I’ve had to take my mom to this hospital twice and both times she’s been treated well especially by the nurses. This last time she went in for COVID and even though I couldn’t be in there with her to translate, she said that they were kind and tentative with her. Her only issue was the translator they gave didn’t translate very well.

I do mean all, from the people cleaning the rooms, the nurses 🥰, and the doctors. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You guys are the best. If I had the means Id buy every one of you dinner .

Several nurses in the ICU made my grandmothers last few days even more painful than they already were. Condescending attitude, refused her pain meds because they thought she was drug seeking, she was literally on her death bed! Stage 4 kidney failure, she had a stroke and didnt have the strength to even get her popsicle to her mouth without her arm giving out halfway! Eventually she could no longer even close her mouth.. Zero compassion or consideration, I get these people deal with the sick and dying on a daily basis and have programmed themselves to be desensitized to a variety of traumatic circumstances and remain professional, but screw that. Do better.

Very clean facility. Covid screening and safety prevention and sanitizer stations throughout building.I came seeking care for my Mom. I was very thankful for meeting a Social Services Worker named Stephan. He was from the very beginning absolutely a very understanding, caring, and compassionate man.. His communication was on point, he handled my questions, my concerns with such stature. Even when a storm was battling within me. He calmed me. He was kind gave me Hope. As we siblings had been with no care for our Mom for almost a Month. Running back and forth to ER. Vividly speaking Mom was there in ER this morning.Stephan was such a big help with giving us helpful tools, referrals and resources. Moms care now is underway, referrals are being met and Mom is on the mend with treatments. This man was a God sent angel in our time of need. I hope that others have experienced this kind of care. We are in this for the long haul, and Stephan is part of Moms team. Thank you for your service and time.

Conflicting information among the staff. Sometimes more than not I found my self waiting 2 hours to get the help I needed for a bed pan and a commodeEnded up have incontinence more than not.. I had appendix removal surgery back in February. When I went in early morning I got into a room pretty quick they drew blood & put an iv in me but they didnt even give me anything for my pain. They told me they were gonna do a cat scan to see what was causing the pain but I waited over a couple hours for it. Once I finally got the scan it was to long after they told me I had appendicitis. After that is when I got some medication for the pain which by the way was the worse pain Ive ever felt. Once they told me the results I spoke to a surgeon giving me the option to just take medications to take away the pain or have surgery to remove it. Of course I wanted surgery I didnt want the pain to come back. I was scheduled to have surgery at 12:30pm when that time came they told me the surgery was postponed till 3:30pm I waited all that time for surgery when my appendix could have ruptured anytime I should not have had to wait that long for it when it could have gotten more serious. I get theres other patients who may have had something worse but if it ruptured in me I would have to have emergency surgery. The only thing that was good was the nurses & doctors were so nice to me but that doesnt change the fact I had to wait so long for something this serious. The two stars are for everyone being nice to me & not having to wait to get checked in.

My mom was taken into emergency. When I arrived I was allowed in right away no waiting. Her first nurse that checked her in was great she told her exactly what she was doing. The second one came in the room 2 times in her 4 hr shift. My mom needed to use the bathroom she waited as long as she could and no one came in her room for at least 10 minutes after I cleaned her up. Then no one came back into her room until the head nurse asked how she was being treated. I complained about her nurse. The last nurse we had was great. She went out of her way to make my mom as comfortable as she could. Our entire stay at the hospital was 10 hrs. I do understand that the nurses are busy but you do not ignore a call when an 80 yr old needs to use the bathroom.

