This doctor did my appendectomy surgery. I had no problems with him as a surgeon, however following my surgery I was having sharp pains in my right side. I called his clinic at least 3 times to ask if this was normal healing or if I needed to see the doctor. Repeatedly I was told this was normal healing . After suffering for another month , I decided to go to my PCP. Come to find out I have post anesthesia pleurisy! Not “normal” healing at all. I had no problem with this doctor performing my surgery, however I do feel like his office staff blew me off multiple times when I would call to tell them of the pain I was having.

Dr Mullis was my surgeon for years. I have never met a more knowledgeable doctor or compassionate person.
