I absolutely loved my experience here. I was in an automobile accident where I was not at fault a year and a half ago and it has been an absolute nightmare. I have had awful knee pain, that has only worsened despite PT, NSAID use, and rest. I am on my feet for work all day and get lots of exercise. The doctor I originally saw was very dismissive and told me he couldnt do anything for me (after doing very little & having very little rapport) and it was very discouraging.Seeking another opinion has been near impossible due to this being a litigation matter πŸ˜•.Dr. Miyamotos office got me in within just a few days and as if I wasnt happy enough with that.... Dr. Miyamoto listened to me, had bed-side manner, empathized, and I did not feel rushed. His staff was also very courteous. I honestly have not had an experience like this with ANY doctor in years. I am no Karen, haha....I am quite the pushover honestly. But today I felt as if I was sick of having people no longer listen to me and treat me as if I am not significant enough to be helped; I did not need to worry about that here and it was very comforting. Thank you Dr. Miyamoto so much. I am looking forward to resolving my ortho concerns, and its already looking better than it has this entire time. Highly recommend this doctor!

Having two crazy boys Dr Ryan has sort of been our primary physician. Both boys have seen him multiple times for their injuries. Every time he has gone out of the way to accommodate us and provided the best care including one surgery. The staff is very responsive and I cant compliment enough Dr Ryan on his Bedside manners and follow up care!

Dr. Miyamoto goes by the philosophy that surgery is a last option and will provide many many alternatives before even considering surgery–i think that is the hallmark of a great doctor who cares about his patients.

Dr. Miyamoto provides great care, excellent medical services, honest medical advises, and most importantly he fix you up!! I had a rare hamstring injury that completely ruptured it severely. As soon I was seen by him and his great staff I was able to get my surgery scheduled within a week and it took almost 4 hours for the operation. No major complications and everything went great. I already start feeling ok and I’ll start my PT very soon. I highly recommend him and his clinic if you are looking for a compassionate yet a great MD expert in this field.

Seriously amazing doctor and surgeon. Has the best bedside manners I have ever seen. I am a physical therapist and I personally treat patients who have had surgery with him and they do VERY well as compared to other surgeons in the area. I also like that doesn’t jump right into surgery and tries to treat conservatively first. You know he’s a good doctor when another doctor (me) goes to him to have surgery. I unreservedly recommend him.

Dr. Miyamoto is exceptional and has made me feel amazing. However, I am very dismayed by the office staff person who is responsible for prior authorizations. One week after my initial visit I called to follow up on whether my insurance company was contacted for prior authorization. The office staff said it takes 4-6 weeks for approval. I insisted my insurance company promises an answer within 48 hrs. So, I called my insurance company and learned they had no record of ever being contacted. I called the doctor office back and informed the staff person. I wanted to make sure she called the correct place. She insisted she called so I told her there is no record of a call. Two days later I get a call from an out of network pharmacy about a prescription the staff ordered for me. I knew from that call that the staff did not call the correct place. I called the staff AGAIN and insisted she most call the insurance companys pharmacy. Finally it got taken care of but it took four weeks because this staff person had no sense of urgency to get this matter corrected.I then got a receipt that the injectable medication I need was delivered to doctor office. I was told The staff would call when the medication was received. It was delivered on Friday and on Wednesday I still had not been called for an appointment. So, I called them. The staff told me it would be another three weeks before I could get an appointment for this injection. I complained and so she made the appointment a week sooner.I was so discouraged by this staff person I almost decided to pick up the medicine and take it to another orthopedic. No matter how great a doctor is, if his/her staff is awful then there is no point to seeing that doctor.

Dr. Miyamoto is incredible, and made what couldve been a scary and painful experience much smoother and approachable. He was dedicated and knowledgeable to my case, and took helped from the first visit through the entirety of post surgery recovery. I have since fully recovered. I cannot recommend him enough! Amazing doctor/surgeon. In regards to what people are saying about the reception staff, they should not be a reflection of him, although they can be perceived as rude and uninterested at times. The PA, Dr. Cully, is wonderful too. If youre looking for a good Doc, choose Dr. Miyamoto!

Six months after surgery I was back to playing sports. If you are looking for a Dr. who does great work and goes the extra mile, he is the guy!

Dr. Miyamoto is by far one of the best Drs. I have ever met. He it thoughtful and kind. He did surgery on my wifes shoulder after she had torn every tendon and ligament in it. Shoulder is as good as new with full range of motion. High 5 Dr.

While the doctor may be top notch his office staff lacks personality and patient skills. The woman at the front check in was rude and very short with me each time I went to the window, she actually hurriedly pulled window to to pick up her cell phone before I was done talking.I arrived an hourly early and was actually seem late . If I were not in pain I would have left.

My experience with doctor was very negative. I had a problem with my whole right arm and i was told they only could look at one part of the body at a time. So i asked, if that meant i had to come back 2 more times for the rest of arm? The doctors assistant answered YES. I got physical therapy for my shoulder but didint help. 3 years later i decided to see another ortho, and FINALLY got a diagnose and the right treatment. I felt like another number with this doctor and while i was talking to him i did not get any feedback of what i was saying nor the symptoms i described.

Dr. Miyamoto is excellent both professionally and personally. My only problem is it takes too much time (20 minutes) to make an appointment with him. His receptionists need help!

Five stars are not enough! I had what turned out to be the trifecta surgery (ACL/MCL/meniscus) surgery in October 2017. I followed his instructions to the letter and was pretty faithful at pt. He warned me it was a long road to recovery, but gave me realistic markers along the way. My knee is veritably as good as new! Dr. Miyamoto is fabulous.
