The most unprofessional treatment center I have seen yet. The counselors are rude to anyone trying to call in and see their child/grandchild. Alienating these women from those who care is not going to help them with their recovery after treatment. They gossip with the residents and make up lies. They encourage unhealthy relationships with active users. If I could give them zero stars, I would. If you plan to send your child here be aware you may not see your grandchild for months and months. Horrible communication practices all around and they are constantly changing their rules and procedures and then get upset when you are not up to date. Management needs to take a hard look at the unqualified young adults they are letting counsel these women in the time they need guidance most.

From when i was sent there in 2002 and it was Evergreen Manor....Beware!!!!! If you are going to them because of some court appointed program such as i did where my now ex husband was the abuser. They wrote things in their assessment that were 100% false. It reads as if my notes for assessment were mixed with someone else and then submitted to the court with me having no knowledge of what they wrote. I had a public defender who clearly dropped the ball as well, but i didnt find out any of this until i started the process for expungement 19 years later. When i tried to get some answers compared to what i had remembered of the process i was told they only keep records for 7 years. They couldnt tell me or show me any information that i went through, how many times i had been there for UA, the fees i paid, NOTHING is archived. This seems like a gross negligence especially for people like myself who were coming from an abusive relationship in the time it was going on suffering from PTSD and not a substance abuse problem.Again is you are going through them for court related things make sure your lawyer can and will be on your side with whatever they produce. Most things you cant file for expungement for 5 to 10 years on. So if they submit something wrong and it is not caught in that moment it can haunt you without your knowledge. Thus fostering a system where no one wants to believe you because they think you are an addict based off their words.

I loved working at PPW program a little over a year. The counselors and support staff really root for these women to succeed! There is a high turnover and I dont really understand why as I thought we were paid well and got good benefits and generous leave policy. They are expanding and Linda Grant included me in the build meetings and I felt like she really valued my opinion and the rest of the staffs because she wanted everyones needs met. They added so many services to ensure the women start off on the right foot when they leave. My only complaint is with a new supervisor coming in, she did a lot of micro managing for people that were very capable of self managing. She also said over and over with new leadership comes change..... She said it a lot but what it felt like is that she didnt like change so she forced everyone to do things her way without showing any respect for the time, education and experience, history we had working there. She disregarded our input often and I noticed a lot of people began being unhappy. She gets 1 star. But ERC gets 5 stars, sad to leave but need to find something with an evening shift because of covid and family.

ERC as a whole is a great company. I think Linda Grant is a very kind and attentive leader. I also have nothing but positive things to say of Jennifer Walter and Shermoin Clardy. I also adored most of the people I worked with while at the PPW program, but I think the current atmosphere is one of gossip, toxicity, and poor management. I was at the PPW location less than a year and we went through 3 directors and multiple residential specialist’s/counselors. If people are coming and going that often, it speaks volumes. Rather than supporting staff and meeting with employees weekly to check in, you would get scolded for every little thing. God forbid you express that you’re struggling in any way, because then you will be told to, “go to counseling.” The residents need consistency and stability, yet the rules and expectations are always changing. I worked with multiple people who were/are scared to speak up or voice their concerns/opinions for fear of retaliation from management. The residents were so sweet, and the residential specialist’s that I consistently worked with are incredible women, but I do not recommend working at the PPW program.

I’m giving the facility as a whole 5 stars. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ERC. I suppose with all the changes due to covid, as a counselor in training, I couldn’t get the training that I needed. Or, they didn’t have the time. I went from excited and driven, to frustrated and my performance was less than I knew it could be. I was told........” you aren’t the right fit”. With no explanation, no feedback, no nothing. And over the phone. Right after I was called to ask how I was doing after being in quarantine, and when I was able to come back. So the real question is, did I not fit in to what “Evergreen’s PPW’s” current supervisor is willing to deal with or train? Or maybe it was the fact that the professional relationship was tainted after a situation occurred and the supervisor showed less the superior characteristics when voicing her opinion, publicly, about me and my personal life as a single mom, and I showed how disappointed and upset I was? And I still never got an apology or acknowledgment that it was wrong. So no, maybe this wasn’t the place for me, opposed to me not being the “right fit” for them/her.There are some AWESOME counselors here. And they really care. I’d never speak anything but good about the program. But since I wasn’t given any feedback, I’ll give some. Yes, this is an “at will” state. But I don’t ever want to work for another place that makes you think you are doing great and pretends to support you, then just disses you with no explanation. There are rule inconsistencies, technical inconsistencies, and half the time no one knows what’s going on at any given time. I’m sure it has to do with all the changes and covid. But then, when an employee asks for help and guidance, maybe give it to them BEFORE you decide they aren’t the right fit. Unless the whole team was secretly counting me out behind my back. And if that was the case, I definitely don’t want to work in that type of culture. Because after all, they say it takes about 6 months to get a groove.........right.......because that’s what I was told. I wasn’t given that AT ALL.

