Dr. Blosser is amazing! Very personable and has great bedside manner! That being said, after roughly 12 years, I am forced to seek a new doctor due to the incompetent, unprofessional, non-responsive and irresponsible office staff. This includes everyone from the reception desk, medicine department, triage nurse and office management.First, it took them almost two months to contact me to schedule the procedure AFTER receiving their required paperwork. They called in my prescription to the wrong pharmacy (one I couldn’t get to), immediately after I provided them with the pharmacy that I use. For more than 5 weeks, I attempted to contact them to have the script filled at the correct pharmacy and was forced to leave messages, only to NEVER receive a return call. The first contact I received in regards to this situation was ONLY AFTER I sent a cancellation message to their portal. That too, went almost 3 days until a response, in a message via portal ILO a phone call - a little more than two days before the procedure. By the time they attempted to respond to my many inquiries and requests, they FINALLY called in the prescription required for the surgery, only to be denied by my insurance company because they’d already approved the prescription at another pharmacy.Hopefully the doctors will figure out how to fix or replace their staff before they lose all of their patients. My recommendation, go somewhere else!

Dr. Sov took the time to explain my mom’s condition to us in detail. She was patient and answered all of our questions. We did not feel rushed and appreciated her taking the time to explain things and going over the steps needed to help my mother feel better and healing.

Staff is always pleasant and helpful. Pamela is wonderful to work with and speak with. She is knowledgeable and always helps.

Michelle was very pleasant and professional. We appreciate the time and advice she gave us.

I have taken both of my parents to Dr. Sabahi for the last 4 months and he has been very professional with both, he takes his time to explain everything and its very easy to follow. He responds to emails and calls which I greatly appropriate.Thank you for everything you’ve done for my parents, you make it easy for those of us who take care of elderly parents!

Efficient and friendly staff. The introductory screening done by Michelle Sealock, the physician assistant, was very good. Quite thorough and she clearly listened to any issues I had.My only concern is not meeting a doctor that is performing a relatively invasive process before the procedure is taking place, but I suppose that is the way things are done these days.

Very personable and asked lots of good questions, then gave us very good advise.

I waited 2 months for a 5 minute appointment. They ordered labs for me which had to be done at a different location. To get the results, they expected me to make another appointment which meant another 2 months of waiting until the next available appointment. I had to call multiple times and practically beg for someone let me know the results. About a week later or so later, someone finally called.Another issue, they are also closed for 90 minutes every day at lunch time and you cant even leave a message. Whaaaat!?!?I complained to my medical insurance company and plan to see a different gastroenterology office in the future. This office could not have cared less about my medical issue.

I am very pleased with the care and attention receive from Hien . She is always kind, courteous and polite. I love her compassion to solve the issues and finding the solutions. I have been with this group over 25 years. Hein isBest of the Best.

I dont have many complaints with the doctors here. For the most part its been civil. But man let me tell you, dont expect to get a medication refill ANY time soon. When you call them, they tell you that itll take between 24-48 hours to get it filled and to have a faster response time, to have your pharmacy contact them.Ive done both. The first time I needed a refill my pharmacy contacted them when I had plenty of time to get it filled. I had just mere days left before I finally managed to get someone to respond to my request. The second was a direct message exactly a week ago and still no response.Its because of this behavior that Im forced to look elsewhere for care.

First - I am in the medical field and realize no healthcare provider can be perfect all the time but my experience recently was not ok. I was discharged from the ER and was told they spoke to the FNP Lois Lee regarding my issues ( she was on call) and she told them to have me call the office in am and she would see me on Friday ( which was next day). They said they only were discharging me and not keeping me because she would see me and have a follow up plan. When I called the office I was basically blown off. I explained that the ER spoke with her and I was following HER directions. They connected me to the nurses line and I left a message. I was called by a very nice receptionist who said that she was told by Ms Lee to put me on her schedule - the young lady said Aug 18 was the soonest..... I explained the the receptionist that I was told I needed to be seen the next day. She said she was doing what she was told. They either have very poor communication or they just dont care. This is why healthcare providers get a bad review. Poor Communication. I am a RN I know how and what should have happened. Wont be seeking care from this office. I recommend you also find another practice that has better communications skills.

