You’re better off just going ahead and running the gambit on death rather than going into the ER here, at the rates they were charging I’d seriously just stitch myself if I needed sutures. The doctor and nurses were great, but by my best guess the doctor was billing out at $15,000 an hour for his time and the hospital charged around $5000 in addition for a small cup of antacid and an ecg. Financial help will give you the runaround like you wouldn’t believe as well. Seems kinda like a rook, though not sure which hospital isn’t set up to take you for all you’re worth anymore.

Completely disappointed and angry! After visiting the ER, I received a called stating there had been a mixup with my culture. If I was interested in knowing my results to come back and have done again. After all the uncomfortable that it was, I would have to go through it again. Due to their mistake!!! My daughter went in for a covid last night and they told me they would her results within a couple hours. We went home and the next day around 1 I decided to look up her results since I never got a call. I was told I could find it on MyChart and I didn’t find them on there so I decided to give them a call. I called and someone answered and in the middle of me talking they go “one moment” and transfer me to someone’s else. After being on hold, someone else answered and asks what I need. I was then told they are not allowed to give results over the phone and that I needed to contact medical records. I get transferred to medical records and they try telling me I need to sign a release form and mail it to them. I JUST NEEDED COVID RESULTS I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN HOURS AGO. I hang up and decided to call my daughters primary care provider which is through providence ( a completely different organization) and see if they were able to help me. Within 5 minutes they were able to get her results up on my chart and she was super empathetic and helpful. I understand right now is a very difficult time for healthcare workers and I’d hate to sound like a “Karen” but seriously Swedish, DO BETTER.

Went in for covid test and chest exrays as I was having issues breathing. I was told by a doctor that works for kaiser that they should do chest exray and give appropriate treatment based off of the exray. I was tested for covid which was positive then I was sent home and told they were not a real hospital and I could be out of quarantine on the 8th of September. I was never exrayed or check out properly. They didnt even listen to my chest with a stethoscope. My friend that is a real doctor said he was appalled and sorry at the lack of care that I received and told me at kaiser they dont treat there patients like they do at sweedish. I will never go back and I will not pay whatever bill they send me. They need a 0 star review

When she rudely told me she can’t give that out I said “okay I think I’ll just come in a different day” literally crying balling my eyes out. All I hear her say to her coworker is “Okay just hang up” they don’t care about you nor anyone else. Rudest staff ever. If you want to be scolded at for being in pain come to this hospital.

I really really shocked to see that there are many negative reviews. this is a review for Swedish mill creek primary care labs and imaging.I am specifically happy that I chooses Swedish and I would recommend Dr. Safai for the primary care provider. She is so kind. I can talk with her in Farsi and she ordered me labs for my routine checkups. She ordered me a specialist for my left knee pain along with physical therapy and other testings. I did an X-ray in august 15 and mri on august 29. The technician is so friendly.I would recommend their facility. In my end, I payed Cheaper because the provider is in network and my insurance covered this facility. I did not have to pay a lot.

If youre having a life threatening emergency go elsewhere! I guess breathing isnt very important because they prioritize stitches over an asthma attack. You wont see the doctor for an hour and if you have a second attack it will take 20+ minutes for a single breathing treatment! Its like breathing through a bendy straw for 20 min. Dont count on seeing the nurse and when she came back in for the first time after 3 pages for the second attack (20 min after the first page) the first thing she said was ok, we need to take it down a notch in here.

I went in about 5 weeks ago not knowing my condition was actually fatal. I was seen within 10-20 minutes after checking in. Then the nurse that took me in, tended to me throughout my stay and was so nice to me. They started running so many different tests back to back for about 2 hours in total for all the symptoms in gave. I was very pleased with the wait time because they did everything in a quick timely manner. Glad I went in because they were able to determine what was wrong and I ended having to be admitted back in to the hospital after being discharged for a week after having my baby. I would definitely recommend their care. Great staff from the nurses, to the technicians, and doctors.

