Terrible. The counselor turnover was too frequent, some are unprofessional, and the owner only seems to care about your money.

PGBR is my only experience with alcohol/drug therapy and I cannot imagine a better place for someone to go to deal with their addictions. Kim knows how and when to say the loud things loudly and the quiet things quietly. She is constructive in her consultations and work, and encourages feedback from her clients. We seldom speak of alcohol/drugs affect on us but on coping skills, emotional well-being and overall health. She does a terrific job of fostering a community and encouraging people to advocate for themselves.

Two plus years sober now and zero struggle to stay that way. Could not have imagined a more affective and enjoyable experience. Very personable, no hassle, real human experience with staff that have been-there-done-that. Would recommend my own mother, so to speak!

This has been the most UNHELPFUL facility I have ever encountered. First, they lost record that my boyfriend had completed his alcohol assessment back in 2012. So in order to get his license reinstated they had to complete a new one. Then they failed to tell him what documents were needed when he showed up for his new assessment. So, they re scheduled him again. At his NEXT attempt to get his assessment done they said the documents he provided werent good enough, which was all of the documentation the court could provide AND his entire driving record. They then proceeded to accuse him of using fake urine for the urine analysis, refund his money and send him out the door. All over the process of almost two months with no help. I have spoken on the phone with three different workers and never had the same answers or help from anyone of them. DO NOT go here.

I came into Port Gardner a different woman than I am today! The small space shares big stories that relate, change perception, build courage, confidence, and growth, while helping me understand the problems that consumed me. You cant touch everyones life, but every life is important!!!Mine was changed and I feel blessed to have the support that changed me for the better !I engaged and Kim listened.

Do not recommend, paid $350 out of pocket because I needed to have an assesment done for cps and i needed it done asap and they had the soonest opening. Had it done on 9/11, it is now 11/15 and it is just now completed. I was told what I feel were lies such as they tried to contact me but my voicemail was full or not set up both of which are not true, told me it would be completed several different times and it was not. Excuses on excuses and her secretary covers for her. Ive been clean 9 months and was recommended for relapse prevention classes 2 nights a week which I also dont agree with. Very dissatisfied all the way around. Use their services at your own risk.

The people are unable to meet humans individual needs. When you present your problem, theyre closed minded, one way driven liars, who will turn on you in the time of need. Stay away from this facility at all costs.
