Communication seems to be a real issue. My glasses took two months to get here and they messed up the order.I tried to get a food allergy test and the doctor didn’t care to look past looking up my nose and talked me out of it.Trying to get a covid test I was on hold for 30 minutes because it had to be ordered. I got through and they said they would have to put me on hold and they didn’t know how long it would be. Or I could schedule myself, the option for scheduling an appointment did not show up at my location. So I had to call them back to be on hold for another hour because the front desk did not know how to navigate the system. After being on hold they couldn’t figure it out, so they put me on hold again only to come back and tell me I couldn’t get tested at the place I was at (where they have been testing people that day)The rumors I heard about Kaiser is that they sucked and I was willing to look past it. But if you are looking for good care go somewhere else.

Do not go to Lynwood. The male nurse from Germany is lazy and lackluster.

Kiazer is a terrible insurance provider. I have been with Kiazer in the past and again starting this year. The doctor I am assigned to is never available for an apt. I have yet to be scheduled for an in person visit with any provider at multiple locations here in Washington. I am always offered phone or virtual which the doctor cannot perform an evaluation over the phone. When I did visit the emergency room for an auto accident they blew me off saying I could walk fine and that I just need to take pain killers and muscles relaxers and I’ll be fine in a couple weeks. This company is garbage!

I have been working with Megan Herrenkohl for grief therapy / general counseling and she has been truly amazing. In over a year with her, Ive never felt judged. Shes an amazing listener, helps you work through pain, and teaches you how to not only cope but also how to overcome your anxieties (via EMDR and other tools that you can do yourself). Shes compassionate, caring, and extremely knowledgeable in her field. Cant recommend her enough. In 2018, I sat in on a 6 week group course, on CBT/ depression & anxiety, taught by Amy Eskelsen. I wish this stuff was taught in high school, haha! Super valuable life skills for anyone and everyone. Amy made things simple; she was patient, kind, compassionate, and fun to learn from. Great experience, also highly recommended.

Im grateful to the people who staff kaiser permanente for putting themselves on the front lines every time they go to work. Theyve limited access to the clinic to people who have made prior appointments, but other than that, they are providing the same quality care they always have. Just recently I noticed something that Im really a fan of. The Kaiser Permanente facility in Everett has a full repair station at its bicycle parking area. It might just be me, but I have the worst luck at Kaiser. Pre-covid I would find myself waiting nearly 2 hours prior to being seen by an actual doctor for a wellness check. Today I was at the facility and had to wait for almost 3 hours and I was taken into a room where I waited an additional hour prior to seeing anyone. At check in I was quoted a 25 minute wait and it was two hours before I was acknowledged. I even had an appointment. Needless to say I am incredibly disappointed with the quality of service that kaiser has provided me with.I am well aware that covid exists that that wait times may be longer. But if I schedule an appointment Id like to be seen as close as possible to that time frame, not 4 hours later

My daughter was released from the NICU and still need to go in for daily test until her numbers were safe. We went in and everything seem to go well. We got the results back in a decent amount of time. The numbers were high still, so we needed to return the next day and run the same test to ensure her numbers were going down. They drew her blood at 9 in the morning and we went home. Six hours went by and we still had not heard anything. We decided to call and getting a hold of anyone was a bit of a hassle. We then received a phone call from our pediatricians medical assistant to let us know that the results were still pending. We did receive a phone call from our pediatrician informing us that the labs equipment was not running appropriately and that we didn’t need to run to the emergency room to run a test stat. She also informed us that the results from the previous day may also not be accurate because of the malfunction of the Laboratories machines. No I don’t know about you but I would want a little bit more faith when it comes to the life of my children.

I was a patient of Dr. Megan Gary (a psychiatrist) in 2017. Kaiser Permanente was acutely aware that I was a Social Security Disability applicant. When it came time for a Mental health functioning report to be filled out BY MY DOCTOR, Dr. Gary decided that she wasnt qualified, she said she had been burned too many times filling out papers for people. I didnt know what that meant but she REFUSED to sign or fill out proper paperwork neccessary to complete my claim for benefits. I lost my claim. Lost the disability income I was entitled to for working, its lost forever.Because Kaiser Permanente hires contracted doctors I must go after Dr. Gary in court by suing her. Kaiser Permanente accepts no responsibility whatsoever, their doctors are free to do or not do as they please. Its not right that my family financially suffers because of a doctors dereliction of duty. So, if youre reading this and are a patient of Kaiser Permanente, you better hope you dont need disability benefits...

