They took so many X-rays that any work they suggested afterwards was going to be out of pocket. Almost 1000$ in X-rays. Then tried to put me in fear of bone loss and periodontal disease so that I’d set up payment plans costing thousands. Looked at other reviews and saw this same situation. When I told them I couldn’t afford them I was immediately asked to leave very rudely. Went to another dentist the same day and got the exact work I needed for less than 1/4 of their price. Do not recommend for anyone that may live check to check like me

Haven’t had any work yet but so far they were wonderful. Moved and needed a new dentist, had an issue and they got me in within 24 hours. Really on top of COVID prevention, they make all patients wash their hands! They were on time, the dentist Dr Walls was great-down to earth, easy to understand, good listener. Office manager tracie was wonderful, she reviewed the estimate with me, was honest about possible changes, gave me a good idea of what to expect.

I had a terrible experience with the staff at Monarch Dental in Fayetteville and I do not want to go back there. Tracy and Debbie were very rude to me and my mother, rolling their eyes at us and degrading us about our form of payment. The dentists and dental assistants were very nice and professional, it saddens me that I will not be going back.

I have had some really bad experiences with dentists in the past. So I am one of those people that wait way too long to get something related to my teeth checked out. I had a lot of pain in a tooth and made an appointment at Monarch. I felt at ease from the time I walked in to the time I left. Dr. Kilcrease and the staff were SO kind. They took the time to explain everything I would need done, and answered all of my questions. I never felt rushed, I felt listened to. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a dentist. I will be going back to them for all of my cleanings and dental needs.

Reason for 2 stars is it was very quick. Got x-rays done dentist walked in the room said nothing I can do youll have to get all teeth removed from upper to find the ones hurting the most and walked out. Then they brought me an estimate for $12180 if I wanted things fixed charging$290 a tooth and claiming affordable healthcare. Not for middle or lower class.

Dr. Walls and Megan were both very kind. Dr. Walls went out of her way, while working on my crown, to do all sorts of little extras to improve my smile at no extra charge. Their staff also helped me find discounts and arranged in-house financing.

This guy has cost me so much more money. Every cavity fill has needed to be fixed. One tooth had to be removed. He left a hook between my teeth which I told him about but he wouldn’t fix so now food gets stuck every time I eat. Go somewhere else!

I am terrified of dentists and had to have a lot of work done, and this location was the one place I found that helped me. Not only did they make me feel comfortable, but Tracie went above and beyond her call of duty to make sure I was completely taken care of. Their adherence to covid safety is better than my GPs as well. Ive already thanked them numerous times but it deserves a shoutout here as well

This place is run like a mad house. They told my wife she had to fill out her paper work in the car and wouldnt let her sit down while she was waiting because they are scared of Covid. Dont give this place one red cent! No business should treat there customers this poorly.

I needed a top set of dentures. They worked with me on financing so that the procedure fit my budget. They made the procedure comfortable and nearly painless, and I had my new “teeth” put in the same day. Clean offices and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

First time patient, was told to show 30 minutes early to my scheduled appointment with the completed paper work, which I complied with to ensure I dont waste the dentist time or mines. Upon arrival was told I had to wait 3 hours as the dentist scheduled to see me had a walking patient with an emergency. Although I understand the emergency, I dont understand why I have to wait three hours to be seen, arent there other dentist in the office? on top of that why didnt I get a courtesy call advising of the situation, I could have turn around and gone home instead of making the trip to the office I would have completely understand.

This was my fifth or sixth appointment. I’ve had two crowns installed successfully. The last x -rays I had done were the easiest I’ve had done.

