I love decarlas! I have been coming here for roughly 4 years. She’s always been reliable even near the holidays! I am a self taught hair braider lol (amongst other things) and I always come here for her hair extensions. The varieties in color when I want to express myself, to the low hum tones that help me bring the fall in. I love the texture of the hair. Really good quality! She’s been the sweetest joyful person I have ever met in customer service and I’ve worked 6 coffee stands. Come show her love! I haven’t had her do my hair yet because I’m practicing but when i do set an appointment I won’t think of anywhere else!

What a great experience. I was hesitant to go anywhere for my first time getting a hair price installed, but they were very welcoming and I felt relaxed as soon as I sat in the styling chair. The atmosphere was great! The services were 5 star and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I will definitely be returning in the future! Would highly recommend for any first timers! All my questions were answered and the conversations made it a even better experience!

I went in there looking for a wig one day and I wasnt exactly sure what I was looking for exactly and they told me to sit on down and they helped me find a wig that fit my needs and looked good on me. They were super sweet and they made me feel like a 100 bucks by the time I left the store. I would recommend them to anyone! Keep up the good work ladies :)

I’ve been to Decarla’s a few times now, nothing but great things to say. Every time I walk in she is so welcoming and ready to go, and when I leave, I am very pleased and happy with her work. It was my first time getting my hair weaved, Decarla was very kind and giving all the info I needed to know to understand how to take care of the hair. It takes some time getting it done, but sitting and talking with Decarla was like sitting and talking with one of your girlfriends. Highly recommend.

These ladies are educated on hair, and teaches you how to take care of your hair. They are honest and have a great business. I love the wide variety of hair there is to choose from as well as thier knowledge of it. Caroline is so talented with braiding, Im here every other month getting braids and shes doing something different each time. My hair has grown and gotten so healthy since I started coming here. I have to say I am blown away with my visit to see Decarla!!! Ive always dreamed of having long thick beautiful mermaid hair for years and years. I had extensions once before about 10 years ago it was awful. I was nervous of how it would go especially since I have fine hair. Decarla out did herself. For any girl who thinks she cant have long thick magical mermaid hair think again. I highly recommend her and have told my girlfriends all about my amazing experience!! I have trichotillomania and was very nervous about going to a salon. She was super friendly and understanding and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at all. She was able to cover my problem area on short notice, (as I was going to be in a wedding coming up soon) and now I’m finally able to wear my hair down after about 6 years or so. I definitely will be back. It’s so comforting knowing I now have a salon I can go to and know I won’t be judged or given weird looks. If you have trichotillomania, this is a “safe space” salon!!!

Ive been a customer of Decarlas Beauty Salon for about 3 years... and I consistently receive superior customer service every time. DC always makes sure that I am satisfied with her products and services. No one ever knows that I wear wigs, and I receive many compliments on my hair. I frequent your place for about 5 years, I usually buy clip on hair extensions and sometimes just hair extensions. I love you hair quality, the variety and affordable pricing. Im writing this review today because of my grandmother , my grandmother needed a wig, I recommended you because I knew you carry wigs. My mother and grandmother went to your place and she did purchase a wig from you, that entire day my grandmother forgot about her pain and they said you was really nice and helpful! My usual hair stylist was booked out months, so I was definitely nervous going to a new salon. Worth it! This salon was not only beautiful and relaxing, but the people were so lovely!

I recently moved from Atlanta where I get a sew in install from a celebrity stylist for $300. This women has no credible clients or even pictures that would meet my expectations. She charges $350 for an install. I would rather fly to California. Nor was she inviting.

The store was full and there was someone in the chair, and yet decarla made me feel right at home. Im not just Carla, but everyone in the store. I had just had a horrible experience purchasing my first wig just a couple days before from another local vendor, but this was fun! This is the experience that I was hoping to have. She has the eye. Well I was welcome to help myself, she could tell that I was out of my element. She chose for wigs of which I love three and purchase two. I highly recommend this place. Decarla is genuine and kind. She has a good selection of wigs at a great price. Ill be back again... And again.

Decarlas has the best hair in town. I am a braider and I send all my clients to her to purchase hair for individuals/ box braids and crochet hair. I was referred to her from a friend about a year ago and I have been faithful ever since. Coming from Los Angeles it was very hard for me to find a beauty supply that sold great products for African American hair, her in Washington. Ever since I found her I send everyone one of my clients to her. Decarla is awesome and always take the time to acknowledge your needs and what you are looking for when you come into the store.

I was looking for someone that could do corn rolls in my hair because I was having surgery and needed my hair up and off my neck for a week or 2..I called all over Seattle area.. one girl for a salon total me about Decarlas. I LOVE this place. Ive been seeing Decarla for a couple of years now. Her care and skill is so evident from the moment you walk in. I had individuals before that were thinning my already thin hair. Decarla guided me to a new style that not only protects my own hair but looks wonderful. I get so many compliments and spending time in her clean, comfy salon is restful. She has many styles of hair for me to select from since I like to change things up. Living on the northside her location is convenient and theres always parking which I love. This is a Long overdue review of Decarlas Beauty Supply and Salon.... I am a customer who eventually became an employee.... I was employed at Decarlas for over 8 years. Over this time frame I became a part of a wonderful family/team. I got to know Decarla the owner on a personal level, she is a hard working single mother who started this business from the grown-up... literally... I have watched this salon evolved over the years, this small business made it through the recession due to very loyal and happy customer/clientele. Decarla prides her namesake company as being reliable, honest, fair and working hard to bringing out the beauty in all of us... leaving this company due to a shift in my career path was a really difficult decision to make....however, after leaving I still recommend and support this company 100%....a one stop shop where you will enjoy quality product & service....

When I am in Seattle, Declaras beauty supply store is one of my primary destinations. It is a one stop shop. You have a variety hair products to choose from, quality hair extensions- human and synthetic hair that looks and feels human. It is all about what is in your price range. You wont leave disappointed. In my most recent visit to Declaras, I had the best experience ever. There were new wig styles since my last visit in 2014.Declara is very keen when it comes to styling wigs and making it look natural. I always received great feedback from the owner on how to properly wear my weaves and wigs. When I am back home, I shop online at Declaras website to chose my hair wigs. And I have yet to be disappointed with my shipment. I will be back soon. Love my new hair....

If I can give this place a Zero star I would!First off, I will give them credit...theyre wigs are nice. BUT THE SERVICE..oh my..I am a small business owner myself and I am all about supporting them. Decarla and her staff need to really work on their service.I had made an appt 2 weeks ago. I made this appt around my OB appt, baby shower, and maternity photos. I bought two bundles of hair & waiting for a closure. They said the closure would be here at my appt.I got a call at 620pm the night before my appt telling me that my closure hasnt come in and if I can come in later. Unfortunately I am due to have my baby next week so I cannot just miss my appt. if they had called me earlier I could have maybe changed it. So I told them no.Then they said well you can get a closure that matches your hair but youd have to pay more my original closure was $80 they were gonna charge me $160. I asked them if they could discount it since it wasnt my fault. They said no. So at this point I felt like I was being conned!! Then she says we have closures but theyre not gonna match seriously?!?To top it off...she was charging me $345 for the weave WITHOUT HAIR! I the hair with closure was $305 which I bought the hair already!I am at another salon who was able to get me in..very kind and she charges $150 for weave and wonderful service!!BEWARE WITH THIS PLACE!! Do your research and make the drive to to another salon!! This place is a disgrace and doesnt deserve your money!!
