they told us that we will have to come to the store to get rest of the lenses. Why did they not just give them to us when paid for them at the time of the exam?? I just wish they were a little more professional.

I’ve had good experiences here. I’ve mainly been helped by Anna and she’s knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Some of the other employees don’t seem as experienced or organized but overall, I think they deserve a 4 star rating.

Love this place! Showed up 30 minutes before my appointment time and went right in and was out 15 minutes after my appointment time! Pleased with the service! Everyone was very friendly and helpful! Thank you for being there when I need new glasses! This was my second time getting glasses there and I will definitely be back when I need to get a new prescription!

The optometrist who did my exam was so kind. She answered any extra questions I had and was also efficient. Both my sister and my dad got glasses that day and the technician who helped them set it up was knowledgeable and worked with my sister to ship the glasses because they were not in stock at this store. 👏👏

I love coming to this location (Fishers). They are always super nice and really quick. They are all great at explaining everything and making me comfortable. The girl at the desk was helpful through the entire process. From coming in til I left. I got to see photos of the back of my eye balls and I found the perfect pair of glasses!

I have been a customer at this location for almost 6 years and for the most part had experienced relatively good service. This year was an absolute nightmare as far as getting my prescriptions. Where to even start... From the moment I went to my appointment I knew that there was no semblance of customer service.Apparently checking a customer in is not as important as like pictures on instagram, the receptionist made that very clear, it took me well over a month to actually take my new glasses home. I received texts that my lenses were in even when they werent. I live 30 min from this location and specifically drove to it because I have had good experiences in the past. This happened on 2 occasions.Next I call in the morning to see that their technician is in to replace my lenses, I am told yes and that it will take me no more than an hour to replace which is perfectly acceptable. When I arrive they tell me that it wont be done for up to 4 hours. I cant see without my glasses, but have a job and no one seems to be there on the weekends. So i then proceed to have to drive home. When I arrive to my house I get a notification that my lenses are done. Just a complete disregard of communication.Finally, I pick up my glasses today, and I patiently waited to be greeted by a receptionist or worker, and apparently all of them are too busy looking at their computers. I then finally get my new glasses and they have marker marks and dust and dirt all over them. Completely filthy. I ask if there is a number I can call to leave a review for the store, and I get dirty looks from the workers near me. Also apparently a manager was not in the store while I was there, and never seems to be in.A couple of notes:1. Do you train your employees on customer service? If the 2021 initiative is to blatantly show zero customer empathy and service then you all are doing a phenomenal job.2. How can you expect people to pay $300+ on glasses and then just have insanely poor communication and show no regard?3. I have been a longstanding customer with visionworks, and I am so incredibly disappointed by this location because I have always had great service in the past. This has been an abysmal experience, and I will 100% be in search of a new provider that focuses on customer service.4. I will be making sure that I communicate to anyone that cares to not visit this location.

I went to Visionworks for the first time after being unhappy with my previous eye doctor. The team here was amazing. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. I recommend Visionworks and look forward to coming back to an office where I feel respected and listened to.

Was in yesterday for an exam and to order new glasses. The staff was super friendly and made the visit most enjoyable. The first young lady I dealt with, a young middle eastern lady, was so great. Very attentive. Doctor Johnson really took his time to make sure I got what i needed in the exam. The other lady that did my ordering and checkout was fabulous. Just a great experience doing something that I had been putting off. Really glad I listened to my wife and went to Visionworks instead of where I went last time. Very pleased!!

Booked an appointment two days ago. I received the confirmation email and texts for 5:00 pm today. The lady from the Fishers location called me just before 1:00 pm stating that the online appointments are never accurate as the location has different and double bookings today.How unprofessional is this? It was not clear that this was the case when I booked the appointment online. The lady, Emily, stated that it is best to call to make appointments. This may not be her fault however this is a huge inconvenience for me and other customers. Why have an online system available if it does not accurately serve the customers? Again, very unprofessional and misleading. I have been a customer before and my daughter just had her exam there and it will certainly be our last. Good luck to the other customers.

I was very nervous about getting the best care and making sure I was using my insurance correctly. They took the time and they walked me through their best offers that would pair with my insurance to give me great quality care. I found the cutest pair of glasses and felt very comfortable with the doctor in practice! Even the guy who helped fit us and go over our policy and payment was awesome! I definitely recommend going here. I’ll be back for sure!