The dentist and assistants are nice and do fine. However, I waited for 30 minutes for my appointment. When we got there no one was at the front desk and it was storming so a few people were waiting in the lobby. The office manager came out and yelled at us for being in there so we had to wait outside in the storm. I waited out there for 30 minutes to finally be called in. After I got inside I waited an additional 30 minutes before they even began my procedure. At one point I was left alone in the chair for like 10 minutes with a mold in my mouth. They did things and used jargon without ever explaining it to me, which I personally dont like. When going to pay the manager was once again pretty short with me and didnt seem to be in the best mood. Additionally at my first visit they said theyd take my insurance but needed the policy number to get a quote. Yet, when my mom called with it they said the wont take our insurance and at this point I already had the appointment booked for the next day. I chose this place because they said theyd take the insurance. Overall, the work is fine and the dentist herself is kind but not worth the wait or dealing with the front desk.

Don’t waste you time with this dentist office...they are HORRIBLE! The first time we went to them their systems were down and didn’t know when they’d come back up so we’d have to reschedule and there weren’t appointments open for days. The front office staff weren’t pleasant and seemed like they had better things to do. The second time around we were checking in at the front desk and ladies were again extremely rude and even the office manager seemed like she didn’t want to be there. After we checked in it took 45 minutes to just get ONE of our names called for an x-ray, but since only one of us were being called it was going to be to close to pick up our daughter from school so we had to decide who was going to be seen. After my husband got his x-rays done it took another 30 minutes just to see the dentist and then wanted to him to due a ton of procedures that weren’t necessary. The dentist is nice and took the time when my husband finally got back to the chair, so I will say they are the ONLY good thing about this place. Bitting my tongue for the third time, only because they take our insurance and we’re able to get me in so quick, I went back and was treated and talked to like a toddler! This time it wasn’t for a routine check up I actually had a tooth emergency and was in excruciating pain, yet they still wanted to belittle me and acted like they didn’t even care what was going on and when I asked if there was any way they could get me in because of the situation she just kept flipping through her papers saying sorry all appointments are taken up with a sarcastic tone. What is the point of saying emergency same day appointments or being able to get someone in if they do have an emergency if you can’t hold up to that? No one likes to go to the dentist but the staff could at least treat their patients with some kind of manners or at least pretend they like their job. I now am having to try and find another dentist office to deal with my emergency and pain in a short notice. If I could give them a lower star rating I would with how I was treated, especially after expressing being in excruciating pain, but also for acting like they don’t care about their patients or wanting to help them. Don’t waste your time with this place, it’s not worth the wait or dealing with the awful staff who obviously don’t care!

I honestly assumed going into to this dentist, that they did work with children. (As they had mentioned that they DO work with kids.) I called to make an appointment, on Monday 3/8/2021, around 12:30 for today. I repeated it a few times back and she agreed I had the time right. Today, upon showing up they said we did not have an appointment set. But they would try to fit us in. And we saw Dr. Kilcrease who did a filling and told me that he just doesn’t work well with my 9 year old. Because “he won’t open his mouth up well enough and swallows too much.” Lol.I understand not working well with a patient (however, I hardly understand that reasoning being bad enough to stop seeing a patient.) Then as we were leaving, he told us nothing else and to go somewhere else.We had to ask the rules about what you should do after the filling: As in, how long do we wait until he can eat/drink, etc. Instead, we asked the receptionist because the doctor didn’t relay any information to us.I would give him 0 stars if I could, just because he was so rude and it was a overall terrible experience.

Dr Walls was extremely helpful to me when I went to Monarch Dental for the first time because my regular dentist was on vacation. I was a little worried that the people at Monarch would try to get me to agree to lots of expensive and unnecessary work, but they did the opposite. After Dr Walls examined my X-ray and teeth she explained the details of what I need to have done. I would definitely go back if I didn’t have another dentist that I like.

Made a first time appointment for 11am. Printed out all the paperwork prior to my appointment. Got there at 1045 went inside and handed in my paperwork. They did a covid screen, took my number, and was told to wait in my car. At 1140, 40mins after my appointment, i left. Finally called me to come in at 1145, ha no....Trying to find a long term dentist for my whole family. Im a healthcare provider and have little to no time for family let alone myself. My time is very valuable as are first impressions. This place failed miserably. However i will say what little interaction i had with staff was very pleasant. They were kind and courteous.