Once AGAIN changing my review to an even worse Star rating. Ever since Ive gotten pregnant the level of care Ive gotten has gone down the drain. Which makes no sense because you would think they would be making sure youre being taken care of even better. They do everything they can to not have to deal with your concerns or questions & just pass you along to anyone else but them. Which I dont get because you guys are my PRIMARY CARE. I had an appointment today & they canceled it & told me to go somewhere else. Which then those people said made no sense since Kaiser is where my primary doctor & care are & that they cant do anything for me until Im 28 weeks pregnant & I need to keep going to Kaiser for my concerns until then. Whatever happens between now & three weeks from now (which is when Ill be seen by my doctor again) I PRAY is nothing serious. You guys seriously need to get it together. Its sad & I cant wait for open enrollment to come around so I can switch to a different clinic. I dont even want anyone from customer service contacting me Im so done with going back & forth over the phone with people. Every single person my wife and I have dealt with from customer service in IT when I needed to reset my online password to the patient care representatives at the desks at check in, the pharmacy, the lab, the nurses when I was in hospital for 4 days following surgery felt like family! And the the doctors. I can’t say enough for all the concern I felt from each and every one of them. I recently have been through a pretty huge medical issue that put a stop to my life for 3 months plus and still healing. I have care teams that I can reach out to for anything when my medical issues continue spiking different symptoms. I was sent to their care clinic in silver lake by the advising nurse when I got there that dr. Called the nurse I talked to an idiot because at the care clinic they have no internal imaging so I got sent to the Maple St. Everett location (which is the one right down the road from my house). When I got there still in horrendous pain and finally got into a room I was told there was nothing they could do either because they dont have a Dr scan machine. Also the front desk person looked up my call with the advising nurse that nurse entered in that I had a cold, but clearly my answers to her questions did not match that diagnosis at all. So I was sent to the ER they got the pain under control and said I need to be seen by my dr in the next 24 hours. The er was not sure what was causing the pain but said it could be a red flag for a lot of different ailments that werent showing in my tests yet. Call Kaiser they wont get me in until 5 days later. So for 5 days I have to worry about what could happen. I have a feeling ill be receiving bills for both Kaiser visits where they literally did nothing and Im definitely not paying a some.

Something about attitudes and learning how to do your job properly will be more helpful in accessing people’s health. For example, I told the MA that my BP is not best measured with the Large cuff because it is inaccurate... my B/P is normal 124/84 ish and her reading on the wrong cuff was 104/60 something... highly inaccurate. While the slight difference may not matter at the end of the day, it matters for someone on B/P medication! You decide. They use Physicians Assistants who diagnose people incorrectly, and as a result, force you to return, sometimes 2 or 3 times, all while they are enjoying profiting off of your additional co-payments. They stopped using cash, so if you need your meds and are cash only, youre gonna have to use another pharmacy. Keep in mind that many of their plans are not accepted by outside pharmacies, and they probably made it this way on purpose. They are visibly inconvenienced when you dont use your group number when calling or going in for services. Their scheduling is horrible. Dont plan on being able to get into a your own physician, or a specialist for months. Then they will attempt to refer you to a Physicians Assistant in place of an MD, and then expect to get ripped off for multiple co-payments, as I stated above. If you are pregnant, plan on being sent to a Group Health facility 30 miles away from where you live, and expect them to refuse to pay for you to see a local non-Group Health physician that uses the local non-Group Health hospital where you reside. The doctors they have are mostly mediocre, but they do have one or two good ones. Pity that they arent working for someone else. The Urgent Care nurses at this facility often minimize the urgency of situations, skirt needed treatments, and only do what is minimally necessary. They have decided that the childrens play areas are not aesthetically pleasing to their decor, so they have decided to remove those. Take your ticket at the pharmacy and expect to wait about 1-2 hours total in the lobby, eventually get called up, and then told to sit back down and wait another hour while your prescription is filled. Have a note written on your account, and have to explain to each and every representative that same note that they should have checked, when you came in for treatment. Fyi, were going to be getting rid of them.