I decided to switch locations because this one was closer to me. Worst decision I ever made. The doctor said that my prescription was higher but they didnt have the contacts in. So she went with my old script I had from 2017 in my wallet to get me into contacts to at least wear home. I didnt know she signed off on the actual prescription which was the entire wrong one not the new one. I have had headaches for the last month now. Yesterday evening I decided to take them out. The headaches subsided. I called and this very rude uncaring representative explained only the doctor that did my eye appointment can help me and she wasnt in. So I said the other doctor cant help me. He said she wasnt the one that saw you so no. Then he says you signed off on that prescription too. So I dont know. Im almost pleading with this man for help. His tone was very uncaring and he kept repeating they couldnt help me.I should have NEVER switched. The other Visionworks has always treated me well.

Scheduled an appointment on the phone and that same week they got my eye exam taken care of. Very quick process and the appointment went smoothly as planned despite any possible delays due to Covid. I spoke with both doctors and they were very professional. Got my prescription now so I can get diopters!Thank you!

I really enjoyed my experience here. I stopped in on Saturday just to look at the selection, and the lady at the front desk advised me that I would be able to get in right away. My total appointment was approximately 45 minutes start to finish! The doctor was very friendly and very informative. Though I was a walk-in, I didnt feel like she was rushing me, and she was able to answer ALL of my questions. The selection was nice, and I was able to pick them up within 2 days. (They should be ready today by 5pm). All the staff were very friendly. I am an observer, so everyone in the place was greeted immediately and treated promptly. Overall, great experience and would HIGHLY recommend this place.

We had a great experience at Visionworks! We were running late so they bumped my sons appointment back 30 minutes, which helped us tremendously. Once we arrived, the staff was kind and helpful. My son was apprehensive about all of the testing but they explained exactly what they were doing and why. He found a pair of glasses he loves and cant wait to pick them up. Fantastic visit. Greeted warmly when I arrived. All of the early testing was efficiently done and clearly explained. Saw the doctor after a reasonable wait. Visit with the doctor was most thorough Ive ever had. I left without any questions as to my available options. The staff seemed overworked, so the corporate team would do well to budget to allow more staffing (which would help cut down on some of the negative (and exaggerated) reviews), but the staff made my experience enjoyable nonetheless. Great staff, great doctor, great visit.

I’ve been in here twice so far and both times it seemed obvious they are severely understaffed. The phone always seems to be ringing and no one answers it. Oh wait, yes they do. As we were waiting for an associate to HAND US A RECEIPT she decided to pick up the phone and apparently could not multi task as we stood there for five extra minutes for our receipt. We only got it when a different associate walked by and saw us waiting and handed us our receipt. Just go elsewhere, the front office is totally unorganized.

Recieved a promised delivery date 10.05.19. Called in to see where the glasses were. Theyre not sure but they should be in by Monday now. I asked to speak to a manager and was put on a extremely long hold, very unprofessional. All in all I expected a better experience.

I walked in to see if they could help me adjust a set of glasses that I had purchased from another store up north. They were helpful and made adjustments for me. They did not charge me. They were very friendly and competent. I would go there again and recommend them to my friends.

They have had $150 of mine for two years now. They ordered contacts that they said they called me to pick up. I never approved of any of the contacts they let me trial and never called me to come pick them up. Ive been to the location three times to get to the bottom of it with no answer. They call me to remind me to set up an appointment and each time I remind them they still have my $150. Still no resolution. So much turnover you will never see the same Dr twice. They air their grievances with each other in front of customers. I could go on and on. Do not waste your time thinking you will save money.

Everyone at Vision Works was very friendly and helpful. The only exception would be Jason (I think that is his name). Maybe this is not fair because I don’t know his job but he seemed a little lazy and not like the rest of the staff. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is a personal health issue. Going from chair to chair and moving them on the rug was hard on me. I have severe back issues. It would have been helpful to have a handicapped opening for the door as well. I trust their work and will be pleased to go to them again. I have already talked to my husband about going there.

Excellent first-time experience. Very friendly receptionist & pre-check technician. Doctor Venezia was genuine and even showed me pictures of the inside of my eyes and explained what she looks for. When selecting glasses, Teresa was not pushy at all. She let me take my time and at checkout she did everything she could to explain the costs and helped me cut a few items I didnt really need.