Well, I am so sorry to post another negative review about this hospital, but what else can I do? I came to ER last night after a bad fall, after not even being triaged after 2 hours, I could not sit anymore and had to walk out. The ER is seriously mismanaged. This morning I made an appointment with my Dr. first thing, and after seeing her, she had me brought down to the ER for treatment, I needed an immediate MRI. So after getting here at 9a.m.I have been moved to the hallway where I get to sit and listen to all of the alarms right in my ear,, and everyone else screaming.... My pain medication has worn off, it is 3 p.m. and here I sit. By the way, when I came to ER, there was 2 people here. Unacceptable treatment of people. We matter!!!Also, Alan in ER has absolutely no bedside manner, is cocky and full of himself and should find another profession if he doesnt care to help people..by the way, just found out my back is broken, and it is now 7:30 p.m. and I am still sitting in the hallway

I have never seen a hospital with a pay toll booth in their freaking parking garage. How pathetic and a clear way to show that care is not first priority here but profit is.Oh, and if you are wearing a cloth mask they make you put a surgical mask on over it because that’s effective. There isn’t enough room to give all the details of this awful encounter but at the end of the visit my mother told the nurse she would never come back to this hospital again, the nurse immediately responded by saying “GOOD- because we don’t want you here again”! The ER has a terrible wait time which is understandable for a hospital. The nicest and most helpful person whom i came into contact was the security guard at the front desk, which is sad because you would hope that medical professionals that work in a hospital would be there to help you but this did not feel like the case.I felt highly neglected as a patient here in this hospital.I came to the ER because Im pregnant and i had very heavy bleeding this morning and i was in fear of a miscarriage. Especially since i have already had one with my first pregnancy. When i first arrived it was 10 am and there were only 4 people besides me in the waiting room. I explained what was going on to the lady at the front desk and she assured me that i would be seen immediately..... it took them 2 hours to get me a room. An additional hour until the nurse even came to the room, and another additional hour just to do an ultra sound. After the ultra sound was completed they told me they would have the results in 30 min........ my fiance and I waited an additional 2 hours for the results and still nothing. So my fiance went to the nurse station and asked for assistance. He was told a nurse would be sent in. we waited an another 30 min for the nurse and nothing. At this point we were so upset and hungry after being in the hospital all day long that we decided to leave and asked for hospital to get back to us with our results. we spent about 7 or more hours at this hospital. after arriving home and making dinner we still had not heard from the hospital about our results, which was very upsetting.... so we decided to call and ask for the results. We were told that they werent able to give us our results at that time (and i quote) a doctor might or might not be able to give us a call about the results!!!!!So long story short. We wasted an entire day at the hospital to make sure our unborn child was okay just to find out that these incompetent fools had no answer or help available for our problem. Absolutely ridiculous and this hospital deserves to be recognized for its incapability to serve patients in need of real medical attention.

In those 3 hours the only vitals taken were my temperature when I walked in. The inefficiency of the entire hospital is beyond any form of common sense. The substandard cleanliness is my biggest concern at this hospital. Their lack of attentiveness can mean life or death and I saw very little accountability, specifically in the ER. If you go here and get COVID, it is because of their medical staffs lack of proper protection and education. The nurse I know is even advocating that everyone get it and letting the vulnerable DIE. If you are a vulnerable please do not risk the virus and go here, they don’t care that their staff is spreading the virus. And if you go here and do get it, contact a lawyer. They knew exactly what they were doing, explained anything I wanted to know, after surgery, were gentle and human, talking to me in the early hours of the morning when I couldnt sleep or was scared, moving me around to help alleviate the pain from the position I was in, they were so positive, encouraging and had the utmost patience with me. I felt like a VIP the whole time I was there. It was the most afraid I have ever been and because of the caring nurses and doctors it was an experience I will never forget. Id give them a million stars if I could.

Its not like I had a terrible experience, but I told Dr. Moyes in the ER that you can hear my heart murmur, and she said thats physically impossible. Every doctor thats ever listened to my heart since I was 2 years old has been able to hear it, even telling me its very pronounced. I mean, most of the time you diagnose a heart murmur by listening to your heart. The nurses seemed way smarter and more helpful than the doctor.

Good hospital. Check in staff was friendly and helpful. Medical professionals were complete. The only reason I didnt provide a 5 star rating was the charge for parking in the garage. I kind of took it as a money grab on the sick people. Its in Everett, not downtown Seattle. Parking is not limited in this area.