Was late for my appointment and said they would work me in. And hour later I had to ask what was going on and they couldn’t work me in until over 2 hours after my original time. All information that could have been relayed to me when we first had the conversation about working me in. Receptionist additionally tried to say she tried to get my attention multiple times when I was sitting next to the desk looking at her the entire time. After years of going to monarch I will not be returning.

I went in because I had a broken molar with some pain, but couldnt afford much. They had a special promotion online for an exam, so I printed off the coupon and brought it to the appointment. The x-rays took an eternity and was very uncomfortable. The exam itself was ok, but the Dr. told me that there of my teeth should be extracted, and referred me to a surgeon. They also told me that Id need a root canal and a few fillings, but wanted me to take care of the extractions first. They told me to call the surgery center for estimated cost, and when I did after the visit, I found that it was going to be somewhere around $3k. My mom suggested that I get a second opinion because she had a similar experience with Monarch, and recommended Farmington Dental, so I made an appointment there. Such a huge difference! Not only did they tell me that they could do the extraction right there for a fraction of the price, but it turned out that they absolutely did not recommend pulling the other two teeth!! A few days after my visit with Monarch, the receptionist called and said that she didnt enter the coupon and that they needed to charge me full price for the exam unless I drove by again to drop off the physical coupon. Ridiculous! I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. I was able to get the tooth taken care of with Farmington Dental for under $500 (it was a complicated tooth, but definitely better than $3,000!). Ive since moved and go to another dentist due to my new insurance, where they informed me that not only are the other teeth completely salvageable, but theres no need for any of my teeth to have a root canal. Wow. Be careful and get a second opinion if they quote you on a lot of work.

My fiancé had an appointment this morning for an exam and X-rays. We purchased the One Smile discount plan which meant the visit should have been at no cost. At the end of the visit he was asked for $10 for some new charge for masks. I asked when this policy came into effect and was told it started when Covid did. We have our own masks and it is RIDICULOUS to charge the customers for the employees having to wear masks. Isnt the Dentist expensive enough? Is it even legal to charge customers for the additional gear employees have to wear because of Covid? This is NOT a one time fee, it is charged to EVERY customer, EVERY time they come. I argued that we were not told about this when making the appointment or when called to confirm the appointment and refused to pay. I could go on with further complaints regarding cleanliness but I would rather spend my time finding a new Dentist.

I would give no stars if I could. Super qualified dentists and hygienists but the front desk and office workers are people of my nightmares. you could not pay me to go back here. I was routinely talked to like I was an absolute idiot, lied to, and left to figure multiple things out on my own. (financing and treatment plans etc). I was told multiple times certain things would take one appointment and only at the end was it made clear it would take three. no explanation. just how it is. Seriously- GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

I have been terrified of the dentist for a LONG time. This office was more than helpful when it came to all of my needs, all of the staff I feel goes above an beyond to be accommodating. Extremely friendly and when it came down to the time of my procedures made me feel more comfortable than I could’ve imagined. I can easily say, I’m going to actually miss having to come into the clinic. Highly recommend.

This is one of the most professional dental offices I’ve ever been too. Tracie made me feel like I was part of the family. If I had any questions she helped me understand. She made sure I didn’t leave confused about anything. The office is very clean and everyone was extremely nice.

Went in today to fill out paperwork before work. Checked the website to see when they would be closing today and if they were open. On the website it said open until 12pm, so drove over there to find out that they were closed. On the door it said open only by appointment on Saturday. Wish I would have known this sooner before making the trip out there. They need to make that clear online.

Dr. Walls at Monarch Dental in Fayetteville is awesome! She was able to successfully drill through an implant crown to remove and replace a defective implant screw that had become loose. This procedure saved me a considerable amount of money by saving the existing crown. I appreciate all her efforts to help me with this! Dr. Walls is my go-to for all my dental needs!