Took my boyfriend here last night for severe abdominal pain and after finding that his white blood cell count was up, which is a sign of infection, they concluded that he was just constipated and sent him home. We are now at another hospital not even 5 hours later because he is now vomiting and his “constipation pain” won’t even allow him to stand up straight. Also at the hospital we are at now the nurse stated that the mill creek Swedish campus is terrible. Wouldn’t recommend if you actually have an emergency and want an accurate diagnosis from doctors that will do any and all testing to figure out the problem. Didn’t even offer him a blanket while he was lying in the bed or put him in a gown. Will not be back.

The nurse and doctor were both above board and were able to fix my issue temporarily. Just note - this is an ER and not a surgery center. If you need surgery, go to the big hospital, not the primary care ER in Mill Creek. For non-surgery things, Id recommend them again for sure. Thank you for your help, S-MC!

This was the BEST emergency room I have ever been to. My wife and I arrived just after 12:30 pm and within a matter of moments before I even finished signing in there was a nurse waiting to take me back. The care and prompt service was exceptional. Each step was clearly explained in terms we could understand. As soon as the staff knew I needed a CT scan I was on my way to have it done. I would highly recommend this facility. I have several health issues that send me to the emergency room on a regular basis, this is the top of the line emergency facility. It may not be a level 1 trauma unit but it is exceptional for all other emergency needs. Will make it a priority to return with any emergency needs for my family. Thanks for the great care.

I am honestly blown away by the fact that this location is still in service. The employees do not care about your condition and they go the extra mile to MAKE IT KNOWN. From the moment they “greet” you, to the moment they “care” for you, these people show such a lack of respect and concern for their patients. I am extremely dissatisfied not only with their service, also with their attitudes and ethic. Doctors are supposed to be people who like doing what they’re doing.. Doctors are supposed to be people who enjoy helping other people, who actually show some sort of interest towards that or at least the slightest bit of interest towards a patients issues and/or concerns. Theoretically, doctors would want patients to get better. Definitely does not fit the companies image that they try to represent, and they definitely do not hold up to good standards in the healthcare industry. I only leave them one star since it’s required in order to leave a review.

CONSUMER BEWARE!!! $$$$$ A real money pit! Basically just know that when your insurance says theyll cover the hospital care here its only the hospital itself & not some of the Doctors services that automatically come in and assist are covered. They will run one test after another just to drive up your bill as well, using scare tactics. I found out, after the fact, that some of the service providers, like in the lab Drs, that work in the hospital are not covered by (Aetna) my usually really good insurance even though the hospital itself was covered. 3 out of 4 claims denied because of provider ( / Dr.) is out-of-network. $8500.00+ For 6 hours of care only to be told I probably pulled some muscles. And if something serious would have been wrong this is not an actual hospital for overnight care which means I would have had an ambulance ride to stay overnight somewhere else for something that requires real hospital care. What a rude awakening and wake up call! Oh and as far as the service itself- mediocre when someone was around & not too busy, even though there was hardly anyone there during their slow time. Im giving it 2 stars because the young doctor and nurse were really nice (but not much help) when I did see them the few times I saw them. I suppose I should give the nurse a break because he was telling me he was in the middle of a lawsuit that started out just like what I came in for and that person hit their head on the hospital toilet when they passed out and he was their attending nurse (just 1 of the scare tactics mentioned). Ugh- if I only knew what I know now.