Had a pretty debilitating I.V heroin addiction, found my breaking point and just wanted health. Called evergreen recovery and had a bed within 24 hours. They make the withdrawal process as comfortable as possible without actually using opioids. As far as success rates, well that depends on you. You get to sleep and eat all day until you have kicked the worst of the withdrawal process. Usually, you can be referred to an inpatient/outpatient treatment program as well, which from my experience is completely nessesary if you want to remain clean. If you are thinking about detoxing here, please just go for it. Dont think twice. Give it a shot. Get your freaking life back!

The staff is kind and have patience. Be good to them and they are even better to you. This is detox people, its not the 4 seasons hotel. If u want it that way, then spend $ getting that kind of treatment or vote for more funding from the government to help the facilities that are trying to help addicts. They can only do so much with resources they have. Regardless....were the addicts and no one to blame but ourselves and at least there are people out there trying to help us *which should be nothing more than appreciated! Thank you evergreen recovery

I personally loved this facility. The staff that worked there when I went in 2015 were amazing! I have almost 4 years clean, have all my kids and a home. They dont take any BS so if you are serious about your recovery then this is the perfect place. If not the stay will probably not be very plesent.

The staff. The rooms. The food. The BATH TUB. I was so shocked by how nice it is! All these 1 star ratings blow my mind. Clearly these people have no clue what a bad facility actually is.. Try going to Tacoma detox... Evergreen is a 5 star hotel compared to Tacoma. If you are needing a safe & comfortable place to detox, I truly recommend evergreen. Best place i will ever find with state insurance. So greatful they are letting me come back.

I was very grateful for the nurses and staff at evergreen detox. They were carrying, understanding, but most important they were non judgmental. I would not have made it through the dtox process without them. My room was clean and comfortable. I could not comment on the food because i didnt eat much. I can say they make sure thee is plenty healthy snacks and lots of gatorade to stay hydrated.. I was there a few years ago and unfortunately i need to go back, but at least there is a place to go to.

Staff is very friendly. They need updated lists for the familys who purchase items for their patients. Its a multiple building facility. So more detailed signs would be helpful. Easy access.

I can not believe that the counselors left the ladies in recovery to their own devices...no counseling no nothing but movies all because 1 employee said they had covid...these ladies in recovery were not your priority & how many are back on the streets because you gave up

A family member went to the facility in Monroe. It Is a nice building and location. The family member is in an abusive relationship which causes them to relapse but despite being told that and witnessing it for themselves, the staff never addressed it or gave any help. One staff member is very judgmental and scolded someone who returned after a relapse. People should be encouraged to return to treatment. It is not a sign of weakness and they should know that.

ERC is amazing! I am so grateful for all the caring staff, clinical and residential! My experience at ERC was life changing and I am nothing but grateful for the opportunity to have my children with me while I learn the tools to provide the best life I can for myself and for my family! I highly recommend this place for any mom battling with addiction. The best part about ERC was the food 100%! Tasty and healthy meals I should have taken notes from the cook!!