Really bad experience. Rude staff. Rough x-ray technician; she had the skin under my tongue raw from the xray mouth-piece. Apparently it was really difficult for her to find the right angle to stick it in my mouth...Then, I was asked if I even flossed at what was supposed to be a refreshing cleaning appointment. When you do not normally have dental insurance, going to get a cleaning is such a beautiful luxury. I had not been to the dentist in a little over a year.. Monarch Dental was unpleasant & made me feel uncomfortable.Also, I paid the charges the insurance did not cover while I was in the office that day. Tell me why 6 months later they are calling me for more money saying they had already called me 1 time, that the charge will go to collections if I did not pay today? I paid. I will not be going back.

I’ve suffered on and off with an abscessed molar for three years, progressively getting worse and no dental insurance. It took the fear of infection spreading and the constant pain to make me break down and make the appointment, and I’m so glad I did! Monarch made it affordable, and Dr. Walls was sensitive to my fear and pain level and had the tooth out before I knew it. I feel so much better and it’s only been a day!

Dr. Christina Walls is wonderful as are all the staff. Ihad two teeth removed today and it was the least painful experience with tooth extraction I have ever had. The prices are really reasonable as well. I will happily recommend them to anyone.

My experience with Dr walls was terrific. The tooth she replaced was done a lot better than I expected! She ended up replacing more than just that one tooth! She was also very professional and did more than I expected! Also the dental assistant Jessica was so nice and personable, she took all my fears away with her confident personality! I went for a dental checkup and cleaning this morning. Alyssa did my cleaning. She was gentle, professional and has an excellent sense of humor. I enjoy the cleaning, conversation and the laughs, which is needed at the end of my shift and the start of theirs. Ive been going to Monarch Dental for 3 years and have been extremely satisfied with all the extensive work and maintenance/preventative care I have received!

I chose to go to Monarch Dental because I had recently acquired dental insurance. So I go in, have my x-rays done and they tell me I have a few cavities that need to be filled. The first filling I had was done by Dr. Walls, it was the most painful filling I have ever had. For 48 hours I was tormented, nothing seemed to help the pain but eventually it passed.The second filling I had done was done by a different dentist, Dr. Kilcrease. He filled a small cavity on one of my top left molars. The procedure went well, but the filling feels strange like it has fallen out all the time. I keep checking it but it makes me nervous.The third time I went it was for a possible extraction. I was told by Dr. Walls on my first visit that the very back bottom right molar would have to either be crowned or extracted. I’m a new parent so money is pretty tight so even with financing there was no way I could afford a crown. The dentist I had for extraction took a look and told me that he didn’t want to pull it and to have Dr. Walls look at it again. She still wanted to crown it but since I can’t afford it they decided to put a large filling in the tooth.A couple weeks later I noticed that I was having substantial pain while eating and drinking. I decided to investigate and took a look in my mouth with a flashlight. I could see right away a large spot of discoloration between the two back molars that had been filled. The dentist had neglected to mention these obvious cavities.So I went back in and asked to have my records transferred to another dentist so I could try and have my teeth fixed. I told the front desk why I needed the transfer and she informed the dentist. The lady from the front desk acted like I was lying and tried to blame sensitivity. I assured her that it was more than that. She took me into an office and saying, “I’m not supposed to talk about patient information in front of everyone.”As soon as I was in the office, she began to go on and on about how the problems I was having were because I didn’t get a crown and that I should finance. I told her it still wasn’t an option.Dr. Walls walked up and requested that I let her look at the cavities in question. I figured no harm could come of this and accepted. She took me back to a chair and pulled up my x-rays. You could see the decay on the x-ray! She just kept insisting that I needed to crown the second to last molar, and tapping the monitor aggressively with her little dental mirror. The one she told me to have crowned the first time was the very back one!Extremely unprofessional, if I could give no stars I would. Just be warned, do not let them work on your teeth! They will not fix everything and leave you suffering and having to pay for corrective dental work.

Great Office! Took My Daughter Last Week For Teeth Cleaning, the Hygienist (Alyssa) How did My Daughters Cleaning was Outstanding, She Works Great With Kids!!

