They said they need a CT scan but its taken them 4 hours and no response. This is ridiculous. Ive had plenty of ct scans and its not that long of a process nor is it that long to get results. They only wanna run up your insurance so they can squeeze money

If you need emergency room care this is the place to go, however if you need to stay overnight or longer good luck trying to be discharged when your healthy. Trying to get the doctor to come see you for your review/ follow up is the longest part of your wait here. COVID or not if someone asks to be discharged three times and ignored for over four plus hours it can be irritating.

The team that took care of me on 6N were wonderful. They always answered my questions and kept me informed. The food and coffee were very good. They work awfully hard to take care of everyone and with a smile.

If you have to stay here make sure to bring your own phone charger, do not give it to the nurses, they go through your phone. There is no such thing as a charger that will cause your phone to turn on by its self but thats what the nurses will tell you when your phone is returnedd to you, uncharged and turned back on.In the emergency room, if you are able to walk they will put you in a room that holds 4 people, one in each corner in those recliner chairs. While I spent 4 hours in this room there were 3 other people put in the same seat across from me, 3 different times without the seat being cleaned, not even with just a handy wipe. (Covid, covid, covid)Then after being fully admitted and put in a room up stairs, without a bathroom in it, I find out there are 2 bathrooms out in the halls that every one is to use, and again nothing is cleaned in-between each use of the restroom. I got a picture of the shower floor that is in one of the bathrooms,I wish I could post it a long with this review, the grouting in the tiles is rusty, I was there 3 days without a shower, never even wanted to use it because it sure looked like I would have gotten some foot disease from the rusty grouting. And for some reason the only time of day they would do blood tests is at 3 am, oh I see your have finally gotten to sleep, lets give you a blood test now. There are signs by the entrances of this hospital that ask you to keep quiet because people are trying to heal, seemed more like its because they only let you sleep 2 hours at a time, blood pressure, iv, the cafeteria calling, but of all the sleep disruptions I only saw a Dr 2 times when I was upstairs, the first morning at 6 am, then about 9 am the day I was released. The pillows I was given looked like ones you would see in a TV show about prisons. Could have played hockey with the veggie burger patty it was so over microwaved. The sandwich meat was so dry it was almost jerky. Now this is one thing I did not need to hear when I was there while in the ER, I got to over hear them tell some one they had AIDS. The only thing about this that didnt violate HIPPA was the fact I never heard the person name but I got to hear this persons first reaction to being told what they had.My hand has gotten better through all this but for a hospital and Covid19 and the way they are all afraid of getting it, you would think they would have cleaning supplies every where but narry a bottle or cleaning rag to be seen.

I had a 5 day stay here, the staff was amazing. The food was not bad, the hospital is clean and well maintained. I felt like I was well cared for from the surgery to my recovery. Would definitely choose then again if I need surgery or other healthcare in the future.

Today my wife had to be admitted for a same day diagnostic procedure. She is handicapped and suffers seizures, and I was not allowed to come into the building with her. When I tried to explain our situation to the woman at the second floor screening desk she became rude and nasty and shut me down. Told me no, and outright dismissed me and ask for the next person to step up. You say you have the compassion of Christ and invoke his name, but I call b.s.. I am hurt and angry, and if anything happens to my wife because I wasnt allowed in there I will sue! Guaranteed!Dont tell me that it is mandated, because I know better, we have had other procedures done at other places recently and I was able to escort her as caregiver. This is wrong on all levels.

If you go to this hospital make sure to a get a list of charges from the doctor and make sure they send you a bill. I had a appointment back in May of last year and never received a bill from them. I received a bill 8 months later from collections!! It was for collections for charges/services I never was told I was getting or being charged for.

They have a FEW outstanding staff members that I would/and have trusted my life to, however, having said that dont expect to get medication, help, water, or anything else in a timely manner. Depending on the person and if they get busy, which they ALWAYS are, you will be lucky to see a nurse 1 - 2 times during their shift. On the whole, I believe they mean well but are dangerously understaffed. It seems that every nurse I had over a 5 month period (4 separate admits) was working as fast as they could but was still unable to stop long enough to catch their breath or even double check that nothing was overlooked or if a patient needed something. Personally I felt sorry for them, though most have resigned themselves to thats just the way it is. ....very sad.In my opinion caregivers are getting the care drained out of them. 😥