I have diabetes and my Grandmother died of heart complications from diabetes, and my heart rate was elevated even when I tried to sleep at night, so I just wanted to make sure I was not having a heart attach or something. i did a quick search, and found The Mill Creek Swedish clinic was open and near me .Long story short, I was there for like 20 minutes and it costs about 4500. They barely touched me, and made me feel stupid for even coming in, and yet thought they needed to bilk me for everything I had.I wrote two letters of appeal for a discounted bill, not so much because I couldnt pay it, but because of the injustice of it. Is this what our healthcare system as become? They did one blood test, listened to my heart, hooked me up to an EKG for 2 minutes, and that was it. 4500 dollars and 15 minutes later.....I was out. OMG. After they refused to lower my bill at all, I paid the whole thing...the entire amount on the account, but I just received a letter today....apparently THEY DID NOT QUITE BILK ME ENOUGH! Somehow, 92 dollars was left in there, so instead of writing to me about that....THEY SENT IT TO A CREDIT AGENCY, even though I paid the bulk of the bill in good time....I could have paid 50 a month for months, but I paid it off in one chunk...the whole amount, but that was not good enough.Absolutely horrible. avoid at all costs. At that point I REALLY couldnt breathe and I started yelling for help because access to a call button wasnt provided to my bedside. I had multiple medical staff walk past me, look at me and continue walking. At one point my mother in law went out and started searching for someone. A guy came in and told me Ill tell your nurse he walked out and I never saw him or my nurse again. I started losing my coloring, labored breathing and STILL nobody would respond. After almost 20 min of begging and yelling for help I was finally provided with pain relief and oxygen. The complete negligence I experienced was/is uncalled for. What if I suffered cardiac arrest or completely stopped breathing altogether? The staff were incredibly RUDE to me as well, non sympathetic to my being in severe pain and labored breathing. Something bad could have ended up happening to me and I was seriously treated like I was a drug seeking mental basket case who was just randomly yelling for no reason. Completely unacceptable, terrible patient care.

Dont be seen here. The doctor that I liked and was seeing left here and now I think I know why. Saw another doc here for joint pain and I dont think he even came in contact with me once during the exam and has left me in severe pain while referring me to a specialist. Cant wait to get in there so I can be treated by an actual doctor. I understand that a Family Practice phys. will not always be able to diagnose you but they can at least deal with the persons condition to the point that they can. Quack.

I went in Yestersay, because my PCP told me to do so and she believes I was having a reaction beyond normal to antibiotics I am taking, the nurse comes in and asks me questions and as I’m trying to explain she gets irritated with me (the staff are stuck up and rude) accept the ladies at the front desk , they were professionally nice. I was seen by Dr Doiche(or however you spell his name) and he did not do anything but look in my mouth ..: I was shocked after I explained my symptoms when all they did was check my blood pressure, weight and height ... aside from looking in my mouth . They were not busy what so ever ... I was litterly the only patient back there perhaps now I see why . I would strongly advise not going here because it’s a waste of time and money . I am now having to go to a different hospital with symptoms that are now different and worse than what they were ... Lab should have been done ...Thanks for disregarding and neglecting my concerns .

Do not go to this hospital after 6pm! They must do shift bids there. My vitals were taken by a new nurse trainee, and I mean new. He thought the blood pressure cuff was a tourniquet, cut the circulation in my arm off so bad the capillaries in my arm and hand ruptured. My arm was dark purple and was deeply painful. The so-called training nurse paid no attention (had her back to me) when I complained, told me to be patient without even turning around. The trainee was then directed to insert a needle to draw blood. Won’t go into how awful that was, I have the deep bruises to prove it. A phlebotomist finally came in and did the job right. There are some good folks there, I’m sure. The phlebotomist, the doctor to name two. Still have the bruises and the broken capillaries and it’s been several days...

My PCPs office sent me here on a Saturday. They were concerned my sinus infection they were treating me for wasnt clearing up and getting worse. Fantastic staff. 1 ER MD, 2 PAs, 2 nurses 1 radiologist & 1 radiologist tech. They were amazing. Treated me promptly and with the utmost respect. A bit too much medication to kill the pain but I guess I needed it to lay flat for the CAT scan. Antibiotics changed and sent home with my preference a non opioid pain medication for home. Highly recommend.

The only reason I would give it a 1 star is the front desk ladies were incredibly fast and down to earth. On the other hand the Dr. That saw me wrote a garbage dr. note that basically came across like screw this guy for wasting our time... oh btw... it was a note I needed for the military.... and they dont like fishy doctors notes. And it was very poorly written. (Where these people get their education) So imagine explaining that to the leadership.

Charge nurse at the ER was VERY rude. I called to check on a client of mine who was taken to the emergency room. Whenever a client is transported we send an emergency packet that has consents to release information. She refused to tell me anything until a second set of consents was sent. I appreciate the adherence to HIPAA standards as I also am cognizant of this at work daily, but there is not reason to be rude and dismissive.I always cringe when I hear that a client was transported here instead of Providence.