I have been under the care of Dr. Blosser and Pamela Stenborg for over 10 years. Every encounter I have had with them and their office has been professional and personal. Most recently Pamela and Stefanie, one of their talented MA Care Managers, supported work with my insurance company to get a treatment covered. They provided them with the necessary documentation and my personal care plan and history that supported the clinical necessity of the treatment they were prescribing. They advocated for me and my health and kept me completely informed along the way. I trust them as my health care providers and appreciate all of their efforts and ongoing care.

I left a review here after my horrible experience having an EGD with Dr. Blosser and I am amazed to see that it isnt here? Did they remove the review? Maybe they expire after a year? The doctor insulted me, told me I didnt have a gastric sleeve surgery that I did have and that I should undergo another type of stomach surgery. When I started to explain that I did have the surgery and did not need the other surgery he told me to come for a follow-up appt and talk to him later when I wasnt under the influence of the anesthetic - as if I didnt understand what he was saying? I understood everything he said. He is a real jerk.

Called in October, couldn’t get first consult until December. I scheduled my EGD/colonoscopy for January (6 weeks later was the earliest available) only to get a call to move it two weeks further because of a “scheduling error”. Finally get my procedure done on Jan 28th. Called for my recommended follow up appointment, can’t be seen until the end of March. I’ve never met the doctor except in the OR because my appointments are with his nurses.To top it off, I am a kidney failure patient who is active on the transplant list. I just got denied as an alert candidate today for a donor because this office told my coordinators at Walter Reed my pathology reports would take 4-6 weeks. Having working in medical administrative roles for 6 years, including at a cancer practice, I am well aware pathology reports don’t take that long.Please don’t come here if you have urgent issues, or need things done in a timely manner. Their lack of urgency cost me a kidney transplant today, and I will never return here or recommend it to anyone else.

This group of individuals always take the time to listen and offer a solution to any issue I have had. I think of them as family and would recommend them to anyone. This even includes their online portal. I recently was out of town for a family emergency and had to use the portal for medical assistance. They responded within 24 hours and even called me to offer assistance. Great people!

Dr. Blosser is great and so are all his staff. I have had 2 colonoscopies and 2 upper endoscopies, all went flawlessly. Recently met with Pam Stenborg, PA and she was professional, personable, patient, and proficient. Highly recommend.

During my recent visit, PA Dinh was superb. She communicated well, was knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and went the extra mile to insure everything was properly addressed and my follow on actions were clear. Great, productive visit with her and the whole staff.

Do not call this office. I made the mistake of inquiring about their services and Ive been spammed and robo-called 3x per week since.

I saw Dr. Shah in August 2020. He has been my gastroenterologist for approximately 5 years. He is a wonderful doctor who listens and always makes sure I understand what is going on with my gastrointestinal health. The staff was also pleasant and professional.

Got a personal call from the doctor the day before the procedure. Everyone was nice and explained what they were doing. Very few other patients were in the waiting room or procedure area, so it felt quite safe during covid.

Their front office staff is unresponsive. I filled out the new patient package and never got a call back for scheduling an appointment. Called and emailed several time with no response! If you have a choice go elsewhere else don’t waste your time.

First time visit. Staff was professional and friendly. Solid COVID procedures in place and on-time appointment. Like the use of pre/post online office procedures which are easy to use and time saving. Too early to make Doctor assessments since it was just a screening appointment.

I wont say this office as a whole has provided the best experience ever nor that I havent had any moments of frustration. However, they have been very competent and caring during the discovery and treatment of my disease. They went to lengths a previous doctor had not to verify my issues. I have only met Dr. Shah during my procedures, but seeing only a NP in the office should not dissuade anyone from visiting here. Shana Gliem has been on-point and extremely receptive of my many questions...even as I was very anxious during the beginning of my treatment.

Best professional care, timely and thorough. I have been a patient for over 10 years - I highly recommend them.