I almost didnt go to this location because of the reviews... but Ive learned to take online reviews with a grain of salt because many times people only write them for singularly bad experiences that arent representative of the a business as a whole. Everyone at the Visionworks at Ross Park Mall is kind and helpful! Had a really nice experience with both the front staff and the doc who performed my exam. Definitely recommend it!

You know, its a shame that I LOVED the doctor who completed my exam. She was awesome, very personable. . . what you want from a doctor.As for the rest of their staff, theyre friendly but its seems so fake. The woman who attended to me talked as if I was across the room. When it came time to discuss how much everything would cost, she was completely unprofessional. She had a calculator sitting in front of her and spoke quickly, in circles. Additionally, she would say things like, The frames would be this much plus the 39 for the fitting and 30 for the warranty but if you only get. . . and was not giving me real totals. She kept telling me I had to add this on or subtract that. I had to stop her once because she wasnt making any sense and I needed to write it down, for myself. Finally, after being fed up with her, I stopped her again and had to explicitly tell her that I wanted HER to tell me how much EVERYTHING would cost, together. Why in the world did you pull out the calculator to begin with? Also, if someone wants to know what their possible total may be, possible TOTAL, why would you give me itemized amounts?Lastly, while I was in their waiting room (devoid of magazines, a television, anything that could entertain you during a wait), there was a foreign family paying. I could hear the gentleman asking questions and the woman was not keeping a calm demeanor, in trying to explain the receipt he would receive.Ive already found another vision provider Ill be trying next time.

Do not come to this place. Horrible customer service. Was forced to leave with contacts in a brand that I have never tried on before. Tried on a different brand because I sleep in my contacts but am forced to leave with a brand never tried before and are not contacts you are able to sleep in. I have a very strong prescription and they do not have any trials where I can try this brand even on. These are my only choice. And I have to leave with them because this is what they ordered.I will be filing a complaint with the government for this illegal act.

I just want to start off saying I did not see the doctor so this is not a review of him.I decided to stop in, looking for wider selection and cheaper prices. I was not disappointed with what I saw. The front lady was very friendly and helped right away. Everything was ok until it came time to pay....I even mentioned prior, as somewhat of a joke, that I feel like I’m about to buy a car. There’s the sticker price and then there’s all the “upgrades”.So I made a point that all I want on both my glasses and sunglasses are the anti-glare lenses. She proceeds to go thru her sales pitch, which I expected. I again say that I just want anti-glare. She goes on to talk about polarized lenses. I ask how much extra. She tells me and I decline. So when wrapping up, she says “so you want the polarized lenses”. I say No!, frustrated by now. I asked what my total price will be and she starts listing a bunch of different prices, frames plus lenses plus anti glare. What’s the TOTAL?? She narrows it down and gives me the total for the glasses then the total for the sunglasses. So I just added it for myself. She shows me my itemized receipt for the glasses but I was so flustered that I didn’t realize she didn’t show me the breakdown for the sunglasses. I got home and looked at the receipt and low and behold, she charged me for polarized lenses after I said no 3 times! I called back and they said they’d refund $20 of the $60! What?!?!?! After arguing about that, I finally just ended the call. And before the lady got off the phone, she said “so you want me to leave the polarized lenses on?” NOOOOOO!!!!!Not surprisingly I have not been refunded the $60, and not even the $20. Will not go back. Lots of circular talking and dishonesty.

I went in yesterday after my glasses broke down the middle. I needed something fast. Even contacts, which I’ve never worn before. He had an opening for an appointment but advised that he wouldn’t have time to show me how to wear them because he was alone. I later decided to make an appointment for today thinking they would have time. After he called me to confirm my appointment and get my insurance information, I had faith in the process. I get there for my appointment today, fill out all the information, and even do the pre test portion. The associate then proceeds to tell me (the same one from yesterday) that he does not have time to show me how to use the contacts today but I can do the exam and buy glasses. He tried to say he didn’t know I was coming in today and that they were over booked. My boyfriend told him that he could show me how to do the contacts but the associate decided then to tell me that I’m not even allowed to leave without him showing me how. His reasoning behind not having the time was that he can’t leave another associate alone on the floor that long but he was there alone yesterday. We even offered to wait longer so I could get into something today. He basically told us he didn’t want to stay until after 5 just to show me that. He then proceeds to try and convince me to stay and get the exam and order glasses which take over a week. I wasted 45 mins of my time waiting because I was told I would at least get a trial pair of contacts today while I wait on my glasses to come in. This associate is lazy and does not want to help with anything. He does not care about the patients that come into the office. Because of this me, my boyfriend, and both our families (a minimum of at least 15 people) will never step foot in a visionworks again.