I have been to every emergency room in Seattle with different people. This is one of the little known best places I have seen. They had the patient in the room immediately even before they got all the info and the nurse had permission to put them on a nebulizer for breathing even before the doctor got in there. Multiple people were in attendance getting info and working together. The PT or respiratory person (not sure which) who was waling patient down the hall with a monitor took a cup in case urine was needed to avoid a second trip down the hall. This particular month I was there 3 times with various people and myself (my first time in ER except for a broken wrist) they are extremely good. But the working relationship they have with each other and the permission staff have to do things ahead blew me away. This is the way an ER should be run. Due to the fact it is not well known it was not over crowded and we were in and out quickly but they have all the equipment needed for treatment. Also have computer access to med records if you are a poly clinic patient and I assume swedish.

We went here last night after my neice who was visiting hurt her arm roller blading. No lines, we waited maybe 5 minutes in the waiting room and even once we had a room everything was done so quickly, we where in and out in under an hour. However I want to thank one nurse, Rene. She was so fantastic and kind to my neice. She really calmed all of us down and even made her giggle. Rene was professional and had the single most amazing bedside manner I have ever witnessed in a hospital setting. You will be lucky to have her on your team should you need to visit here. Thank you, Rene.

Was in this facility this weekend and have never been treated worse by hospital staff. The nurse who checked me in after the paramedics was so cold and could have cared less about my situation and she treated me like a peice of garbage. The doctor however was very nice after he ran a cat-scan and some other tests and found something WAS actually wrong, unlike what the nurse may have assumed. Would not recommend going there unless you have a broken limb protruding out of your body that they can actually see. Very uncaring and disappointing. Zero stars

My boyfriend went there because he has the flu and is diabetic and they denied him because they don’t like his insurance. Are you serious you’re an emergency room?! Get real! Don’t bother coming here they’d rather see you die than them go without money. Providence is much much more accepting and friendly, sad when you have to say that about an emergency room.

I went into the hospital due to a concussion and told them multiple time that there was chemicals that I had in my mouth but it was washed out, that I never drank it. They told me that they needed to draw blood due to the chemicals and I said no beacause I didnt drink anything and that I had a huge phobia of needles. I asked if they could wait for my mom to get there and they had my boyfriend leave the room and had security push him into the lobby while 8 nurses and security held me down on the floor and sat on me and forcably put me on to the bed where they pinned me down from all sides twisted my wrist and had the nurse named Phil put his forearm on my neck using all his weight to choke me while they put a needle into me WITHOUT ANY consent, I tried everything I could to get him off of my neck and in the process accidentally scratched a nurse while I frantically begged them to let me go and stop. I couldnt breathe at all and it was the most terrifying experience of my life making my phobia of needles 10 times worse. They had asked my boyfriend to leave the room so they could assult me. Then after they took my blood they left me in the room alone screaming and crying from my panic attacks so I tried to have my mom or boyfriend come in because I needed someone there for me that I wasnt terrified of and so I asked the desk lady if she could have them come down when she said no they all tackled me again saying I was trying to leave with me screaming that I wasnt trying to leave I just wanted my mom, they then started ripping off my gown and putting their hands on my bare butt and legs ripping off the shoulder part so my breasts were exposed all while the same guy that choked me earlier put me in a head lock and made me gasp for air and almost made me pass out from lack of oxegen when my mom came in and then he let go of my throat but continued to put me on the ground when my mom saw she said what the hell are you guys doing and ripped them off of me but continued to treat me terribly. I will never be returning there and nobody should. I will be filing a lawsuit.

I came in an ambulance, and this was the rudest, least responsive emergency room staff that I have ever encountered. The nurse refused to give me shots in my right arm (Im left-handed) because she already put it as left arm in the computer. I was treated for a huge, very deep cut, and she also refused to give me tylenol because she already checked me out in the computer. So I left with literally no pain medication at all despite 7 shots and 6 stitches, no verbal information on how to care for the wound (just a generic handout), and no information about whether I should return to have the stitches removed or not. She also didnt even tell me that I was checked out, I was just standing in the room waiting to sign papers or something, and she returned a few minutes later and was just like oh, you need to leave. Just absolutely ridiculously lacking in bedside manner as well as any sort of communication or information. Oh, did I mention that they stitched me up, THEN did x-rays, then decided there was still glass in the cut, so they re-opened the stitches to dig around in the cut. Then they werent able to find whatever showed up on the x-rays, so they just stitched me back up and told me to see a podiatrist...

