I am so happy I found Sunrise Dental. I moved here with my family a couple years ago and was concerned about finding a new dentist. Dr. Chin and the entire staff at Sunrise are truly wonderful! They were so inviting and addressed any concerns I had.

I was referred by a friend, and Im happy I went to Sunshine Dental. Dr Chin and his staff were welcoming and efficent and thorough. They explained everything well which helped my comfort level since I have been looking for a dental provider since recently moving to Everett from out-of-state.

If I could give this place a negative star I would. I want to start by saying that Dr. Chin had been my dentist for 12 years. I had over $20,000.00 in permanent Porcelain Crowns done over several years. Since then, my permanent Crowns have three times come out when flossing, (and always on a Friday) Two weeks ago my permanent Crown fell out again while flossing. On Monday I reached out to Dr. Chins office to help me out, as this was an emergency being a front tooth. I was told by the Office Manager, Brittany (and I use the term Manager loosely) that they were booked and that I they couldnt help me out for at least three (3) days... are you kidding me ??? This was an emergent situation. I would have waited until the end of the day and come back after hours. But Sunrise Dental and Dr. Chin already had my money my money in hand and obviously doesnt warranty his work for permanent Porcelain Crowns. I understand that sometimes this will happen, but three (3) times ??? Also was told once that I should just super glue it back in myself. If I wanted dentures I would have gotten them... The lack of empathy and professionalism by Dr. Chin and his Staff is sickening. As a patient of more than a decade, I would think that the amount of money I have spent and the work I have done under his care would mean something. It obviously doesnt. Taking my business and permanent Porcelain Crowns elsewhere to see if someone else can fix Dr. Chins work and my faith in the Dental field as a whole. Puppy mill anyone ???

I have been going to Sunrise Dental in Everett since 2013 and I love the people and the Dentist, Dr Chen. He is so very kind and always makes you feel so comfortable. He talks to you like youre his friend and not just a patient. I recommend him to anyone who needs a great Dentist!

Ive been a patient for 15 years. Every experience is wonderful. Dr Chin always tells you what he is about to do. Always professional and gentle and concerned about your comfort. The staff is always cheerful and helpful. My favorite part is that Dr Chin is an artist. I mean a real artist. And his artistic mind shows up in his work to help you look to look your best.

It was the best experience. The the gentleman dentist was very professional, kind and knowledgeable. I definitely have confidence in his work because he knows what he is doing. I feel great today and smiling largely. ☺

Very professional and punctual. Never had to wait past my appointment time. And when I got my wisdom teeth pulled (all 4 at one time), it was a easier than expected. I stayed awake for it and couldnt believe how painless it was. Recovery time was quick to! Really happy with Sunrise Dental so far.

Had an EXTREMELY traumatic experience with another dentist some years ago during an extraction which deeply impacted my comfort zone with dentists. I needed another extraction, and no matter how I refused part with my decaying wisdom tooth, it proved vital to be removed as I started having other issues because of it. Dr. Chin was AWESOME! Knowing the reasons behind my hesitation and anxiety, he was patient, understanding, and honest about the process. He said the extraction would take less than 5 minutes. We agreed to time it. He took 2-1/2 minutes! Dr. Chin only asked for a thumbs up, but he definitely deserves a fist bump, hug, and a sincere thank you, not only for being A GREAT DENTIST, but for just being a good person who respected the worries and concerns of another. Give them a chance, you wont be disappointed. God bless.

Dr. Chin has been the best Dentist for our family! His quality in dental care- all the while being personable and thoughtful is a rare find. It has made our visits comfortable and easy! We will always be coming back- even with a 30min drive.

I have been extremely scared of the dentist due to childhood dental trauma and because of this have put my dental care off for years. I had to come here for a dental emergency and the front staff went above and beyond to get my insurance lined up so I had the least amount to pay out of pocket. Dr Chin is so nice. He’s gentle and makes sure you are comfortable and know what’s going on every step of the way. Although I still don’t like getting dental work done it’s been a world of difference with how they treat me. They basically put up with me being a big baby and it has changed my outlook on dentists. Thank you so much to Dr Chin and all of the staff for caring about your patients so much.

I needed to find a dentist for a last minute appointment because of a tooth that had been bothering me. I came across Sunrise Dental through a Google search and booked an appointment online which was super convenient. Everyone in the office is incredibly friendly and make you feel comfortable throughout your visit. I ended up needing a root canal, and Dr. Chin was awesome, explained every step of the entire process (which I really appreciated), and I was in and out in about 40 minutes. I could not be happier with my experience and I am excited to have found a dentist, and dental office that I trust.

(My experience was not good with last dentist, she didnt explain anything just examined and gave me a year plan cost me about $6,000 not even clean my mouth, examined only)Im here for the first time for examining, they got my mouth clean and got back with a small kit with things to clean my mouth. Was totally nervous going due to my past dental experiences. Liked going here but very high reschedule fee of $85 dollars even on a family emergency, very unhappy read there policy very carefully I let them know 24 hours in advance for my family emergency and yet I still would have to pay the $85 dollars just to reschedule bummer I feel ripped off.

I am terrified of the Dentsit typically, but Sunrise has provided the best experience possible. They got me in right away, walked me through every step and had my problem solved within 24 hrs of my initial appointment. I am thankful for my Dentist, he is truly the best!

BEWARE. I saw Dr. Chin for a routine 6-mo cleaning when he was working at a different office (my normal dentist was unavailable). Ive never had a cavity in my life and this guy tried conning me into getting four cavities filled, a crown on a tooth I had a root canal on years ago, and a very expensive mouth guard. He recommended over $2000 worth of dental services to me like it was nothing. I was shocked so I got a 2nd opinion at a different dentist shortly after: zero cavities, no crown needed, and no teeth grinding. Its very clear this dentist cares about one thing: money over morals. Even the previous office he worked for told me he has questionable practices. Do not trust.

