I would highly recommend Shawna to any puppy or adult dog owners! For the first 7 months of having our first puppy, I read and watched fair amount of dog training books and videos, thought I had my pandemic puppy well trained and dont need a trainer. I was wrong! Those only sustained me through the first 6 months. When the puppy transitions into its adolescent phase, I encountered many challenges that I did not observe before and would like to address. I needed affirmation and correct ways to train immediately. Shawna was professional, prompt, and very pleasant to work with. She recommended the best approach (social walk club) and guided me through most economical way to continue my adolescent puppys training. The program is so worth it with many customized tips and tricks.My puppy is so happy to be on the weekly social walk club program. Love his new friends and Shawna! I can see his steady improvements over just 4 visits!

We recently adopted our dog and noticed some behavior issues resulting from previous abuse. The rescue organization recommended that we contact Shawna for advice. I told Shawna the problems we were experiencing and she gave me some suggestions over the phone. We set up an appointment for her to meet our new dog and evaluate the situation. After our first meeting it was clear that she could help us. She was able to identify the cause of the behavior we were dealing with and gave us effective tips to help us deal with his triggers and build his confidence so that he could feel safe. The training sessions that we have had so far have shown remarkable results. Our dog is more relaxed and looks forward to his training every day. He is happy to show off his skills to Shawna at his next session with her. Shawna has a very common sense approach to training and her advise if followed provides an opportunity for any dog to be successful. My wife and I believe in giving rescue dogs a home whenever possible and if we adopt another dog in the future Shawna will be the first call we make to help us navigate the unknown of our new pets history. I cannot say enough good things about our experience dealing with her.

Shawna had a class in Portland this weekend May 20-22 Diesel and I attended. I want to Thank Shawna for an awesome experience I cant wait for her to come back. Shawna has given us some things to work on and I actually have hope to be able to walk Diesel during the day instead of only at 5 am.