Nice office. But. Dr. Solomon Shah is questionable.. From a previous lawsuit (fact. look it up) to his seemingly very messy personal life; It all spills together in my opinion. Apparently he is married to a woman who is probably using him and his money, and has a boy toy or two on the side (maybe they both do). How can one practice successfully and maybe even ethically with that much mess in their lives, professionally and personally? But like I said, nice office.

Over the past 7 years Dr Blosser has performed 6 procedures on me, all to a consistently high standard. Dr Blosser is factual, to the point and efficient, which I personally appreciate. I had to have an emergency ERCP procedure done at Fair Oaks INOVA Hospital and Dr Blosser and PA Dinh treated me during my stay. They found out what the problem was and I am still under treatment with medication. I was grateful they found the problem and developed a plan of care for me. They were informative and pleasant. I recommend this group for any GI issues!

I didnt have any of the problems described in other reviews. I was informed before hand what to expect and I understood that your first visit was a consultation where they discussed family history, any illness and any concerns that you may have about a procedure.The staff was professional and I didnt wait long to be seen by a PA, who evaluated me and we scheduled a procedure at a time that was convenient for me. I am not sure what people are expecting their first visit as this experience has been typical for any gastrointestinal visit that I attended with family.I showed up 30 minutes before my appointment, filled out the paperwork, opened a book and 2 minutes later I got called back and they took my vitals, expecting a long wait got comfortable but before I finished opening the book on my phone the nicest, most professional PA came in and took her time going over my concerns and questions. She even answered questions I didnt ask. :-)

Dr. Richard A. Blosser has performed two procedures on me and I was recently seen by Pamela S. Stenborg, NP. I have been extremely satisfied with their medical care and recommend this practice without reservation.

On my first visit, Dr Sabahi diagnosed my health issue immediately.Highly recommended health facility.

Very professional and friendly staff. As a patient, I feel very safe being treated there and trust them alot. I had my check up done by J. Hien Dinh. She is very professional and very patient. She lets me ask all my questions and is really concerned to make sure I feel better.As for Dr Blosser, I had my colonoscopy and endoscopy done by him. He was very friendly to me and got everything done in a very professional manner. It all went well with no complications at all and it was the fastest procedure I have ever had. The whole staff on the day of the procedure made me feel relaxed and happy. They were all very friendly and professional.I definitely recommend them to anyone.

Not helpful, where to start. Doctor sent me to get endoscopy to their outpatient office. When I arrive, to my shock they had me down as getting a colonoscopy!! After procedure went back for follow up with doctor. Doctor gave me a prescription they said was covered under my insurance. It was not. I call back to ask for a covered medicine under my insurance. They tell they don’t know what medicines are covered under my insurance and for me to call my provider and ask them for a medicine alternative as if the insurance company was the doctor. I tell them this and the solution was to double up on previous prescription I was on before procedure, that was not working. Make matters worse I just received a $500 bill for anesthesiologist that was not covered by insurance, which may be valid but the receptionist said my insurance covered procedure. Waiting on call back for about 2 months about getting medicine that would help me. Obviously looking for a better practice now.

This place should and will be reported to the Virginia State Medical Board. Their administrative policies or a lack thereof are almost beyond reason. Recently they have forwarded their phones DURING business hours to an answering service. I lost count at how many non returned messages I left whilst attempting to ascertain why THEIR pharmacy cannot reach them to send them my medicine, meanwhile I continue to suffer the symptoms of my disease. I never heard from them again. Not an email. Not a phone call. Nothing. Their front desk staff are rude and lazy and the nurse in charge of insurance approvals never returns your messages. I sincerely hope my case is a one off but I seriously doubt it. This place is atrocious and I advise anyone looking for competent office that actually CARES and has some sense of professional urgency to look elsewhere. Youll thank me later. I promise.

I completed pages of information they requested from me in order to schedule a colonoscopy appointment. Over a week later after I faxed the paperwork to them and I still havent received an appointment. Their administrative people are totally clueless and unresponsive. Ill go somewhere else.