The stuffs in that branch are pretty rude. After took the exam, the doctor gave me a prescription, the handwriting is hard to read, so came back to ask. A woman is pretty mean, since she knew I wouldnt pick glasses from there.

My husband and I both had exams on Sat, 8/27/16. We were impressed by the entire staffs group efforts in greeting, intake, and keeping everything on schedule. We had appointments, but this location takes walk-ins as well, and support staff assisted the doctor in charge to take care of high volume of patients. The doctor, Eve Grelle, spent a lot of time with both my husband and me, and while thorough with our exams and history, was also very good at rotating patients in and out for consultations, exams, etc. Dr. Eve Grelle seems to be young enough to be my daughter, but treated us with care and respect, and I saw her interact well with young patients and their parents as well in an appropriate style in the waiting room. The waiting area is clean, inviting, and informative. We will definitely drive 45 minutes again to visit this office and this doctor, Eve Grelle.

Only issue was my contacts and glasses took a long time to arrive, which wouldn’t be an issue if they gave me enough trials to last me until that point. I was left with my old glasses that had an outdated prescription. When I called and asked for more contacts to use until mine came in I was told no. So I had to work, drive, and function for a full week without the appropriate prescription.

Whatever happened to just going to the eye doctor, getting a pair of glasses and leaving without the high pressure - used car salesmen approach?I went in for my first and last appointment on Sunday when they opened. The facility is clean, open and just as nice as youd expect. The glasses selection is good, lots of affordable, mid-range frames, nothing with too much sticker shock.The doctor was very pleasant and did a good job, I agreed with my rx that he recommended. Id go back to see him if it werent for the sales staff.Prior to stepping back with the doctor Id told my assigned sales woman that I was just looking for one pair of sunglasses and would continue looking at frames once I was done with the doctor. I was met almost immediately by her once I stepped out of the exam room and had to look at frames while she hovered over me giving me her feedback on each pair I touched. I had it narrowed down to two pairs and I said I just wanted to try them on in a mirror and make my decision and Id let her know. She didnt take that as a hint to back off. Instead, she went into an overly excited sales pitch about how cool and funky I OBVIOUSLY was and continued grabbing regular glasses that I JUST HAVE TO TRY ON!. Now, as for how cool and funky I was....it was a lazy Sunday, I was wearing no makeup, flip flops and a pony tail. I promise you that isnt a funky cool style. I told her again that I was just in for sunglasses, but she continued to go on and on about they 50% off the second pair and try to appeal to my shopping sense as a woman!. Gag me. Because I have a vagina I obviously cant go 12 seconds without charging something? So, I stated for a final time Im not looking to spend more than insurance will cover, we are moving out of the country in 3 weeks and I dont want to spend one more dime than I have to. She seemed to understand and back off, until it was time to ring the glasses up.After ten minutes of her pecking my order in one key at a time she comes at me with an almost $300 total. I understand my insurance well enough to know these glasses should cost me $17. I laughed, out loud, and told her no. Again with the Im not spending one more dime than I have to, this isnt going to happen so she goes on and on about how she understands and shes just always excited to get customers the perfect glasses. I told her that my current sunglasses were tj maxx $9 and I just thought it would be better to have my rx in a pair. She then asked me what my budget was and I again told her I didnt want to spend ANY money on them. She pecks away at her keyboard again and comes back with an almost $200 total. Honestly, had I not already spent so much time there Id have paid for my exam and never looked back.After that I made it abundantly clear to her that I didnt want a single upgrade for glasses I didnt plan to wear often. She argued with me that Id really prefer the high def lenses....that kills me. What does this woman know about me and what I prefer? I prefer to get a cheap pair of sunglasses and leave that damn store! She FINALLY whittles my price down to the $17 I expected to pay, the whole time apologizing for how long it is taking but Ive just never had to enter glasses like this. Everyone opts for the higher lenses, Ive never seen someone not get this before...this lower level...just everyone gets the better ones because they dont put a price on vision.The whole process was really rather annoying. I typically go to Ossip and thought Id try Visionworks because Ossip always seems to push the sale, but now I wish Id have just gone there instead. Ill never be back to Visionworks.
