The office had some of the best customer service. From the front desk greating you and offering assistance. To the secretary and technician. The provider was thorough. I had to be referred out and they set it up fast. I appreciate all of the assistance

Have been going to this clinic for years. Never any problems. I just called for an appointment and was asked if I have health insurance. No. I still use the same vision insurance. But you dont have health insurance. No. Why are you asking this. Oh, we dont take vision insurance anymore. Only health insurance. WHAT kind of office is this now? I did not make an appointment and I am very disappointed.

The doctor and technician were great. I however was asked to pay $176 dollars for my visit and was told they were going to bill my insurance for $189 even though they knew my insurance would only pay $100. This means the office will receive $276 dollars for my contact exam. The male receptionist informed me that the patient off the street without insurance would be asked to pay $169 versus my $276 because that is how my insurance is handled. When asked to explain to me the difference his reply was that I received a comprehensive exam where as the non-insured would receive an intermediate exam. I did not receive any special services at my appointment and can not imagine what the extra $100 plus could have been for. He also advised me that he was better at social studies or history, math was not his strong point. I just feel as if they over charged me for the sake of over billing my insurance company and me the customer. I was a repeat customer and surely did not deserve being charged extra. I do not believe their should be one charge for individuals who are insured and another for those that are not. I would recommend the doctor again and again but, I would advise that you talk financial payment with them prior to being seen and make sure you are not being over charged. I would also recommend that if they give you the same answers they gave me that you not share your insurance information with them because you will suffer financially for being covered.

My experience was a great experience. The doctor, the tech and associates were all very friendly and knowledgeable. The doctor helped me with all of my recent eye problems and recommended me for some contacts that were way better than what I had. She really cared about the health of my eyes.P.S. Ive been going there for 20 years! Means that they are doing something right!!

I found Risk Optometric to be the best facility I have visited thus far. The staff was so kind and pleasant and made the whole experience to be a grand one. Waiting time before being called back was minimal and the entire process from start to finish was flawless and most enjoyable.I would highly recommend Risk Optometric for all your eye care needs from the most basic to the most complex.

I love this place. I take both of my children there. I have been wearing glasses for over 30 years. They take precious care of my children and I. My little one just loves going to the eye doctor. This is an awesome place for price and if you have more than family member/ dependent with vision issues and may need glasses.

Risk Optometric took me as a work in new patient due to an eye emergency. The staff welcomed me, made me feel important and like I was the only patient. I just had my very first appointment at Risk and was very pleased with the timeliness of the appointment. I also found the doctor to be very nice and made me fell extremely comfortable with everything! I would definitely recommend.

I went there back in February. They put me in a bright room with FULLY DILATED eyes! It took forever without any explanations for the being behind. I will NEVER GO BACK and I WILL NEVER recommend them to anyone!

I was required to wait over a week for the second appointment - around their convenience - because that was the next day the optometrist was working.The contacts I was given werent labeled for right or left eye so another visit was needed just for that.I wasnt told to wear contacts for the second appointment and that was somehow rationalized to be my mistake instead of theirs.

I have been going to Risk Optometric for MANY years - I think when Dr. Risk first started. I love the service I get, and the doctors are some of the best eye doctors I have ever seen (been going to eye doctors since 1945). Always fast service.

Went to Dr Risk for years. Best eye Dr I have had. Unfortunately, I have moved, but I highly recommend him or any of his associates.Dr Risk, please move to Memphis!Going to Southern College of Optometry now. You arent here, so this is the next best thing!Thank you Dr. Risk!

Great staff! They were all so helpful especially trying to figure out my insurance since I was new to it.

This was my third visit to Dr. Risks office. I have now been treated by Dr. Risk and Dr. Chavis and both are very professional and extremely competent. Their diagnosis and exams are top notch but having your pupils dialated is a bummer. I will visit Dr. Risk again next year. 100 % satisfied.

Loved it. Quick and friendly service. And my glasses arrived earlier than expected.