I started with a different doctor (Colvin) and switched over to Dr. Blosser in 2007. I would not go anywhere else. It was the best decision I have ever made. Pamela the NP is great, Dr. Blosser is knowledgeable and at times even has a sense of humor. The staff is professional and helpful with quick response times.

No interaction with physician before my endiscopy (which was scheduled at hospital as colonoscopy by this office). Dr. Blosser did NOT address my initial conplaint of vomiting blood and told me it was inpossible for me to have acid reflux since I had a previous gastric bypass. He performed a laser procedure to help me loose weight without my prior permission or knowledge of my current autoimmune disorders. I am now miserable and can no longer eat solid food without vomiting. I am trying to get a follow-up appointment, but terrified that they will want to do another EGD.

Always explained everything and ask if you have any questions, very caring staff.

This office has by far the WORST receptionists! They are extremely RUDE, unprofessional and they hang up the phone on you constantly! The receptionists are the ONLY reason why I will never again return to this office! Stay away!

This is a caring professionally excellent group. Have had two procedures and multiple visits and am always treated respectfully and with the highest medical expertise.

Visit with Ms. Pam Stenborg was excellent and an upper endoscopy/colonoscopy was scheduled for 10/17/2019 @ Fair Oaks Hospital with Dr. Blosser.. The support provided by Kim and Chu was also excellent !!

I waited for one hour to see a physician, was seen by a NP who recommended an endoscopy and a colonoscopy, without viewing my information, the front desk was rude and incompetent. Will look for better care in Alaska..

DO NOT GO HERE! I literally just got off the phone with doctor Pam Stenborg and I am beyond disappointed in their practice! My husband has been having severe stomach pains for a couple of years. 2 years ago he had to do a surgery because he had a duodenal ulcer in his small intestine (gastritis / duedenitis). Doctor Fischer who apparently retired in January (they never notified us) told us he had to take 1 pill every day to prevent it and we could slowly build it down to 1 pill every other day. He has been doing fine ever since untill a couple of weeks ago. When I called the office they told me that doctor Fischer retired and that the earliest appointment they could schedule with a real doctor, not a nurse practitioner, could take at least 2 months. I told them I would discuss this with my husband and get back to them then. However when I tried to call them (after multiple times hearing, voicemails...) I received the most rudest call back. Doctor Pam Stenborg told us we should just buy an over the counter medicine and when I told her doctor Fischer told us we could call the office anytime to get his medicine refilled she said well you havent been in our office for a year at this point. Yes luckily we havent... Luckily he has been feeling well for a year now! Though this was not a professional way of talking to their customers at all and I would néver éver recommend them. So please go find another practice that doés care about their customers!

Worst dr office anyone could go to. Bunch of idiots. First nurse took my blood pressure said it was 220/190..wrong. Then the dr who pulled me into her office said she could not help me and never should have been seen and nothing they can do for me..month later they send a $466 dollar bill for 3 minute visit. I would highly recommend Virginia surgical associates over this place.

Worst and rude administrative staff.This practice should not exist in fact. I had to wait for 2 hour for doctor visit.A NP biased me for treatment.So, I want to away from this provider. The office staffs do not know how to upload statement in Privia portal and they even did not bother to give a call. Instead, they preferred to send to collection. Ghetto placeI would give negative star if available.

Very rushed. Felt there the little I did have to say or ask was an inconvenience or insignificant.

I dont review negatively but first time in my life, I am doing this. I dont recommend this doctor office, because they charge you very heavy, and their billing department is not courteous. I went there for endoscopy, and they charged me about $3000.00 after insurance payment. One of my coworker used different doctor for same procedure, which charged $800 after insurance adjustment, who has same insurance as mine. I asked them about billing criteria, they said, every doctor office does bill differently. They are money killer, not service provider at all.

On the website, they specified the close time at 4:30, by they dont do anything after 4 pm, always ask people next day.

Been here twice and they were late seeing us both times. Obviously they book too many appointments in a day. Im not impressed. Oh and the wifi doesnt work.

The worst service from the front office lady , she act like she is working on the hood or the ghetto . No manners at all .