This place is just awful, from the MDs to the Social Workers. I wasnt feeling well mentally and instead taking my life I was told to go to the ER. Yeah OK. I did big mistake. I was told by the MD that I was cleared to go home and he said to me that it wasnt like I was going to jump off a bridge or something. That was very rude. I felt worse when I left the ED then when I came in. What the hell. The social worker was even worse telling me basically I needed to get help some place else and sent me home. Im so glad that there are professionals who really dont give a sh** about anything but making money. Please do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to get taken care of. I have been to this emergency room multiple times over this past year and I’m shocked by all the bad reviews! Most recently was there this past Saturday with my son who was extremely ill. They had us back in a room before we had even finished checking in - Ran a rapid flu test and did a chest X-ray, gave my son his first dose of antibiotic and we were out of there in about an hour! As a mom, the worst thing is sitting in a busy emergency room waiting room with your sick child- I’ve never had to wait longer than 10 minutes to see a Dr., everyone is always extremely kind and professional. I drive from Everett to Swedish just to avoid going to Providence. Now THAT hospital is a joke. This Swedish isn’t a trauma center, so if you’re having a serious medical issue I would go elsewhere, but for everything else come here!

Had a miscarriage. Stupidly declined painkillers from ObGyn. Went to this place, and was given an invasive pelvic just for shits and giggles. Received no pain medication before or after being violated. Had miscarriage at this ER the night before. My husband has to drive a long way to a 24 hour pharmacy to fill prescription for painkillers. Took taxi to and from house to ER because 15 month old daughter was throwing up, and husband was taking care of her at home. I understand liability, but jesus h Christ, I have just been through the trauma of losing a baby, I am in the worst physical pain ever, and then had to wait more hours to receive relief. So, while I agree this place will see you fast, and if you dont need pain relief, sure go here, but if you are a poor woman who ends up tragically living my experience, I strongly suggest you consider treatment at another facility. When a patient shows you the taxi receipt that is time stamped, they probably can be trusted that they actually took a taxi to the ER.

For Bandaides & Sprains ONLY....This review goes to NO other Swedish facility. Ive been to two others & hold them in the highest regards. But this one is for maybe the locals? Because if you come from the other side of the freeway or farther north you get treated differently. How so?... a smirk, a jab in the back of the throat with the thermometer, a social comment about your health insurance, and a big ol sign that basically says if u dont like it leave. And i did! Very agitated with virtually no medical direction. The Nurse couldnt take her eyes off her monitor said my medical condition was about choices. I called her a few as i dressed as quickly as i could. Amazing, she took away my pain. Unfortunately i was in serious need of medical care and when i finally arrived at another Swedish facility they recognized my condition, treated me with the respect & dignity anyone seriously ill deserves. They saved my life. This other place in mill creek? You need a social resume these days. This was the worst & potentially dangerous so called care i ever received. Clean house!

Ive been to this ER for kidney stones 3 times now. Each time Ive been treated with no empathy and no respect. This round was even worse. I am on extended release pain meds for other health issues that Ive been dealing with nearly my entire life. The nurse and Dr decided to try and give me a lecture about pain meds while I was in the middle of the pain. I couldnt believe they were seriously treating me like a drug addict. Unreal how they apparently are so concerned with someones use in drugs because they care about them but they have no problem watching live in the worst pain someone can go through. This staff ER is a joke. Most nurses as ass holes to call a spade a spade. They shouldnt be nurses in the ER if they apparently have no ounce of empathy in their blood and the last thing they want to do is actually provide help. I wont even get into how long they let me sit in pain in a room on my own and how long it took to get a ct scan. Avoid this ER like the plague. Go to Evergreen instead.
