They are amazing here. The customer service is amazing. Dr. Spalding is very thorough and does not rush you at all. She also lets you ask as many questions as you want. A wonderful experience.

I ordered contacts to my address in Florida. My daughter’s arrived but mine hadn’t after a month. I called to figure out where my order was and Nicole was so helpful; she took full accountability for the address mix up and promised to make it right. Was pleasantly surprised to have a knock on my door the very next day and there were my contacts! Overnighted…wow!! Great customer service!!

I came here because I needed an eye exam before I moved across country later that day and was treated terribly by the receptionist because I could not get my insurance or ahold of my parents seeing that they were putting our childhood dog to sleep at the exact time (unfortunate timing I know but life doesn’t work out how it’s planned). She was absolutely cold with me and extremely rude, I was standing in the store crying due to a death of a family member trying to figure this out and she showed no patience or anything. Dr. Spalding is great, just that receptionist needs to learn how to treat people like human beings

Ive seen Dr. Spaulding regularly for the last 6 years and she is the only eye doctor that tells you exactly what is going on with your eyes. She is direct and honest. One instance, my previous prescription was too strong and she suggested I take it down. Ive been seeing clearly ever since with no eye strain. Shes a wealth of information and truly cares about your eye health.

I had a terrible experience dealing with Dr.Julie Spalding.I was asking about a refund and she told me that it was issued.I told her that it wasnt issued 3 times and she didnt verify and told me Leave me alone, dont harass me, I will get a lawyer.In Dr. Spaldings understanding, asking for a refund 3 times( which was not issued) means harassing her.She was talking this way because “The Doctors in this store locations are Independent Doctors of Optometry that are not employed by Target Optical and sublease their space from the store.Dr. Julie Spalding is very unprofessional.I would love to talk to your lawyer Dr. Spalding!

They took us back when we walked in and provided us a quick and thorough eye exam with out having made a prior appointment. We felt really happy with our purchase of glasses and contacts. We will continue to use the Target Optical.

Jessica is an exceptional employee. Jessica went above and beyond to assist in finding the correct pair of glasses and then sunglasses on a separate visit. Jessica is very patient and ensured that I left a very satisfied customer.

DO NOT COME HERE!Went for an appointment today and they charged me for a contact exam instead of a glasses exam.I did not have a contact exam.When asked why I was getting charged $50 extra extremely rude and unprofessional.The General manager Becky Dunbar was extremely rude and she made fun of my accent.They charged me $50 extra when I didn’t even have a contact exam definitely will never go hear again!!!

This is now my THIRD TIME going back to Target to get my prescription fixed. I told them that I couldnt see through the lens during my exam because there are scratches and it is making my eyes go out of focus, but they say they cant fix it. So, I have had now had 2 bad prescriptions and longingly want to be able to see again! They told me the first time I came in that it was because my eyes are too close together to be able to wear ANY GLASSES they have, even the children. I have NEVER had an eye doctor tell me this before, but Ive always went to reputable places like Ossip or See. I am going to another location today in hopes that they arent as unhelpful as this location. I cant wait for my eyes to adjust if I cant even see to walk with the prescription.

The doctor is great and very nice, however, the office staff is not. I was a first time contact user and they scheduled my fitting appointment wrong so I showed up for the appointment and they made me come back another time. I then showed up to my 2nd contact fitting appointment and waited but the man who helped me was helpful so good job there. After they gave me my contacts, they never followed up after they said they would check in after a week. They did not give me any instruction on how to proceed after my trial pair of contacts. After trying to call a time or two, I have given up and trying elsewhere.

I have been seeing Dr. Spalding since 2016. Before today I had nothing but great things to say about the Dr. and staff at this location. Today I had an incredibly impolite and rude experience. The staff working at the front of the store were very helpful and I have no complaints regarding the front store. My reason for writing this review is the unprofessional and rude behavior exhibited by Dr. Spalding. When I was called back by Dr. Spalding, she immediately commented on how I shouldnt have waited two years to come back for an appointment saying, I dont understand how your contacts would have lasted you that long. First of all there was a lack of concern why I hadnt returned, and a lot of judgement. I am also a glasses wearer and did not realize that my prescription had declined due to personal life events until recently. I felt so judged with little compassion or consideration for other reasons, out of my control, for not visiting ei death in the family, COVID concerns. I will not be returning because of the lack of professionalism in this specific doctor at this location.

Great visit in the office. Lost my order twice with no accountability. I had to do all of the legwork to even find out that they were lost. As friendly and professional as they are at the office, I would pass on these guys if given the chance again.

This place has changed alot in 1 year very small and cramped diminished selection. DO NOT GO HERE FOR FIRST GLASSES THEY DONT EXPLAIN ANYTHING. If you are not a veteran eyeglass wearer Then this store is not for you

I have used this location the last 2 years and have been very pleased. Both times I worked with Steve and he is amazing!! He has a real knack for finding frames that look best on you. I am getting ready to schedule another appointment and will definitely request a day that Steve is working.

If you are looking for excellent customer service, then go to Target optical in Fishers for your next pair of glasses! I was very pleased with how professional both the doctor and staff were. I am extremely happy with my prescription update and both pair of new glasses. Even though I came in at a very busy time, the staff worked together to give a pleasant experience to all of the customers. Both pair of glasses were ready for me in the time stated, even during this busy holiday season. The doctor triple checked my exam on one prescription, just to make sure it was correct. I left there knowing that l would feel confident when I recieved my new glasses and I do!

Changing my review from 1 star to 4. Had an issue in which the Dr. would not accept my insurance after the exam. I had to pay out of pocket and spend time getting reimbursed. Dr. Spalding called me after to apologize and explained her side of the story. Im not happy with the situation, but I do appreciate her efforts to explain and remedy the situation.

The optometrist was professional, thorough, and friendly. The front office staff was not. While I was picking out glasses and working with them, they were professional. But when my glasses were delayed, broken in shipment, and re-ordered...it was a nightmare getting any communication from them.

This place gets worse every time I go. I’ve been going to this location for the last 3 years. First they didn’t order my trial contacts, so after about a week, I went to the store to see where they were. They finally ordered them at that time. Then I ordered contacts and I informed the lady that i would be moving so I wanted to order them in enough time to get them. She said that they would be there in time. Let’s just say that didn’t happen and when they finally came in they called the wrong number even after I gave them the correct number. I called them to find out that they were in and gave them the address to ship them and now I have to wait 5-7 extra days to get them.

I had a really good experience with Dr. Spaulding. It was my first time with a new optometrist and she was fast and to the point but still took the time. talked to me about what contacts I preferred and why. Then she had me try on a pair that I got to keep. I’m wearing them now and will be ordering this type. I even walked in an hour early bc I got off work early and they were able to fit me in. I was in and out in about 40 min and that’s after filling out my initial patient paperwork, seeing the dr and talking to the front desk about some glasses options. Thank you!

The doctor at this location I love but the technicians not so much. They were too busy gossiping to greet me when I arrived for my appointment. I just stood at the counter awkwardly until they were done talking. Then they stared at me, so I greeted them. Once I was finally able to get their attention they still were not very helpful and they were horrible when I was picking out glasses. The sad part is, there were two of them and I was the only patient.Overall disappointing, this was my second year going to this office. Last year was great and so I decided to go back even though I had moved across town, sadly I was beyond disappointed with the customer care at my second visit. When my glasses came into the store no one called me to let me know they were in. I eventually called after 2 weeks (it takes 7-10 days for glasses to return) and they had been sitting there for a week. Unless some things change I will not be returning.

Every time i come for an appointment they are always behind. I never get taken back before 30 minutes after my appointment.
