The level of rude and unprofessional behavior is at its apogee with the front desk people at this place. After receiving multiple text messages confirming my appointment, I walked in and the the lady at the front told me that my appointment was canceled. Weird, because I have a text message saying Im confirmed. She said that those texts are unreliable. She then proceeded to tell me that someone called me on July 7 and spoke with me. Since that is a lie (nobody called me), I kindly asked her to double check. She checked and said oh yeah, they left you a voicemail. That was another lie, so again, I asked her politely to double check. And upon checking, she said that they could not reach you because you mobile was disconnected. Disconnected? Interesting, because my cell phone has been operational for 15 years. She said that they have the wrong number for me - so again, I asked her to check my number, and it turns out they do have the CORRECT number. They just never called me and are making up excuses.I drove 40 minutes each way for Karen at the front desk to lie to me 3 times. All she needed to do was apologize - an apology goes a long way. If any of the doctors are reading this review, do yourselves a favor and replace the people at the front desk. They are turning customers away for an otherwise good practice with good doctors. Its a shame. Stop lying, be honest, and treat people like humans - believe me, this goes a LONG way.

I was always wore glasses and couldnt wear contact lenses. I made the big decision to proceed with LASIK to fix my vision for good. The staff there made me feel very welcoming and I loved how they made me feel cared for. I especially appreciated the patience and care from Rachel and Dr. Boutros during my surgery. They made me feel less tensed and more confident during the whole process. The post-care instructions were very clear and easy to understand. I highly recommend going here for LASIK!

Be aware that you will be charged for a retinal exam that is not covered by insurance. You will not get advanced notice and you have no choice in the matter.My intake paperwork that I received after checking in stated that I would undergo a retinal exam which is not covered by insurance. The paperwork stated that if I refuse the exam, then the doctor may terminate the visit. I did not consent to the exam, I only signed to acknowledge that my appointment may be terminated if I refuse the exam. My doctor never informed me when the exam was being done, so I was never given the opportunity to refuse the exam. I was charged $45 for a service that was not medically necessary and that I did not want. I think that if this office has this policy to require all patients to undergo this exam, this needs to be stated when the patient is scheduling the appointment over the phone. It is inconvenient to only learn after coming in for your appointment that your appointment may be terminated if you refuse the exam, and then furthermore not even be given the opportunity to refuse it.

Dr. Reisner is very caring and knowledgeable. He explains everything in a way you understand what is going on. He will answer all your questions. The office staff are great as they get you in and are ready for you when you arrive. The nurses are great they also explain what each test does and very professional. I highly recommend The Eye Center Fairfax.

I was a driver for a friend, I watched people who had a 10:30 appoints go ahead of a 10:15 appointment. When I asked about this, the doctor himself was very rude, he first put his hand up and make hushing sounds, then he stated hed talk to a man about it, but not to a women, because women cant understand. He then stated if you get stuck in traffic and arrive an hour late, you will still be seen before the people who made it on time. They say it takes 2 to 2 1/2, it took 3 hours and 45 minutes before he was ever seen. They maybe do good on the surgery but they have no organization or customer service skills.

Unethical. They overcharge on co-pays. They charge you the co-pay amount for seeing an ophalmologist but you dont see an opthalmologist, you see the lower co-pay, less qualified optometrist. They also test my eyes for pressure in morning appointments, when pressure is naturally highest throughout any 24-hour period, so that is somewhat bogus. Therefore, they lost me as a long time patient.

An absolutely phenomenal visit! The office is clean and parking is ample. I never had to wait for more than 5 minutes for my optometrist to come and get me. Ive been coming here since 2015 and it has been the best decision of my life. Dr. Christina Phan has been such a great help in diagnosing my issues and providing not only valuable feedback, but also insight on why my conditions occur and how to prevent them in the long run. I would recommend this office to anyone reading this review!

I highly recommend Dr. Phan! She is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I have been a patient of hers for several years. She is attentive, caring and makes you feel comfortable during your visit.

I had my new glasses few weeks ago at this location, then I came back requesting a form to be filled out from the DMV, the front desk lady told me that they are busy and to wait, I told her I just need to leave it with you and I’ll come back later to pick it up , again she asked me to wait?! After 15 min I just left , I don’t understand what kind of customer service is this? I’m already a patient who is asking to retrieve his data in order to get another work done. I’m going to re do the whole eye check again somewhere else and pay money again just because they don’t have a min to pick the paper from me.I’m no longer going over there.

This is my go to place to get my eyes checked! Dr. Phan is true professional and very knowledgeable of her profession! NEVER had any issues and plan on going here for a long time!

The one star is for the office staff. I have been going to Dr. Reisner for a very long time and he is a great doctor. The office staff does not know how to book appointments . my appointment was at 3:00 pm and at 3:45 I was still waiting and they told me they would call me soon , I asked how long I had to wait in the room before the doctor comes in and she said I was looking at 50 minutes to an hour. I told them why do they even give appointments. unfortunately this was the second time this happened. Since Vonnie retired the office has fallen apart ; she was a big asset to the practice.

I had my lasik surgery at the Fairfax office and cannot say enough good things about this office. Dr. Boutros and Dr. Phan are the best and the office staff is exceptional. Very professional and everyone seems to truly care. You are greeted the minute you walk into this office and just listening to Roxanne take phone calls, you know you will be taken care of. Thank you so much for giving me 20/20 vision at 55 years old and easing my fears. I just had my one year visit and I only wish I would have done this surgery sooner. Thank you to the doctors and staff at the Fairfax office.

They are great here. I was there for a consultation and Doctor Phan was great.She took the time to explain everything and made sure I understood the procedure including side effects.Most highly recommended.

I got my lasik done over a year ago. I had the best experience! Everyone at the eye center was very nice and professional. I walked in with terrible vision and walked out seeing perfectly. I now have 20/20 in one eye and 20/15 in the other. I have had no complication and have loved my experience so much, Ive convinced 3 of my friends to go there as well. They would say the same thing about their experience.

Called to make an appointment for a routine eye exam and the lady was extremely rude and not helpful. She acted like I had no clue what I was talking about and was very unpleasant.

If I had to describe my experience at The Eye Center and Dr. Boutros - AMAZING! First, choosing The Eye Center for LASIK was easy, they have the most advanced technology in the entire area (and its blade-free thank goodness) and Dr. Boutros experience is unmatched, its my eyes after all. Their staff made the entire LASIK process easy and comfortable. They seemed truly excited for me when they told me I was a candidate for LASIK. I couldnt believe how quick the procedure was too. Dr. Boutros walked me through the whole way. They are incredibly professional and comforting. I took a nap after the procedure like Dr. Boutros instructed and woke up feeling amazing and best of all, I could already SEE!! The next day I was seeing 20/20 and it just keeps getting better, even my vision at night. This has been the best thing I have ever done and getting rid of my glasses and contacts (along with the expense and hassles) is more than worth it. Thank you Dr. Boutros, you changed my life!