Horrible about helping people, actually were of no help at all and made things a lot worse for me. I was seeking help with detox waited all week to head there from Skagit Valley about a 2 hour drive, only to have a voice mail saying that they dont have a bed now and that someone stayed, so I was halfway there with family already going out if their way to take me. Good thing I didnt pay for a bus ticket like I almost did. They would have really had me stuck in an awful situation. They said call the other location absolutely zero help and even worse of a waiting list to get help. They have no resources when they mess things up for you to help and are unorganized and unprofessional. And were rude. I wish I had read the reviews because I am apparently not the only person whos had a bad impression of them. Youd think they would have an option for you when youve waited for this and they say well sorry. Obviously they arent out to help anyone just there for a paycheck. They put me on hold several times and werent even listening to me when I called, they were literally talking to other staff interrupted me to have a conversation with someone else, like oh sorry what were u saying? They are not caring or concerned about helping anyone and thats clear. I would call around because they will give u the run around and it looks like Im blessed because Im going somewhere that will actually help me. I dont see how they stay opened with such awful treatment and uncaring staff. Zero stars!

My son adult son checked himself in for detox. He was there for 5 days. Treated super. Every time I called to check on him was treated with the utmost respect. Big hugs for Kevin who checked him in and helped and to Rosemary. He came out with a smile on his face. The only complaint I heard was the about the food. He also left with no balance of Money!

I have been involved with this facility for several years now. Im not proud to say i have been there 16 times. nearly every time but a few I allowed myself to fail because i was so broken & felt i wasnt worthy of a good life.Myself of all people can say i have never experienced even 1 bad staff member..whenever a situation did arise it was all my own doing. Us as clients need to remember that they are human. and just because we feel like were gonna die doesnt give us the right to be disrespectful, demanding and mean. All the staff there are great. they didnt put us there we got our lives screwed up all on our own. So try & show some compassion to these ladies because they really do care, They believe in us when we dont believe in our selves. I would recommend this place to anybody

All I know is that the legacy lodge in Mt Vernon is awesome but it is almost sad going to this dump IOP after a great inpatient program and experience at the legacy lodge. Its like comparing apples and oranges when it comes to the professionalism and quality of care when comparing them. Its unbelievable they are run by the same company. All I can say is Evergreen IOP is a nightmare in all works. Switched to Cathlic community Services. Much better IOP.

Failed to care for my diabetes correctly. Wrongfully kicked me out for being suicidal and said I could not be cared for when no one tired to calm me down, from mood swings common from detox, begged to finish my last 2 days, no chance. Lied to medical staff of threats to assault staff at evergreen. Completely run down building food is inedible. All I want is to get clean. Stay away from this place if you need guidance in your sobriety. Absolutely horrid

I dont really understand the review I just read. I cant believe it. I honestly wonder if they went to the same place I went. I thought it was just great not to mention it didnt cost anything. I just referred 2 of my friends to the place and they have since been admitted because I liked the place so much. Every opiate addicts worst fear is dealing with the misery of withdrawal and that is probably the the biggest reason people cant get clean but this place gives you the chance to comfortably get through the hardest part of the withdrawal stage. This place has without a doubt saved countless lives and given addicts hope for a better way of living. The food was just fine and there was plenty of it and like I said for being free its great. Youre not there to be on vacation and I dont know why somone would write a review like that. Very ungrateful .

I loved it, Ive always been afraid of withdrawals but they kept me comfortable and made me feel safe. Most of the staff is great, there were only a couple rude people that worked there was always notified about meals and meetings but a lot of the times I couldnt get myself out of bed in time so more warning, or even 2 warnings would be nice. It was hard to watch others go through pain at the same time and heartbreaking to watch people drop out. There are children upstairs in housing units so that gets fairly annoying. No bed times so youre free to wander around whenever or sleep all day except to take your meds. The beds and pillows were comfy and if you need anything within reason all you have to do is ask. I forgot toothpaste and they hooked me up, you can ask for a razor while you shower or bathe, theres a toaster available if you ask for it. All in all I would recommend it

Some rude staff, no patient attendance, over medication, pushes overmedication, didnt check on patients so messed up they cant waklk, bounce off walls, hits head on door frame, didnt even examine her for injury or concussion, no clocks and yet no warning for meals, snack room empty, no view of outside, only one tv in day room, the snacks we do get are hoarded and guarded by pushier inmates, only hear of meetings if you are in day room, no radios, some very rude agressive nurses. Etc. Do NOT recommend.
