The staff was very friendly and professional. They made me feel like family instead of a patient. I had my first colonoscopy and had NEVER had anesthesia before. They made sure to make me feel comfortable by sharing every step of the exam with me. I love and appreciate all of the staff!

I was scheduled for a Upper Endoscopy, from start to finish the staff were all professional, very nice and intelligent. It was a pleasant experience overall because of the kindness and care in every staff member that I encountered, the procedure was painless and I was confident that I was in good hands. However, the Dr. was not friendly, he could benefit from listening a little better, and his bed side manner could use some work - maybe he was having a bad day or I could have just been a bit sensitive. Judging by the level of excellence presented by the other staff members in comparison. But he did a great job trying to find the problem he has issued further testing to evaluate the situation. And I am very confident in the Drs level of Intelligence he does have years of experience and education- which was prevalent in his bedside conversation. The entire staff was kind and made sure I was comfortable the entire time I was there. It was quick and painless I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I would give 10 stars to the staff if possible......

Excellent experience at the clinic, only a little waiting, but the personnel was polite and informative. Everything went smoothly and I am very pleased.. Extremely disappointed with Sonya, Dr. Scilaras nurse. First, she never answers the phone, second, she never returned any of the 3 messages I left for her within a month!; and third, after I was able to finally talk to her thanks to the billing department who talked to her directly, she lied to me and said she never got the messages, plus she said she will call me back with a response and never did. Very irresponsible employee, I really dont know why she is getting paid to do nothing for the patients. However, Dr. Scilara came through and returned my call quickly to help me with my concern, again, thanks to the billing department. Thats why Sonya doesnt take away any stars from this review.

My experience, from start to finish, was 100% positive, including my initial consultation. Every person I met was a positive role model for what the words customer service mean. It is a refreshing change from other medicine related clinics.If I could say 1 thing that has ZERO to do with the staff, or Their service, I would say that, whatever company supplies them with that absolutely HORRID powered drink which needs to be consumed prior to the procedure, I would say to that company: Get in the game and add some flavor to that GRUEL you sell to your customers .

My experience from start to finish was a very pleasant one. When I arrived for my appointment, the MA (Brandie) was friendly. Once I was called back for my procedure, the Nurse (Timothy), explained what I could expect, and about how long it would take. I am a very hard stick(finding my veins for IV), I told him, and he listened. He only had to stick me one time! THANK YOU TIMOTHY! When I woke in recovery, Pamela was there to explain/cover my do’s & don’ts for the next 24-48 hours. My entire experience from the medical assistance (Brandie), (Timothy), Anesthesiologist (Nancy), Dr. Slehria , (Dianna) in the procedure room, recovery nurse (Pamela) we’re all professional. Thank you all!

A few weeks ago I had a 5 year colonoscopy. Every 5 years due to a family history of rectal cancer. I had called my insurance company prior to the procedure to ensure the colonoscopy was covered under 100% preventative care. I was told it was.Last week I got bills from Cape Fear Center for Digestive Disorders for well over $2000. I called my insurance company and was told the Dr.s office coded the procedure as Diarrhea . I called Cape Fear Center for Digestive Disorders and was informed that Dr. Slehria had stated that because I had had a colonoscopy my first colonoscopy 5 years ago and had polyps removed, any subsequent colonoscopies would not be considered preventative. WHAT THE HECK!!! The whole purpose of removing polyps is to prevent them from becoming cancerous.I will never return to this office!! It is very clear to me that $$$ is more important to Dr. Slehria and Cape Fear Center for Digestive Disorders than patient health. No wondercancer is on the rise!! Shame on you!

Everyone was polite, and i was little scared but the staff talked to me and put me at ease, even when my daughter left to go run an errand the staff was understanding, I appreciate the staff for making my first experience a great, i didnt even no i was asleep everything went so fast, the staff is excellent, we thank everyone again, be bless be safe we appreciate all of yall dedication

They are great, always welcoming and ive always had quick appt times, very little waiting.

I would say all was done in an expeditious, courteous and professional manner, although I was sedated and slept through much of the procedure. I appreciate getting a complete report of the findings, along with pictures of the procedure.

I’m pretty disappointed with this place. The ladies at the front were nice, and so was Hannah who I ended up seeing because a doctor wasn’t available. The problem is I was told to call back to schedule endoscopy because I had to work around my schedule, I have left several voicemails to the nurse and haven’t received any phone call back or a response of any kind. It’s pretty disappointing this was the place I was referred to and thinking they actually would help. I wouldn’t recommend.

As always my procedure with dr. Salaria and staff was very professional & positive. I would recommend them for any upcoming surgeries or procedures.