Constantly being over charged! Because front desk or schedulers put in wrong code. Billing wont help. We are not coders! So every time I go to drs. I have to fight about my bill. I so far have always been right.

There current policy of no visitors is the biggest BS policy! I know we aren’t the only one but they expect my wife, whose pregnant, to experience everything through appointments and ultrasounds ALONE! My wife’s mental health is worth more then not allowing one extra person with her. My wife has literally felt like she’s been doing this pregnancy, our first, alone since I haven’t been able to attend with her.Providence please check your policy and don’t think about just COVID! You’re causing more mental and physical health problems by trying to stop one thing!

Went there a couple weeks ago because I was having a miscarriage. The nurses I had did great, but the OB I had Dr. Metcalf was the worst doctor I ever had in my life. She came in almost 2 hours after the ER doc called her. She came in the room, complaining that even if a surgery was needed for me she didnt want to do it because she already did a surgery today. Then she told me this was preventable and I caused it because I have an 11 month old son and I should have waited until he was at least 18 months old to conceive. She then walked out of the room. Even the nurse was speechless. I was told I needed a blood transfusion but they couldnt get a good vein so they just didnt do anything. Just told me to take some iron supplements and Ill feel better in a few days from the abnormal amount of blood loss. I was in so much pain, worse than labor. It was 1am when they discharged me. I asked if I could rest for 1 more hour because I have 5 kids and there is no rest at home. The ER doc Dr. Weaver told me we dont let people rest for childcare purposes and left the room. Horrible facility. I also let the clinical staff know that I did not want to take a certain medication. They gave it to me anyways without telling me what it was. This is neglect. Horrible, horrible providers. I feel like I should be suing.

My surgery went really well. My doctor did s good job with my surgery. The nurses who came in the morning were really good in explaining everything. The nurse after surgery woke me up out of my anesthesia after a hour. She got me up out of the bed got me dressed and wanted to get me discharged right away. Then my boyfriend was there with me. He was in the waiting room when I went into surgery and staff made him leave cause he had a cough. They could of had him put on a mask. Then they had me hurry up to get ahold of him to come and get me. I dont appreciate that they made him leave. That is being discriminated against.

After having surgery here I have had numerous problems. The communication between Doctors and other staff members is very lacking.I am told one thing and something that is totally different happens. The nurses are fantastic. Great attitude and service.Part of the care for my condition was a learning experience for most of the nurses. They were completely unprepared to deal with it.As it stands now I have been here 14 days and cant get out. One excuse after another for not releasing me. I feel I am being kept here because I have good insurance coverage not because I need the care.I have gone 6 days without food because I have refused to have another feeding tube placed down my nose. Some of the staff have gotten an attitude because I am demanding answers. When I told them that I wanted to sign myself out of the hospital, I was told that if I did my insurance company would not pay my bill.

I went twice within weeks of each other forbroken bones and left me sitting in a hard chair for7 hours and then left me on a bed laying on my side which caused me to get bed sores. Even the cat scan they did said I didnt have broken bones. They kept lieing to me. I finally got xrays from my Dr. and guess what, I have 4 broken ribs and more. I will never go back to that hospital.

How great do you guys feel working in an economy where someone can get no sleep because all they want to do is slice their jugular open! And god forbid should they be able to call 911! Since its 1000$ alone just o be transported to a 72 hr hold! Hope I dont find the strength to go through with it!

Went to visit Family in hospital. We were there less than 30 minutes. Checked the parking kiosk as we exited to the parking garage, as the attendant recommend us. It said we owed nothing (under 30 minutes) waited in line to exit garage for over 5 minutes. Got to the attendant told them it said no charge at the kiosk, and still had to pay for parking for the under 30 minutes we were there. PAYING TO PARK AT A HOSPITAL IS ROBBERY. COMPLETE MONEY GRAB. Bathrooms are usually gross. And the ER wait is always 2+ hours. Go to Edmonds and get real help at Swedish.