Everything is managed care these days and that hasnt really proven particularly beneficial to patients. I grew up being a patient of Group Health, which was recently purchased by Kaiser and found it to be a very eye opening difference when I reached adulthood, got my own insurance and used other healthcare. Dont get me wrong, healthcare in general has devolved into a pretty terrible experience but Kaiser is a standout in a pretty significant worst-of-the-worst competition. One standout annoyance is their in-house pharmacies. I was amazed as an adult to realize that my doctor could call my prescriptions into Walgreens and I could just pull up to a drive-up window and get it in under three minutes. At Group Health/Kaiser, you can be on site seeing a doctor, have the doc send a Rx straight to the in-house pharmacy via computer, walk to the pharmacy and take a number, wait 10-40 minutes to have your number called, walk up to the counter and have the pharmacy tech look at their computer to confirm that the prescription was actually sent to them and then be sent to sit and wait another 10-40 minutes for the to call you back up to finally get the Rx. Re-freaking-diculous! They seem to be hiring their pharmacy techs straight our of DMV castoffs as well. Ive received more notably rude customer service from the Kaiser pharmacy than from any other single entity. To be fair, the service seems to have come up a bit since Kaiser took over but I still see techs whom Ive had past run-ins with glaring at me when Im there picking up prescriptions for my parents. My Dad is a military vet, retired civil servant and Alzheimers patient and Group Health was his only option. My mom is a retired school teacher with severe dementia/brain damage and I care for them. It is a daily fight just to get basic care for them and getting a service like a worker to come by once or twice a week to perform a visual health analysis and help them bathe has been 100% impossible. We did manage to get that help for a one month period after a particularly significant health scare with my mom and what it turned into was me getting almost daily calls at work bugging me about one thing or another. It felt like they were trying to justify their existence with observations and recommendations and they didnt care that i was trying to work. It was extremely frustrating. The standout are their doctors. For the most part, Ive been very pleased with the doctors who have cared for my parents and the nurses who work with them.Sadly, theyre great people stuck in a bad system. I think a lot of them flee at the first opportunity. I know I never had the same doctor for more than a couple of years at a time as a kid and I think my dad has had to change doctors at least a couple of times since Ive been caring for him and my mom because people have left. My bottom line is that you should avoid this place if possible. Its not worth the aggravation or cost. We cant even renew prescriptions that should just auto refill until a few days before my parents are completely out. My healthcare provider sends me three months at a time and theyre usually there a couple of weeks before I run out. My parents only get one month and you cant even request a refill until you have less than a week left.

I cant describe the amount of hatred I have for this place and the pharmacy. It shouldnt take almost an hour after I got there to get my prescription ready especially with as many people as they have working there. They need to get with it & come up with some new systems. Unfortunately I had to switch insurance companies & start going here. My old pharmacy would text me when my rx was ready & I could be in & out in less than 10 minutes. Update the technology please. I know a lot of elders go here but still. My grandmother is 80 some years old & she texts & goes on Facebook. Get it together grouphealth

Kaiser Permanente collected my $1343.62 in premiums from 3/1/19, but did not open my membership until 4/17/19. How do they get away with stealing my money for 7 weeks of coverage without actually providing it?

I am so dissatisfied with Group Health. The closest location to my house to fill prescriptions on evening weekends is over 30 miles away from my house. Yesterday after spending the afternoon at the walk in clinic in Mill Creek for treatment of a migraine, my doctor wanted to fill a prescription in case my headache got worse during the night. The closest location to fill the prescription was the Rite Aid in Marysville, over 30 miles from my house. Does that seem appropriate that my only choice is to either pay for the medication out of pocket or drive 30 miles with a migraine? Group Health needs to offer better pharmacy solutions that that. Also, when I called customer service to ask for assistance in order to locate a phone number for the Everett GH pharmacy, the customer service person couldnt locate the phone number and told me to look on the website! Extremely disappointing.

The prescription Doctor Authorization process needs a major revamping. I have a long drive and I have to make multiple trips at 30+ miles each time. It takes multiple days to get pain meds and Ive needed to wait several days because the paperwork hard copy is IN THE MAIL !!!!! GH needs to do better than a snail mail system !!!! Christ, I can purchase a $500k house with electronic signatures, legal across the whole Country, but a GHC Doctor in the local area cannot use an electronic signature so a patient can get reasonable service, care, and the pain meds needed ? !! Common GHC, you can do better than the dark ages... !!!

Its sad to read some of the negative reviews because our family has had been with the PAs and MDs here and at other Group Health locations for the last 15 years. Not to say we havent had to wait or switched doctors that were not a good fit but I think that occurs at any medical facility. Not all doctors and patients mesh so its up to the patient to be proactive and find that fit instead of criticizing an entire institution over a bad experience.

I have been going to the Bellevue medical center group health for a few years now. I was so disappointed in their doctors lack of knowlage and huge waits to see doctors. I was happy to be transferring to the Everett location when I moved out of Bellevue to Arlington. Well they turned out to be the same. Waiting a month or more to see a new pt. therapist for an injury I was seen for in Bellevue. To than go backwards in my progress in my recovery. I also wait 2 hours to pick up a refill proscription!!!!! the worst are their scheduling team. I called to get an appointment to see a obgyn due to sever pain. They have no medical background so they told me I would have to wait 3 weeks to get in. I ended up in the emergency room at providence hospital in emergency surgery. I was bleeding internally and i Almost died!!!!!! So now I call group health. Group death!!

Staffed by pirates, and sales sharks. kaiser insurance doesnt cover even a minute visit to any of their own locations. incompetent staff, no diagnosis ended up with a very large bill that should be covered by everything laid out in kaiser insurance information, but none of them are willing to work with me, hands down THE WORST. also I got the flu from their office

The doctors (or most of them) at the Everett and Lynnwood Group Health will not diagnose you, or will do so incorrectly. If they dont know whats wrong with you, they will bullshit you. After a few years at Group Health and no progress whatsoever, I switched to a different clinic and I immediately received REAL care. Group Health doctors do not care about or for their patients, they became doctors for two reasons, money and ego.
