The doctors, nurses, and techs have tried several times to get my moms sciatic pain under control. They have all been amazing. She had 4 steroid shots in her back over a 4 month period, and none of them got rid of her pain. We were about to give up when we attended a follow-up appointment with the NP and were surprised to learn that she can get relief with a medication she can take several times a day, long-term. That has been the most helpful treatment so far.Feedback on the office staff: They are not friendly and dont acknowledge people when they arrive or depart. It feels like they really dislike the human part of their job. Also, every time we have an upcoming appointment, we go through the online check-in procedure (which is very lengthy), and every time, the medication list is outdated so we update it. When we get to their office, we have to fill out the same paperwork we completed on line, including updating the outdated medication list. Why is no one updating that information on my moms chart after 5 visits to the facility? The admin procedures and software are quite lacking. I suppose it would be easier if we just dont check in online. Next time, we wont.

Dr Nathaniel Pleasant is a kind spirited and caring doctor. He get the work done.I rate him as a 10 .

My last office visit was the worst visit I’ve ever had from anywhere! I was attempting to settle an issue that I’ve been handling with billing. First, I felt that the amount charged was incorrect and still today I was not shown a history of my billing to verify if the charges align and or are correct. Paying the bill is not an issue it is the way I was treated. The Office personnel was loud, rude, and very unprofessional and handled the issue with me in the reception area extremely loud to the point that she was shouting with and at me. I then asked for the office manager and she and the Office Administrator came out attempting to intimidate me. Over the last 6-9 months customer service has gone from great to terrible.But employees in the back performing and assisting with procedures have maintained.

My issue is a combination of muscle tightness /cramp and pain. Upon receiving the injection, my pain appeared to be gone, but the tightness was still there. I was advised to give it a few days for the swelling to go down and reassess the injection progress. All office personnel were cordial and helpful.

I always have a great experience with these folks. I highly recommend this office .

David, Julie, she is no longer there but very nice, Dr. Ghandi and Michelle are awesome!!!! Had nothing but good experiences with these guys. I absolutely love ShaTanya Cook. She is very compassionate, kind, and caring. She takes time with you and doesnt rush. She really cares. I recommend her and Dr. Pleasant. Dr Pleasant has done several procedures on me and Ive never had a problem. He is very gentle and caring. He lets you know exactly what he is doing when he is doing it.

Quick, courteous, no nonsense, and very informative. Underwent a series of virtually painless Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA) procedures on my lower back, performed very skillfully by Dr. Nathaniel Pleasant. Much of the pain was successfully eliminated; were currently working to resolve the remainder. Extremely pleased with the quality of service.

Ive had to go all weekend this past week without my pain meds. Walgreens reached out to yall Friday & as yet Im still without my meds. Taking Goody powders both day until now my stomach is hurting. My first time for procedure with Doctor Pleasant and he was very thorough in explaining the process. I felt completely confident. His staff was very supportive in making me feel relaxed. They asked me if I was all right during the procedure and that meant a lot. What a great staff and a wonderful doctor to have to care for you.

I was referred to Dr Plesant at PCA a year and a half ago for pain management. Nearly twenty years ago I was diagnosed with severe rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. I had 3 consultations with Dr.Gandhi and I was overcharged on every single visit. CIGNA covered most of the costs and I requested a refund of the approximate $200 . I have been promised a refund on the 19th of December and 5 months have gone by and I keep on getting excuses that the request is being processed. I have been very patient and am starting to believe that this is a tactic that Pan Consultants of Atlanta use so people forget about it. Just as matter of principle and honesty, full stop. I recommend anyone to look at other clinics with better standards.

The doctor listens to the patient and their individual needs. In my opinion, the doctor cares more about the patients and their well being as apposed to the other so-called pain specialists I have seen that put patients in a category and treat them like test subjects. Pain Consultants is A caring place.

The doctors, nurses, and staff at PCA are extremely knowledgeable in their area of expertise, very professional, kind, patient, and truly take the time to listen to any issues, questions, and/or concerns I have. They really do care about me as a person & as a patient. Every time I have an appointment, whether it’s just a follow-up or a procedure, they make me feel like a human being and not just a number.Before I came to PCA, I had back procedures done at 2 different places by 2 different doctors.At these other places, both separate procedures hurt and 1 out of the 2 hurt to the point of tears.To say that I was pleasantly surprised when I had my 1st back injection with Dr. Duralde, is a MAJOR understatement!I knew right away that he knew/knows what he’s doing. I barely felt a thing! That was years ago and I am still there.In my personal opinion (coming from someone who’s been stuck with needles big or small, a LOT over the years, since I have Multiple Sclerosis AND lots of back issues), on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, I give Pain Consultants of Atlanta a solid 10 (years ago AND now). Hands down. 10.Customer service/billing-10.Doctors at PCA (especially Dr. Duralde)-10.Nurses (especially Becky, R.N. for always going above & beyond for your patients & for putting up with me all these years😉😘-10.Staff/Scheduling-10Cleanliness-10Also, since the Coronavirus started to wreak havoc in the United States, PCA has been extremely cautious, careful, and follows all CDC, local, & state guidelines. Basically, I’ve only had 1 “in person” visit since February or March and that is because I had a back procedure. I felt very safe at PCA, from the time I had my temperature taken before I could go in, until I left. All Doctors, nurses & employees were practicing social distancing, and ALL were wearing masks.For my regular checkup appointments, I’ve had Virtual Appointments instead of physically having to go the office. I was a little worried at first that I would be “technically challenged”, but thankfully, it was a lot easier than I thought it would be (basically like face timing from the comfort of your own home, but instead of with a family member or friend, it’s with your doctor/Nurse Practitioner).And don’t worry if you have 1 or more small children (or pets) running around/trying to talk to you in the background. Whoever you are “virtual visiting” with from PCA is very understanding.😉

Interesting that I posted this rating over a year ago and it was deleted. I had a HORRIBLE experience with these doctors. They treated me as a number, not a person. They didnt really care about me as a person and treated me as if I was there only for pain medicine. After leaving them I found GA Pain and Spine, who looked deeper into my pain issues and found out that I have a rare, life threatening disease that required immediate major surgery within 2 months of my diagnosis or I could have died, or at the very least become blind. If you want a doctor who cares about you as an individual and you dont want to be treated as a number, do not go here.
