Not really caring about Patients rights and well being, and would rather protect her license than help a patient!sad really!!

PA Serna is the best in medical care. My whole family is thrilled with her care and her staff.

If you are looking for a prejudice doctor (Lawrence) who will refuse to listen to your needs, prejudge you, lie about the overall practices and basic procedures of the facility then Dr. Lawrence is perfect for you. I was referred, as follow-up, by Cape Fear Hospital, after being discharged from a week of severe illness. So I trusted I would receive care as attentive as I did while hospitalized. The visiting nursing assistant was amazing. However, Dr. Lawrence rudely and disrespectfully dismissed my husband after voicing his concerns about my health. Then proceeded to rudely dismiss me, as her patient, by abruptly walking out in the middle of our consultation without addressing concerns I voiced to Dr. Lawrence. I literally had to (excuse HER) limp and chase her down the hallway (while in pain) to express my final thoughts. The entire visit was a useless waste of time and money. As Dr. Lawrences potential new patient I felt unheard, judged, disrespected, dismissed, and uncared for whatsoever. Respectfully, I truly hope she is not the prejudice representation of what this facility has to offer.

Best physician I ever had was definitely Dr. Leonardo Figuerro. But to my acknowledgement he is no longer there. He was very thorough and insightful on all levels. He took you through everything with great information. But overall the facility is up to par. The front desk is pretty much on point.

Ive been with Westside Medical for over 15 years and everyone there is awesome, from old staff to new staff. I highly recommend them. Yes, the wait time can be long at times, but Im willing to wait because the medical care that I receive here is worth it.

If you don’t have the first appointment of the day be prepared to wait at LEAST 1 your past your appointment time to be seen. This has happened to me multiple times and now I’m currently waiting past 2 hours. There were 3 people in the waiting room and over the course of the first hour they called one. My best advice , find a different clinic ... any clinic I’m doing it the min I leave. I try and give places a good chance but enough is enough

Courteous staff. One of two blood tests, the nurse had problems with both my arms and had to wiggle the needle in my hand (Ive donated plasma and never had a problem before). PA Serna loves to refer out and has not yet addressed the check up I tried to get in early January.

Dr Lawrence and her nurse are great.I’m usually in and out when I have an appointment.

I love this doctors office never had no problem with anyone. All the ladies are very nice and the doctor trys to help in every possible way.

I feel like i was getting overmedicated and it was too much for me. Plus i told the doctor the medicine was working. But still wanting to change to something stronger.

Doctor Serna is a very caring and compassionate doctor she listens to her patients and seem to genuinely have their best interest at heart

A diabetic has to wait 3 or 4 days to get their medication because the PA cant handle a lot of patients. Guess everybody will have to go to the hospital before this doctor does ANYTHING.

Great experience, all my family see Yuridia Serna, she is so thorough and she shows compassion towards everyone.She remembers my kids, and asks how my other family members are doing.Some people are big believers in DOCTORs over PAs, I have never seen someone this professional and compassionate.And shes bilingual! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a health provider in Fayetteville.

My first blood test from a physical came in some what concerning. It took me calling into the office a week after my results were viewed by Dr. Figueroa to find there were problems. Did not get a call from Dr. figueroa , the Nurse, Front desk, no one. I had to call in for something so serious a week later. This is a disgusting protocol and professional misconduct on all parties. I have been coming to this office since it first opened and I going to have to find another office. I did get a letter with my blood results 2weeks later.

Dr. Serena is great. She seemed very compassionate and seemed to have my childs best interests at heart, and she all did with my apt. with her. My complaints; my printed prescriptions were not signed so when I decided where I wanted to go get my prescriptions filled they were unable to do so. I called to have them electronically sent over so pharmacy so I would not have to drive over there to get a bunch of signatures. The office answered and I was transferred over to the nurse who handled the prescriptions for the doctor we had. Rang a few times and went to voicemail, which happened every time I was transferred to nurse. I left a voicemail about what I needed, never heard back from them and had to drive over there after going to get my prescriptions and them telling me that none had been sent (which was about a week after leaving voicemail). During visit a referral was made for my child. Didnt hear back from them after a long time so I called and they said referral had been sent but to call their referral department. The referral department said it had not gone through and to call back. I called he place that they had said the referral was sent to and they said it had gone through but that they needed something extra from the prescribing doctor and they had been calling for days to get into contact with the doctors office with no call back. They did as needed after all that. When I ended up calling Tricare about why the referral was still not going through, they said there was a mix up with the PCM and that the doctor we had was not out PCM. We asked to have the doctor placed as PCM so the referral could be valid but Tricare said she was not listed as one of there doctors. When I called to tell ask them about the issue the person on the phone laughed it off and said well she is listed with us. I switched my sons care to Rainbow Pediatrics in Fayetteville and am VERY happy with the care. Have not found a Doc. for myself yet.

Yurida Serna is very thorough, she leaves no stone unturned. She also likes to get her own tests done, which is a Plus to me. Serna also takes the time to listen to you, not have you wait for 30 minutes and you only get 5 minutes with her. I would recommend Yurida Serna at Westside Medical Center anyday!

This place is a joke let me tell you cant get it right I was post take 2 dietetic pills day got 1 day what a joke it take 2 or 3 hours waiting time..I stoped going there....yall be lie bout this place its a joke..

Cant say enough good things about this doctors office. Everyone was very professional, from the front office staff, nurses and doctor. I can honestly say I have never felt as like Ive gotten my moneys worth from a doctor until visiting Westside Medical Care.