Well, I tried to see a doctor today. I drove an hour in torrential rain and flooding just to be turned away due to me being fifteen minutes late. The nurse behind the desk was very pleasant and tried her best to get me seen but to no avail as her supervisor- who would not come from behind the wall to be seen and face me - was more concerned with why I couldn’t call while driving in the aforementioned conditions and why I hadn’t completed my paperwork.In my over 50 years on this planet I have NEVER been turned away from any doctor of any kind until today. I’m thoroughly disgusted, upset and disappointed in a physician’s office that I really needed today due to my health issues.I hope that whoever that supervisor was never gets treated the way she treated me when I really needed her care, compassion and a little understanding.I will not be going back. I’ve already asked my doctor to refer me somewhere else.

Dr. Nikala and staff are the best concerned about my health issues. I recommend this Dr to everyone, He handles my liver, and my colonoscopies.

My husband was quoted $0 for the colonoscopy because it was under the preventative plan. We received a bill for $907.88 and all we were told was Im sorry. I contacted the insurance company and they said to have the doctor resubmit a corrected claim. CFCDD refused and offered no discount on the bill. We will find another doctor.

Dr. Chung and his staff treated me with the utmost respect and showed me more compassion than I have gotten from a medical office in along time. The entire process involved in these type of procedures alone is miserable so to have a caring staff to ease the ordeal made all the difference in the world. Thank you!!!!

Dr Uslick is fantastic along with his staff. They are so kind, helpful and courteous. I have been seeing him for the last 10 years and I would recommend him and his practice. I have had several EGDs and colonoscopys done at his practice and they have been wonderful from beginning to end LOL.

I thought this was a freest place to visit until the pandemic came and I had to cancel appointment I owed a balance that I was paying on once I cancelled they sent balance to collection agency immediately now They refuse to treat me apparently they care more about ruining your credit then caring for sick patients it’s not like I wasn’t paying so beware sick or not $100 I or less is more important than your health to these people do not know why it’s coming Amare my name is Pamela Powell

We have a family member that has had several A+ experiences with this clinic. It all started through an emergency visit to CFVMC, and in-patient diagnostics. The provider we had was very knowledgeable. My family member has trouble understanding the accent, but thats one of the reasons I go with her. The check-in process has always been smooth, and they do have the online portal where you can get test results and communicate with your clinic. Both of their facilities are clean, and we have been treated with dignity and respect. The phlebotomist was very attentive to the bloodwork orders. You can tell the practice is well-managed.

These doctors are great examples of the modern physician that will provide information, and answer questions to help me make the right decision. Although only seen by Dr. Wes Jones, I have been able to consult with staff and other doctors there and they are impressive in their experience and willingness to share it. It is also a well run clinic beginning with Kim and Kelly at the front desk. Highly recommended.

I requested to speak to the doctor several times after my procedure was performed and was told he was very busy and likely I would need to schedule another appointment to receive answers to the questions I had concerning the condition I was originally sent there for. I was then told to ask my regular doctor my questions.I received attention to this issue only after I posted my original google review. 4 administrative staff had a meeting about my Google review and (they all) called (at once, while on speaker) to ask me several questions about it. I guess that costs less than the doctor just answering my questions. I felt interrogated and that my issues were not nearly as important as the google review was. My issues were clearly communicated several times and those people called to confront me with ZERO answers but several questions about my review.The entire situation was handled inappropriately and I have no desire to deal with this facility for any reason further.4 months later I still do no know what is causing my episodes ....If I could suggest anything to the doctors here I would say LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS some people will only make a polite request a couple times before they have had enough.

Everyone here from the front desk staff at the main office to the procedure at the Endoscopy center were very helpful, knowledgeable and competent. Dr. Slehria is a very attentive and focused physician who provided me some very good information. I highly recommend this group of medical professionals.

Having been a recipient of their services, I cannot say it was fun! However, it is needed. I had some issues and the staff worked with me to address them. LOL - you dont need to know the details. I do appreciate their willingness to hear me out and address my questions. I do trust my doctor and the staff are very helpful. Everyone should have screenings even if they are NO FUN. But at least with knowledgeable and helpful staff one can be assured of quality care!

I have tried getting in touch with the nurses since Monday and it is now Thursday and have not got a call back. I left a voice mail and in there recording it does say you will receive a call back in 24 hrs it is now Thursday and I called everyday since Monday.

It took them a month to call me back to schedule an appointment, even after my PCP sent a referral. When they did call me back they told me the previous week they had tried to call three different times, which they did not. Awful front desk/records/phone employees.

Thanks for sharing the great preventative information on colorectal cancer and digestive diseases. The staff and doctors here are very knowledgeable and available to answer questions. CFCDD is a valuable member of the local BBN chapter that meets with us at Spinners every week.

If I can give negative, I will. They treat their patient with no respect at all. Please stay out if you can!