While the dental assistant was sweet. The dentist had great bedside manner. But I can not help but feel scammed. I had already been to a dentist prior. I explained that when I called to make the appointment. I was already aware of the work that needed to be completed and which tooth. They told me they could provide that service to me at a discounted price. So I drove an hour and a half to get to this appointment just to be told that they could not perform the root canal on the 2nd molar. But they did expect payment. I already had x-rays, which were taken two days prior to this appointment but the insisted that they do their own. Upon completion of the exam I was referred to endodontist which they do not have in there practice. Which now I have to schedule a consult with them. Today was a waste of my time and money. Due to them not being up front with me. You should clarify before making the appointment with them that they can actually perform the services. I did this myself and still ended up paying for something I had already paid for previously.

A week after they worked on my teeth the tooth pain got worse than before. They wouldnt see me again, referred to someone else. The pain in my tooth is constant and pressure sensitive now. I wouldnt refer my enemy to come to this dentist. They dont care about the patient just your money.

The dental team is amazing, they work well with your budget and they have quick appointment times. Had a root canal done here and they have been great about aftercare for it and the crown Im getting.

They scheduled me for a 3:30 appointment which i sat in the lobby waiting until 4:15 only to be told the dentist had left before my appointment even started!!Scheduled weeks in advance and now i have to take off work and get my children watched again just to get the work done that i was already Scheduled For!

I was sent there for a dental exam as part of a pre-employment physical. My perspective employer set this up. They kept trying to make me pay fees out of my pocket. I was even propositioned for payment while awaiting in the dentist chair.The office manager kept telling me payment was due at time of visit. If she had read the paper work and understood that the company that sent me there would be billed directly. I think this was there first rodeo with this kinda deal. Kinda embarrassing for me to keep telling them, call the number on the paper work and read the instructions provided to you.They still have not submitted the paperwork to my prospective employer. Appointment was work days ago.To be fair, the young lady that did my x-rays and rest of staff was nice. I understand the need to get paid for services, was not handled very tastefully. Cheers.

Needed to have a crown redone. Dr Walls offered to do it free of charge. I can respect that level of professional pride. Even if I moaned about extra time in the chair. Better time spent now than a root canal later (or probably sooner rather than later...)

I was just there for a cleaning. I arrived early and was seen early. The hygienist numbed my gums so it was nearly painless (because I am a baby when it comes to dental work). She was very pleasant and gave good advice. A good experience!

Everyone was helpful and super polite. My nurse, Tammy, got the iv perfectly! I have no bruising or pain from it. She was great, and helped calm me down before the procedure. Dr. Smith did a fantastic job. There is barely any swelling, Ive already had some soup, and Im feeling hardly any pain. Thank you guys for making it quick and virtually painless.

My family has been going here forever. I actually moved about an hour away and still opt to drive the distance to get taken care of by some of the kindest people Ive met. I absolutely love going here!

Great dental clinic and awesome staff! I would highly recommend this clinic to everyone. I usually dont like going to the dentist but these guys and this place is the best!! What more can I say.

I wanted to look for a dentist who could clean my teeth on my day off, and specifically requested for the service before I made an appointment. The receptionist informed me that they would be able to clean my teeth, and thus I made an appointment with them (my regular hygienist/dentist was not available). However, after having my x-rays taken and a dentist who came in for about 3 minutes to look at my teeth, I waited 20 minutes before someone came in to present me with a treatment plan. I told her I would like my teeth cleaned today and that I have made that clear in my request for an appointment. Obviously, she seemed a little surprised and informed me she would need to schedule an appointment for my cleaning service. Well, I do not have that many days off to get my teeth cleaned. If you cannot offer cleaning service on the day I requested, be upfront with it instead of wasting my time!

Went on student regular insurace suffering from toothache. Doc Said everything is good. Didnt even gave any pain killers. Felt like doctor is keen about money than treatment.

Brittany did a great job taking care of my cleaning. She was careful in my tender spots and efficient in the time during my appointment. Overall a great job!