We had an easy time making appointments, both my husband and I being new patients. The staff and Dr. Lee were very friendly and professional. I had never seen such detailed photos of my teeth with such a thorough explanation of everything he saw. I am extremely pleased with our new dental office!

Ive been going to this dentist on and off for seven years now. In the beginning it was great and I dont know if that was because of my insurance or not. But over the past few years its been somewhat taxing. It seems like there is always something wrong with my teeth, which is strange because it was never like that before. For the most part the staff is pleasant and they do a decent job.

So happy to discover that Dr. Chin has returned - yea! :-)Yesterday was probably the last time that I will unfortunately see Dr. Chin and his associates due to my relocating out of state. I have now seen Dr. Chin and his associates since 2015, and have nothing but extremely good things to say about them. Since relocating up to Whatcom County five years ago, I have continued to make the hour-plus-long drive in order to see them, as I was unsuccessful with finding another dentist whom I liked as much up this way. Unlike other dentists whom I have seen in the past, Dr. Chin does not try to persuade one into receiving unnecessary dental procedures. I also like that I learn something new in terms of improving my own dental hygiene every time that I have seen him and his associates. I will, indeed, be very hard-pressed in finding a dentist whom I like as much when I do end up relocating out of state. Many, many thanks once again to you, Dr. Chin, your dental hygienists, and front-desk staff!

Haven’t been to the dentist in a long time. Was very nervous about my appointment, when I walked in the front desk girls seemed excited to see me with happy faces on! Yesterday, the assistant women didnt explain what they want to do for signing a paper.She just asked me to sign it for x-ray and she didnt tell me if free of charge for the x-ray.Beside that, she doesnt want to listen when I tried to tell her that I will throw up every time for x-ray. She just said sign it...sign it.Look like, she didnt professional when she did her job because she doesnt know how to explain what going to do or the procedure.

Ive been going to Sunrise Dental for close to two years now and would reccomend it to anyone! The front office staff is always very polite and organized.The dental assistants are all very friendly and offer nice conversation. Plus, you feel very comfortable with DR. Chin who has plenty of experience and a very soothing demeanor. Overall, the place is well kept with great customer service and awesome deals (teeth whitening for life)!

Dr. Chin is absolutely one of the best Dentist I have been to. Not only is he and his staff super nice but I love how informative he is while hes working on your teeth, making sure your comfortable throughout the whole session. On top of getting my teeth cleaned he also fixed a chipped tooth of mine and fixed some minor chips to the front of my teeth which now look absolutely perfect all thanks to Dr. Chin and his lovely helpers. I definitely recommend coming here and trusting them to take care of your teeth. One more thing to add, is great music everytime I come in, makes the atmosphere so much better and calming in my opinion =) Thank you Again Dr. Chin!

Dr. Chinn started out great. But toward the end my teeth were not holding up. He only guarantees his work 1 year, WHAT. 5yrs is the reasonable time but they should stand behind there work specially if a crown breaks before 2 years. The office staff is constantly changing. They do NO cosmetic or know anything about implants, bridges or any new procedures. I expressed my concern and they were not willing to keep me as a client, that says it all.I would not recommend!

I cant say anything bad about the dentist here because I didnt get past his rude scheduler. First of all they told us they had our records from our other dentist but when we got there the scheduler/front desk receptionist told us they didnt have our records and rudely said to handle it ourselves. Then she told us our kids scheduled cleanings were not cleanings at all but exams and we would have to come back for cleanings. I have never heard of them being a separate thing but ok we were there so fine we will deal with it today. When I said to schedule my appointment with a cleaning she said she could put in a request but its not guaranteed. What? I said I wanted to speak with the dentist she said I am in charge of scheduling so no you cant speak with him. So I said schedule me a cleaning. She again said the thing about requesting one. I said so you dont handle scheduling then.This was way too long of a review. Clearly angry.Long story short.Front desk scheduler was rude and unapologetic. We left and will have to search once again for a dentist whos staff isnt extremely rude.

Dr. Chin very rough..after he said had a miner cavity I ended up with very bad tooth ache and since dug so DEEP had to have a root canal. Needless to say never went back Got root canal done somewhere else. Assistance dont even know how to run x-ray machine.!No thank you. Bad experience for me

I have been going to Sunrise Dental of Everett since 2009. Dr. Chin hes a great dentist to see he takes his time to listen and explain what needs to be done also they take these really cool inter oral pictures of your teeth hat help explain why you need treatment

I am a new patient, first two appointments were a good experience overall. Dr. Chin is a very good dentist. He referred me to an endodontist to get a root canal retreat, which results for the crown to have to get replaced. After the treatment I’ve been trying to book an appointment for the past three weeks but no one picks up the phone every time I call, left several messages, and also tried to book online, but no response at all. This is very weird. I currently have just a temporary filling after going to the endodontist which only lasts a few weeks, so I really don’t understand why all of a sudden they seem to not care about their patients, let alone getting back to them.On my last visit with Dr. Chin, I also discussed an overcharging issue with the front desk regarding my insurance copay. I’m covered 80% and my copay is 20%, I noticed on my bill later that 3 out of 5 fillings that I got, they charged me 40% instead of 20%. I just got a “I know this is confusing but that rate is not from us, it was from your insurance company” response. Made it seem like I don’t understand a thing and all confused about it.They didn’t give me a refund.When I got my bill/EOB from the insurance, my copay rate is all at 20%, communicated this issue with my insurance, but how will it get solved, they don’t pick up the call even from the representatives.

My family has had good experiences with Sunrise Dental. The out of pocket costs with insurance are less here, and they are not pushy like some other places I have dealt with. So we are keeping this place.
